Summary
➡ The discussion revolves around the issue of surveillance and censorship, and how it’s not a matter of political sides, but rather individual versus collective rights. The speakers argue that both government and big businesses have too much power, often working together to sidestep constitutional rights. They highlight the importance of valuing personal data and the need for businesses to compensate individuals for using their data. The conversation ends with the acknowledgment that while some people are starting to push back against these issues, the fight is far from over.
➡ The text discusses the importance of standing up for principles of liberty and privacy, especially in the face of increasing surveillance and control. It emphasizes that while fighting against specific issues like Flock is important, the broader focus should be on preserving fundamental rights like privacy. The text also highlights the need for education and awareness about these issues, and mentions efforts to help people protect their privacy online.
➡ The text discusses the importance of understanding and using technology responsibly to protect our liberties. It warns about the potential misuse of technology, such as surveillance systems, that could lead to a loss of freedom. It also highlights the need for financial strategies to maximize returns and minimize taxes. Lastly, it emphasizes the need for a community and live trainings to educate people about these issues.
➡ Our devices constantly collect data about us, creating a profile based on our actions. This can lead to manipulation, especially through platforms like TikTok, which uses AI to understand and influence our behavior. This can lead to radicalization and other harmful effects, particularly among younger users. The difference in content served to Chinese and American users of TikTok suggests this is a deliberate strategy.
➡ The text discusses the power of manipulation, particularly in media and social platforms, and its impact on society. It uses the movie “Trading Places” as an analogy to explain how roles and perceptions can be manipulated. The text also highlights concerns about the potential loss of privacy and anonymity due to proposed online child safety laws, which could require biometric identification for internet access. The speakers suggest that instead of implementing such laws, platforms should be held accountable for their manipulative practices.
➡ The Epstein class is hosting a webinar on September 9th at 7pm Central Time to educate people about online privacy and security. They will discuss how our privacy is being violated and provide practical steps to enhance privacy and security. The webinar will also cover the threats posed by government surveillance, big tech, and hackers. The aim is to help people avoid scams and protect their privacy online.

So the link is below and make sure you hurry because it’s only through Labor Day. Welcome to business game changers. I’m Sarah Westall. I have Glenn and Eric Meter. These are two people. I really like them, father and son. And Eric looks just like my son. He really looks a lot like my son, except he’s super tall. When you watch him on the show, he, you know, he just looks like an average. You’d think he’s 5, 10, 5 11, maybe 6ft tall. This guy is like 6, 10. I mean, he’s super tall. My son’s like 5, 9.
He’s shorter. But they look so much alike. It’s so funny. And I tell him that. But they are just great. They have the privacy Academy and they are on the forefront of liberty and freedom. But online, how do we maintain our liberty and, and freedoms in this surveillance digital prison environment that’s being created around us? And that’s what they help people understand. And they’re seeing that the people who care about this are from all walks of life, all both sides of the aisle. And we had a really good discussion on how people are realizing that it’s not left, right.
It’s who cares about freedom and liberty and that freedom and liberty is something that was once a basic American value. And what they’re making, what they’re trying to create are these two extremes. Online you have this really extreme socialist weird and we talk about a little bit some of these weird things that they’re doing on the far left and then they’re doing all the weird crap on the far right with all the trade know, the trad wives and Andrew Tates and just like who believes in that crap, right? And the majority of the people truly just want their liberty and freedom and they’re getting, they’re getting confused with these messages that are so extreme.
And we just want our liberties and freedom for everyone. Right, everybody. And that includes our privacy on the Internet and how do you do that? And we’re going to talk about these issues and how they’re targeting children which you know, there’s this big meta case that went, that’s gone forward. Well, why is that? How are they targeting kids? Which they’re very good and they are going to talk about what’s going on with kids compared to China. You’re going to hear how China protects their kids and we, our kids are just fodder. And I think it’s a national security issue.
I don’t know where our politicians, I don’t know where people are at, but it’s a national security issue to make sure these platforms aren’t abusing our children and messing them up. But they’re going to take this and force ourselves to have this digital, these biometric digital ID when there’s solutions that is don’t abuse our kids, right, don’t manipulate our kids and instead they’re going to say no adults can be manipulated and abused. But we’re going to protect the kids by giving everybody this biometric id. Meanwhile, we can still create this Orwellian abusive environment online and we’re going to talk about all that.
They have a webinar that’s coming up. I really hope everybody goes to this. It’s going to be on the 9th of September at 7pm Central Time. And we did one before but it was right after Trump won the election and people were thinking that surveillance was going to be taken care of and all this freedom and liberty was going to come back. But we’re now two years later and they’re realizing that all the stuff we were talking about years ago and I was talking about, I had my whole 10 part series, you know, on mind control and fifth generation warfare and all the stuff we talked about two years ago in this webinar, people are realizing it’s true.
