Summary
➡ The text discusses the potential for societal collapse due to factors such as dependency on long-distance food and water shipments, a fragile delivery system, lack of survival skills among the population, and government actions. It suggests that in the event of a disaster, most people won’t survive due to these vulnerabilities. The text also criticizes the government for prioritizing its own survival over the people’s, and for not preparing citizens for potential disasters. It ends by emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and security, and suggests that people should learn survival skills and prepare for potential disasters.
➡ The text discusses the perceived erosion of citizens’ rights and the increasing power of the government, suggesting that both political parties are ignoring constitutional limits to gain votes. It criticizes the high rate of imprisonment in the U.S., arguing that it’s a financial incentive for private companies. The text also proposes a controversial solution for dealing with prisoners during a societal collapse, suggesting that dangerous prisoners should be executed and others released. Lastly, it advocates for investing in physical precious metals to reduce dependence on unstable financial systems.
➡ The speaker believes that in a societal collapse, violent prisoners should be executed to prevent them from causing harm once released. They also express frustration with healthcare mandates and the high cost of medical treatments, arguing for more personal freedom in health decisions. They criticize the government for prioritizing re-election over the welfare of the people, citing examples like inconsistent food recommendations and funding for potentially dangerous scientific research. The speaker advocates for term limits to prevent career politicians from exploiting their positions for personal gain.
➡ The text discusses the growing feeling of helplessness among people who believe they can’t change anything in their society. It suggests that the U.S. is in the early stages of a civil war due to divisions and disobedience of laws considered unconstitutional. The text also mentions the Constitutional Alliance’s plan to fix the government and Charles Murray’s book, which encourages Americans to stop obeying unconstitutional regulations. Lastly, it discusses the potential triggers for a civil war, such as elections or new laws, and the importance of self-defense and survival in such scenarios.
➡ The speaker discusses the challenges of survival in urban and suburban areas, advocating for rural living and self-sufficiency. They criticize government regulations and laws, arguing they infringe on personal rights and freedoms. They share their personal experience of fighting against a property tax in court, and express frustration with the legal system’s disregard for the ninth and tenth amendments. The speaker also mentions their work on a model predicting the likelihood of societal collapse, and their involvement in a survival community and a constitutional alliance.
➡ The speaker believes that to avoid a societal collapse, political changes like term limits and constitutional amendments are needed. They also recommend subscribing to the ‘collapse survivor app’ for survival tips and alerts. They predict that in the event of a collapse, big cities won’t recover and people will need to live in rural areas for survival. Despite the potential hardships, they suggest that the quality of life could improve in a post-collapse world due to simpler living and less government interference.

You can sign up for that as well@Sarah Westall.com and remember to give a thumbs up and to subscribe on the platform that you’re watching. Welcome to Business Game Changers. I’m Sarah Westall. I have Colonel Drew Miller coming to the program today. There are parts of this show I just had to kind of sit back and kind of smile and laugh and not that I was laughing at him, I was smiling because I liked somebody who is just so passionate about what the government is doing and that it needs to be smaller and they don’t care about you and why and and talking about it in such an articulate way.
And I was just like, wow, this kind of, this guy’s on fire talking about things that I talk about. But he, he’s doing it in such an articulate way about how the government is completely out of control. And he, this is his background. He’s, well, he’s a retired, he’s a colonel and he’s retired from the Air Force Academy. And he’s A Master’s and PhD in Public Policy and Operations research from Harvard University, which isn’t my, I’m not a big fan of Harvard coming out of COVID and some of the things that they’ve done. But that being said, there’s a lot of great people that come out of Harvard.
And so that’s not a strike against them. There’s really a lot of great people that come out of there. He served as an intelligence officer, then plans and programs officer in the Air Force, a research staff member at the Institute for Defense and Analysis and in the Department of Defense. He was a senior executive service member. He served with the Pentagon on doing plans for what happens if there’s a societal collapse. His whole thing is we are in the age of collapse and the Risk of society collapsing grows larger every year. And he’s going to make an argument why you need to be prepared.
You know my friend Marjorie Wildcraft, I just love Marjorie. We talk all the time. And she’s like, Sarah, she kind of yells at me, you need to start prepping and you need to get your acting gear and you need to be growing stuff. And she’s just telling you, I don’t care if it’s just one big ve. One vegetable garden. My kids are great. They do it. But she’s like, you freaking need to do it. And she’s right. We all need to be doing that just to be prepared for whatever the heck is coming. And this guy is going to be making an argument on it and why it’s your duty to disobey unconstitutional government orders.
He just goes off on that. And then he talks about how we are already in the early stages of civil war and that he’s concerned that depending on what happens, there could be something that triggers a full blown civil war. I mean, I. This, this is going to be an interesting conversation because he pushes the boundaries. He also has a very controversial take on what do you do when society collapses? What do you do with the prisons? What do you do with the hardened criminals? You gotta listen to that one. And I don’t know if I could argue with some of the stuff he says, but it’s just, you’re not used to people saying it ever out loud, you know, So I think you’re gonna find this at least interesting.
He has a book that’s out called Preparing to Survive in the Age of Collapse. He’s even making the argument that after, God forbid, many people die, if there’s a collapse, there will be a lot of death, which isn’t good. We, we talk about that a little bit. But after that horrific situation, he thinks that we actually might. Our quality of life might actually go up and we won’t be burdened by the BS that we’re burdened right now with government just grinding everything down. Halt. Halt. I mean, we have the Epstein class, the running government and the.
They just do whatever. They’re buying votes. They do whatever they can to buy votes. They don’t care about you. He, he explains how everything is set up if there is a collapse. Everything is set up to benefit the government, not you. So all of the tax money, everything goes to help them survive. And there’s nothing to prepare for citizens, which is absolutely ridiculous. But you need to know that because you’re on your own, father, mother, government. You Know, daddy government, those parents that you think they’re there to protect you, Zero protection. You are completely on your own if there’s a collapse in the government.
