If they did not have the attack surrounding them and they didn’t have to spend so many resources defending themselves, they would forage like you would never believe. A brilliant, highly technical people. They would forage. They became even wealthier than they already are. They would do very, very well. They just want to be left alone. But the other Arab states say they don’t have a right to exist. Death to Israel. Death to the United States. According to the Iranians, we don’t have a right to exist. They’re not normal people. I think you’re being naive. Excuse me for saying it, but I think you’re being very naive.

Quick break from the program to share with you something amazing. This is called sloop. It’s actually SLU P332, but it’s been shortened to Sloop. And this thing mimics exercise. It seems too good to be true. I first shared this on my substack and I had Dr. Diane Kaser and we went through all the benefits of this and the whole thing sold out. You can’t get it anywhere really across the industry and the people who are using it the most are athletes and bodybuilders and people who want to see extra performance in athletics. Because this in preclinical studies with mice increased their endurance by 70% and their distance by 45%.

I mean, it’s incredible. And it’s been shown to mimic exercise even when you’re at rest. In pre clinical studies with obese mice, they lost upwards of 12% of their body weight in four weeks and it increased muscle. So this is really taking the industry by storm. It’s actually not that expensive either. With my 10% coupon, it’s about $80 for maybe a two month supply if you take one capsule a day. If you decide to up it to two capsules a day because your dosage depends on what you want, then it’s a one month supply. But Dr.

Dian recommends doing one capsule a day until your body gets used to it. You might not see the same level of results right away that the mice did, but your body can get used to it and see if it’s something that you really want to do. If you are interested in this, I will have a link below so you can try it yourself or go to sarah westall.com under shop. Remember to use the code Sarah to save 10%. Welcome to business. Game changers. I’m Sarah Westall. I have Jared Knott coming to the program. He’s a decorated military combat veteran from Vietnam.

He’s also a historian and writer, and he has a book that’s a sequel to a New York Times bestselling book. It’s called the Tiny Blunders, Big Disasters. And he talks about historical events where there was a tiny blunder that changed world history and that so much of history is based on just stupid little things that happen, and it changes the course of history. And that a lot of times, all this planning and thinking and strategic stuff and isn’t really what ultimately creates, you know, what happens in history. And so it’s a really fantastic, fascinating book to dive into.

But he’s also a geopolitical analyst, and he. He’s more. He’s different than I am. We have different ideas on things. And I like to talk to people who are different than me. I think I piss off everyone. I was told by a publicist, not mine, He’s. She says, ignore him. But I was told recently by someone that nobody likes you, Sarah, because you don’t get in line with the. The. With either group. And they want you to just toe the line. And that you need to do, you know, you need to get in line if you want people to support you.

And. And I also. He was a little offensive and said, as a female, you need to be more of a helper. Right? He said that. That didn’t work well for me. And. But. But he said, nobody supports you because you’re not more in line. And I’m like, well, God, I’m just trying to be authentic, and I’m trying to do what I think is right and bring information and question things. I’m not paid by anybody. That’s why I don’t get millions of views. I infamously Talked about how YouTube wouldn’t let me on their program because I was harassing and bullying people.

That’s the official stance. And they didn’t give me a single person, not a strike, nothing, not a single video they could point to where I was harassing and bullying somebody. But yet Candace Owens was up there literally in a lawsuit against the president of France for harassing and bullying them. And she was getting millions of views. Now, I’m not making a judgment on whether she should have been off or not. I’m just saying it was such a hypocrisy, right? And so I’m like, well, this is why this interview is going to be a great example why nobody on either side likes me.

But the middle, I think the majority of the public is the point where I’m at, where you’re like, I don’t really like anything that I’m seeing. I want us to have reasonable conversations about this. I want to question your facts, I want to question what I’m seeing. And I want to have debates, open debates on where people who disagree in can have conversations. That’s what I want to see. And he was a great trooper. And I told him at the end that I really, really appreciated his attitude in this. And he talks about how he has friends who totally disagree with him and they could sit and have conversations and then afterwards have a drink and have, go out and have no problem.

Like that’s how it used to be in this country. We used to debate about stuff and I used to be friends with people who didn’t agree with you. In politics, we can’t be this divided if we want to solve problems. And so this conversation, I hope you at least get something out of it. And I think we need to have a hell of a lot more of these people are more secure at going and listening to people they completely agree with and then close everybody off and then we have this horrible situation where the country is disintegrating and people are fighting and nobody gets along.

And I’m just, I’m tired of that. I’ve been tired of that my entire time here. And that’s why, according to some, why I’m not supported. But I guess I have to be who I am. I am not one of the, and we talk about it in this, this show. I’m not one of those influencers that are getting paid, right? That’s why I have to do advertisements. I wish I could get to the point where I just, I have a few people that I support because I so much believe in it or my own company and I just do my thing.

But, but you can’t. I have to make a living. So I have to look for businesses that I’m like, okay, I, this product looks good, I’ll support you. I mean, I have to do that. And I try to do the best I can. I’m not, I’m not paid. Like an influencer is when someone says they don’t advertise and they only take donations, there’s some big donors behind them and you wonder who they are. I, you know, most people that do advertising, like me, would rather just take donations, right? I would rather just work and not have to, to worry about that stuff.

Although I’m an entrepreneur, so I actually would like to build businesses, which I am doing. But I think you know my point. And so we have a conversation about that as well. How, how Many people on the Internet are paid propagandists for foreign countries or for different sides of these wars. And I think you’ll be surprised that a lot of the most popular ones are, are in some way. And maybe that’s another reason why I’m not propped up, because I’m not one side or the other. I actually care about this country and I don’t want these fights.

I want us to be able to have these honest, open dialogues and debate. I mean, what happened to common sense? What happened to just adults knowing that this is what you need to do? I mean, why is there so few people like me willing to have these conversations? Because that’s what used to be what adults just knew you had to do. Right? We all knew this was. You have to work through these problems. You have to. The debate existed. The debate clubs at Harvard and every high school in the country existed in every university. Yale and Harvard and all the different state universities all had debate clubs for a reason.

