Well, we have an interesting story here, and this is kind of short, sweet to the point. As you know, I am not a fan of the well, I’m not a fan of the UK. Starmer said one thing that I hope is true, but I’m not taking it for granted. He said, globalism is dead. I almost fell out of my chair when I read this, but I don’t think I don’t think that’s necessarily true.

And I think you need to be on your guard. And I’m going to show you what we’re in for in America if we do not pay attention to what’s going on in the UK. This is bad. I don’t know what you do if you’re in a wheelchair or you’re too fat to run or whatever. You have some disabling condition, but you’re expected to run and let the people have your way with your property and hope that you can get away without being harmed.

Because if you fight back, you’re held criminally liable. Well, that derived in origin in the UK where people have been sentenced for confronting burglars with butter knives. I’m not making that up. That’s true, true story. And sometimes a whole lot worse. Sometimes just your fists, which I don’t recommend. If you can get away, get away, your property is not worth your life. But you should be able to defend yourself if needed. But that’s not the case soon to be in California and in the UK. Now they’re kicking in the doors for people for their Facebook posts.

That’s been reported. We’ve seen that in the media. But I think this tops it all. When a parent is no longer a parent, and we’re beginning to see some of that mentality here in this country. But look at this. This is a tweet. Mother arrested and jailed for being a responsible parent. Do you want to know what her crime was? Her daughter had iPad out. She’s vacillating between doing her homework and being on the iPad for entertainment purposes. Mom thought it was important. Her daughter stopped wasting time and focus. Which one of us has never had a parent that did that? And thank goodness we did, right? Okay.

And we all aspire to be that same kind of parent to give a soft kick in the butt to our kids when they need it to stay on task to help them be the most they can be. I don’t think anyone of Reason argues that. But Reason is out the door increasingly in our government, particularly in schools, city councils, and states. And it’s really in evidence in Britain. They make up the rules as they go along. Mother arrested and jailed for telling her daughter and taking her daughter’s iPad away so she’ll focus on her homework. And she went to jail for this.

Are you in shock yet? Now this came from modernity, but this ended up on X, as you can see there from the symbol. This is unbelievable. This would happen. There was no reports of physical force. No abusive language. It’s just a parent being a parent say do your homework and we’re going to take away your distraction and you go to jail. This is why I tell you, you better get off your duff. You better get off your duff. And you better absolutely positively get to work. Because right now, if you don’t, we’ll go back to 2020 and there’ll be a downhill plunge from there.

The nanny state is here, along with other attributes we don’t like. And we need to guard against it. Right now, we’ve got someone who’s got their finger in the dike to keep the flooding waters back, so to speak. But is that true at your local level? Not necessarily. Will that be true after 2028? Not necessarily. Perhaps you should consider using this as a motivational force to get to work. You know what’s interesting is the famous sociologist, Amitai Etsioni, he said the family can exist without the state. But the state can’t exist without the family. So is this a destabilization move designed to promote regime change? Well, if you follow Amitai Etsioni’s famous quote out to its logical conclusion, it would appear that certainly is a chance it’s that way.

But what we do see is this is the abuse of the legal system, letting kids run amok, leaving kids to their own devices. Anybody ever read some of the works where kids are allowed to raise themselves beyond their own, become like feral animals? Have you read those stories? Lord of the Flies, you ever read that?