And that, that’s what I’ve been hearing. Like Marjorie, she says that too. You are on your own. Marjorie has a. And I have it on my sub stack, but I’ll put a link below. She had the Grow network, which is the largest food grow your own food network in the world. And she stopped doing that a few years ago. She kind of got. After doing it for almost two decades, she’s. I gotta move on. But she has her entire library that she’s available to you. And I can have a link below for that. And you can get it.
I mean, she’s charging people for it. So if you want to see it and learn. But everything about growing your own food, your chickens, I mean, just, it’s a wealth of knowledge. And all her videos, everything she did for decades is in this vault that she is making available for people. So I will have a link to that below if you’re interested. And I also did a, an exclusive with her on my substack. So if you want to see that exclusive with Mar surgery, you can see I’ll have the link below to that on my sub stack as well.
So let’s get into this. Hold onto your hats for this one with Colonel Drew Miller. Hi, Drew. Welcome to the program, Sarah. Thank you for having me on. You have a new book talking about their survival if there’s a collapse in the United States, how to survive that, and that governments are, especially the Western governments, are teetering on the edge here. Can you explain how you got to that point and why you think that’s happening? Well, there’s. There’s six trends that are discussed in the book. And the first one, and it’s probably the. The biggest driver of the increasing likelihood of a collapse is new technologies.
And I don’t just mean artificial intelligence, bioengineering, nanotechnology, advances in so many areas. And what they do is they give individuals the power to create weapons of mass destruction. You don’. You don’t need to be Genghis Khan nowadays. You don’t need a nation state, you don’t even need a terrorist group nowadays to alter H5N1 to make it human to human transmissible and probably 50% lethal in some of its variants. And when that happens, there’ll be a collapse. And when I say a collapse, I mean two things. Number one is the economy is not functioning largely because people aren’t coming to work.
But eventually, because when people don’t come to the work, the electric grid goes down, water systems don’t function, utilities break down, and then the second key part of a collapse is that law and order vanishes. And in the prepper industry, we used to say decades ago, when there’s no more food in the grocery stores because they’ll be looted and either legitimately bought out or looted in the first hours of a collapse, people will start realizing, hey, I’m, I’m running out of food or my water system shut down, I can’t survive. And at that point, they’re going to start looting.
And we used to say it was 72 hours to animal, meaning would probably take about three days before most people got to the point where they said, I’m not staying home. I’m going to go out and try to steal some food and water. We don’t believe that anymore. We think it’s more like 72 seconds to animal because people are aware that this is the situation we saw a little bit of during COVID 19, frankly, more from Portland, Oregon than from the virus, where people just go out and do bad things every night. You overwhelm police, they lose control, law and order breaks down.
And so most Americans understand that today it’s not that most Americans are prepping, it’s about one third now of Americans are estimated to be preppers nowadays. But almost everyone recognizes that when the grocery shelves run dry, when the grid goes down, when the municipal water systems aren’t working, people are going to start dying. And most people are not just going to passively stay at home. They’re going to go out and try to steal what they need to survive. And in the process, we call it marauding, people are going to die. So it’s, it’s new technology. Technology is driving a lot of that.
But the other five, these six trends total. So the other five we talk about in the book is that number one is people are dependent on these long distance food and water shipments. It wasn’t that way in the past. And then we have a very fragile, deliberately, by design, just in time delivery system. It’s more economically efficient. So free market competition drives you to having minimal inventories. If you’ve got extra inventory, you’re wasting money. So you’re not as efficient as a competitor or so even hospitals have minimal inventories just in time deliveries arrive. Well, in a collapse, no deliveries are arriving.
So that’s another reason why the economy will break down very quickly, is that’s the way our Economy is and then our population is so dependent. We’re not pioneers anymore. I mean Paul Bunyan up in your area of Minneapolis, you know, those kinds of skills are for 90% of the population long gone. People don’t know how to garden hunting and how to, you know, if I’ve shot something, how do I now skin in it and prepare it and not waste a lot of the calories. Those skills are largely gone. And then the government by design is setting people up for collapse, disaster.
There’s a whole chapter in the book that’s entitled 30 Examples of How government is Working to Kill Us. Not by some, you know, mean design. It’s just the outgrowth of a political system that doesn’t follow constitutional limits anymore. It’s all about the career politicians trying to buy votes for re election and they buy them with immediate benefit. They don’t buy them with things like hardening the electric grid. I mean we’ve had decades now we’ve known that the US electric grid is extremely fragile. Cyber attack can take it out. Solar flares, natural conditions from the sun can destroy our electric grid.
Physical attacks can take it out. We’ve had at least two examples. One was a Metcalf attack, that was over a decade ago in California. But there’s another one more recently, a couple years ago where there was a coordinated attack to shoot up the transformers at a grid power station. And the people looking at it said this was a practice attempt to take down the electric grid. You could do a lot of these attacks coordinated, especially key critical nodes on the grid, and destroy the electric grid. And that’s one of the reasons why we think there’s an estimated thousand plus Chinese agents in the US they could execute physical and of course they do cyber attacks as well to take down our electric grid.
And when you take down the US electric grid, it’s not just you, me who are screwed by that. Our military, it’s is basically can’t operate without civilian electric grid. There is no military electric system, at least not on bases. So you combine all these factors and conditions and there’s more, and we are set up for collapse, disaster, annihilation, most of the population. If it’s a grid down scenario or an H5N1 pandemic which the experts are saying is inevitable, it’s going to happen. When that happens, most Americans won’t survive. Well, I don’t believe in experts anymore. Like the experts can go jump off a bridge because everybody who’s declared as an expert, it’s an expert for the purpose of Some agenda.