Right? We used to really like the debates that we saw, but now politicians don’t even want to debate. They just want to do ads and do the manipulation on social media. And it’s just what happened to basic common sense. So, okay, I’ll get off my soapbox. That’s what this interview is about. This. I’m going to say it’s not an interview. Also, my, my stuff is conversations. I get these a holes that come into my channel and says, sarah, you need to talk less. And I’m like, well, they’re conversations. I need to have conversations. And then I’ll get people.

They had one where I just got nailed with, I talk too much. And then I went and I analyzed it and I only talk 30% of the time. And he interrupted me way more than I interrupted him. And I’m just like, you know what? These are conversations. And I do that for a reason because I think it creates better dialogue. You don’t have to like the style. There are other people you can go and have some traditional interview and. But you’re just not going to get it from me. You’re going to get conversations from me because I want my, I want more depth to what we talk about.

And you can’t necessarily get more depth unless you’re doing that interactive exchange. And sometimes I let them talk for long periods, other times I need to challenge them. And it’s. Not everybody likes it, but some people. But most people do, I think. And so just stop. And I think there’s trolls too. I think they’re paid so when you look, there’s a lot of paid bots that are doing that to me on purpose to try to throw me off. So when you see all those paid bots saying that, we know for a fact that a lot of them are and it is what it is.

So if you counteract that by giving me a thumbs up or giving me a review that’s positive, I would really appreciate it. Those of you who want to see more dialogue like this, give me a positive review. Especially on Apple. I’m doing really good on Apple. I’ve been ranking in the top three. I’m ranked three as I’m the day I’m recording this. I’ve ranked two last week on business news and I’ve been ranking consistently in the top 100. So that’s what happens when I’m not censored. So I’m also growing again on YouTube. I don’t think they’re still censoring me, but not as bad.

So thank you. And I guess on YouTube if you do one of those hype points, it helps me do a hype. For those of you who’ve never done a hype, do one now. Do it for me, please. And I guess that helps it going more. And subscribe. Whatever channel you’re on, please subscribe. And also I have to say thank you for being here because I really appreciate everybody who has stood by me over the years. I was on person everywhere. So those of you who are still watching me over the years, thank you and all the new people, thank you for being here and supporting the channel.

And if you want to watch more exclusives and see more material like this, go to westallmedia.com that’s also my sub stack which is sarah westall@substack.com But Westall media.com is easier to find. So go there, sign up and subscribe and you’ll get notifications of the show. And you will also see exclusives there as well. And there are replays there. I have the recent peptide replay. I have Eddie Connor did a webinar with me where we did Q and A. He’s the psychic medium, which is fun. I like having that. My Thrive hour where I bring in intuitives.

So if you want to see more of that, you can see that there as well. Okay, let’s get into this. Pretty feisty conversation, but he was a trooper. He was awesome with Jared Knott. Hey, Jared. Welcome to the program. Pleasure to be here. It’s a great honor. Thank you. What the heck is going on with the middle East. A lot of people that I talk to, you probably won’t appreciate this, but maybe you will. A lot of people I, I talk to think that the incompetence is so obvious that it has to be on purpose. And I think, you know, I don’t know if that’s true.

I’ve seen enough in my adult life where incompetence is not on purpose. It really happens where people just can’t see the ramifications of what they’re doing. What’s really going, do you think in the Middle east, is this on purpose or is it just shortsightedness all around? Well, there’s an old saying in law enforcement that don’t assume a conspiracy when simple incompetence is the answer. Okay. A lot of times people just goof up and you think, gee, must be doing something crooked. Well, they may be, but may just be they shot themselves in the foot. To kind of summarize the situation.

Of course, the Iranians, fanatics, nefarious evil, willing to die for their cause, think that when they die they’re going to go to a mansion with 42 virgins. Okay. And that’s, I mean, at my age, 42 is an awful big number. But anyway, so, but, but the bottom line is they’re willing to do anything not to lose. But we’ve kind of got them in a situation where we’re strangling them to death step by step. It’s not a military operation so much as it is an economic operation. Their communication. Why did we have to enter? I mean, because we, we.

You know, I think people are really disgusted with Gaza because they felt that as they analyzed it, they felt like it was just so out of proportion and there was so much criminal behavior towards innocent people. And then, and then being, and then the Epstein thing where, you know, we know who’s involved and then we all of a sudden start bombing Iran. It kind of feels like there’s, it’s so icky to most people. I mean, to so many people other than the die hards, most people are turning against this. Well, the people in the Middle east are very much aware that Iran is evil.

They turned this turn and started attacking their friends. They started attacking Okaman. They started attacking. Yeah, but that doesn’t address. Well, yeah, but that’s. After we attacked them. They weren’t attacking anybody at that point. And this came on the heels of the whole Gaza situation and all connected to all of that. So from the public standpoint, people are like, I, I don’t, I don’t like this. Now we have, we’re paying more, all of our prices are more. And it, you know, we entered into this administration with we’re not going to do any more wars. And it seems like the Zionists, you know, the people who are hell bent on keeping the military industrial complex going because they have to, to keep those corporations, they need to make money somehow.

I’d like to redirect their efforts to space exploration and other things. You know, there’s a good argument to be made that there’s more to this because there could be more simple ways to have gone after Iran than to have this quagmire that we’re in and then to have the propaganda that they’re these evil people and the nuclear bomb. I mean, it just doesn’t feel genuine and authentic. It doesn’t feel authentic after watching what people did to people in Gaza. I mean, I just have to say that because I have to be authentic with what I’m seeing and what people are saying.

Well, you can’t. I’m a big believer in analyzing a big situation. Go down to the basic fundamentals of the situation and never mind the blather, never mind the propaganda, never mind all the distortion. What are the basic fundamentals of the situation? And that is this, that Iran simply cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. Netanyahu made the point that look what they’re doing to the neighbors right now, which is conventional weapons. They’re bombing everybody in every direction. If they’re Oman and Egypt and everybody, imagine what they’d be doing if they had nuclear weapons. As a normal person, both normal people in the vast majority of the people in the world, normal and rational, they would say, well, they would just, you talk with them, you reason with them, you bargain with them, you work something out.

