And as you can remember Assad was bombing all of his people. He’s bombing the cities, he’s killing kids. The army, the Syrian army, was given a directive to shoot the young people in the hips so that they couldn’t walk or run. And of course it was just terrible what was happening, and it was all based out of Damascus. And he just kept bombing cities and killing people. The George Floyd riots definitely showed that the police can be quickly overwhelmed. Then the National Guard showed up, but even with the National Guard there, you look at Wisconsin, even there they still had lots of burning and looting and so forth and deaths that were going on.
There are so many Indian young girls missing, but nobody wants to talk about it too much. They get kidnapped, taken away. The cartels have moved in, their drugs and so on. And that’s the Blackfoot Reservation. And you go to the south, we have the Kalish tribe down there, south of Poulsen, Montana, you can pull it up. But they have a college, they have manufacturing and high tech, they have farms, they have businesses, and they’re doing great. But the vast majority from wheat gathering up do it so good. So we just think it’s time that these reservations become part of the American community.
He turned to me, Mike, and he says, why does America always seem to make its decisions looking through a political prison, rather than a reality prison? And I’m sitting back, my God, he’s right. Here’s the president of Egypt. And when you look at it, that’s what we do. We look through, other than Trump and his people, look through a political prison. You can’t solve anything looking through a political prison, because you’ve got parts in politics, you’ve got money and all of that. I just went back there, last year, I went to the Red Sea and I went to the pyramid, took my kids out there, we went around.
It was transformed. It’s like a beautiful second world country now, not perfect, of course. Roads are good traffic, clean, people are good. Back then it was like, it’s catchy, but now everyone seems to be good and happy, and the food is great. I had a great time there in Egypt. [tr:trw].
