Together, let’s take your power back with our host Peak Performance Breakthrough coach Kim Yer.

Well hello there my patriots in Freedom Fighters of California. This is the take your power back show where we the people are rising up to reclaim our God given power and restore our Golden State. I’m your host Peak Performance Master Coach Ken Yater and tonight we’re in round five of TAKE your power back. California Governor Face Off A prelude to the California Governor Showdown on November 8, 20202026 at Awaken Church in San Marcos, California. California is in crisis and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Over 180,000 of our neighbors are homeless. We see it all the time driving around in Southern California, Northern California, even in mid California, living in encampments while medium home prices in cities like Los Angeles surpassed 1 million.

Pricing out families. Crime is spiking. Violent crimes in Los Angeles jumped 12% last year and San Francisco’s streets feel like they’re war zones. Human trafficking plagues our state with thousands and thousands and thousands of victims, especially children exploited in the shadows. Governor Newsom’s gerrymandering scheme threatens fair elections. Aiming to flip congressional seats with a 200 million dollar special election that robs you and me, the taxpayer. Bills like AB 1955 let schools hide gender identity changes from parents and like AB 495 which we were all fighting over the past week, deceptively called the Family Prepared Preparedness Plan act strips parents of their rights allowing unvetted strangers to take custody of your children without consent.

Endangering our kids under the guise of compassion. Our roads, bridges, they’re crumbling. The high speed rail project is a $100 billion debacle and high energy costs among the nation’s worst burden families and businesses. Sanctuary state policies like SB54 shield criminals while ignoring law abiding citizens and excessive regulations drive jobs away, making life unaffordable for the hard working people of California. And there is still hope, you see. 2nd Chronicles 7:14 In God’s word the Bible declares if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways.

Then I will hear their voice. I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and will hear heal their land California. This is our call to action. And in that call to action, we the people unite, pray and take our God given power back to heal California. And tonight we are joined by a leader with courage to lead the vision to reform. Pastor, entrepreneur Dr. Chae Ahn. A husband, father and community builder running for governor in 2026. Born in South Korea, after the war, Che’s family came to America seeking freedom. For over 40 years, he fought for freedom.

For over 40 years he strengthened families and served communities fighting for others freedom. Leading over 160 churches in California and 800 nationwide with minist Reason 73 nations. Yes, I said that right. 73 nations. And having ministered and not one, not two, but 93 countries. A successful CEO, Che manages businesses and ministries with proven skill. He boldly sued Governor Newsom and won in the Supreme Court to keep churches open in California, provided aid to LA fire victims and has long fundraised and platformed conservative candidates. Che traveled nationwide to boost voter turnout for Trump in 2016 and was invited to pray for him at the White house before the 2024 election.

Now, now, now he’s ready to roll up his sleeves, fight for Californians and lead with bold vision and unwavering resolve. Let’s pop on over and hear a little bit from a video that you’re going to see in one of his conferences. Here we go. Unless God intervenes, we’re going down. And so the first thing I’m going to do when I’m governor, I’m going to call for a national day of prayer and fasting. I’m going to call all of those to come together, humble ourselves and pray. Seek his grace. Based on 2nd Chronicles 7:14 if my people were called by mine, and I know the world won’t do it, but I’m going to still invite them to come and join us, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways and I’ll hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal the land.

This land needs to be healed and I believe that this will be once again the best state in the world. God bless you. Thank you so much. I need your support. Thank you for I. Wow. My freedom loving patriots, that is Dr. Shay on what an absolute privilege to have him in the take your power back show house today. So without further ado, we’re bringing him on in. Hi Pastor Che, how are you? Thank you, Kim. I’m doing really well. I’m in San Luis Obispo, campaigning, meeting with people, fundraising and doing the things, Getting to know people, listen to people, and have them hear my heart.

That I have had this incredible encounter with God on April 28th. I. I love my job as a pastor. I’ve been a pastor for 46 years, and I am privileged to lead a network of churches and as you said, 73 nation. And by the way, it’s all by the grace of God. I’m here by the grace of God. My parents prayed me into the kingdom. I got saved at the age of 17. I was a rebellious youth. I got involved in the whole drug hippie culture. I joke. I may have been the first Korean hippie in North America, but I never met another one.

But three years of heavy drug use, and then one day, May 25, 1973, I gave my life to Jesus Christ. And he, completely without hype or hyperbole, delivered me from drug addiction in one day. And I feel like I’m an example of how God can transform lives and he can transform the state of California. And so we need major transformation. As you said, we really need a resurrection because this state is very sick or is on the verge of being dead. And we believe when Trump said we’re going to enter into the Golden Age, I believe that it has to include the Golden State, California, being resurrected.

And I feel that God called me to do that. And I’d like to share what happened, because on April 28, it was my day off. Monday’s my day off is Sabbath, because Sunday’s a work day. And I was just going to just rest that day. But 2:30 in the morning, the Lord woke me up. Now, this has happened periodically in my walk with Jesus that he would wake me up and he would want to talk to me, not an audible voice, but just spend time and getting into the word and praying. And I felt this incredible impression.

I didn’t have a dream, I didn’t hear a voice, but I had this impression that I’m to run for governor of California. Now, part of it, to be honest with you, is because I know some of the people that are cleared their candidacy. And I just felt like we need to have a godly person, a righteous person, person with integrity. That’s pro life, pro family, pro freedom run. But I didn’t expect God to call me. It was not on my radar. And I honestly said, lord, please not this. Take this away. I’ll do anything you asked me to do, but don’t ask me to run.

But the pressure and the presence was on me for two hours. And by 4:30 in the morning I just said okay Lord, I’ll do it, but I am weak. I need a confirmation, I need a supernatural sign. So I threw a fleece out Kim and I said lord, this is of you. Let me get an invitation from President Trump to come to the White House and because I met with him several times but never at the White House, right. And two hours later I get an email from the White House, from President Trump inviting me to really celebrate the National Day of Prayer to come.

And so on the 28th, three days later I’m at the White House and you can’t make that up. And so the Lord, that is quite a fleece, quite an answer to prayer. Gracious to give me that confirmation. And since then of course I’ve had many other confirmation. The main thing is just the response of the people that I’ve talked to and they’re so encouraged that a pastor is running. Actually I thought this would be a detriment and would be something that people would be turned off. But what I’m hearing is that it’s been so bad they want someone that they can trust.

52 years of integrity. I’ve been a shepherd. I love people, both Democrat and Republican that are in my church and I just want is that I want to pastor California to health. And I really believe that God has given the answer in his word and that we need wisdom. We don’t just need brilliance. We have the PhDs from Stanford and Caltech and, and UC schools etc in government from Harvard. But all we need is the wisdom of God. And I really believe that he’s going to provide wisdom because it’s righteous people that Proverbs 14:34 is referring to that righteousness exalts a nation and if all nation it can exalt a state and obviously it could exalt a city, a home, an individual.

And so I believe that God’s calling as, as God’s people because I can’t do this alone. I need God’s people, that’s right, local Christians to support me as we take back California and inculcate values that are based on kingdom values and the word of God. And so that’s my ambition, that’s my hope. And I believe in miracles is going to take a miracle camp. But God’s the God of miracles. God is the God of miracles. And you mentioned something that really hit home for me and probably for our listeners that have actually, actually shepherded sheep, if you’ve ever been a shepherd of, like, physical sheep, like the my goats and sheep, that kind of thing, it is incredible.

My son is a shepherd, Pastor Che, and he I showed up on Mother’s Day and he said to me, he says, mom, I’m giving you the hay and alfalfa. We’re moving 450 sheep today. I’ve set up the fences and you are going to lead them to the pasture. And I was like, What? I’m waiting. 450 the sheep to the pasture. It was the most amazing experience I have ever experienced, besides birthing four children. That moment taught me so much the responsibility that God has given to shepherd his sheep, to lead them to the good pasture. So you have been practicing over and over and over with the many churches and nations that you’ve shepherded, Pastor Che.

So I want to just say thank you for that now today. Thank you, Kim. But you know, we do have great examples. Of course, Jesus is the good shepherd, and he is the king of kings. And then we have David. David was a shepherd. He was taking care of his father’s sheep when God called him to take on Goliath. And that’s what I feel right now. I feel like I’m a shepherd with just stones in my pocket and a sling to take on the Goliath principality of evil in California. And so, but God gave grace to David to take down Goliath.