Well, that’s what. Yeah, well, I mean, well, people look at the United States and go, yeah, look what happens when they have all this power and all this military might. They go on bomb everybody everywhere and they don’t bother with no negotiations like we did in Ukraine. We didn’t bother with negotiations. There was plenty of evidence there where they simply did not negotiate because I was covering it in detail. Then we may disagree on something like this. We might. That’s fine. I’m okay with disagreements. That’s what this is over here. That’s why we’re here. Yep. The administration would love nothing better than to negotiate a peace deal over the straight moves completely and put the whole thing behind us and march on from there.

Why don’t we do that because we’re dealing with radicals, we’re dealing with fanatics. We’re dealing with people willing to die for their netted cost. Way back. Remember David Koresh, way back in Waco and back about 30 years ago, he had a lot of his followers there and the FBI thought he was just a common criminal, so on and so forth. He’s going to surrender. He just wants money. No, he wanted to go up and a flame of glory. He wanted to go up with a great big conflagration. And there is, there is some really, that stuff that when you dig into it, there’s some pretty big question marks with that situation.

But I, I, I, that’s, we shouldn’t dive into, into that as much. But what would our country do if we bombed, if one of our schools with all of our children were killed? How, how fanatical would we get? I mean, would we turn into fanatics if that’s the best? That’s the position that the Israelis are in. Yeah. 1200 of their people, children, babies cooked, women mutilated. And so then we went and killed 15,000 of their children and babies. I mean, at what point is it that, that we are no better than them? And when they, and they, and, and using Israel, that really bothers me a lot because October 7th, they stood down for seven hours and did nothing.

And then after that happened, they blamed everybody else. There was no reason for them to step down and do nothing and then say, oh, we’re, we’re poor, us. It’s like, where were you to protect your people? They made a big mistake. They did make a big mistake. But then they turn around after they made that big mistake and then killed 15,000 or more other children who were innocent because of their 1200 innocent people. Everybody has blood on their hands at this point. Nobody, nobody feels sorry for Israel after they do that. After you can’t say, oh, poor our babies.

Yeah, I do. That’s horrible. Who wants their. But then they turn around and slaughter a whole bunch of innocent people and then claim that that’s okay because we were slaughtered. We can slaughter 15 to 20 times more because they hurt us after we stood down and did protect ourselves. And we have the biggest military might in the world. I mean, that’s what people are saying. And nobody believes them anymore except for a small segment of people. Let me go back to the basics. Okay, Israel. What does Israel want? They want to be able to kill children.

They want to be able to attack the Arabs. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. What they want is that’s what they did. What they want is they want to have peace, they want to have hospitals. Well, then they need to do. Then they need to act in a civilized way. They didn’t act civilized. Hamas never started happening. Brutally murdered and. Yeah, but they brutal. Why now? If my children, 15,000 of my children, I wouldn’t stop attacking them either. They have to act like civilized human beings to be treated like civilized human beings. Okay, Hamas is going to continue to attack and attack and attack.

I would too, based on what they’re doing. Let me finish. Let me finish. Let me finish. These fanatics will continue to attack and attack and attack. But we’re just a fanatic. That’s the problem. Let me answer. Let me answer. Let me answer. The only thing to do is to go in there and pull them out by the roots. Because as long as they are there, as long as they are there, they will continue to attack. Israel, they will continue to attack. But I don’t blame them if they are treated the way they’re treated. And because you can’t tell who the fanatic is.

They started the first place. They were the ones that started the war. And they’re going to continue the war. They’re going to continue the war unless you defeat them. I’m not sure if that’s true because they stood down for six hours. They funded Hamas. They knew that this operation was going to happen. And then they turned around and did the Hannibal elective too. And they put all the. So I don’t know what’s true or not. All I can say is from an outsider perspective, they look like lunatics too. Wait a minute. Okay, okay. The Israel looks like lunatics.

Let me ask you this basic question. Let me ask you a basic question. What would Iran do if it had nuclear weapons? Nothing. Is that what they would do? No, I don’t. States and. And Israel are talking about using tactical nukes. NATO’s use it. Talking about seriously using tactical nukes. I saw the research papers. Okay, listen. So there are segments that are seriously talking about that. Okay? If they had nuclear weapons, they have missiles that can reach Rome and missiles that can reach Paris. Yeah, that would be awful. That would be neighbors. If we truly believe that they would do that.

That’s awesome. Here are the basics. Here’s the fundamentals. Here are the basics. If those fanatics had nuclear weapons, they would. They would use. Now. North Korea, evil though they are irrational. China, evil. They are. They’re rational. Pakistan, irrational. These people that have weapons that they’re not, they’re not going to be using indiscriminately. Iran is more. I’m not. No, not. This is me asking a serious humble question. How do you know that Iran is more rational than North Korea? Based on the favor, the behavior. They have proxies. They have proxies in Hamas, also Hezbollah, also the Houthi rebels.

And they’re attacking people and killing people. And that’s worse than what Israel has did to Gaza over the years. They’re also attacking their neighbors. They’re also attacking their neighbors. They’re they doing that because they’re just wild crazy people who think that when they die they’re going to go to a mansion with 42 virgins. Is there any way that they can clean up Israel’s corrupt leadership, get a new president in place, hold those people responsible and then we can have less. We can have a civilized, sane ally in the region versus what we have right now. If Iran gets hold of nuclear weapons, there’s a very serious chance that they would use them against their neighbors.

There’s a very serious chance they would use them against Israel, against Jerusalem and against against the Middle east in general. And it would kill millions of people in Israel. What does Israel do? I guess they respond in kind. Now we have a nuclear war in the Middle east. That would be horrible. They cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons. So can we do two pronged thing? If that’s true, then okay. But can we also clean up Israel’s very, very corrupt environment to the point where they’re acting like a bunch of lunatics? They’re not trustworthy either. O to the point where the majority Israelis don’t even like their own government.

