Summary

➡ The author has been using Rumble, a broadcasting platform, for two years and has gained over 8,000 followers. However, they feel frustrated because their work is not promoted as much as others with fewer followers. They’ve decided to focus their time and energy on other platforms and projects, like their TV show and podcasts, instead of Rumble. They appreciate Rumble and its community, but feel they are not one of the preferred users.

I just put my first Rumble broadcast up on the site. I haven’t done so in two weeks. I got an email from Rumble. Here’s the email I got, and I tried to email back, and of course, typical, there’s no one there to answer. It says, hey, the common sense show. You built a community of 8,113 followers. That’s over almost two years of trying. On Rumble who chose to hear from you. They’re ready for what you share next. When you post, your audience shows up. Every upload strengthens the connection and helps your channel grow. It doesn’t have to be complicated.

Just jump back in, hit upload. Here’s the bottom line. Last month on YouTube, I got 1.5 million views. I’m going on, we’re approaching, and we’ll be there probably some time in the fall. We’ll have a quarter of a million subscribers. The bottom line is, I haven’t been promoted more than one time because I interviewed someone who was a friend of an executive at Rumble. That’s the only time my work has ever been promoted. Yeah, I go in and I look at the numbers on Rumble with people who do get promoted, and their work gets shared. They have maybe a tenth of the following I do, and I’m not bragging, but I am telling you this is why I don’t do Rumble, and people ask me.

I put Catherine Albrecht’s interview up there. Probably a little dicey for the people over at YT, but I probably won’t put another one up there. There’s two years and 8,000. Hell, I had, I think it was three months ago, I had 15,000 subs or 12,000 subs in one month. So that’s why a lot of you asked me, why don’t you also post on Rumble? It’s about time and energy. I’ve got podcasts, I’ve got a TV show. I don’t have time to waste my time on platforms that never promote me, and they promote people with a lesser following.

I guess it’s just all who you know. So I just wanted you to know, that’s why I’m doing or not doing what’s been suggested. I appreciate Rumble’s position. They do have some good people on there that promote the things I believe in. I’m just not one of the preferred people. [tr:trw].