They’re seeing it firsthand through the data centers, the Flock cameras. We’re going to talk about. There’s so much more. I’m glad people are realizing it. I’m glad people are seeing it. But it’s manifesting in ways that are just pieces of the puzzle still. Good because people are seeing it. But it’s important that you see kind of the bigger picture and how it’s affecting you in your everyday life and how you can protect yourself from that. So we’re gonna have the webinar September 9th at 7pm Central Time. You can sign up for for it by going to privacyacademy.com westall and sign up for it there.
And make sure you tell your friends too. Make sure you tell others that this is going on because it’s an important thing to participate in. Okay? With that being said, subscribe on the channel, whatever channel you’re on. Please subscribe. Please, please give us, give it a thumbs up. And this is not one that they’re going to promote. So just it’s going to be have to be a word of mouth one. And so I hope you do that. And please follow me@westall media.com as well. That’s my substack now it’s westall media.com I have ongoing webinars that I do and I have exclusives ongoing as well.
I’m setting up some new partnerships with people too. So I’ll be doing some joint shows with really fun people coming forward. You’re going to hear about that. So make sure you follow. Go to westall media.com and then also go to sarah.comshop and please support my affiliates there. That’s how I keep this show going. Okay, let’s get into this really lively conversation with Glenn and Eric Meter. Hi Glenn and Eric. Welcome back to the program. Hello. Thanks for having us on again. Two of my favorite anti scam people. I mean you guys are just awesome. You’ve helped so many people.
You had Andy Schectman and I talking about the scams in the gold market, which is you guys had probably 40 to 50 people come in just from that one show we did. And you helped a lot of people by. It’s not just the people who’ve already been scammed, which is really sad. We, you know, helped a lot of I’ve helped hundreds and hundreds of people with that so far. You know, sending them to Andy and His company really working with the people, but all the people who didn’t step into those traps because we’re sharing it. Yeah, absolutely.
And yeah, I want to thank you too, because, you know, when we, Glenn and I were approached initially to promote this and we understood the gold and silver area enough to see that it was too many red flags, like why would they pay us this kind of money? But we just weren’t able to piece everything together. So we spent some time looking on. In on it. And then you, you posted something with Andy and I watched it and you know, all the pieces click together. So it’s all thanks to you, really. Oh, well, thank you. I mean, it’s getting the word out, right? And, and just telling people to make sure you understand what it is you’re doing before you do it.
Don’t put your faith into somebody to that degree when it comes to your, your, your life savings and things that are really important to you. But absolutely, you guys are really focusing on surveillance and before we. And many other things. But, but surveillance is one of your big things is, is how do you keep yourself private? You’re the privacy academy, right? And you know, during, when I was unpersoned in 2020, just deleted off everywhere and it really opened my eyes on the power of big tech. Right. I mean, so I have been for six years. When it affects your livelihood to that degree, it changes you, right? You really start thinking about it and you learn things at a different level than you would if you weren’t so personally affected.
But I’m watching the, the. And that really came from the left, I think, or whatever it is. And now I’m watching everything flip. And the left seems to be very into anti surveillance and censorship and all these things. And I’m not even sure what I’m watching right now, but I’m, I am pretty sure you guys are seeing it too, and it’s affecting your business and who you’re talking to. Can you talk, just explain what you’re dealing with? Absolutely, yeah. So I think one of the best ways to talk about it is I don’t see this as a left or right issue.
I view it more as individualist versus collectivist. And I think at our core, most people value individualist traits. They’ve just been kind of sent into a left or right area. I mean, if you look at far right, far left, those are both collectivist ideals or, or I guess means to an end, maybe. But on the core level of it, I think people all agree for the most part that they shouldn’t be surveilled. But it also goes to show, like, what you’re, what you’re pointing out, how powerful they are at just flipping the switch. I mean, we’ve seen this over and over, over the last decade, how they’re able to just take one party and totally flip their views.
And it just keeps flipping and flipping and flipping. And I think at a certain point here, if you value being able to think for yourself, not going to align with either party, and you’re going to start thinking for yourself and try to be, you know, figure out where your actual principles come from outside of a party. Do you have anything you want to say, Glenn? Yeah. So the way I look at it is the left, the left are against surveillance right now because of, because Trump’s in power, you know, and the rights, the right was against surveillance when Biden was in power.
And it’s, you know, it’s, it’s a weird thing about human nature where you are principled when, when it’s convenient for you, but when your side’s in power, you just want to exert that power. And I think that’s one of the things that, Mr. The Great G, Edward Griffin had a great quote about this where he talked about, you know, we need to stop trying to put our guy into power and to give all of these, all of this tremendous power to the, to the party and to the person in power in the moment. And we need to start focusing on just, let’s take the power away from the government because the government, it, the, the government is, we have to be extremely careful about the power that the government has, and that is universal.
It’s not a left or right thing. Like Eric was saying, is we need to rein in the power of government. We need to be very cautious about surveillance on both sides. It’s, it’s not a left or right thing. It’s, we need to stop this surveillance stuff. Well, wouldn’t you say that it, it materializes from a little bit different perspective if you’re on the right or the left, and I don’t like the right or left either because I think it ends up getting to the same place. One wants big government, government to control everything, want to keep putting, we’ll give the people more if the government has control of everything the other one wants to do, claim free markets and there will be more freedom for the business if these large corporations have more power and are left on their own.