But that being said, you are talking about many different things that are, I mean, that really are. I think society has been overwhelmed with doomsday, you know, kinds of things. And I think people are at the risk of just shutting down. And they have been because they’re like, whatever, just let me die. So what is it that, I mean, I mean, I really think that’s where people are at mentally. Not everybody, but a lot of people. So what is it that people can do? I mean, because we’re, we’re. Trump’s gonna, you know, just talked about the election integrity problems, you know, that we just have a complete farce with elections.
People don’t feel like they can do anything. Right. They can’t fix this total pure incompetence in our government, but they can do some things to protect themselves and families. Right. And that does your book lay out the thing? You know, one of my really good friends is Marjorie Wildcraft, who has the largest grow network and teaches people how to grow their own food, how to be really self, you know, be independent. She gets on my case all the time. You need to do it now. So does your book lay out some of those strategies? Sure. There are 11 survival requirements that are detailed and laid out in the book you’ve mentioned.
One of them growing food. Most of them are fairly obvious, food, water, shelter. But the most important thing is security. You have to be able to defend yourself because there are going to be marauders attacking. And if you do preparations, let’s say you grow a lot of food, stockpile a lot of food. If you don’t have strong security, you may be worse off. The reason is you’ve made yourself a prime target in a collapse. You’ve got food, so you have to be able to defend yourself. So you need, for example, AR15s what gun control advocates describe as, oh, you don’t need these military capable weapons.
You’re not in the military. Well, I may not need them right now in good times if I’ve just got one burglar trying to break into my house. But if I’ve got a marauder group that might be 30 people or more, they have AR15s and capable weapons. I need an AR15 and I’m sitting to you. I’m sitting today in Colorado. It is illegal in Colorado to buy large size magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. That’s what you get with government that doesn’t give a crap about constitutional limits, the violations of the Second Amendment. They say, oh, Drew, you can’t have AR15s, you can’t have large style magazines.
Well, I do need them in a collapse to survive. But again, our government is focused on doing whatever they can to get reelected. They don’t have any concern, any preparations for helping us to survive. But they have a lot of preparations for their survival. And it’s not just Mount Weather, it’s not just Raven Rock. Hundreds of government survival facilities for the top elected officials and the top officials. I mean the irs, they’ve got a survival bunker and survival plans. They’ve got stockpiled foods. There’s nothing for us. Furthermore, their executive orders. And the best book to read about the executive orders.
My book addresses them. But if you think I’m exaggerating, buy and read the book Raven Rock, written by a New York Times bestseller, professional reporter, completely honest book. He looked at all the executive orders and they lay out very clearly government agencies are authorized to seize food resources, anything they want from the private sector in a collapse for themselves. They’re authorized for themselves and they don’t care about. I mean, because the government should be there to help the people, but it’s just the opposite. They’re there for themselves and the people be damned. But you, the people need to pay for our existence.
Correct. That’s why you see subtitles on a lot of these books and documentaries that have been done about the. It’s called continuity of government. That’s the official policy. We got to keep our government in control. Well, there’s a legitimate reason to do it, but don’t do it at our expense. And that’s exactly what they’re doing. They are doing it at our expense. They are authorizing government agencies to take resources from private citizens if they need it for continuity of government. Their number one priority is protecting themselves. Not only not doing stuff for us, but using citizens as an exploitable resource to protect government.
I use the word perverted. I mean our government, I call it the perverted triangle. It is perverted, but you use career politicians, government government bureaucrats and lawyers. Since fdr, Franklin Delano Roosevelt forced the Supreme Court in a famous 19. Well, it should be a famous 1937 case. Unfortunately, 99 of Americans don’t know about it. But in the 1937 case, after threatening the court, not just with packing the court but with mandatory retirement that he was going to do. And there were, there were threats on lives of the Supreme Court as well. The Supreme Court basically backed down.
They said, okay, we’re not gonna, we’re not gonna, we’re gonna pretend the 10th a.m. the Constitution doesn’t exist anymore. The 10th Amendment says federal government can only do those things it is authorized in writing to do in the Constitution. That was the key, Number one key principle of American government is limited government. It’s not democracy. We’re a republic. We are not a democracy. We’re a constitutional republic that absolutely limits, or it’s supposed to did until 37. Absolutely limit government to only doing the things we the people say you can do do. But that was gone since 1937 on so they can do whatever they want.
And then the ninth Amendment is also fallen. The Supreme Court does not enforce the 10th or the 9th amendment. The 9th amendment says you don’t just have freedom of press, you don’t just have the right to bear arms and freedom of religion. You have hundreds of other natural rights, too many for us to list. So the ninth Amendment says you have a lot of other natural rights. Those also are the duty of government to protect. And today, since 37, it’s just the opposite. Government can do whatever they want and you have no recourse over them. How did we get to the point.
And you’re laying it out clearly, but I want to elaborate. We got to the point where the people are no longer relevant at all. And it’s just this rogue, renegade government. People like us get to the point where you don’t trust the government at all. The more you learn, the less you trust them. Right? And then the, the, the group that trusts them and wants to give them more power are the most ignorant of amongst us. How did we get to the point, though, where the government has gone so rogue, so against the people for so long? I mean, how come the people are, are, you know, how do we get to this point of feeling powerless? It’s the political system.
So you have two political parties and both of them violate the Constitution. Initially, it was just FDR and the Democrats. Eisenhower didn’t do the things that FDR did. But from Richard Nixon on, Nixon saw that, hey, you know, LBJ keeps winning with all these unconstitutional programs to buy votes. I’m going to start doing it, too. And he did. And now the Republicans do the same thing. I mean, Donald Trump does not defend the Constitution. He does not defend traditional Republican priorities of trying to limit government. Anything he wants to do, if he likes to do it, he’s going to do it, and the Republicans will back him up.
