I will tell you, there is a surprise in here that shocked me and will probably shock you. But are people running from the blue states? That’s the question that we want to answer here. But first, we got to tell you about the caloric bypass. Don’t eat breakfast again until you get the caloric bypass. Your breakfast is setting you up to either help you gain weight, which you don’t want, unless you’re skinny, or to lose weight, which you do want for most of us. The term breakfast means break your fast, and typically four hours after you eat dinner, your body switches from nutrients that we get from food to the stored glycogen we have in our bodies.
Once glycogen stores are depleted, typically about 8 to 12 hours of fasting, the body shifts to burning fat for energy. Fatty acids are released from the fat stores, where they’re converted into ketone bodies, which is ketogenesis. I’m telling you how you lose weight now. This is where this is leading. Stay tuned. There is a process that Dr. Gundry has invented. A world-renowned cardiologist lost 70 pounds in his 60s. He’s kept it off all these years. He now says, if you break your nightly fast with MCTs, you can actually keep burning fat through the day. It’s incredible.
It’s a good way to lose weight. Now, you can learn how to do this from him very simply by simply going to thehealthyfat.com. If you’re in our social media, then you already have the link in the description box. Absolutely fantastic. Remember, everybody’s a little bit different, but there are some general rules of thumb here that Dr. Gundry capitalizes on. If you want to lose weight, this is certainly a secret where you want to take advantage of this opportunity. Now, we’re going to get to the topic at hand. This is interesting. In terms of leaving a state, we’re going to look at two categories combined, the young and the rich.
Where are they moving? Now, what we’re seeing here for the top states that are acquiring population, number one is Florida. Number two is Texas. You know what really surrounds these states? Liberty and no state income tax. I don’t think that’s an accident. Now, what’s interesting is people are going to New Jersey. Now, there’s an explanation. You’re going to see New York. People are flooding out of there like crazy. And some people can’t or don’t want to move across country. They keep their job by going to New Jersey and then taking public transportation. So that’s not surprising.
Now, what surprised me? Oh, oh, my. Colorado? Well, it’s pretty close. OK, North Carolina, Connecticut. So what we’re looking at here, OK, is people 26 to 35, making 200,000 or more in adjusted gross income. So they’re doing pretty well. Can’t afford to live in Massachusetts on that, though. When you take a look at these states, their inflow, their outflow, their net migration, OK, Florida, red, Republican, Texas, red, Republican, New Jersey. I’ve already explained why I think that is there. Colorado, interesting, interesting, because they’re as blue as the day is long. And therefore North Carolina, primarily red, Connecticut, blue, Washington, blue, Tennessee, red.
And you look at Arizona. Well, we’re conservative here, but we’re run by the blue. That’s you can tell me why you think that’s true. South Carolina, that’s purple. Doesn’t really factor Georgia’s red. Utah’s red. Nevada is primarily blue. So you look here at the top 13, 14, 15. It favors red in terms of acquiring population, but by not a lot. And remember, though, here’s your demographic data that will make sense to you. Who’s more likely to be a liberal, young or older? See, with liberal, you’re idealistic. The world is to be conquered. Everyone can be treated fairly and everyone is nice.
And yeah. And then you start to realize you can’t afford to be liberal. If we did this and we talked about people in their 40s, you wouldn’t see a blue state in the top 20. That’s a fact. But you’re talking about liberals here primarily because of their age. Now, some of that’s changing. Let’s go to the bottom of the chart here and take a look and see what’s what here. Okay. Where are people fleeing from? New York, number one. California, number two. Illinois, number three. Massachusetts, number four. So in the top four right there, all blue states.
Mass departures. And you look at 49 and 50. California, New York. Okay, those numbers are off the charts in terms of who’s leaving because these states are so punitive towards people with money. Now, Missouri is primarily a red state. Louisiana is purple. North Dakota, okay. I think that’s a climate factor. Interesting with New Mexico. Although Mexico is a beautiful state. You drive through it, it’s beautiful. Albuquerque, worst crime city in the country. Delaware, blue state. Alaska, interesting. I bet climate’s a factor. But also, I think, too, Biden energy policies, taking down oil. People got to make a living, so I think a lot of them left Alaska for that reason.
And I think that’s primarily the case here. So anyway, the data is not quite as clear as I thought it would be, but age is the factor. You still see pretty conclusively more people are leaving blue states than are leaving red states. I think that proportion, like I said, would be higher if the demographic population age was higher by two decades. Once people are in their 40s. Yeah, exactly. And that’s what the data shows us for voting as well, too. So those are some demographic trends I thought you’d find interesting. But I think we can conclude this from the last two pieces that we have had here in our particular surveys that we have reviewed.
This one was from smart assets and pretty interesting here. With smart assets, they show a lot of trends, and the trends overwhelmingly favor the fact that people want to live in red states. The older they are, the more money they make, the more that’s the case. And you say, well, why wouldn’t people leave if they don’t have money? They can’t afford to. They’re stuck. It takes a certain level of income to uproot and leave. Kind of interesting when you look at it that way, too. But what we can say is people would rather live where there’s freedom and less taxes and less authoritarianism, less judgmental behavior from the government trying to control everything.
This is how I take this information. If you disagree on my interpretation of the data sets, yeah, certainly say so. Let’s compare notes and our observations here, but people want freedom. That’s the bottom line. And I think if Kamala had got elected, I think we would have seen some real trouble down the road. Because when people are backed into a corner, they don’t have freedom. Well, we’ve got lots of examples in our country’s history with what people will do. My name is Dave Hodges. This is the Common Sense Show. Make sure you sign up for our TV show, the commonsenseshow.tv, our hip series, hiding in plain sight, huge hit.
People love what we’re doing there. A little off the beaten path. People say a little bit like Art Bell. Yeah, but I put my own flavor in there. And then we have our geopolitics and we have our shows, our interviews. It’s really cool, the commonsenseshow.tv. We’ll see you over there. And thanks for joining us here. I hope you enjoy these comparisons because I think it helps to really solidify what most of us already know to be true. [tr:trw].