And then behind the scenes, the government and these big businesses are operating together. And you’re really Just giving more power, centralized power to smaller groups of people. And whether it’s government or business who work together, it’s kind of the same thing, right? Absolutely. Yeah. I’m all for the free market. I love the free market. I think it’s one of the pinnacles that America was built off of. But if you look at these big tech companies, it’s the government sidestepping the Constitution by doing these public private partnerships. And so I think we have to look at a business to see if it’s legal, what they’re doing, which I think a lot of them are disobeying our rights.
And then we also have to look at how the government interacts with a business in a way that, I mean, if you look at it, it’s just been. They’ve been very successful at just cornering the Constitution by this loophole that they have here. That’s right. I want you to explain what that loophole is. What were you saying, Glenn? Yeah, so I was just saying that we have to stop looking at big tech and big corporations as the free market. It really isn’t. They’re crushing the free market. The free market is exemplified by small business, and big business wants to crush small business.
And they do that by working with the government to do that. And. And this is why they collude with the government. I mean, it’s one of the reasons they collude with the government. They just. They want control. They want to crush the small guy. And they do that through regulations and all of that stuff. But then it’s like what Eric was saying, where the big tech has really become an arm of the government. And we have to. We have to look at it that way. Big. And we also have to stop looking at, like, other companies, like car manufacturers.
Car manufacturers are big tech companies now. They are. They are total surveillance. I mean, absolute surveillance on us all the time. No one pushes back on it at all. But also, you’ve got, like, big companies like Kroger. Kroger makes over a billion dollars a year through selling. I mean, total surveillance. People would be shocked at how much they are surveilled just as soon as they walk in the door. But it’s also, you have the app on the phone, the app’s spying on you. You walk in the door, every single thing you do, everything you look at, everything you pass through, pick up, whatever.
And Kroger is like a Walmart, Right. I don’t have Kroger in my area, but it’s a grocery store. Yeah, it’s A grocery store that has more than groceries. Right, Right. Yeah. We don’t have Kroger’s either. But I. Yeah, I mean, they have figured out like Walgreens, we go into Walgreens and we give them our phone number for what, like a 5 cent discount or something so that Walgreens can then sell our data. Sell. Sell our data for billions of dollars. It’s ridiculous how much money they’re making, but that we don’t value our data enough. We don’t protect it enough.
We don’t. And you know, you think of these companies and how much they value it. We need to look at how much they value our data and we need to start looking at it and saying, okay, we need to value our own data. Well, and they shouldn’t be able to make money on us. Right? I mean, they should pay us for that data is the bottom line. If you’re going to turn around and make billions on my data and then collectively all of our data, then that should. We should pay us for it or something. I mean, it really shouldn’t be.
Now, what we’re seeing with the Flock camera, it seems like people are fighting back, but it seems like a manufactured fight back in a limited way that really isn’t. It’s kind of like the data centers. I mean, it’s good that people are fighting back, but it’s like, well, it’s not really going to. I said it’s not going to solve the AI problem. I mean, you’re fighting back and you’re making sure that they’re engineering it properly. But they could do it in space. They can do it 100% distributed. And it wouldn’t. And it wouldn’t solve the AI issue.
Right. It wouldn’t solve the surveillance issue. But it is good that people are fighting back. I’m like, well, I can’t go ahead and do that, but it’s not going to ultimately solve the problem. Yeah, well, I guess what I would answer to that is one of the really cool benefits of doing what I do is I get to meet a lot of very smart people. And one of the biggest mistakes I think that smart people make is that they get so invested in something that they see something way ahead of the curve and it looks so much closer.
And so to us, it might look like it’s right around the corner, but to the average person, the awareness that they have is just so much different. I think we can kind of assign it the value that we perceive where it’s at right now. We just have to Take it as a win that they’re starting to see it, and then hope that they’ll continue seeing the bigger picture. Basically, I agree with that. That’s why I’m like, well, it’s not bad. I’m like, okay, it’s good they’re doing it, but it’s like, holy crap, what’s already in place.
It’s like, it’s not going to solve that problem. But at least there, I see it as. As I see it as them lashing out against this area, but in a way that I don’t know, are they. It feels like it’s manufactured, so they feel like they’re getting a win. But in the ultimate, in the end, what more should people do besides the flop. Cameras. You know what I’m saying? Yeah. So the way I look at it is what we are doing is we’re playing their game, and their game is. And I’m talking the globalist. The globalist game is keep us focused on the pieces of the puzzle, keep us focused on the policies, keep us focused on all of this stuff instead of what we really need to be focused on, which is the principles of liberty.