So both parties now completely ignore limits to government, and they’re just in a competition to buy votes because they’re all about getting themselves reelected. That is the Number one goal, and I’ve got a. It’s addressed a little bit in the book. Well, the book actually calls for civil disobedience because if you want to survive long term, you can’t obey the laws, you can’t obey the zoning restrictions, or you can’t put up a prepper facility. Even in rural areas of states, especially if the Democratic Party is in control, you know, the building codes add huge costs to your, your ability to survive.
You can’t buy antibiotics for people. We stockpile fish antibiotics because of ridiculous regulation. You want to get prepared, you’re going to have to violate a lot of government regulations. So we tell people you have the right to survive. It’s your natural right. They don’t have the right to tell you what to do in your home. It’s your home. And so we tell people you have to ignore government. Yeah. Who are they to tell you what to do? Who? I mean, it’s the perverted triangle. The more regulations they have, the more votes they can buy. The more jobs for the government employees.
Government employees are overwhelmingly for whoever is running for office. It’s going to give them more jobs and then it’s more business for the lawyers. There’s more lawsuits, more regulations. You know, the United States, we used to be the, the land of the free. We’re not. I’m going to ask you a question, Sarah. Name the country that has the highest rate of per capita imprisonment in the world. What country? The US and it’s the United States. The sad part about that is that there’s a financial incentive. Not only, only, not only is there so many laws and regulations you could break, we’re all breaking them on a daily basis because you don’t even.
Yeah, but there’s financial or incentives because once you have that cash flow going with each prisoner, now they have all these, like, financial ways to make money off that cash flow from the prisoners. So they’re, they’re these finance companies like it too. It’s really sad. Now, companies exploit the system. They can’t change it either. So they do whatever they can to get the most money out of it. So private prisons, it’s a, it’s a big business for them, but it’s beyond that. It’s the cat. The cash flow from the money coming in every single month from every prisoner can turn into financial instruments and they can make a killing off of that.
While we’re on the topic of prisoners, I’m going to bring up probably one, probably the most controversial thing in my whole book. And Certainly the ACLU is going to hear about it and try to take my head off. But we have 2 million Americans in jail. There’s a million. We have a million known gang members. They’re going to be immediate marauders in a collapse. You’ve also got 2 million Americans in jail. And when the grid isn’t functioning, you cannot run a jail. When the water isn’t running, when guards aren’t coming to work, they’re going to get out.
So you have two choices. You either, you know, either release them or they’re going to break out. So a policy I and our government has zero plans, zero preparations to deal with. What do you do with 2 million prisoners during a collapse? Because you’re not going to be able to run a jail. So what do you do? Well, government has no policy, so I propose one in my book, and here it is. And a lot of people aren’t going to like it because again, it’s a collapse situation. What I propose is that we tell wardens and prisons across the US If a collapse happens and you cannot functionally keep your jail going, they’re going to get out.
This is what you’re going to do. You identify. These are prisoners that are too dangerous, too vicious, too bad to let out. And they when what you’re going to do is while they’re all locked down in their cells, you go around to cells with people who cannot get out and you execute them summary shot inside their cells. The other people who are not a threat are not as bad a threat. You release them because they’re going to get out anyway and you let them go. They’re still going to be marauders, but, you know, there’s a chance they may not.
But we have no choice for that. Our government is not preparing us for a collapse. They’re not having any policy to deal with it. It will not be possible to run a jail. You see generators at jail. Yeah. If they work, you’ve got maybe three days of power. But if without guards, you can’t operate a jail, period. And if you’re a guard at any jail and there’s an H5N1 pandemic spreading, there’s, you know, the grid is down. You have to worry about the marauder threat. You have to worry about, am I going to be killed trying to get to work? Someone’s going to rob me to try to steal any food or resources I’ve got.
Is my family going to be attacked while I’m going to do my prison work? They’re going to stay home and protect their family. Family, overwhelmingly that’s what everyone is going to do. So you cannot operate a jail in a collapse. Our government knows this, but they don’t do any policies for it because they don’t want to admit that they are not going to be able to protect you in a collapse. They just want you to re elect them, pay your tax bill, keep them in power. Everything will be fine. It’s a huge lie. People assume the financial system is safe, but then banks fail, governments freeze out assets, inflation quietly steals purchasing power, and then many people realize they don’t actually own what they thought they own.
Physical precious metals aren’t about getting rich. They’re about reducing dependence on systems you do not control. That’s why I work with Miles Franklin to help investors protect and diversify their wealth with gold and silver and other precious metals. They have a reputation of trust, they are transparent, they help people, they never scam you, and they treat you like a sophisticated buyer. If you want to learn more, or if you want a copy of their private price list which is not publicly available, go to sarah westel.com Miles Franklin. Fill out that form today and start learning how to protect your wealth with assets you actually own that can’t be taken away from a company you can trust.
So that is pretty controversial. There does make sense. Sense. I don’t know if I can argue against it. Are there any cons? Like government has been weaponized against us in so many different ways. Can that be weaponized? And that’s the only question. Is there a way to weaponize that concept that you put in place? Other than that, I don’t know if you can really disagree with your really controversial thing you just laid out. Who wants a serial killer running around? Well, it’s, it’s absolutely breaking the laws. I mean, I’m executing someone who, you know, may not be on a death sentence, even someone who could be in for 10 years.
But if I know as a prisoner that this guy’s in gangs, he runs a prison gang, this guy is going to lead a marauder group the second he gets out of this jail and he’s going to be out there killing people. Yes, I think that warden should execute him. The other part of this, this deal is they, they get, they get pardons in advance in a collapse situation. If you can’t operate your jail, you are pardoned. You can’t execut who in your judgment are too much of a threat to society to get out. Now the argument is, well, what if they just Pick someone they don’t like and execute them.