And I believe, and he became a great ruler. He became a great king, and maybe one of the best kings ever in Israel’s history. Obviously had his more flaws, but no one’s perfect. But nevertheless, he the Bible says, shepherd the people of Israel with integrity. And that’s what I want to do, is I want to shepherd California. I want to govern all the people of California with integrity. That is beautiful. That is so beautiful. You sound like a leader who’s ready to restore California. So tonight, Pastor Chang, I feel if God calls you, and this is for anyone calls you, he’ll give you the grace to fulfill that task that he’s called you 100%.

And tonight, here’s what we’re going to talk about tonight. Now I have a lineup of questions for you. And every interview is different, right? Because sometimes, you know, you’ll walk into an interview and they’re just like, okay, we’re going to ask you a couple of questions. We’re going to give you the stage now. This is your space to show up. This is in preparation for the showdown, right so we’re in the midst of a Face off now. I’m going to have some rapid fire questions for you. And some of the things that we’re going to tackle today is your viewpoint and plan, plan on homelessness, crime, human trafficking and more.

While exposing Newsom’s failures, we’re also rallying around the family’s first pledge by Salt and Light Council. This is about uniting. It’s about uniting God, putting God back in his rightful place. Right. I love that we have the ability to do that, to really turn our hearts back to God. So what I’d like to do right now is I want to start with that lineup of questions and I’m gonna hit you. Are you ready? I’m ready. Are you ready? The grace of God. You’re ready? You’re ready? I believe, yes. Go ahead. We’re gonna have fun today. So what we’ll do is we’ll do the first round of questions, then we’ll take a moment to thank our sponsors.

We’ll come back for our second round of questions and we’ll give you, you know, some time just to breathe because I know you’ve got a lot to say today and I’m excited. Now, here’s what we got. In 2020, you faced fines for church services while rioters faced little accountability. How does that experience shape your approach to governing? Well, the truth is, is that good government needs a balance of righteousness, righteous leaders and justice. And I’m talking about biblical justice. I’m not talking about social justice. And when you compromise the law and allow these rioters, and keep in mind, there was no social distancing.

No one was wearing a mask and they were destroying Fairfax. You talk about racism that was anti Semitic, the way they attacked the Jewish community here in Los Angeles. And for Newsom to get on live television and just say, your First Amendment rights must be heard, we’re going to protect it. And God bless you. I tell you, that is where we have come to. Isaiah 5:20. Woe to those who call good evil, evil, good. And so here the people who are locked down, you know, the churches are locked down, they’re the bad people. If they want to open up because we opened up in May.

And those who are rioting are the good people. And so it’s just an upside down perspective and it’s really evil. And I will bring justice back to and law and order back to California. Come on. And you set the stage. You sued Newsom and won. Yeah. Again, I had great attorneys. And I just want to thank God for Matt Staver, my chief counsel and Liberty Council. But initially I said to. To God, I said, lord, I can’t sue the most powerful governor unless I hear from a word from you. And sure enough, I’m reading a book, and it’s a historical book of the account of World War II where Churchill’s meeting Roosevelt on a naval ship off of Newfoundland in 1941.

And the chaplain, they met over the weekend. So everyone had to attend chapel service with the chaplain on the ship. And the text of the chapel was Joshua one night. And as I read that, it just left off the page, and it says, have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, do not tremble, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. And when I read that, I just said, that’s it. You know, I need to realize that God is for me. If God’s for you, who could be against you? And you need to take a stand, because I feel our First Amendment rights, I’m talking about the Constitution, was being violent.

And of course, as a pastor, the scripture, Hebrews, chapter 10, verse 25, do not forsake the assembling of the saints, which is the habit of sun, especially as you see the day draw near. So as we draw near to the Second Coming, there will be temptation not to gather, whether it’s through persecution and in this case was a draconian lockdown. And so I said to Matt, I said, I want you to cover me. I’m going to sue Governor Newsom. And as I did that, I got a letter immediately from the district attorney saying that we’re going to put you in jail.

There’s not a threat. We’re just giving you the terms to give you a heads up when you’re in jail. We’re going to fine you $1,000 per person of your church members to the point of today, which we calculated at $4.5 million. So that’s the cancel culture. They want to bankrupt you like they try to do a President Trump. They want to put you in jail. And so this was a letter, but what was really evil, the last paragraph said, we reserve the right to arrest your church members. There’s one thing as a leader for me today, responsible, but to arrest citizens who pay their taxes, patriots, people who are citizens of California, to arrest them because they want to worship.

Give me a break. I mean, that is just again, Isaiah. Well, to those who call evil good. And meanwhile, Muslims are allowing inmates out because of COVID crowdedness. Right. So he’s allowing rapists drug dealers out of prison and giving them early release because he wants social distancing in prison. And yet he would want put US citizens in jail. So anyway, clubs open, of course, or how evil things have gone and upside down it is in California. And so, Grace, we took a stand. If it was just me, I don’t think I would have been picked, because you don’t pick the Supreme Court, they have to pick you.

But because I lead a network of churches and that’s what I want to do, I feel the pathway to winning this election is to mobilize not only our churches, but the churches in California that are activists, they’re praying, they’re patriots. And I want to go after the minority group because I am a Korean immigrant that came at the age of five. There’s over a million Koreans in Los Angeles, Chinese, over a million Filipinos, and of course, we have 3 million Mexicans just in LA alone. If Mexico, if. If LA was a Mexican city, would be the second largest Mexican city next to Mexico City of 25 million.

So the point I’m trying to make is that I feel that the Lord has given me a grace. People can relate to me as an immigrant that is living the American dream. My parents came here and. And there were pastors. They couldn’t make enough money as a pastor, so they started a restaurant. And so they were in the marketplace, very successful. And they were able to purchase houses as investment. They ended up owning four houses. And that DNA was imparted to me to be a pastor, but also a businessman. And I started my own company. My wife and I started an LLC in 2010.

And by God’s grace, we make more money with our company that we’re able to serve as a pastor without any salary. We turn back three times, we give back to the church three times with the my salary sort. And what a blessing that I could bless my church as a pastor, virtually, not just as a shepherd. Wow, that’s a powerful story. Such an example of, you know, when the Bible says faith without deeds is dead. You are a man of faith. You are a man of action. We see that in you holding Newsom accountable. Now, let’s traverse just for a moment.

You mentioned your dad. You have a story, from what I understand, that has everything to do with freedom and why freedom is important to you. Will you tell us about that story? People ask me why you’re such a patriot, and I’m so grateful for the United States and the military, because in 1945, when World War II ended, Stalin and Truman, because Roosevelt had died suddenly and Truman became president, they divided up the nations and we had Germany divide from East Germany would be a buffer zone of the communists. For that Germans would not attack or any other NATO nations would attack.

And they wanted that. And so they capitulated and split, as you know, Germany in half. And Korea was the same thing. North Korea would be communist because Stalin won a buffer zone that if Japan attacked again, they wanted to have land that was communist. So Truman capitulated and divided north and South Korea, south being a democratic republic and the north being communist. Now overnight, born in Pyongyang was all of a sudden the DMZONE was built and he was stuck in North Korea and he was a young pastor. And so now moving five years later, in 1950, Kim Il Sung, the grandfather of Kim Jong Un, the founder of the communist nation of North Korea, decided to invade South Korea to unite all of Korea under communism.

And what he did was arrest all the pastors against this is a Marxist playbook of cancel culture. Because he knew pastors would be dissident because they serve a higher authority, they serve God and they would speak out against the invasion. So they arrested my dad and other pastors and then he invaded South Korea. And thank God for Truman, who was so upset that Stalin violated their agreement. He sent General Douglas MacArthur. It was in Japan at that time. And they had what’s called the Incheon invasion. Instead of coming from the east coast, they round the peninsula and came on the west part of South Korea where the airport is, Incheon Airport and divided the Korean forces and they were able to push the North Korean division up to the Chinese border.

During that six month window, my dad was released and he came to South Korea and met my mom at Youngout Presbyterian Church. And I was born right after the Korean War. So literally I wouldn’t be here. It was US soldiers intervention. Now unfortunately, the Chinese army jumped in and what, what should have been a war that was ended in six months ended up being a three and a half year war. But here’s the price that we paid. 35,000Americans died in the Korean War. And I can’t thank the armed forces enough. So that’s why I love freedom.

And I can smell Marxism. I could smell communism because my dad hated it. He would indoctrinate. And when you see a one party state and a totalitarian rule like Newsom has been doing, it has all the characteristics and earmarks of socialism and Marxism. And so even though we don’t call it that, we call it being Progressive or being woke. But in reality the ideology is controlled by the state. The government pays for everything and everyone is under the government rule. And that’s what they’re trying to do with the schools. There’s no parental rights. They’ve taken that.

