Bridge of Truth – The Breaking of Nations Baiting Nazis and NIPS

In 1999, Pat Buchanan, in his speaking about an unnecessary war, stated, by Pearl Harbor, Hitler was overextended and blocked at the Channel and Atlantic by Royal Air Force and Navy and at Moscow and Leningrad by the Soviet Army.

By 1942, he was finished in Africa. The idea Hitler, with no surface navy or fleet of transport ships, no landing craft or seamen who had even served on a carrier, could construct in Africa or the Canary Islands ships to threaten the U.S. On the other side of an ocean, the U.S. and British navies had ruled since Trafalgar is a proposition too absurd to require rebuttal. There was much for the money cartel to gain from the Second Global War. War broke down borders, caused mass migrations, and gave rise to new countries. It promulgated diversity and undermined the racial structures of existing nations.

This benefit of war was essential for the creation of a global government. Race constituted the major component of nationalism. John Jay, co-author of the Federalist Papers, recognized this fact by claiming in 1787, two years before the drafting of the Constitution, that America was a band of brethren who shared a common language, faith, culture, and ancestry. He wrote, I have often taken notice that Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country to one united people. A people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in manners and customs, and who by their joint councils, arms and efforts, fighting side by side throughout a long and bloody war, have nobly established their general liberty and independence.

For the money cartel, any nation that sought to safeguard the purity of its race must be obliterated. Otherwise, the New World Order could not come into being. Economically, war produced other benefits for the cartel, including the floating of massive loans for armaments, the availability of the natural resources of vanquished countries, and the establishment of new central banks under the Bank of International Settlements. Since economic hegemony was at stake, it was essential to bring the United States into the European conflict. This task was formidable since America possessed no vital interest in the European War, and the American people remained isolationists, who opted to remain free from all foreign entanglements.

In 1940, a Gallup poll showed that 83% of Americans opposed any intervention in the war against Hitler. While offering public assurance that America would not become involved in the foreign war, Roosevelt was privately corresponding with Churchill to concoct a means to drag America into the war. The secret dispatches between the two leaders were discovered by Tyler Kent, a code clerk at the American Embassy in London. Kent tried to smuggle these dispatches out of the embassy in order to warn the American people, but he was caught and confined to a British prison for the remainder of the war.

After the war, he was deported to the United States, where he became the subject of ongoing FBI investigations. Harry Hopkins, Roosevelt’s closest advisor, met with Churchill at 10 Downing Street in January 1941 to offer this assurance. I come here to see how we can defeat that fellow Hitler. The President is determined that we shall win the war together. Make no mistake about it. He has sent me here to tell you that at all costs, and by all means, he will carry you through, no matter what happens. Following the Hopkins visit, American and British military began to hold secret meetings to concoct ways to bring the United States into the war.

Robert Sherwood, FDR’s biographer and admirer, said, if the isolationists had known the full extent of the secret alliance between the United States and Britain, their demands for the President’s impeachment would have rumbled like thunder through the land. An incident had to be staged that was even more horrible than the sinking of the Lusitania. Thus, the provocation began. At the instigation of the Century Group and the War and Peace Studies Project, both CFR organizations, the Roosevelt administration shipped 50 destroyers to Great Britain to beef up the British fleet. He also sent millions of rounds of ammunition to England on freighters that sailed directly into the war zone.

To add to the antagonism, FDR ordered the closing of all German consulates so that German officials would have no means of protesting the ongoing aid to Britain. In a final attempt to instigate a German attack, Roosevelt ordered the occupation of Iceland and used this strategic location to deploy depth charges against German U-boats. But Hitler refused to retaliate, knowing that America’s entry in the war would up the scales against him. On October 27, 1941, FDR announced the following to the nation in his Navy Day address. Hitler has often protested that his plans for conquest do not extend across the Atlantic Ocean.

I have in my possession a secret map made in Germany by Hitler’s government. It is a map of South America as Hitler proposes to reorganize it. The geographical experts of Britain, however, have ruthlessly obliterated all the existing boundary lines bringing the whole continent under their domination. This map makes clear the Nazi design not only against South America, but against the United States as well. The President claimed he had another secret, terrifying document from Hitler’s government in his possession. It is, he said, a plan to abolish all existing religions, Protestant, Catholic, Mohammedan, Hindu, Buddhist, and Jewish alike.

In the place of the churches of our civilization, there is to be set up an international Nazi church. In the place of the Bible, the words of Mein Kampf will be imposed and enforced as holy writ. And in place of the cross of Christ will be put two symbols, the swastika and the naked sword. A god of blood and iron will take place of the god of love and mercy. All those who tuned into this address were horrified. Few knew that the documents were forgeries by William Stevenson and other British agents in New York who were operating under orders from Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

FDR concluded his address by describing two German submarine attacks on U.S. destroyers Greer and Kearney, the latter of which had been torpedoed with a loss of 11 American lives. We have wished to avoid shooting, the President said, but the shooting has started and history has recorded who fired the first shot. The truth was the two destroyers had been tracking German subs for British planes by dropping depth charges. The German government categorically rejected FDR’s accusations. The purported secret documents it declared in an official statement were forgeries of the crudest and most brazen kind.