Israel is rational. They will never use nuclear weapons so long as nuclear weapons are not used against them. And I’ll even say it. North Korea, evil but rational. China, evil but rational. Pakistan, rational. Israel, irrational. They’re irrational. They’re not going to use nuclear weapons for no some foolish reason. The Iranians wouldn’t use it for very foolish reasons. How do we know that? How do we know they’ll use behavior? Wasted behavior. But China had has concentration camps with their Uyghurs and their organ harvesting and doing all sorts of crap. Sending out, sending in tons of drugs and fentanyl into the United States, doing all sorts of evil stuff.

How do you know they’re less capable of doing it than Iran? Because they’re evil. But they’re rational. They don’t want to have nuclear weapons. How do you know that? Based on their behavior? Because if they wanted to do that, they would have done it a long time ago. They’ve had nuclear weapons for decades. If they were, I would think that Iran could have nuclear weapons decades ago too if they wanted to. No, no. Why, that doesn’t make sense. We’ve been blocking it, the yellow cake and that sort of thing. We’ve been blocking it so that they don’t get nuclear weapons.

We look at these fanatical people wanting to die for their cause again. They’ve had like 48 of the leaders killed and they’re still marching ahead doing their following their fanaticism, following their nefarious purposes. They’re in special category based on their behavior. Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthi rebels. They’re willing to die for their cause. They want to destroy Israel. Death to America. Death to Israel. If those fanatical people had nuclear weapons, there’s no greater nightmare on earth. Can you imagine if they put their nuclear tips, warheads, they put them on missiles and send it to Rome or to Paris or to London.

They have inter range missiles that can reach those cities. But if you imagine them, if they did that and they’ll say, oh well, they would never do that. Yes they would. They’re that kind of people. The people in Europe aren’t really against, they’re, they’re not happy about a lot of the, what’s going on in Israel either. So you don’t, the, the allies are in a very weird situation where the majority of the allies don’t support Israel anymore, including the countries you just listed. We’re not very, yeah, Israel is, is not popular. That kind of is beside the point.

If going on to the basics of the situation, if Iran had nuclear weapons, they can put those nuclear weapons on interage missiles. They could send them to Rome, they could send them to Paris. And don’t say, oh, those reasonable people would never do that. They’re not reasonable people. They’re fanatical people and they’ve proven they’re fanatical by all that they’ve done over the last 20, 30, 40 years with their fanatics, with their Houthi rebels, with the Hamas and so on and so forth. They are fanatics willing to die for their cause and they’re willing to take the world down with.

Do you think that there could be a two prong approach for cleaning this, the Middle east up, Clean up both Iran and Israel? Because I, I see both sides as a problem. I, I don’t think, I mean I, I really do. I, I think that we’re sitting in a situation where Both are lunatics. That’s what it looks like to me, based on the behavior that I saw. No, I don’t think they’re both the fanaticals of Israel wants nothing but peace. They would like nothing, but that’s not how they behave. That’s not their actions and their motives.

That’s not what they’ve written. That’s attacked. Not necessarily because they sat there and shot Gazins while they’re just waiting to get food. They shot the kids. I saw the footage. I saw the, the. The serious journalists have come onto my program talking about what they’ve done. So there’s lunatics there too. They need to get cleaned up. I. Why? Because they’re not equal people. They’re not human beings like they are. They’re better human beings than the Arabs are. I mean, that’s what the rest of the world is looking at going. The rational Israel, by the way, is very important.

I don’t see that as rational. I’m not sure it happened that way. There’s a report saying that Israel wants nothing. They would love nothing more. Well, then they need to speak and act that way, because that’s not how they’ve been acting. And the way they’ve been treating people, they want nothing more than to just be left alone and to prosper. If they did not have the attack that’s surrounding them and they had to spend so many resources defending themselves, they would forage like you would never believe. Brilliant, highly technical people. They would. It would forage. They became even wealthier than they already are.

They would do very, very well. They told me, left, left alone. But the other Arab states say they don’t have a right to exist when death to Israel, death to the United States. According to the Iranians, we don’t have a right to exist. They’re not normal people. I think you’re being naive. Excuse me for saying it, but I think you’re being very naive. People hear me talk so much about how you need protein to build muscle, especially as you’re losing weight. With all the people on GLP1s where your hair needs protein too. So many people are losing and thinning hair brittle dry.

For many people, it’s because their hair is lacking protein too. And most shampoos on the shelf are not helping in that matter. They’re filled with chemicals. They’re harsh on your hair, they’re hard on your scalp where you get so much of your nutrition. That’s your Hydrolift volumizing shampoo from Purants comes in Hydralift is built with wheat protein that gets into your hair follicles and strengthens them from the inside out. That’s how you turn weak, brittle hair that comes out in the, you know, clumps into your drain. You can get them, you can get it to be much fuller, thicker and stronger when you feed your scalp and your hair with what it means.

It also has betaine from sugar beets, which pulls water into every strand. If you want to try this great shampoo, go to purance.com now you can get the HydroLift shampoo for 35% off using the code Sarah. So they’re good for your body and they’re good for the environment. Remember to use a coupon code Sarah to save 35% off your entire order. I, I, I, I think that there’s a, almost a cult like support for Israel.

And they can’t, we can’t. We’ll defend them at all costs. And they’ve tied it into a religious thing that we’re not good Christians unless we support the state of. So anything that Israel does, we have to support. And I’m not, I’m not saying that we shouldn’t defend ourselves against Iran. I just think that we’re being naive to think that we aren’t dealing with two prongs of a problem and that, I mean, look what the Epstein case was, which is supposedly Mossad and probably CIA operation. I just think that we are over our heads with a situation that puts us in, in bed with an ally that doesn’t have our best interests in mind.

They’re coming out from a different direction, talking about the interest of the United States. What’s happening there, by the way? Summarize the situation there in the, in the Strait of Hormuz. We are now having enough, enough oil coming through the strait escorted by the United States Navy. That’s equal to the amount of oil that was coming through before the war began. Okay, that’s great. That’s one step, which is a very good step in the right direction. What does the United States want? We want not peace also. Okay, and when you look beyond that, what is it that Iran wants? They want to have a nuclear weapon and they don’t want to lose.