You mentioned AB 1955, that teachers are not obligated to tell the parents their kids are transist transition or they want to change their pronoun by constitution. They have to tell the parents. That’s on the federal level, but that bill has blocked that. And again, they’re trying to control the state is controlling our children. And here’s what I want to just say as a pastor, parents, we have to speak out. The Bible says in Proverbs 22:7 that parents are to train up their children in the fear of the Lord and when they’re old they won’t depart from it.

It’s not the state’s responsibility. And if I could just be honest as a pastor, it’s not even the church’s responsibility. It’s the parents responsibility. And the church is to support them. And the street of course is supposed to support them. So I want to run for parental rights. And one of the major issues in my heart, because I’m a father and I have 10 grandchildren and I just see what’s. And I’m talking about Satan himself is attacking children with this bill. But also the human trafficking bill in 2023, Senate Bill 357, which used to be you would, if you see a minor hooking, let’s say on census strip in Los Angeles, you would go up to them, say how old are you? Let me see your ID.

And if they could not show that they were 18, then you would take them into child custody. We can’t do that anymore. So human trafficking has tripled. From one article I read that bill got passed. And so all these evil bills by these woke politicians. And really I just say I fear for them because their bills are so evil. Because Jesus said this. The only time he talks about judgment in this lifetime is in Matthew 18, that if you cause one of these little ones to sin, he’s talking about children. It’s better for you to hang a millstone around your neck and be thrown into lake and drown in this lifetime.

And of course you’re facing judgment after you die as well. And so this is a very serious matter. And I know that the devil’s attacking children with Proposition one portion to the very last day of the ninth month. And this is where I want to ask my opponents why they Wouldn’t sign the Family first bill and just really take a stand for life and for family. Wow. You touched on all the hotspots, some of the most important things. Now let’s talk about some of the solutions there. So if we just look at education for a second, because you mentioned education.

Right. And what they’re doing. So we’ve seen all across the board the declining test scores, policies excluding parents. Like you mentioned, bills like AB40 impacting homeschool kids, over 68,000 kids in California. If that bill goes through, they’re not going to be able to do homeschool that. And now we’re just casting them to the lion’s den in public school. So how will you empower parents with school choice and improve education outcomes? Well, I want to pass a bill that will give money to Christian schools, other private schools, and even homeschooling if they can show the. The track record of.

We homeschooled four of our kids and one of them all the way up through high school. When they got to high school, we gave them a choice of going to a Christian school. And three out of the four did. And as a result of that, two of them are pastors. They all love Jesus. They’re not a perfect family, but we were able to train them up, as the word has said, that we are ultimately responsible. And so, you know, we spend more money than any other state. $26,000 per student, and yet were ranked 40th out of 50 state on test scores.

And it’s just a crime. We have the lowest graduation rate and all the per capita of high school students. And so here we are in the richest state. 4.1 trillion GDP, if we were a nation, would be the fourth richest nation. How about putting some of that money and giving parents the freedom to choose and to go to a Christian school or a private school. And I want to pass a bill that will allocate funds for that. And here’s the reason why. Because I believe what the teachers union need is competition in a free market. See that the students are being taken away and their budgets being reduced.

They’re going to try to improve. They’re going to say, hey, we got to make some changes. Enough of the dei. You know, I’m hoping for that, you know, transgender agenda being just, you know, just push down the children’s throat. I just really feel that they will see the light, hopefully, because money talks, that there’s competition and they will come back to common sense and responsible education. So good. So good. All right, Len, let’s go back and let’s touch on human trafficking because you mentioned that as well, and that’s a huge, huge hot topic. So we know that California is the hub, the hub of human trafficking with thousands upon thousands of victims, especially children, and they’re exploited daily, many, many, many times a day.

So how will you combat this crisis in protecting the vulnerable? Well, this is where I feel that as a pastor, I really want to talk about the issue of fatherlessness. Fathers need to take responsibility. We could see the things spiking when the divorce rate grew to around 55%. So this Saturday we’ll have thousands of weddings in California and throughout the United States in this August, last summer of the year. And 55% of them will end up in divorce. Now, we were the first state to pass a no fault divorce. This is not to condemn anyone who’s gone through a divorce.

But we have seen, not even when you have a two couple family. We see fatherlessness, absentee dads. And I really believe the answer is found in Malachi, chapter four, five and six, where he’s going from the hearts of the fathers to the children and hearts of the children to the fathers. And it’s the spirit of Elijah, which means that we’re talking about the anointing to bring revival to the family and revival to our society. And if we don’t, he says, I’ll strike the earth with a curse. So we have a prophetic invitation. We have a prophetic invitation that we can strengthen the family.

And I want to strengthen families in California. Let’s, for example here, here are some policies, practical things. How about giving a tax break by giving couples who have more children, you know, pay less taxes because we want to encourage you to, to grow as a family and not to be worried about the finances. How about giving a tax break if you want to go to a marriage seminar at your church and, but you can’t afford it. Why not? You know, I mean, it’s your, the most important thing in life. You know, we study for our career.

We spend tens of, if not hundreds of thousands for our masters at a doctorate to, to be, you know, a lawyer, a professional. But we spend hardly any money on our marriage. And I would like to have, where we provide funds for people to take advantage of if they need counseling. A lot of poor people don’t see marriage counselors. So I want to strengthen family and whatever we can do in public policy to do that. But I also want to just say to the pastors that we have to again have family values and I do a series on the family every year from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day.

It’s just a great time to do a family series in our church to equip them to encourage families. And so families are huge value. I’ve been married 46 years as I shared four adult children, 10 of the cutest grandchildren in the world. Our grandchildren the best. I love my grandbabies and I want to protect these kids. Yes, of course. Because we see, here’s the problem. Every year, 50,000 kids run away from home in America and they. And we have 50,000 runaways because we have 50,000 men who have been absent, many of them as because of divorce or lack of fathers.

80% of those in prison. When it comes to Mother’s Day, they all ask for a Mother’s Day card they want to send to their moms, but they don’t ask for a Father’s Day card because they don’t have a dad. And. Or they’re bitter towards their dad. And so they don’t want to honor on Father’s Day. So we’re seeing that the problems that society knows these facts. You could Google any of these things and fast check them that you’re. The percentage of you having a kid getting pregnant as a teenager is like 10 times higher than a couple that’s together when you are without a father.

And by the way, it’s the father’s affection to his son, masculinity and the father’s affection to his daughter that develops femininity. And men, we just need to man up and take responsibility in the home. We’ve had the feminization of our society where men have been emaciated and they’re just absolutely just absent because they don’t know where they stand as far as responsibility and authority. Like, they just divert to the mom, to virtue. The wife. And I really feel that we need to get back to biblical order here. And I know I’m more of a traditionalist. I’m not against women and leadership because we have women senior pastors in our network.

We have women pastors. My executive pastor was a. And I want to just say this publicly that she was a former lesbian and a woman executive pastor. And so I want to just show there’s no homophobic issue with. I want to help people to change and to be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. Come on. So well said. What I hear is restoring the family, putting the dad back in his rightful role, putting the wife and husband back in their rightful roles, everything falling back into alignment. So let’s talk about. You mentioned, you know, children running away, the consequences, the impact of a broken family.

Right. So when we look at homelessness and housing crisis, a lot of these young adults end up homeless. But there are many adults in the state of California that cannot afford to live here now. So over 180,000 Californians are homeless and home prices in cities like Los Angeles exceed $1 million. What policies will you implement to provide immediate relief and make housing affordable, affordable for all families? Well, I do believe in government assistance as a safety net for those who really need it. But the truth is that one third of the homeless are drug addicts and they are alcoholics.

And when Proposition 47 passed, it made hard drug use a misdemeanor instead of a felony before they would go to prison. And they would either have the option of going to treatment center or detoxing in prison, but they got delivered because there was no more drug access. What we did is made it a misdemeanor and put them out in the streets. Since then, crime has skyrocketed. We spend 5 billion a year on the homeless, 24 billion the last five years, and we’ve increased homelessness by 40%. Someone said, whether it was Einstein or someone said insanity is doing the same things over and over and over, new results, and we’re seeing a digression, not an improvement.

