But there is open source, and that’s estimated to be about 80% of all intelligence, meaning if you know where to look, you can find intel that’s really good. My skills in that area are okay. I don’t know anyone who has great skills in our business. You have to be a little lucky.

Sometimes people have to point the way. And that’s most often how I find it. Now, the other type of intelligence is classified. Now, there are low-level classifications that will get you a slap on the wrist if you know this information and put it out. But there is serious classification. If it’s real bad, you better have a good place to hide. If it’s just bad, they’ll prosecute you. Oh, you don’t think that’s true? How many people have been on the run? How many people have tried to hide out in embassies because they let data out because they were given privileged information? Do you think that Julian Assange had all that stuff on his own? Of course, he didn’t.

You know what they did? Somebody, people, feeding him information, he would vet it, and he’d release it. And he pissed off the wrong people. He’s lucky he’s not dead.
