We Make Progress Working With Our Sheriffs

You’re 100% correct, Sam. You know, I sit here and I’m very thankful to what a grace of God that I’m still the sheriff in this county. You know, I came from a city type atmosphere as a young man. I came from a city PV. Came through a rural area, especially with an Italian last name. And I’ve managed to be the sheriff here for four terms now and possibly going for a fifth. And the reason why I believe is because I’ve been here, you know, to the guidelines, to the people, and to the checks and balances with the Constitution.

And we have to set that professional line, like you said. And we’ve got to understand the reason that we’re so far from the Constitution, the reason that we’re so far from the way it ought to be, or how the founders envisioned, is because the people haven’t been educated enough to demand it. Okay, that’s one thing people need to kind of understand. Every time we kind of sit back and act like it’s somebody else or, you know, hey, it’s we the people that are the ones that, I mean, they said if you have what kind of government you have, well, you have a republic if you can keep it.

But that suggests we got to be highly involved. And you know what, in a county with say 100,000 people in it, you can’t have 50 people that are calling the line, you got to have thousands of people. Our system was not meant for a few to control anything. And so unless you get enough educated Americans to demand accountability, just take the Jeffrey Epstein files, for instance. And they could have released those a long time ago if enough people would have said we demand it now, or you’re all out on your ears. But it’s the only the few, you know, get frustrated and speak out boldly.

If we want to make change, we’ve got to make it the general consensus in society change. And I know you don’t like that word consensus because it, you know, kind of suggests nation building or some of these other global terms. But I’m telling you, unless we have enough like minded citizens to demand something, they’ll just run roughshod over it. They always have. The sheriff is the one to help us hold that line, though, Sheriff Carbonelli. You’re right. You’re absolutely right. You know, you talk about not understanding the Constitution. We look at today with with the 17 million, you know, invasion of outside people from our country coming in that want to get involved in voting or, you know, trying to get get jobs here and not they’re not assimilating into our into our country and learning what the what the history is about it.

So they’re steered the wrong way. They’re given to the misled information and they don’t know how the country was founded on salmon. I think that creates a big problem for us down the road, which we’re starting to see right now currently and how we had a mayor elected in New York City that doesn’t stand for anything for the United States.