So this policy has to change. So here’s my thinking. Thank God for Proposition 36, but we have to put the felons back into prison and clean up that way. And I, I, I believe because I was in jail when I was 15, I, I, my heart goes out. But I believe that we can provide adequate training. I want to put chaplains in these prisons. I want them to hear the gospel in the prisons. And one of the problems with our problem is that we’re so secular that even if we give money to a Christian missionary or mission in downtown la, you know, like LA Mission or Dream center, they can’t preach the gospel if they get governor, government assistant.

They can’t preach because of, of this right? Non, it’s not even the Constitution. Separation of church and state. Right? That’s not in the Constitution. That was Thomas Jefferson in 1801 that wrote a letter to the damn buried Christians because they were worried about, of he as Thomas Jefferson was a ds, was going to shut down their church. And he said, of course not. And he believed in God. And he said, look, there’s a wall of separation. The state will not interfere with the freedom of religion. And they shouldn’t interfere with us, what we share or not share.

And they’re going to give money to give us the freedom, our first amendment right to share the gospel. Because here’s the truth. I believe the truth will set people free. I was a three years of drug, heavy drug addiction, and in one day, Jesus changed my life. And I believe in Second Corinthians 5, 17, if anyone being Christ, he’s a new person, his old life has passed away. Behold, all things are new. I believe that as I implement these principles of giving financial support to ministries in San Francisco, in Los Angeles, and they are, feel free to share the gospel.

I believe that a lot of these drug addicts will get saved. They’ll be delivered from drug addiction, alcoholism, and they will be discipled and they will become citizens who are functioning, getting jobs. And that’s my solution. And if you come up with a better solution, let me know. But we haven’t tried this one. And I want to, as a Christian governor, implement this policy when I become governor. Beautiful. Talk about getting to the heart of the matter. Pastor Chang, you know, it’s Dr. Cheon and Pastor Chaey on, and you have quite a wealth of experience. You, you mentioned the violent crimes, right? You mentioned, you know, having, you know, chaplains in prison, like really creating a space that people can step into to be healed and to be transformed.

Will you tell me, you know, with violent crimes in Los angeles being up 12% and San Francisco streets completely unsafe right now, and like you said, half of them are on drugs. Right. How will you restore the law and order and address the root causes like addiction to keep communities safe? Like, what is the one thing, like, right off the bat that you can take action in to move the needle? Well, finances. We defunded Garcia defunded the police. When he was mayor, he took a billion dollar budget and reduced it to around 600,000. 600 million. And we need to finance the police department, we need to give them extra.

And we defined the fire department. It’s not just is anyone who is here to protect the citizens. They need to be because the government’s primary responsibility is the safety of the citizens of California. And we’ve blown it because homicide is skyrocketed under Newsom. We’ve seen crime skyrocket. That stupid Bill 47 where people can steal up to 950, they’re bringing their calculator because it’s a misdemeanor. It was like, this is like the spirit of stupid. And so it doesn’t take a rocket scientist that we need to support the police department. I believe in law and order because this is God’s a God of justice.

He’s a God of mercy, but he’s also a God of justice. And we need both mercy and justice. In fact, the Psalm 89, verse 14 says, the foundation of heaven’s throne. This is what heaven looks like. It’s righteousness and justice, love and truth proceed from his presence. This is Psalm 89, verse 14. And I want to build on those prayer because we’ve been praying this for 2000 years. We’ve been praying Matthew 6:10. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. What have we been praying? We’re praying God’s righteousness to rain down his justice, his mercy and his truth to come to society.

That’s our prayer. And so I want to see that implemented. And to have righteous leaders, because righteousness exhaust the nation, to have just leaders who are going to obey the law and uphold the Constitution. I’m a constitutionalist, and I will swear by the Constitution to uphold the law. But we have to understand there’s a difference between morality and law. And where there are places where I can show mercy and compassion. I’m a pastor. I love people. Jesus has given us just two commandments to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength. That’s Matthew 22:37, 39.

And then to love our neighbor as ourselves. And even if you don’t like your neighbor, the Bible says you’re to love your enemy. And so I want to love the people of California, and I want to do what’s best for them. So people say, what is love? You know, because love is love, but love first. Corinthians 13, verse 6. Again, it’s. I want to. Just because I have a biblical worldview, I have to just share from the word of God, because I believe the word is truth. The Bible says we’re to love. And it says love doesn’t rejoice at evil, but rejoices with the truth.

And so when you see crime taking place and people being killed, true love, the best thing for everyone is to arrest that person and prosecute that person. So love and justice marry together. And that’s really, really important. So we have to have biblical love and biblical justice. And I believe that because I’m a pastor and I’m a theologian, I got my doctorate at Fuller Seminary, got my master’s at Fuller, that I want to bring a biblical worldview and biblical values back into our society. I believe The Bible has the answer to everything, including all the problems in our society.

And I just want to encourage people. If you’ve never looked at the Bible, please, I want to encourage you to read the words of Jesus, read the Bible, the wisdom of Solomon and Proverbs. And I believe that we can govern wisely with God’s wisdom and God’s biblical justice. So good. So good. You mentioned a couple things. I thought of a book that I read a while back, Grace, Truth and Time, you know, and the book talked about, you know, grace without truth is a license to sin. Exactly. Yeah. So that balance, that anti nomination is a.

Is a heresy throughout church history where it’s all grace. You could do whatever you want and God forgives. You know, that’s Jesus said here my standards are even higher. If you even look at a woman to lust after her, you’ve committed adultery. The point is you can’t do it without his spirit, without his grace. And he provides grace for you to obey the truth. That’s right. That’s right. So good. Well, we have a couple more questions before we take a moment for you to get a nice big rest and a breath. Right. So let me ask you this first.

I had the privilege and honor of leading the Take our border movement across the country, Take our border back movement across the country. We reached hundreds of millions and we were all about closing up that border. We’re all about national security. We’re about protecting the children, protecting this country and protecting the state of California. We’re right here on the border. So I’m curious right now. There’s so much confusion for people, you know, you’ve got the left that’s like, protect these people. These, come on, we’re Americans. You gotta love people, you gotta take care. We’re good people.

There’s a lot of people that, you know, like good hearted people, good hearted Christians that are like, you know what, they’re fine, they’re here. Just let them be. Let them be, right? And then you’ve got those of us, you know, others, the other part of us, right? Because we’ve got these duality and we’re going, hold on a second. We’ve got people, we’ve got people raping and pillaging and murdering and stealing. There is this entitlement that they deserve to be here, you know, unlike the former illegal immigrants that maybe have been here taking care of all of our crops and working at our hotels, maybe cleaning our homes.

And there’s that level of gratitude that they’re so grateful to be here. So there’s such a duality. So how do you handle what so right now, because ICE is not likely to get all of these illegal immigrants, the criminals, especially out of the state. So give us your thoughts on that. No, that’s a great question and I think it’s a big issue. And as a, if I could say a legal immigrant that grew up in America and living the American dream, I’m for all the immigrants, but the priority is the Constitution. I’m going to swear on the Bible to uphold and defend the Constitution.

And the Constitution law is that you cannot cross the border illegally. So I’m going to do what President Trump has asked people to do. If you came the last four years illegally to self deport, we’ll give you finances to get back. But here’s where I’m going to be different. And what I wanted to do is that if you have no criminal record, you self deport, but you have no criminal record, you’re not on government assistance, you’re working, you are being productive, you’re contributing to the society. And if you’re involved, let’s say in a church and being involved as a Christian from Mexico or wherever in Latin America you came from, I want to fast track you to return to qualify for a green card and to be vetted again through the green carpets.

They’ll check to see if you’re working, if you have a criminal record. And I want to encourage our federal government and use my influence as governor to allow these people to come back if they will self deport. And so it’s almost like I want to give them an ein number if they self deport and they have no criminal record. And they’re working to give special grace and favor and mercy because I want them to live the American dream. So it’s, I think it’s not trying to be just, you know, balanced, but I think there is the truth of law and order that we have to uphold and yet we need to show mercy to these people.

And as a governor, as an immigrant, I know what they’re going through and I want to give them the opportunity to live the American dream. Like my parents flourished with a restaurant, they were able to, they became very wealthy and invest in four homes in the Washington D.C. area. And that was imparted to me and, and I’m doing the same thing here in Los Angeles. You have quite a vision, Pastor Che, for the state of California. Let me ask you this, with so many of these crisises, what’s the top priority as governor for you and how will you unite Californians to take back our God given power? Well, the number one priority is the economy for me, because of our green emission policies, the environmentalists, the regulation, the lack of energy.