And so, yes, it’s good to fight back against Flock, but we have to understand that it’s only one of the pieces of the puzzle. And we have to understand what the puzzle creates when the pieces come together and it creates something really big. What is that? What is it creating? That’s what we really have to figure out. But the bigger point that I’m making here is we need to stop playing their game. We need to just stand up for the principles of liberty. We need to stand up for the principle of privacy. That. That’s. It’s not about stopping Flock.
It’s about standing up against mass surveillance, standing up for the. The right to privacy, which is fundamental to all of the other rights that we have. So we if. If we lose privacy, which they’re doing right now with the online child safety laws we use, we lose freedom of speech, we lose freedom of. Of the press, we lose freedom of assembly. All of these different things are lost as soon as we lose that privacy. So, anyway, my point is. No, this is great. The principles. We need to focus on the principles. So resisting Flock is resisting one element.
That it needs to be broader. It’s like, this is great. That’s a start. But we. You need to focus on every. What don’t you like about Flock? And then every place that you see the exact same behavior we need to fight against. If you really care about the reason you’re fighting the flat cameras. Absolutely. You know, I’ve been talking about this for forever. I mean, I’ve studied the Chinese social credit system. I made a whole long video called the Chinese Social Credit System is Coming to the West. And one of the points that I said, like back in 2020, was they have over 2 million facial recognition cameras everywhere.
And of course, I told that to people and they’re like, oh, that’s crazy. Who would allow that? And that’s because I was talking, they were listening to my words. But the flock is a great example because like I said earlier, people can be a little bit slower to the curve than others. And what it takes is this is the first physical manifestation where they’re seeing something. I mean, we’ve seen this in the UK too, when they require digital id, where you actually have to scan your license. And so basically what I’m saying is, I think, unfortunately, what it comes down to is it has to actually physically manifest in someone’s life, either as an inconvenience or something that they physically see before they can understand what’s going on.
In a way, will they evolve to understand things that they can’t see? Because one of the things that I’ve. I’ve experienced my entire career, you know, maybe not as much now while I’m in media, but when I was in tech, is that if people can feel it and sense it, you know, they feel it, then they understand it. But so much of it is abstract. Right. And we have to get into the abstract world to really solve this. How do we get people past the physical and into something that may. They don’t really see? Yeah, I mean, I.
The question is, are. Are we gonna. Are people gonna stand up before they feel the pain? And I don’t know. I. I don’t. I mean, I would like to think that we’re going to be able to stand up, we’re going to all realize what’s happening. We’re going to stand up for liberty and the principles of liberty, and we’re going to do that before it’s too late. The question is, though, do they need to feel the pain first? I don’t know. But the problem with that is the system that they’re creating is an individual targeted pain. So it’s not necessarily going to be felt by everyone on the right or everyone on the left or whatever’s kind of the clumsy approach that’s happening now.
This is going to be a very targeted thing that’s going to be very hard to organize Against. And that’s the purpose. That’s why they’re doing it. So this is really, for example, you know, like, when they targeted me as a porn star on the front page of Google Search, you know, I was. That’s a targeted smear campaign against somebody they want to discredit and that they’re not doing it in mass. They’re not doing it to whole group of people. They’re doing it to specific. Specific people they want to target. And that is really, really hard to fight against.
Yeah, I mean, if. Oh, go ahead. Point. Let me just make one. One more quick point is I think. I think the key is not just that we need to. To not fight on their terms. I think we need to be proactive in. In fighting for these principles of liberty. Let’s not just be reactive for, okay, Flock is here, so let’s fight against that. We need to proactively stand up for privacy as a fundamental right to what we do in our way of life now. And so everything else is just kind of. I mean, if we did that, then Flock wouldn’t be an issue because, no, they don’t have the right to do that.
Well, I sent you guys the Internet Bill of Rights that Patrick Wood and Courtney Turner has. I think it’s a really good start towards privacy and having us regain our rights. I mean, it’s the same rights we have in general. It’s just. Because it’s the Internet. And this is where I get to the abstract thing. People don’t understand that something that’s written in algorithms and code, it’s abstract. They can’t see it. So suddenly they’re able to take your rights away because it’s abstract. No, it’s. You have those rights already. How does that. How is that applied to the Internet world? Yep, absolutely.
I think that’s what it comes down to is spreading awareness, spreading education. And I think the abstract area, it’s. You’re almost touching kind of a spiritual point here, because how do you see the unseen? I mean, the way that I take it, my approach, at least maybe some people don’t agree with this necessarily, is I think that truth is kind of the baseline. Baseline for the universe. You know, that’s. That’s what everyone seeks. And everything else is just a lie on top of that. And it’s just all illusion, basically. And so my goal with what I’m trying to do is I’m trying to just align myself with truth.
I’m trying to spread the message of truth. And this is the part people might not disagree. Might disagree with me on. But at the end of the day, it’s going to be whatever it’s going to be. And I’m not God. I can’t control the outcomes. So I need to surrender and just accept that whatever is happening is for the best. And my message is not trying to change someone’s mind, but rather just share what I believe is the truth, and then maybe, hopefully, enough people will see it, too. Yeah. Yep. I said that’s all we can do.