Well, yeah, they can do it. All kinds of shitty bad things are going to happen in a collapse. But compared to the alternative of letting the very violent, very violent people who are in jail and most of them probably aren’t. I mean, half of our 2 million people are drug offenses that I’ve heard that 70% might not even be guilty. Now that’s the federal, that’s, that’s the, that’s the problem you’ve got. Is there some people who are in jail for minor things and I would say release them, but the most violent, vicious prisoners, and by and large, I think the wardens are going to be very good judges of that.
I think they should be executed before you then, then you release everyone else to leave and go home. There’s some more details on it in the book. I’m sure the book is full of policies like that. Put a bombshell down, I guess. So one other thing that you said that I, I, now that’s something everybody can debate on. But you said something. I just want to control my own health care. Leave me the frick alone. I feel like we’re being mandated on what we can do to ourself and then and mandated through barring us access to things too.
I mean, that’s a way of mandating what we can do by making it so we can’t even get it or making it so expensive that only certain people can get it. And who are they again? Again, who are they? Because I think I just ran into a situation with my mom that I thought I ran into the most incompetent people I’ve ever seen in my entire life and they did nothing for her. And I always say a garbage man down the street using AI could have done better. And I believe that 100%. I don’t want people like that in my ever telling me what to do with myself or my family ever.
We should have more freedom than that. How did we get to this point where they’re literally being able to tell us what we can do to our own bodies at at while they’re argu arguing that abortion should be free? Now I, I, that’s a whole other thing. But I think if you argue that you can’t, you can’t tell a woman what they can do with their body, which is a valid argument, then you can’t argue on all of this medical crap that they’re pushing down our throats. Well, again, I said there’s a chapter in the book called 30 Examples How Government is trying to kill us and that this, this food regulations and is one of those examples one of the ways.
But let me start with a couple of the others. So number one is doing G function research, making more deadly viruses and then releasing that information. You can’t trust the government to do anything, right? Let me give you a couple of examples and I’ll come back to food. We are sending space probes out. We have been doing it for decades now to announce and map. This is where we are. We’re the third planet from this sun. Sending it out beyond our galaxy is the hope. So if there’s other intelligent life out there, they can see it and then come get us.
That is the most stupid thing in the world to do. That could get us all killed. If there’s a more advanced civilization out there somewhere beyond our solar system or beyond our galaxy, the last thing in the world we want to do is send out a signal. That may be one of the reasons, you know, the Fermi paradox, that may be one of the reasons why we’re not getting signals from other advanced societies. Because broadcasting where you are is suicide. Because if you do that and a more advanced civilization comes out and sees you, oh, this is an interesting planet.
What an interesting variety of rats and you know, bacteria. They may regard, regard us, we’re so stupid the way we regard ants and you know, bacteria and rats and things like that. They could see us as a resource to exploit or just something to exterminate. It’s, it’s insane to do it. So why does government do it? Well, the answer is the same reason they regulate healthcare. Anyone. They respond to special interests, they buy votes. So things that most people don’t care about, they’re not going to pay attention. So this group of scientists really wants to send out probes.
They give me campaign donations, they argue for it, I vote for it and I will now fund sending probes into space. Someone really says this kind of food is really good for you. This kind of drug is really good for you. Let me give you money for your campaign donation. May help you get reelected and you’ll vote for it. And that’s, that’s our government in a nutshell. It’s all about re election. So they do all kinds of horrible policies to buy votes and to get reelected. A lot of the, the drug regulations we have, I mean the food recommendations, just look at them over time.
This good for you. Ten years later, this is bad for you, this is good for you. Again, they don’t know. They can’t be positive and they are absolutely not making decisions based on what is best for you. We know they don’t do that. If they did, they would have hardened the electric grid 20 years ago rather than take money from utility lobbyists and not harden the electric grid. Everything our government does is driven by reelection and their best benefit. It’s continuity of government for them. They don’t give a crap about our lives over overall. And that’s why you’ve got healthcare regulations and sending probes out into space and doing not just h, not doing, just doing gain of function research here, funding it in foreign countries.
Sir, if you wrote a novel saying that, oh, here’s what happened. The United States gave government money to China so they could develop a deadly virus and then they used it to kill us. If you wrote a novel like that, they would say, Sarah, what a stupid novel. Novel. The US is never going to do that. What a dumb idea. But that’s exactly what we did. The US government did give money to Wuhan knowing that there was military viral research going on there. We gave them money. Why? Because some scientists wanted to do it. They offered support for the government.
The rest of the US didn’t know. They bought votes. Everything they do is buying votes. You cannot trust this government. That’s why I tell people in the book Stockpiling Food, I’ve got civil ground Patrol, all these proposals from improve our preparedness. But Sarah, the most important thing we could do to get the US prepared is term limits. If we don’t get rid of career politicians, you’re not going to fix this mess. We’re going to have civil war collapse and a government that prioritizes protecting themselves and you’re just an expendable resource for them, something they can exploit if they need to.
Just a short break from the program to share with you an amazing peptide to help you lose weight. It’s stronger than Ozempic and also why it’s because it not only reduces your appetite, but it also burns fat. These other GLP1s on the market, they do not burn fat, they just reduce your appetite. This one retatrutide is stronger. It’s considered a next generation peptide because of that. And man, does this work. I’ve been using it for two and a half weeks and I’ve already lost 11 pounds and I cut my dose in half because I was losing, losing weight too quickly and that kind of freaked me out to be honest.
And so I also am taking this 5amino 1 mq in capsule form. This helps by making sure that you lose fat, not muscle. And so in conjunction I’m using both of these. This will work whether you have this or not. And I am telling you it’s amazing. If you are interested in getting this, I have the link below or you can go to sarahwestel.com on the shop. You can, you can use the coupon code Sarah to save 10%. If you have questions about your own use, you should either consult your doctor or you can join Dr.