Furthermore, the statement maintained the allegations of a conquest of South America by Germany and an elimination of the religions of the churches in the world and their replacement by a national socialist church are so nonsensical and absurd that it is superfluous for the right government to discuss them. In a separate statement, German propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels said that Roosevelt’s absurd accusations were part of a grand swindle designed to whip up American public opinion. The day after the address, a reporter at a press conference asked the President for a copy of the secret map document.

Roosevelt declined to release it, but insisted that the map had come from a source which undoubtedly reliable. Since Hitler refused to respond to the provocation, the Century Group and the War and Peace Studies Project, under the guidance of the House of Rockefeller, looked to Japan to mount an attack against the United States. The choice was prudent since Japan, on September 27, 1940, had signed the tripartite with Germany and Italy, which bound the three nations to the following terms. Article 1. Japan recognizes and respects the leadership of Germany and Italy in the establishment of a new order in Europe.

Article 2. Germany and Italy recognize and respect the leadership of Japan in the establishment of a new order to Greater East Asia. Article 3. Japan, Germany, and Italy agree to cooperate in their efforts on aforesaid lines. They further undertake to assist one another with all political, economic, and military means if one of the contracting powers is attacked by a power at present, not involved in the European War or in the Japanese-Chinese conflict. Article 4. With a view to implementing the present past joint technical commissions to be appointed by the respective governments of Japan, Germany, and Italy will meet without delay.

Article 5. Japan, Germany, and Italy affirm that the above agreement affects in no way the political status existing at present between each of the three contracting powers and Soviet Russia. Article 6. The present pact shall become valid immediately upon signature and shall remain in force 10 years from the date on which it becomes effective. In due time, before the expiration of said term, the high contracting parties shall, at the request of any one of them, enter into negotiations for its renewal. Thanks to this pact, America could gain entry into the European War by baiting the Japanese into launching an attack against a U.S.

territory such as Hawaii. Several weeks after the signing of the tripartite pact, Henry L. Stimson, FDR’s secretary of war and a CFR patriarch, met with the president and wrote the following words in his diary. We face the delicate question of the diplomatic fencing to be done, as to be sure Japan is put in the wrong and makes the first bad move. The question was how we should maneuver them, the Japanese, into the position of firing the first shot. The matter of positioning the Japanese to take the first shot was taken up by the War and Peace Studies Commission, which recommended the imposition of the crippling trade embargo on Japan.

In July 1941, FDR imposed a trade embargo on oil, rubber, scrap metal, and steel to Japan. The reason for this action, Roosevelt explained, was Japan’s occupation of French Indochina. No one questioned this action even though the French had permitted the occupation. The British government and the Dutch government in exile followed suit by placing their own oil embargo on Japan. As a result, Japan lost access to three-fourths of its overseas trade and 88% of its imported oil. More sanctions followed. FDR froze all of Japan’s financial assets in the United States and closed the Panama Canal to the Japanese shipping.

On July 31, 1941, Japan’s Foreign Minister Tejira Toyoda communicated to Kichisaburo Numura, Japan’s Ambassador to the United States, the following message. Commercial and economic relations between Japan and third countries led by England and the United States are gradually becoming so horribly strained that we cannot endure it much longer. Consequently, our empire, to save its very life, must take measures to secure the raw materials of the South Seas. By the fall of 1941, US military intelligence had broken the radio code that Tokyo used to communicate with its embassies. The decoded intercepts made the US War Department aware that Japanese spies in Hawaii were informing Tokyo of the locations of American warships ducked in Pearl Harbor and the suggested date of Sunday, December 7th, for an attack.

This information was passed on taught A. President, Secretary Stimson, and General George Marshall, the Army Chief of Staff. By December 6th, the War Department was aware that Japanese aircraft carriers had moved within 400 miles of Honolulu. Despite their awareness that an attack was imminent, neither FDR nor his War Department issued an alert to Admiral Husband Kimmel and General Walter C. Short, the leading US military commanders in Hawaii. Rather than making an attempt to save lives, Roosevelt and Marshall stripped Hawaii of most of its defenses immediately before the raid and allotted the island only one third of the surveillance planes necessary to detect incoming enemy movement.

The attack left 2,000 Americans dead and 18 naval vessels sunk or heavily damaged. The true perpetrators of the day of infamy were no in Japan but in Washington, D.C. Few presidents have contributed more to the demise of Uncle Sam than Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Thanks to his efforts, the self-reliant land of Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt, FDR’s distant cousin, would become a welfare state. Integral mats of national government would be placed in the hands of a global agency. An economic control of the country would be relinquished to the Bank of International Settlements, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank.

The good war was not so good. It resulted in the annihilation of tens of millions of innocent civilians by Allied and Axis forces, the rise of communism as a far greater threat than national socialism, the end of American isolationism, the expenditure of billions of US taxpayer dollars to rebuild Europe, the onset of covert operations, and the onset of a time when American soldiers would go to war under a foreign flag.