Right. Just do our best at sharing the truth, and the truth should just fold out. Sometimes the truth doesn’t win for a while, but eventually, you know, the truth has a way of leaking out. It’s like water through, you know, holes in a dam. It just happens to leak out. So you have been spending a lot of time trying to help people with their privacy, and you’re doing it in many different ways. Can you talk about some of the things that you’re doing? Yeah. So we go on a lot of podcasts to raise the awareness. That’s one of the things we do.
We have Privacy Academy, where we. It’s a course that. That teaches you how to be private and secure. And, you know, one of the things we talk about is that it’s in there. We have no instinctual awareness of how our privacy is being breached online. I mean, the computers, the devices, all of this stuff is a new thing. We’ve never really had to deal with this ever before in history. And we’re really kind of at the mercy of the people that design these things. Are they doing what they should be doing? Are they being deceptive, all of that stuff? Turns out, yes, they’re being very deceptive.
They’re being very deceitful. And we have to learn this. We have to learn how to keep ourselves private. We have to learn how we’re being violated. And so that’s really what we talk about. We talk about just first of all, the understanding, and then what can you do about it? Simple, practical steps. We give people a plan from moving from here to there to where they need to be, and we do it in the. A way that isn’t overwhelming for people. Then. Then there’s also. Make sure you mention the live trainings and community, too. You kind of brushed over it by just saying it’s a course.
Yeah, yeah. So. So we also have live trainings, and we have a wonderful community, and we also have a. I also want to say we have a very important mission. I think the. The. The way the Liberty is being attacked in our world today is through technology. And we have to really wake people up to that or they’re gonna just wake up one day and just realize, you know, we are all enslaved. It will just wake up that way. Yeah. What’s that? I said we’ll just wake up and be that way. I mean, we don’t. Won’t even know it.
Yeah. And that’s what, that is what is coming for us if we don’t wake up, if we don’t stop this, we are heading towards a much darker world. And that’s, that’s. I’m not saying that that’s going to happen, but that’s what they’re trying to make happen. That’s what their plans are. So we have to step up with an alternate plan and just say, you know, we want liberty and that’s what we need to stand up for, the principles of liberty for. Have you thought about whether your investments are making the highest returns they can, eliminating as much taxes as you can? I think all of us want that strategy.
Right? That’s the strategy that the wealthiest use. And my friends at Ironhawk Financial are helping my listeners figure out a strategy to do exactly that. If you want the best returns on your portfolios, you want to eliminate as much taxes as you humanly possibly can, and you want to set up your grandkids, you want to set, set up your kids, and you want to set up yourself for having the most amount you possibly can in your portfolios. I highly recommend you look at the strategies that my friends at Ironhawk Financial do for my listeners. Go to sw hawk.com and get information.
They are professionals and they will help you understand what those strategies are. So that you’re looking at portfolios that are making twice, three, four times more more than what you would have and paying a lot less in taxes in the process. Who doesn’t want to do that? Go to sw hawk.com and learn about it today. And you’re not anti tech, you’re just, I want tech implemented in a way that preserves my liberty. Right, right. You know, I had long conversations with Bill Benny, who was the one, you know, NSA, notorious director of the NSA that built the NSA Langley Center.
And he. 25 years or year 2000, he came out 25 years, over 25 years ago. He says in 1998 we had most of this tech in place. I mean, it’s been 25 years of a solid development in this area with billions of dollars being spent every single year. Right? 90. He was saying $90 billion. So we’re 100 billion. Yeah, it’s crazy amounts of money. And they’ve been developing this. And one of the things we talked about is the fact that there are an. Ashton Forbes brought this up in an interview that I already aired. And I interviewed it in my substack, an extended play of it.
And I kind of said, F you for to make him even think about this. But he’s right. But this gets back to my Bimmy conversation. He’s saying, you know, the tech is so advanced. And I and Mitchell and other scientists confirm this too. You know, the tech is so advanced that there’s people that out of their garage now, they could learn this, some of this stuff and this physics. You could blow up a neighborhood or you could blow up a city. And there’s some scary abilities as this advanced tech comes through and that he’s making an argument that we should be watching who’s doing all this stuff.
And I’m like, yeah, well, you know, I sat and thought about this. I’m like, no, this goes back to me and Benny’s conversation that you can track metadata and not violate people’s liberties. And they, they need to deliberately do that and they need to do metadata and, and pro. They can do pattern recognitions and they can do things that do not violate people’s liberty and still protect communities, but they’re not doing that. Yep. Yeah. I mean, I think. I don’t know if I fully agree with the whole thing about tracking for the, the safety of others.
I mean, kind of goes back to that Benjamin Franklin quote. Yeah. What was that? No, debate it and tell us the other. I mean, this is. These are the kind of. Kind of conversations we shouldn’t be having, but nobody’s having. Absolutely. So it kind of goes back to the Benjamin Franklin quote. I think I’m going to get it wrong. But he says those who value safety over liberty deserve neither. And I think that’s definitely true. Because if you look throughout history, we’ve never had this surveillance system. I mean, I would argue that hundreds of years ago it would probably be easier to go out door to door and kill people.