But they’re getting strangled to death because of Scott Bessett’s economic program has cut them off from transactions through their international banking system. They cannot get payments. They cannot make payments. They Cannot get goods coming in. They cannot sell their oil blockade. They’re being strangled to death. Does our military, and that’s a good thing to look at now, does our military corporations need war to continue? Can we repurpose them in directions that doesn’t? So their lobbyists aren’t always trying to get us to get into war so that their corporations can maintain. Because if they don’t sell their bombs or weapons, they don’t have a lot of purchasing going on, then they aren’t going to stay in existence.

So how do we repurpose them so their lobbyists don’t have zealots going out convincing politicians that we need to maintain this war stance all the time? Time. Well, of course, it was Eisenhower, General Eisenhower, who warned us against the military industrial complex. There’s a makers of weapons, planes and bombs, et cetera, making billions of dollars and they want to encourage that kind of expenditure. The military wants to. In the military used to call it billion empire. They want to build up their empire also and their power also, et cetera, et cetera. So you do make a point.

That’s been a problem in the past, but that’s not the key issue here. Excuse me. He’s getting over a core. So the key issue is we cannot allow those fanatics to have a nuclear weapon. But I think we. I see light at the end of the tunnel. I think what bombs have not done strangulation of the economy is starting to do. They can’t pay their military, they can’t pay their soldiers, they can’t pay their police. Their inflation is just crazy, out of control 300%. And by strangling them economically step by step by step that I think we may be close to reaching our goal, which is open straight to Sar famous, which is already mostly open anyway, bringing them under control, getting them to agree not to develop a nuclear weapon.

And we may actually bring it together in a successful conclusion, not necessarily for the benefit of Israel, although they will benefit as well, but for the benefit of the United States. The whole thing can have closure. Who put the damn thing behind us? That’s a serious. I’ve had some Iranians on my show who wants to want democracy in Iran or like, you know, they want freedom for their people and they want it to happen from within. Do the Iranian people have the ability to rise up and take their country back for the freedom of their own people? Or is that, I mean, because we can’t go around.

We, we should have learned history by now. We can’t force that kind of culture onto others that aren’t ready for it. Well, they say that 70, 75%, maybe as many as 80%, the Iranian people would vote for democracy and free enterprise and what the west has if they had the opportunity. But they don’t have the opportunity when they go into the streets, try to protest their machine gun down or their capture in their homes, they’re drugged off to prisons or when they have their eyes removed and they’re tortured to death. This regime has killed tens of thousands of its own people.

And they don’t have the ability at this point to rise up and overthrow the men under arms. They don’t have the ability to rise up and overthrow that government. Now it’d be a very expensive thing if the United States were to invade Iran the way we did Iraq, okay? At the cost of hundreds of people being killed, our own people being killed, and billions of dollars, big ugly, messy operation which we do not want to do avoid at all cost. I think we’ll fail. Because what happens is when I’ve looked at the psychology of the people that are there, even though they want freedom and democracy, as soon as we invade them or they see a squ pool of children being bombed, they might not like their government, but it’s their government and they align with their government right away because they see this invader and these people that are hurting us and they end up aligning with them.

That’s what I think the psychology is behind that. Well, I’m told, I was told by an Iranian I don’t know personally, of course, that he said that situation in Iran is very different than the situation in Iraq. So again, 75% of the people in Iran would love to have democracy, freedom and freedom of speech, etc. Etc. But they don’t have the power to do it. They don’t have the guns. And so. But if you were to invade. I’m not proposing we invade bloody ugly situations. It wouldn’t be good. It’d be ugly. Even if you’re successful, here’s all these young, young men coming home in body bags.

It’s just not worth the price. So now we don’t really necessarily need to have war anymore with in the same methods because of drones and because of the high tech warfare. I think it’s really changed now. I think people imagine all this, this bloody warfare, but we can do warfare differently, correct? Well, the good example is of course in the war between Ukraine and Russia and the Ukrainians doing remarkably well. They’re very, very advanced when it comes to the drones. And to their missile technology. Russia is actually losing that war. Much larger country, but they have like 25,000 people a month being killed.

Five, 80% of them are Russians. The Russians are just taking, paying a horrible, horrible death toll. Now know, why is it that. My understanding is that. Hold on, let me finish clarify some. My understanding is that the Ukrainians have lost a whole generation of men and they are desperately, they’re really in desperate situation. So the Russians are actually being, holding off and being patient because they could bomb them to oblivion and have it. That’s what I’ve been told. So I’m hearing a different, hearing different intel. They say that now, of course, Russia is much, much bigger, of course than Ukraine, so they can sustain a lot more casualties.

But they have lost 500,000 young men, mostly young men. 500,000. Another 900,000 have been injured. A massive, massive death hill in Vietnam. We lost something like 35 or 40,000 killed over like, it’s just awful how many people are dying. But Ukraine has lost an entire generation. Yeah, they have. Percentage wise, though, five times as many Russians have been killed every month as are Ukrainians. And the Ukrainians are becoming very advanced with the drones and with their missiles and their technology. And Russia is not winning the war. Now I think if Russia had a constituency of some kind other than just Putin, if they had, of course, freedom, if they had democracy, if they had other forces, Putin would have been ousted a long time ago and the war had been ended, never started in the first place.

It would have been ended over three years ago. But because he has his death squads, he has a tight grip on the country. He eliminated all of the oligarchs, anybody who is powerful in the country, who could be a possible rival. He says death squads go by and kill them, throw them. It’s called something called defenestration, which is kind of almost a comical verb, something being thrown out of a window, which is not very comical. But people that commit suicide and jump out of a hospital window six stories up, they committed suicide. No, they weren’t. They were thrown out.

That’s what his, that’s why he’s able to keep power, because he has death squads that just kill people. They could possibly stand in his way, very similar internal to their, their country. They, the, the, his constituents want him to go and just obliterate, obliterate Ukraine, just get it done. And he’s holding back and that, that there is a growing anger inside that country for him, not just, just taking him out. So he’s actually being restrained and if, if they let him loose, if he lets loose, who’s restraining him? Who’s restraining him? I think he’s restraining himself somehow because, because, because internal politics are such that.

