HATE CRIMES AGAINST JEWS REACHES RECORD LEVELS FOR THE 4TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Well, we’re going to show you and play for you a clip. Trump is taking heavy criticism because he’s asked college employees if they’re Jewish.

And this is kind of a misleading headline. And it could be accidental. I mean, there are limits on how many characters you could put in to a title in many outlets. But the purpose for them asking this is they wanted to know if you are Jewish or Israeli, have you been the victim of discrimination, harassment, violence? I don’t see anything wrong with that question because the federal government’s trying to determine what pressure can we bring to bear to get this stopped or to get the proper authorities at certain entities, whether they be a business, in this case, academia, a university.

Can we put pressure on authorities and their campus police enforcers to stop this crap? And we’re well aware this is happening, but how aware are you? This is absolutely phenomenal here. And I’m going to play this clip for you here. This is so disturbing. And right here in the headline, it said anti-Semitic incidences in 2024 has gone up 926% since 1979. First of all, point of disclaimer, I am not Jewish. So I’m not coming at this from a personal angle. I’m coming at this from an American angle and from the angle that we’re all created equal.

All right. That’s the angle I’m taking here. And this should never be allowed in any form. And I don’t care what your status is, your preferences are, the color of your skin, who you worship or don’t worship. You should never be the victim of discrimination under our system of laws. And this is supposed to be what sets us apart. These are in elemental rights that can’t be modified by government. Well, they’re being modified apparently by universities that participate through their negligence and these discriminations. Here we go. An alarming trend, anti-Semitic incidents across U.S.

shattering records for a fourth year in a row now. And the Anti-Defamation League is reporting incidents are up a staggering 926% since records began back in 1979. Shabbos Kastenbaum is a Harvard alumnus and joins us now. Shabbos, thank you very much for joining us. To what do you attribute this staggering rise? Sure. Well, thanks for having me. I mean, we know that Jews are only 2% of the United States population, but roughly 60% of religiously motivated hate crimes. I think it has to do with two things. One is the political indoctrination we’re seeing on our campuses.

And the other thing is the stunning lack of prosecution of criminals. So number one, on our campuses, we have political indoctrination that teaches young Americans that Jews have the misfortune of being mischaracterized as white. Whether it was four babies or 40,000 babies be headed on October 7th, it really doesn’t matter because as my classmates will tell you, resistance is justified when people are occupied. If you’re the victims of alleged oppression, you can do whatever it is you would like to rid yourself of that oppression. I think that’s what explains the anti-Semitic narratives.

And then certainly under the Biden administration, we had a stunning lack of prosecutions. People were not prosecuting crime. Lawbreakers, especially lawbreakers pertaining to anti-Semitism, were never held accountable for those actions. And if we really want to defeat this illness, this sickness in our country, we would make sure that anyone who violates the law, whether it’s anti-Semitism or other lawbreakers, they should be punished to the full extent of the law. And now as this White House targets federal funding that goes to some of these elite universities like Harvard, Caroline Levitt, who’s about to join us top of the hour, the White House president.

Yeah. Well, we lost the signal there, but let me just share this with you, ladies and gentlemen. This gentleman is correct, but wait, boy, is he articulate. What a great spokesperson he would be for any cause. I mean, he had the facts. One fact I just want to really emphasize here. Jewish people make up 2% of our population, yet they constitute 60% of ethnic or racially motivated hate crimes. That’s pretty bad. That’s pretty bad. I thought we fought a world war, and this is one of the things we supposedly corrected. The Nuremberg trials, if you know your history, this is unacceptable in the America I live in.

And like I said, by disclaimer, I am not Jewish, so I’m not coming at this from a personal angle, but I am coming at it from a humanitarian and American and legal angle. And what really baffles me is how these universities who’ve been identified clearly in the news, how they can sit by and let Jewish students be harassed and abused as they just try to walk to class, and some of them had to shelter in place to escape the abuse. If you’re a Jewish student in New York, for example, and people are upset about what happened in the Gaza Strip, you tell me, what does that person in New York have to do with that? Can anybody please explain that to me? Now, I am half German.

I’m the son on my father’s side of a German immigrant. Does that mean that I should be held accountable and abused for crimes against Jews in the Holocaust? I mean, this is how ridiculous this is. And what we also know that happened is a lot of this abuse is contrived. It’s contrived by external sources outside universities because it’s been discovered that we don’t know how many, but at least some of these people that have been involved in these hate crimes are bust in and paid. And this is what some people who managed to get themselves arrested in small numbers have said.

And this needs to stop. And what the Trump administration is attempting to do, and I don’t think they have a lot more leverage than this because if the crime doesn’t cross state lines, Trump can’t use the FBI or the DOJ. It becomes a local police matter. But what Trump can do is he can control the purse strings and say, we’re not going to give you federal money if you’re going to let this go on on your campus. And see, we’re not talking about an incident that was completely, well, let’s put it this way.

You couldn’t prevent it as a university, but then you have an obligation to investigate and prosecute after that. And that’s not happening. And that’s what the Trump administration is really upset about. And it’s what I support. And I don’t care. Take the term Jewish and take that out and put in anybody, Catholics, Mexicans, Blacks, Baptists, Episcopalians, Hindus. I don’t care what the name is. This is America, but it’s kind of funny because this is being championed by people on the left and they’re fighting against the defunding of universities that are allowing this to happen.

Get the use of the same people and their political endeavors say, we are the only people that stand for the rights of the minority. The Bible warns us in the end days, and I’m not saying this is the end days, but the Bible does warn us hypocrisy will be very bold in its presence. And we’re seeing that right now on these university campuses. I remember watching when the hearings took place in Congress, and I’m getting sick of hearings in Congress because they never follow up with action. But when they interviewed these presidents of places like Harvard and NYU and so forth, the extreme depraved indifference that these presidents of these universities showed towards the victims of these hate crimes.

I was stunned. I was in school, and this is a while now, and my undergrad days were at the University of Denver. If anyone would have done this, they would have, first of all, been charged and been indicted. They’d have gone to jail, and they certainly would have been expelled from the university. That would never have been allowed. Where did it all go so wrong? What about the rights of the individual? And talk about stereotyping. Stereotyping on an IQ spectrum is about as stupid as you get, because the similarities between people are minor compared to the individuality of the person.

And this is what our nation is based on. And if we allow this to go on, we have moved into a very dangerous era. Let me explain to you the logical conclusion of the path that some people in this country are on. If you will allow violence against people like Kristallnacht, if you know your history, the night of the broken glass, if you allow that as a nation, or if your local institutions encourage it by their inaction, then what’s next? What did we learn in the 1930s after Kristallnacht? It’s a good question, don’t you think? We need to speak with a unified voice.

We will protect the rights of all, regardless of their background, regardless of what they look like, regardless of their political persuasion, so long as they’re not actively trying to kill people and overthrow America. That’s a different matter. That’s a crime. But in just terms of legitimate political expression, you have the right to support who you want to support. And as abhorrent as it is to me, that includes Satanists. That’s been declared a long time ago as a religion. We actually have to protect the rights of these people too, because if someone’s rights aren’t protected, then nobody’s protected in the long run.