And still that wasn’t a very common thing. I think people kind of underestimate how good average people are. And, you know, if you look at a lot of huge terrorist attacks, this could be the tinfoil hat part of me. But I think most of those have been orchestrated by the government to get some external outcome. So, I mean, back, let’s say 1800s, let’s say there’s a mass shooting At a post office, who would have stopped that? Well, that would not be a camera or anything. It’d be a good guy with a gun. Yeah. As far as I’m concerned.
If you don’t mind me real quick. So, you know, there are a lot of discussions like, okay, AI is going to kill us all, robots are going to kill us all, all of that stuff. And you. You listen to Elon Musk and he thinks, you know, the humanity is doomed or whatever. But, you know, I don’t. I think that’s something that you. You can’t even really put any thought to. I think you just kind of surrender that to God, and there’s nothing I can do about that. But I think really the more dangerous aspect of tech and AI and all of that stuff is who is in control of it.
Because the people that are in control of it are often psychopaths. Well, they’re the class. Yeah, exactly. When you centralize power, centralized information is centralized power. And when you centralize all of this power, those. They can be used to really harm people and harm society, and they don’t give a damn. They don’t give a damn about us, and that’s more dangerous. That’s really my. My worry is just who is in charge of that attack? Well, I think, regardless, the way they’re doing it is way more dangerous than what they could do. You know, Bill Binney’s argument was they need to do metadata.
So you’re not tracking individual people. There’s ways to do it. There’s ways to do. Protect liberty. There’s ways. And they don’t. They don’t care. They just don’t care. And that’s. That’s the indication that we have to do more. Well, it’s not just that they don’t care is that they’re. They’re. I think they’ve gone even. They’re just evil. I mean, I don’t like using the word evil, but they’re. These are psychopaths that don’t give up. They don’t care about us at all. And they’re using whatever power they can over humanity, and we have to step up and just make sure that we stay in control.
The more you study it does, the more you see some really dark pathways that they’re going down. Can you. Because people who don’t know what we’re talking about will be like, what are you talking. I mean, this is too. This is too Orwellian for me. Give us some examples so people understand why you’re even in that mental Frame of mind. Well, earlier I mentioned, I made a whole, I guess like hour long video about the Chinese social credit system. And that’s, that’s kind of the key direction that they’re trying to take us in, where basically, you know, we mentioned the word data earlier, and I think it’s important to give that context of why that’s bad.
And so the reason, the way I do that is I say, how do you define totalitarianism? It means to subordinate all aspects of life. And so how can you subordinate all aspects of life? You have to see it. And so all throughout history, tyrants have not been able to see every area of your life. But there’s been this human bottleneck. And so, for example, I’m in Budapest right now and had awful communism people turned on each other, but the bottleneck was always human eyes or ears or you know, what they say to each other. But with modern technology, everything you do is monitored.
Everything is connected. And so when we say privacy or when we say surveillance, we’re talking about a mixture of surveillance and control. And so that means all of your devices are constantly watching you. They’re gathering data, they’re creating a profile. And every action you take, whether it’s, you know, sending your, your friend $5 or you’re looking on the news or whatever you order to eat, all of these things are being gathered and they’re making this profile on you. And they can judge all of those things. And if they don’t agree with what you’re doing, they get to punish you.
And so ultimately, like Glenn said, whoever holds the power of the system is the one who gets to define what is seen as good or what is seen as bad. And so if you’re more of an independent thinker and you challenge them, they don’t want critical thinking when you’re independently thinking because that challenges their power. That’s what I get nervous about, because that independent freedom thinking is what made us great in the first place. That’s where entrepreneurs flourish. That’s where we came up with all these new ideas. And if you shut that down, you shut down human advancement.
Yep. Yeah. And the example that I thought Eric would give is something more that, that kind of hits home more, and that is Eric. Eric has had some personal experiences with TikTok, and I’m not going to tell the whole story here, but let me just give you the example, kind of the big picture. So 60 Minutes did a story on TikTok, and they said there’s a very significant difference between the TikTok that Chinese teens get and what American teens get. So they called the Chinese version the spinach version and the American version or the Western version, the opium version of TikTok.
And there’s a reason for this. And. And Eric has a specific example where he. He sound this, Found this out for himself. But AI, so. So if you’re. If you’re on social media and you’re using TikTok, for example, TikTok has its own AI, and that AI watches everything that you read, everything that you pause on, everything that you comment on. It knows. It understands you. It. It can understand you to a very high degree, probably more than you do. It understands your emotional state. It understands all of this stuff, your psychological profile. They know how you’re probably going to react.