Diane’s tribe. And I have a link below to that. It is only a dollar for the first week. You can ask her any question you want and get all your answers to this. How to take an injectable and there shouldn’t be any fear in doing that. It is easy and straightforward. Go to sarah wessel.com under shop or use the link below and remember to use coupon code Sarah. How close are you do you think we are to civil war where people don’t think they can do anything? I mean right now there’s more and more chatter about that that they like we can’t do anything.
So I actually think you still can do some things locally but people in general feel like there’s, they’re, they can’t do anything. And we’re getting to a point where the only way you can do it is through, through hopefully not through force civil disobedience. But I, I, you know we, we get all this crap thrown down our face like you have to do all this stuff and like I don’t, I don’t want to participate. I don’t want anything to do with you. But you don’t have a choice. So many people. Yeah. So the, there’s, there’s an organization called the Constitutional alliance that I’m involved in it a bias disclosure.
They’ve got a plan in the Constitutional alliance to try to fix the government in the short term. The best ide what to do comes from a book written by one of the greatest political scientists of our era, Charles Murray. He’s at the American Enterprise Institute. And I’m gonna have the book in front of me right now or I’d hold it up for you. But basically the book he says, he says that the only way that the book is called we the People and I’m gonna mess up the subtitle. Maybe you can fix it when you edit this.
But basically says what what Americans need to do is just stop obeying all these unconstitutional regulations, mass civil disobedience but just refuse the regulations. So for prepping if you know, oh, I Can’t. I can’t add another building to store my supplies because even though I’ve got a rural acreage with 35 acres and no neighbors, the government says, oh, you’re only allowed to have one house and one out building, nothing else. If you want another building, put it up. Tell them to go frack themselves. Disobey regulations when they’re unconstitutional, disobey them. I mean, that’s what’s happening, happening throughout the United States now with these gun control laws.
They’re passed by big urban, democratically controlled states. And in the rural areas, they don’t enforce them. They do not enforce the gun laws. Most counties in the US Are not enforcing gun control laws that the state has passed because they think they’re unconstitutional. So disobey, don’t pay attention. And that’s an example of civil war. We are in early stages of civil war. That’s one example. Rural people are saying, take your gun laws and stick them up in appropriate place. We’re not going to obey them. And what are urban people doing when they don’t, like, you know, the, the federal immigration law? They’re saying, we’re not going to.
You want us to help you? We’re not. We’re going to disobey you. We’re going to give you sanctuary to people you call criminals. We’re going to give you sanctuary. That’s another element of civil war. The US Is in early stages of civil war already. But don’t take my word, my word for it. Ray Dalio, he’s the founder of Bridgewater, the most, probably most successful, largest hedge fund ever created. And he made his fortune predicting future events. He’s a student of history. He studies politics. And Ray Dalio has said for about two years now the US Is going to get into a form of civil war.
He says it’s over 50% likely because we are absolutely divided. We are divided. We’re already in early stages of it with those two examples. And elections, election, an assassination. We don’t know what the trigger event is going to be. It could be the November elections. Do it, because the Democrats are going to come back. You know, I’m in Colorado now, but I’m actually a Texan. The Texas succession movement. Texas is going to take off. I think after November. The Democrats win big. A lot of Texans are going to say, that’s it. You know, Trump failed us.
The Democratic Party’s back. We don’t want anything to do with them controlling the country. We’re going to get out. There’s already Huge support for the Texan movement. But it’s been kind of tempered by Trump being back in power. But with Trump, you know, and the Republicans on the downside, after November, you could see that kind of take off. And. And we did a. We did a civil war scenario when I say we. So I. I run Fortitude Ranch, the nation’s largest survival community, and we’re also supporters of an app called the Collapse Survivor App, and it’s mentioned in the book because it’s one of the easiest prepping tools you can get is to buy this app.
And it has threat alerts when Fortune Ranch wants to alert our members that, hey, we’ve seen a report reliable that H5N1 is spreading in Vietnam. You need to assume a pandemic is coming. Bug out now. But we also run training scenarios, because if you really want to prepare for a collapse, you need to think through the decisions. What am I going to do when there’s a marauder group breaking into my neighbor’s house? Well, we have scenarios that we. We’ve run civil war scenarios, and they’re not states fighting. It’s violence within states. So in one of the scenarios, it was in California, and the rural areas said, we want the state offices out of here.
We’re no longer going to obey any of the state laws. There’s a State of Jefferson movement already in California that’s been active, and basically states started splitting apart. It’s happening in California and Oregon. Yeah, they all. They want to just say, fine, you go be nutty, but we want. Just do your thing and leave us alone. We want our own territory. Correct. It just takes something to start it. It could be this election. It could be, you know, some. Some person gets killed. I mean, look at World War I. Some worthless Archduke got assassinated. Things just escalated out of control.
You ended up in World War I. So Civil War could start that way over some. Some assassination, some election, some new law gets passed, and then someone comes to enforce it from the state, someone locally says no. I mean, if you try, I could tell you right now from speaking for preppers, if you go into preppers and say, we’re going to ban your AR15s, we’re here to take them. If you’re lucky, they’ll just hide them. If you’re not lucky and you actually get a hold of them, they’ll be fighting. They will not let you steal their weapons.
So it could be something like that. I mean, Gavin Newsome, you know, he would love to start banning assault rifles, and you shouldn’t Call them assault rifles. AR stands for Armalite. It’s a company name. It’s not the name of the weapon. Assault means I’m doing an attack. I mean, we have those AR15s at Forte Ranch. They’re strictly for defense. We’re not a militia group. We don’t go out patrolling borders. We don’t take offensive action. We protect our survival. Community in a collapse, and we have to have weapons like that. We’ve got 50 caliber weapons in case some lunatic in an armored car is trying to break in.
