And I got to tell you, there’s nothing like bad digestion. It’s in your hands now. All right. We have an interesting, interesting set of information that’s come out. It’s a red alert. And this is a public service announcement of the Common Sense Show. And we need to take a look at something here. And I’m going to read some verbatim statements here.

Whole Foods. And I’m going to question their integrity here before we’re done, because they’re engaged in a business practice I do not like. Well, anyway, the US Food and Drug Administration issued a recall for Whole Foods frozen macaroni and cheese bites. It’s really popular. You go to any store, you see this. The 365 Whole Foods market small bites macaroni and cheese, which goes for $5 a box contains undeclared eggs and meat ingredients according to the FDA. People who have allergies to eggs run the risk of serious life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

This is a big deal. This is a big deal. I’ll tell you, you want to kill the Hodges? You want to be able to dodge the Hodge? Give me mustard. I know that’s the weirdest allergy you’ve ever heard of. I understand it. I first was, I don’t know if it was the first time I heard mustard. I was about eight years old. I’m in an elementary school outing. We’re playing softball. They’re serving hot dogs. I put the ketchup and mustard on. If I don’t exercise or really speed up my autonomic nervous system, I can generally get through it when I’ve consumed mustard accidentally.

Another time when I was in my mid-20s, I’m playing racquetball. I had eaten a hamburger that I didn’t know had mustard on. I went back and asked the restaurant, oh yeah, we put the mustard on it. I had a similar reaction. It was so bad that they thought they were going to have to do a tracheotomy. Listen, I’ve been down this road of not life-threatening, but near life-threatening event. If you’ve got that and if you have an allergy to those two ingredients that aren’t advertised as being in this product, well, now you have the ability to throw out the product and it should be thrown out. The effective dates were purchased between February 6th and March 11th, where the best buy date of November 25th should be thrown out.

This is according to the FDA. Now, here’s what really bothers me. Last week, Whole Foods acknowledged this and yeah, and here’s what they said. Show up at the store with the product and a valid receipt. Okay, hold on, hold on. You pop in there, you buy five of these babies saying, I’ll eat this over the next three weeks. How many of you would save a receipt like that? This is fraud. This is escaping responsibility by these people. I don’t like this at all. You show up with the box. If it has the effective dates on it, okay, it’s time to pay up.

They’re trying to minimize the payback by making an unreasonable demand because no one keeps receipts for a five dollar product. Well, I won’t say no one. My wife might, but she’s meticulous. Great with numbers, great with budgets. You know who does the finances and taxes in our family, but this is unfair and it needs to be addressed by the FDA. I don’t think they will, but it should be addressed. Say, hey, look, they show up with an unused box and it has the right dates on it. Give them their money. That really pisses me off.

Kudos to the FDA and what Bobby Kennedy Jr. is doing here, because although we don’t know who and where and what, but there are people that have egg allergies. I’m telling you, they’re saving lives by doing this right now. This is a good thing. This is a good thing and this is what he was put in office to do. Anyway, check out our newsletter.
