Sheriff Mack says If Im an Extremist Than Forefathers Were Far Worse

I mean, enough’s enough in this world, and it’s too late to be polite, right? I mean, really, you can be polite till the end of time. So I agree 100%. So what is your feeling about the number of sheriffs that might be able to be participating now? And I want to go into this because we have a lot of publicity that I see is happening in the state on your behalf, from, you know, outside sources, from articles written by people and so forth, groups. So what do you think? Do you feel like it’s going to bring a lot of sheriffs out? I certainly thought it was, and I hope it still does.

They’ve all been invited. So we’ll see who shows up. I know we have a sheriff coming over from Idaho, and he’s going to be one of our speakers and panelists at the press conference. Folks, that press conference could get pretty hot because I’m sure we’re going to get extremism from both sides if you want to use the mainstream political correctness of extremism. I don’t believe people who really are constitutionalists and are strict about the Constitution. I don’t believe that’s extremism at all. I think it’s Americanism. And so I’ve never bought into the thing about being an extremist.

And when I was first sheriff and I sued the federal government, people would call me an extremist. I would say to them, did you believe in the founding fathers and what they did for America? Oh, yeah, sure. That’s all I’m doing. So if I’m an extremist, then they were way extremist. And I said, and then I always quote Barry Goldwater, extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. And I’ve always felt that. And the founding fathers felt the same way. And they were very patient for a long time. For 10 years, they put up with all the abuses and the cruel and unusual punishment and the tortures and the imprisonment and just the crazy treatment from King George III.

And the Red Coast soldiers, the stockade. I mean, can you imagine being in the stockade? OK, you put your head and they lock you around your neck and your arms and your wrists and a three-day sentence or a five-day sentence. That’s a death sentence. You go to sleep and you choke to death, you know, and you’re so exhausted trying to stay awake. And in order to survive that, your relatives, your wife, your kids or whoever have to come and hold you up so you can go to sleep at night and then help you go to the bathroom.

And then if you’re lucky during the day when they’re watching it or whatever, maybe you can help him during that time. But folks, can you imagine being in a stockade like that? And I don’t know. Is that the right name for it? Yeah, that’s the right name. I think that’s what it’s called. I mean, a stockade was also a prison. It was also something in the stockade. But you know, I would I would hate to be in that for two hours, let alone two or three days, you know, which meant. [tr:trw].
