Sheriff Mack Joins Victory News Discussing Ice Raids DC Violence and More

Here are a Department of Homeland Security immigration raid on Wednesday. Landed 16 individuals in custody at a Los Angeles Home Depot. Fox News reports at about 7 a.m. the MacArthur Park area of Los Angeles. Agents burst onto the scene out of the back of a rental truck. A rental truck says migrants began scattering from the parking lot. Authorities say that territory is in the grips of the notorious MS-13 gang. Los Angeles Democrat Mayor Karen Bass reacted to the raid stating it raises serious concerns about racial profiling and said it may have violated a recent court ruling.

And joining us now is the former Sheriff of Bram County, Arizona. He’s a graduate of the FBI Academy and the founder and president of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association. Sheriff Richard Mack, welcome to Victory News, sir. Listen to LA Mayor Karen Bass criticize the ICE raid at that Los Angeles Home Depot. And it is hard for me to believe that that raid was consistent with the court order that said you cannot racially profile, you cannot racially discriminate. What I saw on the video, what I saw on the pictures that were sent to me looked like the same guys chasing people through a Home Depot.

So Sheriff, why do you think Mayor Bass had a meltdown over a legal ICE raid? Okay, because she’s a Democrat, and she still suffers from Trump derangement syndrome, which most of them do, you know, it’s really hard not to say that somebody’s going after illegal aliens, who 99% are from Latin America. It’s going to look a little bit racial because most of them are from Latin America. But the intel that they gather and the homework that they have to do in order to get the necessary paperwork and target the right people that are from El Salvador and are part of MS-13 and are part of gangs and are part of human trafficking, which they’ve proved over and over.

And then we still have Democrats supporting those people being in their community. Absolutely astonishing that the people of California are putting up with a so-called leader like Governor or Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom. Almost unbelievable. Now, earlier this year, you equated President Trump sending in the National Guard and US military to stop the LA riots with JFK bringing in federal troops to Alabama so black students could enter the University of Alabama back in the 60s. Explain your comparison. Well, absolutely. I mean, what are we really after in America? We’re after life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

When local officials violate those principles, anyone and everyone in the country should come in. Sheriffs should move in and take over. They should make sure that people are being protected and that their civil rights are being protected. When Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom refused to do that, of course, others have a responsibility to fill the gap. And that’s what President Trump did in LA. It’s exactly what President JFK did in Alabama against then Governor Wallace. He refused to allow these black students to enter the college of choice. JFK made sure it happened.

He’s an icon of the Democrat party. He did what was right, and so did President Trump. Sheriff, President Trump spoke to the press this week about a crime in Washington, DC, after a former Doge member was violently beaten when he tried to stop a woman from being carjacked. Take a listen. A bad situation, to put it mildly, and there’s too much of it. We’re going to do something about it. So whether you call it federalize or what a shame, the rate of crime, the rate of muggins, killings, and everything else, we’re not going to let it.

And that includes bringing in the National Guard maybe very quickly, too. Sheriff, President Trump is telling Washington, DC leaders to get violent crime under control, or he will. Your reaction to those comments? No, President Trump, because, again, law and order is the key. Ultimately, peace and liberty is the goal for all of us, and President Trump’s doing it.