Well, he probably doesn’t want the retaliation of NATO. He doesn’t want World War iii. But the inside, his, the politics inside Russia, there’s the big growing group that want him to just end the Ukraine war and bomb the hell out of Ukraine. And he’s not doing that. No, no. I think now if he were to invade a NATO country, if you were to invade Poland or the Balkans, yes, that would incur the wrath of NATO. That’s why the visit from the CIA director to Russia saying, do not cross the line, do not attack a NATO country or we will come after you with a vengeance.

So they would be restrained in that category. But in the internal politics restraining him, there are no internal politics. Any kind of opposition leader, he’s gone within three or four days on the street. There’s internal politics in Russia. Well, not much because if they do, they’re told or they end up dead. And that’s no exaggeration. Any kind of opposition leader is dead just in a few days. They shot in the street or something like that. He has a complete control of his country. He is a fanatic. He’s very similar to Stalin and his. That’s a whole nother story.

I don’t know if that’s true because I don’t see. That’s not true of how many, many people Stalin killed compared to him. That’s not a true comparison. And the number of people that they’re jailing for social media posts are. UK has 20 times the amount of people that they’re jailing. Germany has 20 times. It’s not so. I don’t, I don’t see Stalin type behavior in Russia. I don’t. I think that’s an extreme comparison. I think that’s a fair comparison and I think it’s very much a good comparison with Stalin. He is that Putin is an evil man.

And why is he invading Ukraine? Why? There’s no justification. The Ukrainians don’t want to be invaded. They don’t want to be part of Russia. They’re fighting young men dying in the streets and blood in the streets to keep from being taken over by. From Russia. So what’s the purpose? What’s the justification for the war? Go in there, bomb. Hell, you should be bombing them in the first place. Just let them have their independence like they want. Just like the United States got its independence well, that’s. Well, maybe that the majority of the people that they’re fighting over want to.

Want to go to Russia. And the Ukrainians killed most of 15,000 people. And the racism that they had against the people that want to join Russia, Russia is immense. So that’s. And then the first thing they did is kick out the journalists. So there isn’t democracy in Ukraine. And Ukraine was the most corrupt country in the entire eu in that whole region. It was very corrupt. It’s very corrupt. However, they’ve proven that they don’t want to be part of Russia because they had their sons and daughters out there dying in the streets fighting against Russia, defending themselves against Russia.

If you had a. But they were forced to. No, if you have. If you had an election in Ukraine, do we join the Russia and in the war or not? 85, 90% of the people would vote against. You know that. Because when they did. When they did do a vote on whether that one region they’re fighting over voted and they wanted to go back to Russia. Well, a lot of Russians have infiltrated that particular section there. But the overall Ukrainians, 85, 90% will say, no, we don’t be taken over by Russia. Well, the other areas. The other areas don’t.

But that area did. The one that they’re fighting over. There are a lot of Russians that have been infiltrated into that particular region. They may skew the vote. It’s more complicated. Okay. Yeah. I mean, war is fog. War. Yeah. The Ukrainians do not want to be part of Russia. They’re willing to die and have their sons die and their daughters die to defend themselves, their independence, and to avoid that. You have an evil man. Man in Putin. You have an evil man, of course, in Stalin. I think they’re a great numbers. Not the same. Numbers are not the same.

Not even close to the same. Maybe the characters, but the actions aren’t. Aren’t the same. Now, Zelensky is kind of a weirdo. I mean, he was a comedian. He was. He would be up on stage in heels and tights and everything else. Two years later, he’s the president of the country, which is a very weird development. And he also suddenly, you know, redefined his religion overnight. There’s a lot of weird things about Zelensky. Very intelligent man. Very intelligent man who’s been successful. But the answer is, as Trump keeps pushing, let’s sit down and negotiate and come to a reasonable peace.

Now, if you were to accept the existing borders right now. Okay. Of course the Russians have been pushed back. But if you accept the existing borders, which it means that Russia did not win the war. War, okay, then work could be over with. But Putin does not want failure. He does not want to be defeated and be frustrated not being able to conquer Ukraine. So his ego, that’s a big part of it, does not want to surrender, does not want to give up. He doesn’t care how many hundreds of thousands of his people, 500,000 dead now so far, how many hundreds of thousands.

He could end the war like that. He could end the war like that. I think both sides are. I think the Ukrainians have lost an entire generation of people. People. And I, I don’t think either side seems. The Ukrainians certainly don’t show that they care about their people either. When that’s how many a whole generation of people are done that Germany is being asked to send the Ukrainian men back. And I just had a top AfD party leader on my show that said he’s, he’s in the head of the human rights. What do you call it? Chair of the human rights in their congress or their legislature.

And he said that I will not send the, the, the Ukrainian boys back to die. That was his perspective on it. So the world is very at odds with everything that’s going on, I don’t think. You know, and this is why I got to be honest, during Vietnam War, because you remember that girl that came out running the, the, the famous pitcher that turned the Vietnam War, the girl whose clothes were brought off? Yeah, right. Yeah, yeah. People saw the horror of war war firsthand. With the Internet age, everybody is seeing this over and over. Nobody people, average, normal people don’t want war anymore.

And they don’t see one side as the evil guy anymore because they see both. They can see both sides. And so when you only say one side is this evil tyrant, and then you see all the other stuff going on, nobody believes that anymore. People just don’t want war. There’s one thing about defending yourself. There’s another thing of when it starts to look like it’s opportunist war. And negotiations warm. Weren’t, weren’t really. I mean, Biden didn’t negotiate with the Ukraine war. You really didn’t see authentic, you know, true negotiations. From my perspective, I was covering it at that point going, where were the negotiations? People tried and they didn’t even.

