And I bring this to you here. I’m making an appeal to calm the rhetoric down. The left primarily with woke policies, which are okay on their face, because we all appreciate diversity and equality. But it’s been taken to a point where one group is being pitted against another.

And oftentimes, not always, but oftentimes it’s on racial stereotypes. And I’m tired of it. It’s wrong. Now, the DOJ is looking carefully at the Cincinnati police to see if they’re going to handle this situation correctly. I’m not going to show you the video. It’s too upsetting. And it is too violent. We do show violence here, but not to this level. This is absolutely horrendous. And in this case, the inappropriate behavior along racial lines were several young black males attacking white middle aged and elderly tourists who were dancing at a club outside. But it’s not confined to it’s a black on white crime.

There were the protests that victimized Jewish students on prominent university campuses last year. Unacceptable. As if these Jewish students had anything to do with Hamas, Hezbollah, Gaza, the Palestinians, they had nothing to do with it. I don’t care what your flavor of prejudice is. It’s wrong. And I’m tired of it. And I think I represent a growing body of Americans that when you see it, it needs to be dealt with forcefully, legally, of course, but to the fullest extent of the law. And when we see people victimize people, particularly on racial grounds, and I’ve hated the designation of hate crime because crime is crime is crime.

But you know what? I’m changing my mind on that now. I’m changing my mind on it because I’m seeing a bigger polarization in America right now. And our country needs to send a message. We will not tolerate this. No, we’re not going to tolerate simple assault, regardless of the backgrounds of the people. But in particular, we’re not going to tolerate assaults based on race and nothing else. And I don’t care which way it goes. All of it is wrong. All of it. We need to call it out. We need to condemn it. We need to indict it.

We need to punish it. Any disagreement? Because the minute we stop doing these things as responsible citizens and a responsible society and sending perpetrators like this to prison for a long time, then we stop becoming America.