Yeah, yeah. And. And as soon as they know, as soon as they understand you and they can predict how you’re going to act, they can. They can manipulate you, too. And so the way I look at AI that’s built into TikTok or Facebook or anything like that is like Google Maps. And so Google Maps, millions of people every day. I’m here, I want to go there. And so it physically takes you on a customized route to where you want to go. Right. With AI on TikTok, it does the same thing, but your state of mind, not your physical location, but your state of mind, so it can be programmed to take you down a path of radicalization, despair, suicide, sexualization, drug abuse, all of that stuff.
It can be programmed to take you there, and it will take you down your own customized path to that location. And that’s what it’s doing to kids. Right. Who are. Yeah, that is why. That. That is. I think one of the main reasons that we have seen our society deteriorate and especially the younger generation deteriorate over the past 10, maybe even longer years is because of this AI. And it’s. It’s taken us down that path. Well, let me give a good example of it, too. I mean, this is something that I’ve seen very. And within the last year, it’s.
It’s very dark. It’s very talk. It’s, you know, sad to talk about. But after Charlie Kirk was assassinated, you see, the youth, especially the left, just makes so many quote, unquote, funny memes about it. And what it’s doing is. This is what I call meme warfare, where basically what they do is they try to make things relatable, they try to make things edgy or funny, to slowly normalize something to the point. Then if you Compare a year ago to today, how willingly the youth accepts violence. It’s not even comparable. I mean, these are people who’ve never watched him speak or anything, and they think it’s funny that he died because they’ve been programmed.
Yeah. Yeah. Well, I know just with myself, nobody thinks me being related as a porn star is that big of a deal. At least you got attention. I’m like, no, this is a violation. Right. And it’s kind of like the woman. I don’t remember her name, but she killed her three kids. And the postpartum. Now, the postpartum is a real issue, and that is a health issue we should look at. But I think it’s the glorification that they’re doing of her is normalizing that behavior. So there’s two things going on. Identifying this health issue is, okay, that’s great.
But normalizing the behavior of killing your children is not. Yeah. And they’re trying to take very polarizing issues, too, because they want to radicalize people on different sides of the fence. And, I mean, this is a great example of showing how far can we push it? This is pretty much as extreme as you can get, at least in my mind. I mean, over the last 10 years, I kept saying that over and over, but a mother killing her kids. I don’t know how you can get more radical than that, than getting people to agree with it.
But it shows how. How good they are at getting people radicalized, basically. Yeah, it’s very. It’s. It’s incredible. You know, you. You started talking about the spinach, the version of the Chinese. Explain that, because I think that’s a profound thing that people need to understand. Yeah. So if. If a teen in China is on TikTok, they will receive videos on traditions and about how to exercise and how to, you know, get a good job, how to interview for a job, you know, kind of like Boy Scout stuff. Literally, like Boy Scout stuff and all of that.
Whereas, you know, nowadays, what you get in the US Is just really depraved stuff. And you don’t even have to like that stuff. I mean, it’s. It just. That’s what you see. That’s what it takes you down. So it’s the difference between the spinach and the open version, and it shows that it’s a planned thing. Well, you know, I keep going back to the Andrew Tate thing where they have this big meme where this guy is an actual human trafficker, and they have huge groups of men who are arguing that he’s. They’re only going after him because he teaches men how to be men.
Right? And it’s so incredibly awful. There’s this double psyop going on the Internet that, that are sucking men in because, okay, there are really good characters, really good people who teach, help men and coach men how to be strong men. Why in the world would we focus on somebody like this, right? But they do and they think, think that because the government’s going after them that that’s an indication that because they want, all the government wants to destroy men that they’re going after Andrew Tate. So it’s almost like this double psyop that’s really screwing with people.
Yeah. Oh yeah, they totally understand the pendulum swing. I mean, that’s what they’ve mastered is they create an issue and then they create the quote unquote solution. And so they can do that socially too. I mean that’s, that’s what they’re doing is they’re, they’re creating one extreme and then just nature is going to have that, well, what’s the reaction to this? And so if you look at it as if you’re the aggressor or manipulator, you have foresight. So you can plan that very easily where it’s okay, I’m going to radicalize women in this way. Well, what’s going to happen? There’s going to be a lot of upset men, so let’s radicalize them this way.
And then what does that lead to? And you know, we’re, we’re the ones that are looking at it after. We don’t get the foresight that they do, but they, this is all extremely planned, for sure. Thank you for listening, thank you for sharing and please subscribe below and think about joining my substack@SarahWestAll substack.com or my newsletter. You can sign up for that as well@SarahWestAll.com and remember to give a thumbs up and to subscribe on the platform that you’re watching. It has to be because it’s so, it’s so awful. You know, one thing, another thing that Bill Bay said in a years ago, he said that, Sarah, you know, because I was talking to him about the Chinese scoring system and the surveillance and everything like you you were talking about.
He’s like, Sarah, we’re so far ahead in their, in the surveillance tech. The one thing that keeps us a little bit less is our constitution and that we have to hide it. But we are so far ahead. We supply all that technology. We’re, we’re they’re stealing our innovations. So we’re ahead of the Chinese. It just doesn’t look like it to the people. Yeah. So, you know, going back to that point that you were talking about with just the manipulation and how it manipulates people. Did you ever see the movie Trading Places with Dan Aykroyd and Eddie.