They. Russia was trying and they didn’t try. That was under Biden. And you looked at Victoria Newland. They wanted war. Well, yes, we had several things going on there. The Vietnam War could have been skipped. That’s the word that I was in young platoon leader way back when. That war could have been skipped altogether. Also, the war in Iraq could have been skipped altogether. Now, I’ll make a point off a point here. A sidebar here is that in both cases I’m from Texas, I’m proud to be from Texas. But in both cases, the Vietnam War could have been avoided.

The Iraqi war with Iraq could be avoided against Saddam Hussein. Both cases we had a president from Texas, from the state of Texas. Okay, there’s a quotation. Here’s a recording of Whit Lyndon Johnson talking to Robert McEnroe. Bob, what I want you to do it has talking about Vietnam. Have some people put some plans together and go over there and whoop the hell out of my. He actually says that and go in there. Whoop the hell out of him. Yes sir, I will. See, that’s something that a Texan would say. The Alamo, San Jacinto, the whole thing.

I was raised in the whole Texas culture. But if we had a president who was from Vermont or from North Dakota or from Oregon or something like that, that those wars could have been skipped. That’s a whole separate issue. This issue right here, the Iranians having a nuclear weapon. I cannot emphasize how horrible and nightmarish that would be. Now, you and I fought against both are reasonable, logical people. And if we’re in their position, we wouldn’t want nuclear weapons either. We wouldn’t want war either. They’re not reasonable, logical people based on their behavior. They are fanatical addicts willing to die themselves, willing to die having their sons die for their cause.

They are in a special category. Those people cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon because they would use it. They would use it against the Israelis, first of all. Is it against their neighbors as well? And might use it against Rome. They have missiles like I said, who could reach Rome and reach Paris and reach London. They cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons. That’s the key issue right there more than anything else. People know that I really support the next generation GLP1s and peptides. Why can’t in the Ukraine area, for example, why can’t we just give that region to Russia? Because the people there seem to want it and it would just end the war all together.

We just be done. Well, yeah, if Putin willing to accept. Putin willing to accept. Has that been negotiate? Because I don’t see any negotiation terms where that was even offered. He would not accept that if you say, gave him that one section and negotiated that. And how do you know that was that offer? Because, because, because he’s turned him down. Whenever they go to the table and try to discuss what you have, he, he will say. And there’s evidence of that. Yeah, his, his proposal is he wants the full conquering of Ukraine and he’s not willing to talk about anything else yet.

He’ll put on a show. Oh, we need to talk. We need to talk. They come down to the table, he’s insisting on conquering all of Ukraine. If he just satisfied with that one section, he probably would have given it to him a long time ago. And there’s evidence of that, that that was offered. And he, he wants the entire region. He wants the entire region. See, this is the, the fog of war where I could get somebody just like you to come on and tell you that’s exactly not true and that not, you know, somebody who’s articulate, well spoken, who will say the exact opposite of you.

Okay, that’s the problem. I mean that’s what the, that’s the reality we’re living in. And so we, if, if we could have ended the war in Ukraine just by giving away, I think it’s the Bandas region, just give away that, that one region, we’d have done it a long time ago and I think Zelensky would have done it a long time ago. Have NATO guarantee those borders, Give that one section away. Way we’ll take it. That’s not what’s being offered. Again, we’re talking about somebody interesting. So Putin wants the entire region is what you’re claiming. And other people are claiming that, that if they would have just given that one region, it would have been fine.

It would have been over a long time ago. That’s. That’s the disagreement there on what’s true or not. Okay, go ahead. You can do. You can do the research. Whenever they sit down with Russia, they try to negotiate terms for a peace agreement. Agreement. It come up against this brick wall. He wants the entire damn country. And even if he accepted, okay, I’ll accept two thirds of it. He was. He would take over the other one third first chance that he got. And he would go into the. To Estonia, Lithuania and Lithuania. If he, if he had, if he thought he could get away with it, he’d go into Poland.

If he thought he could get away with it, he’d just keep going. You think, oh, he was like, yeah, the same kind of mentality as Stalin did, as I say the words, as Russia, as Hitler. But he’s never done that before. So you’re just assuming that based on. Didn’t have the power to do it right now because NATO would stop him. Okay. If Data weren’t there blocking his way. United States and NATO there blocking his way, he would have done it a long time ago. It’s only because he can’t, not because he wouldn’t want to. So we still.

He’s not a nice person. There’s a lot of not nice people in this world. Otherwise we would be having this conversation. He’s really not nice. He is. Endeavor says especially category are really not nice. So do you think that we are at a little bit of a, you know, it hurts us because we have a president every four years and the countries are like, the president switched out of four years. We can’t trust what they say because the next president comes in and does a 180 and every. You just can’t trust the United States. Do you think that puts us at a disadvantage? Advantage? Well, if it weren’t for the United States, Germany would have won World War I.

They would have won World War II. No, but I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about right now. Does that put us at a disadvantage? The United States being what, corrupt or what. I understand what you mean. My question was, is that Every four years we have a different president and all the. And the presidents go 180 in a different direction. And the countries can’t trust, you know, treaties or deals that we put together with them because the next president comes in, erases it and does something else. How does that. Do you think that puts us at a disadvantage? Well, there’s the old quotation from Winston Churchill that democracy is the very worst kind of government, except for all of the others.

We have to balance that. We have the Democrats, we have the Republicans. It’s a checks and balances system. I guess the dictatorship is nice and clean in that you have one man saying it’s going to be this way, and if you don’t, you end up in prison. But democracy is messy, but it is the most successful at making its people happy. And when it has a free enterprise along with it, the most successful at creating jobs and prosperity. If the free enterprise is there, absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Now, of course, there’s a whole different. There’s a whole great big different subject, but there’s never been an example of socialism working.

China was socialistic, and then beginning in the 1990s, they saw how successful Hong Kong was. Was. And they were taking over Hong Kong. They became a kind of a really. Technically speaking, it’s more of a. I agree with you. Yeah, A fascist. They mix in an awful lot of free enterprise and off they went. Same thing with Russia. They were communism. It wasn’t until they allowed the oligarchs and other people to become wealthy and grow and prosper. That is true in China. You are right in China. I was in China in 2019 and they were, were purposely trying to have more of a free market and, and change.