We have all the resources, the natural gas, we have crude oil right in our land. But we can’t drill because of regulations that we’ve implemented. And so we’ve seen two refineries that are closing down and moving out in 2026. And the truth is we need the refineries. That’s going to be a drop of 20% and we’re going to end up again. We’re importing 60% of our petroleum needs from Saudi Arabia, from Kuwait, from the Middle east, which is the worst place to bring petroleum because if there’s any war, it could shut down the flow of petroleum into our state.

And so I, I really feel that we need to be energy independent here in California. We have the wealth and I believe that there’s a balance, that we could do it and produce, but do it in a way that’s responsible. I believe in creation, care. I love the fact that I can see San Gabriel mountains. When we came here in 1984, moved out from Washington D.C. i was 28 years old, you could not see the mountains. But there’s a small go so bad. So I love the policies that we’ve implemented in California to clean air, clean water.

But we can do something that’s responsible because when God created the earth, he said it is good, it’s very good, it’s not evil. The earth is something that we need to steward. But when he created man, he said it’s very good. And I feel that people have to have priority and that they, their well being, their economic well being, their ability to buy a house, but they can’t because the energy prices are so high. They paid the highest taxes and gas, they pay the highest gas price, the highest electricity bill. We pay the highest taxes overall in California and now the richest state.

We’re now 30% living in a poverty level. 30% of Californians are at a poverty level. And that to me is a crime. I feel that’s injustice. And I want to tackle that as the number one issue when I become governor. I got that, I got that. Now, as a leader that’s committed to this type of transparency and trust, what can you share with Californians to assure, to really assure us of your integrity and readiness to serve, especially in the face of challenges, scrutiny that may arise during your campaign? Well, I, I just basically have to say that I’ve had a 52 year record of walking in integrity.

I fear God and people know me in my church. I’m a man of my word and I believe. And again, to me, integrity, being truthful is a high value because it’s one of the ten commandments. You should not bear false witness, as we know. But the Bible says there’s six things the Lord hates. Seven, which is an abomination. Those are strong words. It’s an abomination to God. In Proverbs 6, 16, the first is pride. Second is a lying tongue. And then he goes on to say a false witness who utters lies. So 2 out of the 7 that’s an abomination is lying.

And so we have to speak the truth in love. And I’m committed. And by God’s grace, I’m saying this as governor, I will speak the truth to you. I don’t have all the answers. I want to have the experts around me. I want to surround me with just righteous, smart people that could help me because I need a team of people. But I do want to make this commitment. By God’s grace, I’ll be truthful with you and I will keep my word if I make a promise. If I don’t, I will humble myself and ask for your forgiveness.

But I have governed as a shepherd this way and I know I will govern this way. And so only thing I could give you is my word. Because we’ve made promises, but we’ve broken the promises. And I just wanted to say that if you give me a chance, you support me and I need your prayers more than anything else, but also your financial support. And I want to encourage you to go to my website@che4cha4ca.com for California. I believe that we can make a difference, but I need your help in order for me to win. Wow. I’ll tell you what, that’s just the first part of the show today.

We’re coming back in just a second. That was so, so, so good. I just. Your heart, it’s, you know, sitting here in this interview with you, the integrity and truth is palpable. And that’s, that’s pretty incredible. You’re answering God’s call to heal our land and to heal this beautiful golden state of California. Now we’re going to dig into Newsom’s gerrymandering parental rights. And after we come back from taking a moment to thank our sponsors who keep the take your power back show alive. So get ready for our next segment, everybody, with the take your power back California Governor, face off, round five.

And Pastor Che, I’m going to give you a moment to catch your breath. Thank you. You’re welcome. Oh, my gosh, you guys, what an absolute honor to. To get to be on this side right now with the warriors that are vying for. For not just the state to be free, but for each one of us to be free. That’s just incredible. So we’re going to take a moment to thank our sponsors and our first sponsor up, who is dear to my heart. He is a patriot, and I’ll tell you. And sometimes the market has become saturated because we’ve heard his commercials.

But here’s what I want us to understand when we listen to President Trump, especially over the past few days, he has been shouting from the rooftops, free Tina Peters. Free Tina Peters. And Tina Peters is that Mesa county clerk who stood up for your elections being fair and my elections being fair. She exposed the election fraud in Mesa County, Colorado. And what you see with Tina Peters is what we would call the Rosetta Stone of election fraud. There’s a campaign that we’ve done Free tinapeters us where you can support Tina Peters. But one of those people who’s been fighting the good fight all along the way to support Tina Peters has been our dear friend Mike Lindell.

It was such a privilege to fly out t. Peters and Dr. Douglas G. Frank have. Have Mike Lindell stop his plane on the airport to be with us at our Take Our elections, you take our elections back event here in Southern California. And, and I’ll tell you, Mike Lindell has done everything to create fair elections. He has been fighting for you to expose them. So he has an organization called My Pillow, right? And many of you listening, you’re like, oh, yeah, I’ve got his Giza dream bed sheets. I’ve got my. My pillow pillow. I’ve got the complete mattress sleep system.

Listen, I’ve got all of those, even the slippers. I love Mike Lindell. I love his products. There’s a pillow that I use every single night that says, make America great Again. It’s the coolest thing and it fits in the crook of my neck. And you can see me on a show like this coming forward, right? Little bit of a subluxation, my chiropractor would say. So that pillow makes such a difference. And I love supporting my patriot, my bi patriots like Mike Lindell. So I want to give you a moment to hear from Mike and hear a little bit, little bit about the specials that he has right now at the Lindell store MyPillow.

Let’s take a listen. Just like all of you, I had problems sleeping. I had tried every pillow out there and nothing worked. I’d flip flop all night, use my arm for support and fall asleep. Or I’d wake up with a sore neck or maybe a headache. Well, quality sleep comes from keeping your neck straight at night. You have to fill in that space between your head and your bed. That’s why I invented MyPillow. MyPillow’s patented fill adjusts to your exact individual needs. And it doesn’t matter if you sleep on your back, stomp cider, any combination of all three.

Everybody shut him down. People stopped selling his pillow, his pillows at stores. He felt it in his pocket. And then fighting the case in the court courts, fighting for freedom, all of that guys, it has, there’s been a cost to that. Now our next sponsor up that we’re gonna complete with before we move into our next show is Patriots made. This is our USA manufacturer. Now you ask why is it important, you know that we shop with American made? Did we see what these companies are doing? I mean if we look at Budweiser, if we. And we look at their woke agenda, right. What happened when we the people said no we’re not doing it.

We’re not buying there. We’re not going to support your woke agenda. They woke up. They stopped putting it out there. Can you imagine if we had every ability to bankrupt the corrupt, hit BlackRock Vanguard right in their pocket? Well, you can. You absolutely can by taking your power back from the illusion of choice. That illusion is what you grew up with. It’s what the television tells you. Procter and Gamble, Colgate and Palmolive, Johnson and Johnson Unilever, the big box manufacturers that we’ve all shopped at, we raised our kids on these products and you’re like, my kids are fine.

People are dealing with cancer up the yin yang. People get sick from the heavy metals in those products and then they’re fed into the pharmaceutical industry. Hits the cycle to hell. I am your host, Peak performance master, coach Kim Yater, we have been speaking with Dr. Pastor Che Ahn in round five of the California governor face off. We heard chase plan for homelessness, safety, education and human trafficking. Chase plans are absolutely needle moving. You are the ones who are going to go do the deeper dive when you meet all the candidates at our upcoming November 8th showdown. We’ll tell you more about that in just a bit. Now it’s time to tackle Newsom’s gerrymandering, parental rights, the family’s first pledge. We’ll go a little bit deeper in some of those areas and more crisises like the sanctuary state policies and failing infrastructure.

Let’s bring our warrior back into the room. Pastor Ch. Yes. Thank you to be on your show, Kim. This has been amazing experience for me. It’s an absolute honor. So grateful. You don’t have to tell you this is round. Say that again. Let’s talk about what Newsom wants to do. Okay, let’s do it. Let’s go. He wants to bypass a commission that was started by at that time, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor. And it’s amazing that he wants this commission is independent, they’re against redistricting and yet he wants to bypass go to the people to vote.

Here’s my concern with the people that would vote again. The left wants to say less congressional control by the Republicans and have more Democratic control. But my appeal to those who are watching this, how bad do you want things to get here in California and in our nation that you’ve had eight years of control many years before that because with Governor Brown, etc. And we had Arnold Schwarzenegger for a short period. But how bad do you want things to get in California before you will give the right for people to vote as Democrats? I feel that they’re tired.

