Southbound and Down – Sheriff Judd (FL)

And there’s a link here that I’ll just put in the show notes now if you’re interested in that event, and I’m kind of interested in it. I wouldn’t mind coming down. I like Florida and at least get down there once every couple of years. Someone else who’s anonymous said, can you – Well, yeah, you said FSA. That’s the Florida Sheriff’s Association. Oh, yeah. Okay. Anyway, I got a couple of stories here from Florida, but this anonymous individual said, could you plan to do an extended review and discussion of the Tennessee State – sorry, Tennessee Senate Judiciary Committee hearing of SB 250 on February 27, 2013, Obama’s Gun Control Bill of Rights during a CSPOA webinar? I’m not familiar with that.

Maybe you are or are not. I’m not. I know there was something that just happened recently, but I didn’t remember it was Tennessee, and it was – I don’t remember which one it was. But it was a good thing for gun control, but I don’t remember the particular subject. I think – as a matter of fact, I think I read it on the plane during my trip, and I was so upset about my trip that I may not have remembered it correctly. So can somebody explain that to us? Yeah. Well, they sent a video, YouTube, so I could send that over to you.

You can have a look at it. Maybe you might want to talk about it. So anyway, so I’m going to go over here – so we have Sheriff Grady Judd talking about the fact that he’s amazed that people who – my screen just went black. Am I still there? Yeah. He’s amazed that people seem to be more concerned about illegal immigrants than they do Americans, and he has a short little conversation about that. But as usual, it’s kind of funny and well said. And then we also have a sheriff with some good common sense, and this sheriff is – what is his name? I don’t see his name in the thing.

But anyway, it’s a very interesting little video where he explains why gun control is worthless. So let’s start out with Sheriff Judd. I still can’t imagine why people think more of illegal aliens committing crime than they do honest, law-abiding citizens of the state of Florida and the United States of America. I don’t understand that. The law enforcement officers of the state of Florida will do their job. Our governor is the leader. Our governor is saying, now’s the time and we’re the place to set the example of how we can protect people and keep them safe in the free state of Florida.

And I leave with this message. Southbound and down. Do it yourself. You can self-deport and avoid a lot of prison sentence, but it’s time. Southbound and down. Thank you, Governor. So short and sweet, but not a bad little message. Yeah, and that was Sheriff Wayne Ivey right behind him on the left side. Yeah, so that was probably a sheriff’s meeting that he did that at. That’s what I was going to say, too. It had to be what it was. Anyway, suspect still on the loose. Sheriff shuts down the fake news gun law narrative after the shooting.

All the gun laws we had in the place didn’t prevent it. Folks, don’t ask dumbass questions. You mentioned the gun. Do we know how the suspect got a hold of the weapon? Car burglaries. Car burglaries. Yeah. Ain’t that right? All the gun laws we got in place didn’t prevent it, did it? Neither will any new ones. Because here’s the fact. The bad guy is going to get a gun no matter what. I can’t place him. Folks, don’t ask dumbass. Hey, Mike, which sheriff is that? What’s his name? Go ahead and… It’s Ocala. Ocala, yeah. As soon as somebody decides his name, I’ll know what it is.

Oh, yeah, that’s Sheriff. But I don’t remember his name now, but I know he knows him. Oh, here it is. Billy Woods. Sheriff Billy Woods from Ocala. Very good. Thank you, Mike. So, yeah, Billy Woods. Sheriff Woods. And I think your whole point is very valid here with this, Jack. The sheriffs from Florida are starting to really kick some butt. And it used to be we were getting a lot of this out of Texas, and we’re still getting some good stuff out of Texas. But right now, Florida sheriffs are the backdrop of America. They are doing, they are stepping up, they are doing, they are standing.

And well, we got three examples in just the last three minutes. Ivy, Woods, and Judd. And so, yeah, this is fantastic. And our best sheriff hasn’t even addressed this yet, and that’s Rick Staley from Flagler County. And then we have another great sheriff of, well, of Flower. Yes, I think it’s Jeff Flower. Am I saying that right, Mike? From Indian River County. So, and there’s plenty more. We just, in fact, remember, Jack, we had Sheriff Staley and the president of the Florida Sheriff’s Association on, what, about three months ago. So we’re thrilled with the response we’re getting from Florida.

I can’t wait to go to their conference. I’m on the speaker’s list at their breakfast on the morning of the 27th, I believe, or it’s the 28th. No, it’s 27th. And so, and we have good volunteers. Mike Cartwright will be there. And Mike, just so you know, that’s what I was gonna call you about, and I still will call you. But I have another request to be in another state on the 28th, and so I might leave early and leave the rest of it to you and Bill and Jeff. And if I feel, if you guys still confident about letting me go, I will, but I’ll definitely be there for two, two and a half days, and then hopefully fly from Orlando out to, I don’t remember what state, but it’s in the Midwest somewhere.

So anyway, it’s good to be busy, but I wish we could all work ourselves out of a job. And I’m not kidding. I pray for the day that we look at America and the sheriff’s and say, you know what, we’ve done our work. It’s working, and sheriffs and sheriff candidates all across the country are now going to keep us safe, secure the Constitution, and restore our constitutional republic. And that will be the happiest day of my life, and it will be when I finally get to retire. So let’s do it, folks. [tr:trw].
