Hello, my name is Paul, and I am the voiceover for a ministry provided to you by Jim Pughe at God as Government, called Your Daily Bread, taken from Christ’s teaching of the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6, verse 11. This is a daily devotion ministry, focused not only on uplifting Scripture, but Scripture that will grow your spiritual connection with Christ. We hope that you receive these devotions to uplift you, encourage you, but most importantly, advance your knowledge base of the Holy Scriptures. Today’s focused discussion will be on understanding the law of individualism and substitution.

Since we are pure consciousness energy, we have nothing to deal with but our own thoughts. Each of us, as individuals, is a focal point in the infinite consciousness or energy field in which we all live. We all use our mind, connected to the one mind source, in our own unique way. We have spoken to this point of our own unique basic thought patterns concerning the nature of life, or the nature of reality. When you combine this understanding with what you learned in the first law, that thought is the cause of everything we experience.

You will understand why each individual must also be living in his or her own unique world, in his or her own reality, based on his or her view of what reality is. What my reality is different from your reality, or the next person, and the next, and the next to every person living in this physical form. In essence, since thought is creative, whatever you think the world looks like, that’s what the world looks like to you. Quantum physics has demonstrated that we all live in and are a part of one massive field of energy.

Each individual is simply a focal point of consciousness within this field. Quantum physics also teaches us that all phenomena, be it living beings or so-called of the same energy. In other words, everything, you, me, our houses, our computers, our cars, the food we eat, everything, can be broken down into the same basic units or components called atoms. These atoms can be broken down even further into subatomic particles, which can be broken down into waves of energy. At this level of perception, all of creation is one vast field of energy, one vast unified whole.

What we experience as life is what pops out of this field because of the focus of our attention. Our thoughts can only be changed by replacing them with new thoughts. Old thought patterns with new thought patterns. We are thinking all the time, over ten thousand thoughts a day, at least. Being creators, we are constantly thinking, cannot stop the flow of thought just by willing it to be so. Something more is required to quiet our minds, such as meditation. It is the nature of the mind to think in fixed, habitual thought patterns, pictures and images from our past experiences.

If you begin observing your thought patterns, you will discover that certain types of events usually trigger certain thought patterns in you. And once your mind starts moving in a specific direction, it just seems to continue in that direction until something else pops up and gets your attention. This is why it is so difficult to tell yourself to stop thinking negatively. We know we cannot just tell ourselves to stop thinking negative thoughts. Our mind doesn’t work like that. We also know that the mind most often thinks in familiar patterns, and that negative thinking is just a poor mental habit, usually programmed into us during childhood.

Here is where the law of substitution goes to work for us. If we tell ourselves just to stop thinking negatively, what you’re really doing is focusing our attention on the matter, which means we are thinking about it even more. So it won’t help to say to ourselves, I must stop thinking negatively about this thing I am thinking about. But when we use the law of free will, combined with the law of focus, we can switch your thoughts to something else, to something completely different. We can replace the negative thought with a positive one.

Thank you for joining us in this exploration of understanding the law of individualism and substitution. Until next time, remember to keep the faith, stay strong, and continue to shine your light in the world. To hear these daily devotions of your daily bread, please log on to goddessgovernment.com. Goodbye, and may your faith always lead the way. [tr:trw].