I mean think about it. 14,000 homes burned down and with the LA fires and Altadena fires and that was on the Democratic watch, obviously you can’t stop the Santa Ana winds by defunding the fire department $140 million. That’s on Newsom’s watch. Karen Bass defunded the fire department in la. She was absent when the fire, the warning came out and she takes the trip to Ghana. And so this is the and the homes that burned down are Democrats. So my appeal to you is how bad you want things to get before we shift our allegiance. And I feel like I grew up as a Democrat and really the Democratic Party left me and that’s why I became a Republican.

And I just want to appeal to common sense to the people there that if this goes through, Newsom pushes this out of his selfish ambition to be president, that we vote no against this. And. And again, his overreach of bypassing the independent commission that is in law, in play, I think is egregious again, you know. Oh, the tangled webs we weave in order to deceive. Right. It’s a crazy time to be in the state of California, and it is about every single one of us rising up and holding these elected officials accountable. You know, they’re doing it right before us, and what they’re doing is absolutely illegal.

And they’re not looking at really protecting the American people and protecting the Californians. We’re going to go back to the sacred. Then I. I really feel that the devil’s again, you know, shooting himself in the foot, because I feel like what people are saying, even as Democrats, enough is enough. We’re tired of losing parental authority. I know you want to get into that in schools, you know, because 70 of Democrats are against state control and have parental rights. Yes. And the whole transgender indoctrination that’s going on in school. Right. Yeah. Yeah, let’s talk about that, because that’s.

That is Bill AB 1955, which lets schools hide gender. Gender identities from parents. Right. And so what are you going to do about that? Well, first of all, it’s a violation of our constitutional rights. And I really feel that we need to hold these teachers accountable. I feel that we need to speak out as parents. We’re not domestic terrorists. If we come to the school board and just say, I disagree with that policy and it’s evil and we need to sue the government. I sued Governor Newsom. I think we need to have a landmark case like mine was, where it goes to the Supreme Court and gives the parents right based on the US Constitution back to the parents.

But we need to fight this. We can’t be passive about it because we’re talking about safeguarding our children. And as a parent, as a grandfather, I’m going to fight this when I become governor. And I want to restore parental rights. And so I want those who are Democratic. Mama bears, please, you got to step up to the plate and just voice because you have so much influence. And of course, at the end of the day, you have to vote and vote for parental rights to be restored. And unfortunately, the Democrats are going the other direction. So I want you to vote Republican, vote common sense.

And I really believe that it will protect her family and we’ll see a better California, I promise you. That it begins with the home. It’s funny, we’ve been saying that over and over. It all goes back to the home, Right? So let’s talk about the sanctity of life. So when we look at the sanctity of life, marriage as a candidate rooted in faith and family values, how will you champion the sanctity of life, Life, the traditional definition of marriage, while addressing the diverse perspectives of Californians on these issues? Well, this is a real tough issue now.

You know, I really believe God gave us a breakthrough. He answered our prayers June 24th in 2022, when Roe v. Wade was overturned by the doctor. But unfortunately, as a reaction to that, Governor Newsom made us a sanctuary state for abortion. He put seven billboards in red states saying that abortion is still free and legal and that we will pay for your flight, hospitality, hotel bills and your abortion if you come. And here’s the caveat. You have to be 17. If you’re an older, you know, you didn’t qualify. It’s attacking children again. And so these bills are really evil.

And at what point do we want to just come to reason and say, are you talking about that? The last day of the ninth month. Killing a baby. We know that with medication, I mean not medical, but medical science, that we could have a premature baby at three months and sustain life outside the womb. And yet you want to call kill the baby? And why are you. This is infanticide, in my opinion. And so I am strongly pro life. I’m going to fight for the pro life movement. And I know, by the way, this is no condemnation on those who have had abortion because when I was 16, I got my girlfriend pregnant it.

And I supported her in the abortion. I wasn’t saved. So I understand. But here’s what I want to do. I want to put some of the money that we get from our taxes into prenatal care. And that will pay for the poor people who can’t bring the baby to full delivery. And then I want to make adoption less expensive. My. One of our church members just recently adopted a baby girl, beautiful girl. And they had to pay $70,000. Now who could afford that? So we’re killing a baby in America every 20 seconds, three a minute that we won’t put up a child up for adoption with the.

The evil bills that we have. A Proposition one. And so I want to re allocate that money to help mothers in compassion. Because I understand when you’re poor, when you’re young like we were, you have no options. You know, there’s no alternative. But if the government can bring that alternative instead of just resorting to murder first. And that’s where I want to come back to just compassion and common sense and good use of our money to really care for the people of California. Very good. Very good. Now, your campaign emphasizes leadership and service. We’ve been hearing and seeing the example from you all night long.

Can you share the key experiences and accomplishments from your 40 years as a pastor, entrepreneur, community builder that have prepared you to lead California as our next governor? Now we got a taste of you leading nations. Give me a real, tangible boots on the ground example of leadership. Well, I believe that what Jesus said, if you want to be great, in my kingdom, there is greatness. If you want to be a leader, you have to be a servant. And so I believe in servant leadership. I love what Paul says in Romans 1, verse 1. He said, Paul, a bond servant called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel.

So he knows that we’re to preach the gospel. He knows he’s called as an apostle. But the first thing he emphasized, a bond service. I want to serve. I believe in serving leadership. I believe the best corporations that flourish is with great customer service. And so as a pastor, I’ve had the privilege of serving 46 years. People, people with all sorts of background. Also, we’re a very multicultural church. When our church is one year old, we had people representing 28 different nations. You come today, it’s like, like, you know, the United nations is just beautiful. And so, by the way, I’m Korean, but the church is not Korean.

You know, I. I’d say I’m, I’m like a banana. I may be yellow on the outside, but culturally, I’ve been great. Raised up in America. I’m quite culturally, you know, and that’s by the way, it’s amazing. When I sue Governor Newsom, the media attacked me and they called me a white nationalist racist. I’m not even white. I’m Asian. I’m not. It’s crazy. That means the nationalist, the Christian nationalist. I mean, if I’m. If you’re saying I’m patriotic, yes, I’m patriotic. I love this nation, but I’m not a Hitler. But that’s what they’re referring to. You’re some Nazi.

It’s just a playbook, you know, of just a juvenile playbook of Marxism, name calling, calling me a racist. Anything wrong with you, you’re racist. And so, so, so go figure. I’m an Asian. That is a racist. And so I experienced racism when I came so I understand what that is. This is, this is again just name calling. But as a servant leader, I have raised up leaders in 73 nations. I believe in one of the grace that God’s given me is to find other leaders. I couldn’t spot a winner and I equipped them, train them and set them up for success.

Let me give you an example, as she said, for real life. And so, example. Let me talk about a high school teacher named Simon Carissa in Kenya. He was a teacher God felt. God called him to be a pastor. And we helped him become a church planner, not just a pastor. At that time, our network of churches was a little bit less than 100 churches in Kenya, which is tremendous. Again, when we talk about these churches, I didn’t plant them. I empowered leaders and gave them the resources to plant these churches. Now we have over 7,000 churches in Kenya, all throughout Kenya, and we give God all the glory.

But that’s what I do is I equip leaders for the work of ministry. And so when I am governor, I’ll have the privilege of appointing 3,000 people in my administration. Now cabinet members obviously have to go and be vetted through the Senate, state Senate. But I want to appoint people that are righteous integrity. They don’t have to be evangelical, but if they have values that I believe share my values and they are integrous and they have the skill set and the intelligence to do a great job. I want what’s best for California and I’m going to hire them.

And I think that’s what I’ve done now for 46 years in ministry and 47 years of being full time, about 46 years of being ordained. And so I lead a network. Our church is in seven, with six campuses right now. And we’re planning a new one at downtown la, we’re in Orange County, Irvine, we’re in Riverside and Corona, we’re in Sacramento, we’re East Bay, the San Francisco area. And then our main base is Pasadena. And one of the things that I’ve done, and again, I want to practice what I I preach and I preach stewardship in our church and in my personal life.

By God’s grace, we’ve never been in bad debt. What I mean by bad debt? No credit card debt, nor car loans, school loans, zero. We paid everything in cash. The only debt we have is our mortgage. We vested in real estate. And those, they’re like a bank for us. Was there a very low interest when we got it? And we’ve used the equity to purchase other Homes. So I’m a businessman, I’m a marketplace. I think I got that from my parents who owned a restaurant. Father on my mother’s side was one of the wealthiest in all of Korea.

