Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another edition of the CSPOA Posse webinar today with myself and Sheriff Mack, and it’s another beautiful Wednesday in our ever-increasing insane world. And we’re just happy as heck to be here with you and to give you an update on the situation from the front lines from our Commander-in-Chief and this organization. We also have for you to see behind us here the 2024 Florida Foundation for Freedom Conference, which Sheriff Mack will bring you up to speed on if you’re not already. That’s coming up September 6th and 7th in Orlando, and this is a big event, and this is hopefully one of the bigger events that Sheriff Mack has been able to put together to draw attention to the fact that the sheriffs are the final front line, and also to reach out to sheriffs everywhere and let them know what their responsibility is as a constitutional officer who is elected by the people, for the people, and not for the government per se.
He’s not an errand boy for the government, but rather a servant of the people, and that’s something that I was just reading through Madison’s Federalist paper, Sheriff Mack, and you know, these people, they made a big, big deal out of the fact that the government got a tiny little bit of power, and all the rest of it was reserved for those on the other side, you know, the states and then the people as well, and so the sheriff has a big role in this. He is something that is very powerful, and all those naysayers you have are clearly wrong when they’re trying to tell people that, no, the sheriff’s just an errand boy.