And we will keep those weapons. They’re vital for our survival. We will keep our food. So if a National Guard unit shows up saying, saying, hey, we have the right to take your food. We want it. We’re going to redistribute it or use it for government, our answer will be no, we will not give it to you. We will fight to protect it. We’ll use it. We’ll use it for government. We want to use it for us. So you can starve. And government is just us wanting to do it because we already failed at what if we get to that point, we’ve already failed.
So, okay, we have, you know, we have states like Oregon who are. Who’s literally taxing, taxing water, things like that. I mean, what in the world are. Is going on in some of these states? Oh, it’s worse than that. I mean, they’ll regulate whether or not you can have chickens. And no, you can’t have a chicken on your house because you have to have it 15ft from the border. And by the way, most of these regulations, they’re most impactful on poor people because they have smaller property, they have less resources, they can’t afford these building code nonsense things.
You can double the cost of building if you try to follow building codes. They mainly hurt poor people. But there’s regulations on growing food. All kinds of people in Oregon, in this state and others have been forced to shut down their small farming operations because they violate some state government regulations. And that’s why I’m saying Charles Murray advised in his book, stop obeying those laws. If you want to put something up, do not go down and get a permit and go through all the government regulatory crap. You do what you need to do to survive. And if you’re in a big city or even a suburb, you might be able to survive there.
We’ve actually started a service at Forted Ranch called Fortitude Community, where we will help people try to do voluntary survival communities. But it’s really, really Hard to do in a city or a crowded suburb. Your best to get out to a rural area. And even then in rural areas where they shouldn’t have lots of regulations, they do. So you have to ignore those. As a prepper, refuse zoning, refuse building code laws. You have a right to survive. You have a right use your property if you’re not harming anyone else. And me, you know, not having stair balusters price 6 inches, I don’t do that.
I’m trying to get maximum useful space so I don’t have stairs that have the normal tread. I have steep stairs because I’m trying to minimize space so I have maximum food storage and I violate regulations all the time. And I tell state inspectors and, and city, county inspectors, you know no, not going to do it. And as more and more Americans say no, we’re not going to obey all these unconstitutional laws, the system breaks down. They can’t prosecute all of us. I’m fighting an ambulance case and you know, back to health care decisions. West Virginia in some counties has decided they’re going to also handle how I handle my ambulance care.
So I’m getting a property tax that’s called a user fee for a count. This is Hardy County, West Virginia. I’ll call them out right now they’ve got a law passed by two people. They violate, violated the open meetings law, passed this law to set up this ambulance authority. That was challenged in court. But the courts nowadays, they just back up government. Government controls their budgets. Yeah, they do whatever the government wants to not follow the Constitution because the government pays for them. Yeah, the courts are captured. I think they are. If the courts weren’t captured it could self correct.
But the courts being captured is a massive problem. They are part of the perverted triangle. Career politicians, government bureaucrats, lawyers. That’s who has ruined our country since 1937. It’s those three groups and the legal system no longer defends you. The ninth amendment is still there if you open the Constitution. Yeah, it’s this there the right to privacy, that’s in the ninth amendment. The right to use your personal property you want, that’s the ninth amendment. The right to make your health care decisions, that’s there too. It’s in the ninth amendment. But the supreme court doesn’t enforce it and now all the other courts don’t as well.
So I’m fighting this ambulance case in, in Hardy County. I’m up to the intermediate court of appeals just before the, the state supreme court. And I’m saying you don’t have A right to tell me about ambulance care I want to do. If I want to use the service, I’ll pay the fee if I want, but I don’t want to be forced to pay for it. And they authorized a user fee, which makes sense. Yeah, to charge for use, but it’s not a user fee. It’s a property tax. It’s assessed on my property, on having a house.
They violate their own state law. And so people that up to the government, to the courts to challenge and say, hey, the state law says user fee or service fee, but they’re assessing a tax on my house regardless of whether or not I’ve used or intend to ever use their ambulance. That’s not right. But oh, no, their government. Government can do whatever they want because there are no more constitutional limits to government. They’re gone. The ninth and the tenth Amendments are gone. The courts do not enforce. Enforce them. Government ignores them. So the only, the only you have is civil disobedience.
Stop obeying all these illegal regulations and laws. Refuse to pay the ambulance fee. That’s what I’m doing. I’m not paying it. I’m fighting it in court. They ignored me at the first judge was just a joke and he’s a debt collector for the government. I tried to make my arguments about the ninth Amendment. He cut me off. Then I went to the next appeals judge and his comment was, I’m not here to hear a civics lecture from you. So that was my case was just. It was a civics lecture and didn’t even want to hear it.
So now I’m at the intermediate court of appeals and they’ll rule against me. And then the Supreme Court in West Virginia will rule against me because I’m arguing the ninth Amendment. But as far as the courts are concerned in the United States, there is no ninth Amendment. There is no tenth Amendment. The federal government and state and local governments can do whatever they want to you as long as they claim there’s some public policy purpose, they can do whatever they want. And that’s not what our government was created for. Our government was created to protect natural rights.
And it’s completely perverted today because of the perverted triangle and our two horrible parties. Again, the constitutional alliance is an effort to try to get it done. I’m honest about it. The odds of us reforming our government, getting a convention of states done is pretty low. And it’s going to take a lot of time to do that to them. It’s years of effort to do it. And, and in the Book. There’s a chapter on the probability of collapse model. I’m an operations research background. I worked in the Pentagon, senior executive service. I was at the Institute for Defense Analyses, the top Department of Defense think tank.
