THE TRUMP-ZELENSKY MINERAL DEAL COULD END THE WAR IN UKRAINE

A brief report here, because we don’t have a lot of details yet. Some people are giving me details, and it’s not really checking out the way that I’ve been told. But I do agree, it’s not everything that we would want. But I think it’s the best we’re going to do. So you’re saying, well, what does that mean? Ukraine, unbelievable wheat, that’s not part of this deal, and unbelievable wheat.

Beautiful mineral wealth. Lithium, gold, silver. Anything you can name, they seem to have. It’s an enormously rich area. No wonder Putin wants it. Well, we have poured in three quarters of a trillion dollars to Ukraine. We could not afford to do that. But that didn’t stop the Biden administration from committing economic suicide. It was stupid. Because we should have handled this with diplomacy right from the very beginning. And do I think we should have helped Ukraine? I do. But you can’t help those that won’t help themselves. Zelensky, you know, like I said, he’s had opportunities here.

And when we had the previous Prime Minister of Israel, he had negotiated a ceasefire. The only thing they had to be guaranteed was Zelensky couldn’t be touched. And then that fell apart because our administration told him, Zelensky, better hope. You better hope it holds. Because if it doesn’t, we’re not going to help you. And it sure as heck that the Europeans can’t defend Ukraine. NATO is a shell unless we help them. But there’s been breakthrough. 50% of the minerals extracted will go to Ukraine for their betterment and reconstruction. And 50% will go to the United States for payment for what we sent them.

And our aid saved their country. Or I should say what’s left of their country. And now we’ve got a version of the Trump Marshall Plan. Marshall Plan, as you know, was the plan to rebuild Europe after World War Two, given to Chief of Staff Marshall, General Marshall. And this is basically what Trump is doing. The only thing is he’s saying, we ain’t paying for it. We’re going to help you. But we’re going to extract some of the wealth that we gave you in defending your country by helping ourselves to half of your minerals. I think it’s about the best we’re going to do.

Now, there’s something else. Excuse me, because I almost sneeze here. I think there’s something else that we need to be aware of. If we’re in there with mining operations, and this is a US endeavor, it really puts the onus on Putin never to attack again, because he’d be attacking the United States. And it’s not something that I’m hearing about in the mainstream media course of my surprise. No, they’re propagandists. They’re not intelligent. They just read a script for the purpose of controlling what we think. But to me, this is as obvious as the noses on our face.

If we’re in Ukraine, with contractors, and with a signed deal, Putin doesn’t dare attack, not unless he’s serious about going to war. And I think Trump knows this. And I think he’s forced the hand of Putin. Okay, it’s going to be ceasefire, and then a piece of agreement. And at the end of the day, they have a choice. I think this is a good move. I think it’s about the best we’re going to get. I think it’s a good first step towards permanent peace, which is what I want to see. I don’t want to see any more people die on either side.

And then I want to see a fair and equitable settlement. And I think Trump has laid the groundwork for that. But he’s getting no credit whatsoever. Had Biden acted decisively in the early days before the invasion started, but we knew it was coming, Putin wouldn’t have dared done it. And I’ll tell you what gave him the impetus to do it. The chicken bleeper way we pulled out of Afghanistan, I think, basically told Putin this is a weak administration. You know, Biden, or excuse me, Trump says, if I’d have been president, Ukraine would more would never have happened.

I think he’s probably right. It’s a good move. It’s the best we’re going to get for now. And we sure don’t want this to expand into World War Three. So although this deal, I’m sure we’re going to find has flaws in it. If it prevents World War Three, then it’s a very good deal. And President Trump deserves the credit. I’m Dave Hodges.