And so that heritage that I received has caused our church to prosper. We own the Ambassador Auditorium, which is called the Crown Jewel. Pasadena is a 45 million dollar building, beautiful facility. Beautiful. And so what an honor to see my church and lead the church into being blessed. And that’s what I want to do. I want to see the people of California get blessed. I want God’s favor. And that’s the bottom line. We need God’s favor. You begin with 2nd Chronicles 7:14. If my people are called by my name themselves and pray, seek my face, I’m not asking unbelievers to do it, but I’m asking the ecclesia, the church.

When I. The first thing I want to do when I’m governor is called for a day of repentance and humility, humbling of ourselves. And we’re gonna pray. I’m going to encourage people to fast and we’re going to ask God for his blessing to. That’s right. That God will shed his grace on California to make us golden again, to make us great again as a state. And I believe that God wants that. I believe that’s happening on a national basis with President Trump, but now is coming to California and it’s now such a time as this for California, for such a time as this.

So beautiful. So Doge, if you have the ability to doge California, pull your team in, where would you start? What’s the first thing you’d Doge? I would start with a bullet train. That debacle, as you know, and a feeling we passed the 40 billion dollar bills up to 100 billion and we have nothing to sell for it. I want to audit that. I want to find out where the money went. I want to prosecute any corruption, anyone stole that money from the tax dollars, hard earned money from the citizens of California. And I want to begin.

I’m going to ask Robert Vaughn, who is the cabinet member in charge of DOGE since Elon Musk stepped down. And I want to ask council to set up a Doge. That’s the Department of Government Efficiency in California. Because I want to go line by line and see where there’s waste and cut out the fat so that our money can go to people instead of highest taxes in the nation. It’s evil because we’re the wealthiest and yet we pay the highest taxes. And so I want to see the blessing come to people and for them to prosper, because this, again, I think is absolutely.

And just that 30% of California and the richest state are living in poverty level. Yeah. Isn’t that the truth? Isn’t that the truth? And now I know I’m going to get persecuted like Elon Musk and President Trump did. But a lot of times we have to do what’s right. And, and I feel right. When I sued Governor Newsom, I got a lot of criticism. The media was all over me. But I have faced that. And I feel that God’s given me the grace to, to have courage, to make tough decisions, because that’s what we need to make is tough decisions in California.

Wow. You know, it’s funny because my next question to you before we go into a quick thank you to our sponsors and then close up the show. Don’t go anywhere yet. But my question was about you fighting for us. And this was my question. What bullets have you taken for the people of California that proves that you will fight for us as governor? If it sounds to me that when you took a stand for our freedom from the draconian lockdowns, those were some of the biggest bullets. Absolutely. Because I lost in the lower courts. I was going to go to jail for one year.

I joked with my wife, I said, I have all these books. I need to catch up, and so I’ll read the books when I’m in jail. But it was very. The reality is. And she hit me and said, your grandfather, the. You’ve got to think about the grant because you can’t go to jail. You’re a pastor. You have responsibilities. And again, by God’s grace, I went to the Supreme Court. But can you imagine they give you the date that they’re going to arrest you. I’ve never been arrested as an adult. As a juvenile. I was. But I didn’t even know what the bail was.

So I had a checkbook in one pocket, $2,000 in cash in the other pocket, waiting in my house to be picked up because they gave me the date that they were going to come and arrest me, but they didn’t come. And the reason why, because I didn’t know that the Supreme Court picked up on the case and they can’t arrest until the Supreme Court. It’s just a grace of God. And by. But I was willing to go. So as far as taking the bullet for freedom in California and for the churches, as a pastor, I, I felt like I needed to lay down my life for the church to be able to meet.

And by God’s Grace, we won 6, 3 in the Supreme Court on February 5th at 2021, right after the lockdown. And as a result of that, in perpetuity, churches have to be open. There can be no governor or even a president to lock down when there’s another covet. And so that’s the landmark case. And, and again, I, I feel that the Lord led me to do it. He spoke to me, gave me great attorneys and great counsel and by God’s grace, I took a bullet for, for the Lord. I feel really, honestly, honestly, it’s for Jesus.

But the benefit of it was for our church, of course, and the people and other churches in California. That’s the leadership we need to take our God given power back. You know, we’re at the middle point of today’s show and our ending is short and sweet. We’ve got some powerful questions though that we’re going to finish off with in just a moment. I’m going to release you Pastor, for just a few minutes and then I’m going to bring you back in to close the show. And I gotta tell you, you’re doing a phenomenal job by the way.

Oh, thank you, thank you for the encouragement. I’m not a politician. I’ve never run for anything. I’m a pastor. But I believe that God has called me and so he’s given me grace. So thank you. Yes, he has. And everybody can go to che4ca.com that’s che4ca.com to do a deeper dive. But stay with us. We’re going to take a moment just to share about the showdown coming up. Pastor Che, Dr. Che, I’m going to give you a moment to go catch a drink of water. I’ll see you just a moment. It so good, you guys. Wow, this is one memorable show.

And I’ll tell you what, you can’t build a house without a foundation. The foundation has got to be solid. The foundation has got to be immovable. The foundation has got to be where it is, firm. And I think we’re beginning to see what’s required, required of taking our California back. That we’ve got to put a stake in the ground, we’ve got to stand firm, let nothing move us. You know, the Bible says let nothing move you. Give yourself fully to the work of the Lord. Right? That’s what it means to truly stand firm. And I’m impressed, I’m really impressed by Dr.

Che. Now first, first of all, California is What I’m getting today is our state is hurting, right? And we have been listening to candidates since April of this year. Those that are running for governor. We’ve heard their fight, what they’re willing to do to take a stand for this state. But the reality of this state is homelessness, for example. It traps 180,000 souls. Crime makes our cities unsafe. Human trafficking preys on our children. And we all just heard how Newsom’s gerrymandering threatens our vote. And bills like AB 1955 steal parental rights. And bills like AB495, deceptively called the family preparedness act plan strips parents of their rights, allowing unvetted strangers to take custody of children without consent, endangering our kids under the guise of compassion.

It’s just pure wickedness. That’s what we’re seeing. We’re seeing high energy costs and regulations crushing families while crumbling infrastructure and sanctuary policies deepen the chaos. But Second Chronicles 7:14 gives us that hope, just like Dr. Pastor Chase said. And a reminder is it starts with us, that we lead by example. Servant leadership is leading by example. And this is the call to action for every single one of us. If my people says the Lord, the creator, the God of the universe who called us by name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways days, then, then, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.

California, California, it’s time for healing. Pastor Cheyenne’s vision, the courage to lead, the vision to reform seems congruent with this call. We’ve been speaking with Dr. Pastor Cheyenne, a leader with the courage to lead the vision to reform, ready to fight homelessness, trafficking, crime and new celebrities policies while protecting families and cutting cost.

California’s future is in our hands. Let’s bring Dr. Pastor Chayon back into the room. Thank you Kim again, what an honor to be with you and you’re amazing. This is the first time I’ve seen your show and thank God for you. You are an Esther, modern day Esther and you’re called for such a time as this. So transform California so, so thank you for loving God and serving this great state. Oh, I’ll tell you, it is an absolute honor. You know the Bible says that, you know he talk, it talks about being surrounded by the cloud of witnesses, right? There’s power.

When we look at Aaron and Miriam in the Old Testament who held up the arms of Moses, it allowed God to mightily work through to reach the hearts of the people and to bring those into the promised land. That made it to the promised land, but it took the people, it took us raising our arms up, holding one another’s arms up. So Pastor Che, you taking on this role as governor, what is the first thing that you’re gonna do once you are elected as the governor of the great golden state of California? Well, like I said, I’m going to call for a psalm assembly.

I’m going to call the state of California, the believers to gather together their churches, their homes, if they can gather together with other churches in a stadium, for example. Because I’ve done these prayer stadium events as the president of the call from 2000, 2003. In fact, we organized the largest youth prayer gathering in the history of America on September 2, 2000. We had 400,000 plus young people come together to repent on behalf of the sins of America. Repent for Roe v. Wade. And I really believe that we turn things around because Roe v. Wade has been overturned.

But even when you go into that solemn assembly before that gathering, the Call gathering in Washington D.C. the staff that show that majority of the people were pro choice. But after the prayer call movement, the gospel show that there was a shift and that’s what we have to see is a shift in values in our culture in California. And I believe that that way that’s going to happen is by God’s intervention showing mercy. And so I’m asking believers to come together to humble themselves and pray and ask for God’s favor, God’s mercy because we need his blessing and, and again righteousness exalts the nation.