And so I developed a model over a decade ago trying to estimate what’s the likelihood, the annual likelihood of a clock. And it’s, it’s, it’s inherently uncertain. I don’t know the probability that Iran’s going to release a deadly virus over here. It’s possible. So what we do in this model is we interview dozens of scientists, intelligence officers, people with different backgrounds, because there’s over 50 different trigger events that could cause a collapse. And then we ask them to estimate what’s the likelihood that this, this initial disaster or attack could happen. And then secondly, what’s the likelihood that it happens here in New York City, but it spreads across the US and becomes a collapse? And the models estimate, we just updated it again a little over a year ago.
It’s annual 16 to 57 chance of a collapse happening every year right now. So it’s higher. It’s highly answered. Oh, it keeps getting higher because of artificial intelligence, because of people being able to do things themselves. Hey, I want, I had to say one thing about the ambulance since you’re like, it’s, it’s you directly. I had the opportunity of learning about ambulances lately, right, with my parents, parents having issues and with all the money that’s going to healthcare and all the money that’s going to ambulance. They don’t put shock absorbers in those ambulances. So people are jumping up and down.
You got these people who are deadly sick. They’re trying to put in IVs and keep them alive. And they don’t even have shock absorbers in these ambulances. And so the people are jumping up and down. I, come on, can’t you at least put some money into the ambulance to have an environment that helps, helps the people? How many people died simply because they didn’t have that in the ambulance? Well, most of ambulances, because I’ve been around quite a few as well. My, my, my sister was, we were a paramedic. But I mean most ambulance care is provided by volunteer fire departments, especially in rural areas like Hardy County.
And they’re, they’re in Hardy county. And that’s the way you do it. You have volunteers do it, they get training. You have some paid staff. If you need it, you donate to them. I mean I, I would donate farmers more money to a volunteer ambulance service than I would ever agree to pay in taxes for it. But that’s the way to do it. Now a big city, they can afford to hire and have full time staff. But for most parts of America, volunteer fire departments is the best way to go. And frankly, most rural Americans are never going to use an ambulance.
They’re going to use their neighbors. Their neighbors are going to drive. That is the fastest, best way to do it. Not wait, you know, 30 minutes for an ambulance to get here in a remote area. It’s just, it’s just an asinine line law. But again, asinine laws, they don’t matter natural rights, they don’t exist in the United States court system anymore because of the mess that we’ve got. Okay, where do people get a copy of your book? You can buy it anywhere. I mean Amazon, Barnes and Noble, online, it’s, it’s, you know, it’s distributed by Skyhorse, it’s got the top distributors so you can buy it anywhere.
And where can they find you and maybe follow you and learn more about what you’re doing? For information on the book, it’s dremiller.com My name Fortisview Ranch’s survival community. Unfortunately, a government I don’t think is going to solve the problem before we face a collapse disaster is Fortuneranch.com and then the Constitutional Alliance. If you google that, that’s our political program that we’re trying to get going here to try to fix this mess. But you know, you have to have term limits. You’re going to have to have a convention of states, you’re going to have to amend the Constitution.
And some of the amendments we propose are obey the 10th amendment, don’t ignore it, obey the 9th amendment. You can no longer just ignore these things. And so it’s, it’s a political movement. But the odds of getting through are slim. And the most important thing that everyone should do, it’s $10 a year. Subscribe to the collapse survivor app. It gives you the, the same threat warnings we give to our four ranch members. We send it out to everyone. It’s not limited to forger Ranch members. There’s preparedness news, there’s those training exercises. You can get Wikipedia, not your phone, but on your phone.
And it’ll work when the Internet’s down, when the grid’s down, just your phone alone. It’s, it’s so miniaturized that and it’s got a map function to where you can find natural springs and water if you’re out on your own, which we don’t recommend, we recommend a survival community. But the collapse survivor app, everyone should be doing that because we are going to have collapse disasters. I think we’re entering what I call the age of collapse. It’s going to be multiple collapse disasters. The last chapter of the book is I think probably the most interesting because I get into to what’s it going to be like and I could tell you it’s not.
New York City is not going to come back. Big cities, no one’s going to go back to them after a collapse. You cannot survive there. You’ve got to be in a rural area, even you in Minneapolis. Minneapolis is probably not going to come back and certainly not at the population level. It was. You need to be more in the rural parts of Minnesota if you’re going to survive in the collapse. So our lives are going to change. We’re going to face, you know, daily risks of collapse disasters. But on the other hand, you know, the urban rat race and the political system mess we’ve got, that will probably be gone too.
So in some ways, you know, the quality of life actually might be high. It’s hard to believe this, but the quality of life actually might be higher in the age of collapse. You. I lost you. Are you there? I lost you. Oh, I lost you for a second. You said the quality of life will likely be higher. I. I’ll cut. I said the quality of could actually be higher in the age of collapse. Even though you face, even though there’s going to be collapses periodically and you, you’re always aware of the risk of them happening. And the reason is, is that people will adjust and a lot of the adjustments is you’re not going to live in a big city.
Our not government is not going to be allowed. People are no longer going to put up with the crap that our government gives in a collapse post collapse are going to focus on surviving and that means living in more rural rural areas, growing your own food, no long distance shipment of resources or at least not necessities. You know, be back to, you know, the middle ages where yeah we got spices, things we didn’t have to have to survive, but we got stuff China and silk from overseas. But you need to have your food needs to be locally grown and sustainable agriculture production, not huge amounts of fertilizers and, and seeds that you’ve got to get from a company, you know, half a continent away.
So the quality of life, you know, it’s rural, it’s going to be farming, it’s going to be, you know, having neighbors not dealing with the government crap we deal with today. So quality of life could actually be better in the age of collapse, despite a collapse disaster that might kill billions at the start of it. Yeah. Okay. Well, thank you so much for joining the program. It’s been an interesting conversation. Sa.
