Super useful inexpensive tool youll need for your backyard farm or homestead

And then I, maybe I overdid it, I’m not sure, but I went ahead and got this bigger one. This also can collapse down. This, I think, is more like for, unless you could catch stray dogs with this thing. Anyway, I came with it also collapses down. It came with this pretty cool case. I wanted to show you one of the really great things that came with this one is you can take the net off and then this tool right here is super, super, super useful. Again, that folds up and you can just put it in that little box.

It’s this, it’s a little hook that you put on the end of a stick. Honestly, you know, I don’t know what this cost on Amazon, $30, $20 or something like that. This is extremely useful for catching poultry. And what you do is you, you hook their leg with it. And especially like a doctor or chicken, they have those big feet. And this is a really, really great way to catch poultry. So super effective. Yeah, so this one kit came with the hook, two nets and then this stick and pretty lightweight and, you know, long enough, I think.

But this, this is fantastic. You know, yeah, you can catch them. It’s really helpful if you have two or three people. It’s kind of it’s going to take you longer if it’s just one. If you’ve got a net, it makes that job so much simpler and easier. And yeah, I, you know, homesteading in Texas, used it pretty regularly. Stuff gets out, things happen, right? And you need to get it. So there you go. That’s just a super useful tool for a backyard homestead. Again, really, you need to start growing your own food.