We need his blessing to accomplish the tasks. Obviously I’m going to deal with the economy as I shared with you and, and the, the high taxes, the high regulation that’s hurting a common person. 30% are in poverty level because they can’t afford to pay their electricity bill, their gas bill and it’s just the energy crisis. And also we need to think in terms of long term. I, I, I want to be prophetic. I, you know, for example the water infrastructure, we have water with the aqueduct system that are just a marvel. You know, it’s like the seventh wonder of the world.

But it was created for 20 million people and now we have 39 million. And so we knew to think in terms of raising the dam level of certain dams and the infrastructure or even fixing the dams because the infrastructure the dams are in danger of. And then we need to build a reservoir. It’s going to cost a lot of money but we have to think in terms of the future and it hasn’t really been done since Governor Brown did the former first one. And so I want to build a reservoir for water reservoir and then I want to deal with policies that hurt the economy that the again I’m for creation care but it has to be balanced.

I don’t want the extreme environmentalist policies where you know, we can’t let water to build up because we need to release them because they’re getting too warm for the smelled fish and, and a certain, you know, salmon. Right, right. And so we’re dumping all this water into the Pacific Ocean and water is life here in California. We want is life. Yes. San Diego is totally dependent on water that comes down from the north and so all of Southern California. So I just want to appeal to allow me to bring common sense, a balance back the wisdom.

I believe this comes from God because my motivation is out of the betterment of the people, the citizens. I want to help people to prosper, to live the American dream like I have have because I love it as governor, where will you stand firm and not compromise on your core principles? And where might you find common ground to unite Californians and address our state’s challenges? Well, let me talk about the uniting first. I believe that most of our people are for parental rights and safeguarding our children. Children. And as a parent, as a grandfather, I want to make that a high priority to unite everyone together.

I feel that our School systems are an embarrassment, to be honest with you. We pay more per student. I believe it’s 26,000 per student and we’re number 40th out of 50 states and test scores. And we feel, I feel that we have to have school choice and freedom to choose the schools. We, with financial help to get the market more competitive so that the, the teachers union will realize that we’re losing dollars and we need to make changes and we got to improve. And, and I, I want to end the ideology of dei. I feel whatever the left touches is ruined because the whole diversity inclusion and I believe in equity inclusion, I believe.

But I want to want equal opportunity, not equal outcome. I want to give people an opportunity to grow and to learn and to flourish in California. But the DEI thing is just on, you know, just quenching creativity and growth and opportunity in the school system. And so we need to get that out of the government. And I’m so glad that President Trump is leading the way and getting that out. I just saw that that again, he’s getting that policy out of the nih and of course he got it out of the military. And we need to bring back sanity and common sense into the education and to the government.

Our focus is not on protecting the citizens, the police and the fire department. It was dei. And I feel that’s really destroyed the morale because of you. Everything is equal outcome and there’s no equal opportunity. It demoralizes the workers. And I want to give people incentive to give their best, especially for the cost and citizen protection in California. So these are some common sense things that I’ve observed and I know it’s not popular with the left, but again, I’m going to take a stand for truth because I believe the truth will set us free. That’s in John 8:32.

And I believe that the truth that we bring with policy and common sense will bring about blessing and prosperity to this great state. Wow. Powerful, powerful, powerful. Absolutely powerful. So you’ve got a call to action for the people right now. There are people that are listening from every state across our great nation. Because what happens in California will make its way to your backyard if we don’t nip it in the bud and take our California back. So, Dr. Cheyenne, what are your words, your call to action for California and every great state in the United States of America? Well, I’m going to ask all the believers to pray for California because the Bible says in Mark 11, my house would be a house of prayer for all nations.

And like California is like A foreign nation. You know, it’s like a Marxist nation and yet it’s the most wealthy, the most powerful. We have Hollywood, we have Silicon Valley, Fresno county, if it was a nation, would be the fifth richest agricultural nation with over 200 produce produced in Fresno County. And so we need California to, to, to be golden again, to bless the rest of the United States. The beautiful thing about this campaign when you run for governor you could receive support from anyone in all 50 states. And so those who are watching, one of the call to action is to give because it’s going to take money to win this election.

We’re talking about the fourth largest economy in the world if it was a nation. And it’s not going to happen cheaply, just the cost of commercials because I can’t reach 39 million just doing town halls. I can’t just go knocking on doors with a short time that I have. I have to use media. And so I’m going to put a good portion of my budget into television, social media. But I need your support and I want to encourage you if you are able to give the maximum amount, the maximum amount is 39, 200 per person. We’re talking about 78,000 as a couple.

I know it’s a lot but it’s for a cause that I believe will bring reformation to America. And so I’m asking you boldly, please pray about giving to this campaign and do the very best and to give the max if you can. Che4ca.com Please give and support Dr. Che and this campaign to take our California back. That is is Che the number4ca.com Dr. Che, what an honor to have you here today. A warm place in my heart. Thank you for being a stand for truth, a stand for freedom. Thank you for your love for God. Thank you for the love of people.

Thank you for your servant leadership. Thank you for your daddy and generations prior. Nothing happens by chance sense. Just like we said at the beginning, you can’t make this stuff up. God times for us. Well, thank you so much for having me Kim. I mean that you’re a blessing. I, I’m so glad that we’re so like minded and we’re fighting for the freedom and faith for our state and our nation. And above all thank you for fighting for the families of California. Yes. Come on. And thank you. And we’re gonna see you nov 8 your power pack California Governor Showdown.

I’m so excited. God bless you very soon having me. It was an honor. Thank you. Oh an honor too. Thank you. Thank you Guys. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. That’s a big wowza Kabowsa. You know, you can tell I got four kids, right? They’re all grown up. But I’ll tell you what, times like this ignite that little kid in all of us, you know, because, you know, we that love this country and that love our state of California, we. We want our kids to experience that sense of freedom. We want them to be able to run outdoors and not be so worried that someone’s gonna snag them or something’s gonna happen, right? Or if we send them to school that, you know, somebody can sign them out that’s not the parent.

Like, we want to make, make sure that our kids are safe, that they can play outdoors, that. That our nation is safe, that our borders are safe, that we have a structure, a foundation that works, right? And a leader in place governing who’s led by we the people. We the people. He hears our voice or she hears our voice. Whoever that leader is, that’s what we’re standing for. That’s why these face offs are so important. The Bible says the heart is deep waters. A wise man draws out the heart. My prayer is, God, give me the wisdom and discernment to draw that heart out, because that is where you will see whether somebody is truly a stand for truth and for freedom.

And we saw quite a lot of truth and freedom today. An honor to have had Pastor Dr. Chef on. Now, with that being said, my freedom loving, patient patriots, we got to experience true leadership today. So Californians, remember, there are early bird tickets for you right now. And for those of you from another state, from another state that are looking at this like Washington, that are going, oh, my gosh, Maryland, New Jersey, I want to do what California is doing. The people are rallying together. We the people are taking our California back. General Flynn says local action equals national impact.

We bloom where we’re planted. We take our cities back, our counties back, in our great state back. And it starts with every single one of us. Not everybody has the platform I have, right? But there was a point where I was just a mom. I didn’t have this platform. And was I willing to stand up then? Yes, I was. I did the best I could with what I have. We all do now. We’ve been exposed to truth, and now we have vision, and we’re seeing what’s possible. The Bible says where there’s no vision, the people perish.

And Habakkuk, it says, write the vision, make it plain so that he who reads it may run with it what’s your vision for the great state of California? You write it down, speak it out, declare it. Remember words have the power to bring life or death. The words we speak are the choice morsels will eat. So begin to speak. Life over your city, life over your state, life over this country. And together we will take our California back. We will take our great state country of America back. Back. Californians, this is our time to rise up.

Pastor Chan’s vision, the courage to lead the vision to reform tackles homelessness, trafficking, crying nuisance failures, from gerrymandering to crumbling infrastructure like the dams. You talked about high cost to sanctuary policies. California is hurting. It is evident, it is clear. But we have the opportunity to take action. We have the opportunity to implement 2nd Corinthians 7:14 from the Bible and we’ll finish with this. If my people who are called by my name, the Creator, our Lord says will humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways. Starts right here with repenting right here. He says if we pray and seek his face, turn from our wicked ways, then and only then, then and only then, then I will heal their land.

Come on California, come on, it’s time for healing. And he says he will forgive our sin. That’s huge. We are the trailblazers, the people. We see what’s possible and we’ll implement God’s call to action. It’s time for California to put God back in his rightful place and to take our God given power back.