And they understood that that wasn’t important. Now when we look at influencers, how much? I’m not paid by anyone, as you can tell, because I’m, I’m. You might think I’m paid by somebody else. I’m really not. I’m. I think I’m trying to be fair and at least having this conversation. But there are a lot of influencers, especially the big ones ones and even a lot of the smaller ones, who are paid by foreign countries and by different factions. How much money is flowing out of the Middle east into influencers and the propaganda that we’re seeing, I don’t know.

I suspect it’s quite a bit. And he is on both sides of George Soros and just one side and others like him. And you have, of course, the people and you have Elon Musk and Others on the other side side. So fortunately there’s money coming from both sides and money doesn’t necessarily win elections. Abdul El Said was outspent nine to one and he still managed to squeak out a victory there in, in Michigan. So it’s money doesn’t necessarily win. But the influences have a very powerful influen influence literally on persuasive influence on the outcome of elections.

So do you think people are starting to tune out the obvious ones who are paid off because I think people are getting it or are we still early in our maturity because the Internet is very obviously manipulated? Are people starting to mature to that or do you think that it’s in full flown blown, they’re just completely manipulated or a combination? Well, it’s a good thing. The whole business about the system of checks and balances. It exists in many different ways. And you have liberal influence influences, you have conservative influencers and they kind of balance each, tend to balance each other out.

It’s not always that clean and that neat. We have a press that you may be sympathetic with that is heavily tilted towards the left. Some people say that the American population voting is tilted about 4 or 5, 6 points to the left because of the mainstream media. Of course you have Fox News trying to do its part to balance things out. So as long as you have competing forces, forces and voters are not stupid. They see what’s going on and they’re willing to listen to both sides. So I think, I think hopefully it’s gonna, that balances itself out.

I think though my point about the Vietnam War, how they people saw the horrors of war firsthand and it turned against the war. I think people are seeing the horrors of war firsthand and they don’t like it. And I think that peace, people want peace. They don’t like this at all. And they want, they want the. They’re worried about money being put into wars for the sake of the horrors of war. No question about it. The Vietnam War, terrible, terrible war should have, could have been avoided. The people of South Vietnam would have been better off under a peaceful communism which would have probably switched over to democracy or not democracy to at least free enterprise the way China has.

They’re better off in that situation than the United States coming in and trying to flip it the other direction. There’s something, an old saying that the generals are always trying to fight the last war. They take the wisdom that worked the previous war and try to apply it to the current situation. So in Vietnam we’re saying well, well back in World War II, we did not nip it in the bud. The thing to do was to stop Hillary Munich, get in there and get early on and you keep this disaster taking place. That was not the lesson to be learned there in Vietnam.

And the lesson to be learned is just stay away from it. Just do a big firewall and separate it out. And see, look, they said, oh, it’s going to be a domino effect. It’s going to dominoes falling all the way to Paris. Well, nonsense sense we had that Thailand is a very strong country still standing. The dominoes would have stopped with the iron domino, I call it there in Thailand. Okay, so that lesson from World War II did not apply to Vietnam at all. It had thousands of people killed, I think to no purpose. So that’s, that’s the, I think that’s the situation there.

Okay, so where can people learn more about you? And I, I want to thank you for being calm and having this conversation. And because nobody has these conversations, they’re. They’re on one side of other. They all speak into a, into a vacuum and decides aren’t having these conversations. And people would rather hear what they want to hear instead of actually having people talk this out. So I appreciate you being a good, a good sport in this. We obviously don’t agree on different situations, but we both, I think, want, don’t want people dying in war and don’t want the United States in a bad situation.

I just think that the facts are so, so confused and things. So I want to thank you for being a good sport in this and having this conversation. I think that we need a lot more of these. Where can people follow you? Yes, please go to Tiny Blunders, Big Disasters dot com. Tiny Blunders, Big Disasters dot com. It’s my website. It’s like a Disney World for history buffs. Has a whole bunch of fun things there. We have a portrait gallery there with 29 personality penalties with a little bit of dirt on each one. We have also four free chapters.

We have the Book Traders and we have My Sizzle Reel. My Sizzle Reel there is very exciting to see. But go there. I do say so myself. It’s a fun place to visit. I have good friends. My old debate partner from college, way back when at Texas Tech, he was a NBC ABC commentator. He’s liberal and we disagree on everything. Another good friend, my fraternity brother and partner from years and years ago. He’s very liberal. I love that that you’re able to have these conversations. You were. We used to be able to have these conversations and not have a meltdown.

Yeah. They say that Tip o’ Neill and Ronald Reagan were good buddies. They would disagree completely about politics, but at the end of the day, they come over and have a couple of drinks. You just have a blast. Okay. So it was. That’s the way it should be. That kind of interchange, that kind of communication, I think is very good and very healthy. Thank you. And thank you for having that attitude. Because if all of us had that attitude, we’d be much better off. Right now. We’re so divided. We can’t. We need to start communicating. So thank you.

And your book is about all these little tiny blunders that. That change the course of history and. Exactly, exactly. Yes, that. Yeah, go ahead. So, yeah, there’s a tiny blunders. And it’s my old saying from coming south from Benjamin Franklin that from one of the names nail, the shoe was lost. For one of the shoe, the rider was lost. For want of the rider, the battle was lost. Wanted the battle, the empire was lost. The empire was lost. All for the want of a nail. That’s a nice old saying. But how often does that really happen? That a single tiny mistake caused an entire empire to collapse? It happens dozens and dozens and dozens of times.

You’ll be amazed. Roman Empire fell because somebody forgot to lock a gate. They’re constant. The noble. It’s an interesting story, but oh, my gosh. And Elon Musk, a little cartoon tweet and he was shows a soldier, cartoon soldier in his bed at night. The bubble up over his head. It was his thoughts. He’s thinking, did I remember to lock that gate yesterday? The answer is no, he didn’t remember. And that’s. The whole city fell in the Roman Empire, the last part of it fell for that reason. Well, that. Those are good stories. That’s good for people to understand.

Like you were saying, it’s a Disneyland for history buffs. So thank you so much much for joining the program.
