They first of all list the common wildlife in and around the river otters, coyotes, catfish, bull sharks. No, I’m not cussing. Bull sharks. Sharks like sharks in the ocean. That kind of shark. The source here is like Itzaca, but it goes all the way up the Mississippi River.

The states that are affected list. Look at this. This is incredible. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. I knew people after they saw Jaws, they didn’t want to get into a bathtub. They transferred to taking showers only. They didn’t want to get in the swimming pool. So if you’re going swimming, be careful. Now, let me say something about bull sharks till I go to two other areas that you need to be worried about.

Bull sharks don’t hunt humans. Tiger sharks do. Bull sharks do not. However, the water is murky and they’re not sure what you are. You represent a forum. You could get attacked and they could be very, very dangerous and fatalities have occurred. There’s even a golf course in Australia where sharks have made their way in. These sharks are unlike like the tiger sharks. They can survive in fresh water, not salt water. Now, you’re thinking, okay, Dave, what else do I have to worry about? That’s a pretty wide expanse of states. Lakes, not just rivers, folks. Lakes too.

Alright, in Texas, in the tributaries coming out of the Gulf, on the Gulf side, the Gulf of America, I’m proud to say that. The Gulf of America, sharks are spreading through the tributaries, becoming spawning areas. These bull sharks are spawning in Texas. This is absolutely phenomenal. And then there’s one other place that I think that you need to be aware of. And it’s in Virginia, in that particular area. Here, I’ll pull up a picture from the article right here. Coming into the rivers, into fresh water. Pretty amazing. Now, what do they look like? Right there. Pretty ferocious.

Now, remember, you’re not their choice of meal. But if they’re hungry, enough, they’ll eat anything. But the other thing is, like I said, a lot of cases, these are signs of mistaken identity. So this is something I hope that you take into account when you go swimming. Sharks are moving into the interior of the United States. Now, they’re bull sharks. And like I said, it could be a lot worse if it was tiger sharks. Then that music from the movie Jaws would be more appropriate. However, it’s still something to be concerned about. Thought you should know.