Eddie Murphy, I think. Remember that? That was from the 80s. Yeah. So explain it quickly for the people who don’t remember. Just so there was this. Dan Aykroyd was a wealthy guy, worked at this big company. He was, he was making millions a year. And then there was Eddie Murphy is the guy on the streets. And they. Then these two old guys had a bet and it’s just like a $1 bet. I think we can switch the roles. I think this guy can get that guy’s role and this guy. We can make this guy. We can make Dan Aykroyd homeless and all of that stuff.
So I kind of think that that’s what’s going on. I think if you, if you look at what’s going on as, as being intense brainwashing. Right. I think what they’ve done and I think, I think these people got together and they just said, what is the most radical thing that we could do and what is the most. Just to show how powerful we are with this brainwashing. Okay, let’s convince people that women are not women and men are not men. Yeah, they crazy. Just. And then, and then on top of that, just say, not only will we do this, but we’re going to get feminists who for generations have been fighting for women’s rights and we’re going to make them fight for men.
Men’s ability to infringe upon women’s rights. And they’re not even going to notice that they made this change, this 180 change. And so I think that’s what they did behind the scenes. I mean, I think these guys. I really think these guys just sat about it and thought, what’s the most radical thing we could do? And let’s just show the power that we have. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I think you’re exactly right. Because the sane voices that used to argue for all this stuff are. They’re suppressing the people who really are fighting for these who are still in those camps of doing what’s right.
Those are the voices that are suppressed too. It’s like this lunacy world. Women fighting for women’s rights now are ostracized from feminists. I mean, it’s just if you think about it. It’s so ridiculous. But. But, I mean, this is just the power that they have. Well, but that gets back to the Andrew Tate things too. You know, I mean, just. It’s all that crazy stuff. There’s a video that just came up, and I said, okay, this is sick. Too far. There’s a video of him. This. With the girl that he’s with or woman he’s with. It was.
You can’t tell how young she is, just her body, her showing all the bruises he gave her. Right. And he was bragging about it. And I’m just like, this is incredible. I mean, what world are we in? Yeah, Yeah. I mean, if you look at the whole agenda 20, 30, they say that Western ideals and values will be tested to their breaking point. And this is the phase of them testing them to their breaking point. You know, we are getting to the point where up is down and down is up, and we’re just totally confused and it’s intentional.
So it kind of goes back to what you’re saying of how do you see the unseen? I think there’s a lot of people feeling as if something’s wrong and they. They’re grasping, but they don’t really understand what’s going on. And they. They’re kind of floating in this freefall. But I think overall, there’s a big feeling that something’s wrong. There’s a big feeling. My kids check that as social media, and they did it because I was too clueless. Right. I didn’t know. And they’re old, but they both. And I think that’s one of the. I think that’s one of the smartest thing they did.
And I think that’s why they’re probably where they’re at today. And a lot of their friends are struggling because they just said, I’m my daughter, at one point, early in college, deleted all of her social media accounts and said, I need to focus. And I look back at that and I said, that is just so amazing. That is why she’s where she’s at today, because she checked out of all the social media and said, this is too destructive from this for my mental health. I can’t be here. I totally agree with that. And let me. Let me add a caveat thing, Eric, though.
Yeah, absolutely. And the thing that I’ll say about that is she did it on her own will. I did it on my own will. And I totally agree that that’s probably the most important thing that the youth can do. But I don’t support kids Online safety acts. Those are backdoor digital IDs. Well, let’s talk about that, because there’s a big settlement that just came through with meta, like a $16 billion settlement. They’re waiting for the other big tech companies. Their Meta is saying, I want these other big tech companies to have the same settlement. We have Keith Ellison, good old Keith Ellerson, talking about how this is the biggest settlement in US history and it’s going to help kids the most.
Now, when you look at your story and the stories we’re talking about, it’s like, holy, this is really bad. But how is it a backdoor thing? Because they were talking about how they have to force Instagram’s going to make sure that if you’re under 13, you can’t go get online. And from my perspective as a parent, I’m like, well, that’s really good. We don’t want kids online. But what is the Trojan horse here? Yeah, absolutely, go ahead. Okay, I’ll go. So the online child safety law is nothing more than an online digital id. So what they’re doing is.
So if you look at Apple, Google, Microsoft, all of these companies, what they’re doing is they’re rewiring the Internet. And so you’re going to have to biometrically identify yourself before and your device will biometrically verify who you are. Then it will allow you to have access to the Internet and it will basically stamp your papers at every website that you go to. And it will say, yes, this is Glenn Meter. Glenn Meter looked at this article. He spent X amount of times on this, reading this article. He commented here. And it’s going to prove who you are at every step along the way.
But what it does is it gets rid of privacy. Totally. It is total. It gets rid of privacy and anonymity. Totally. And let me add on to that. Quick, go ahead. One of the key points there is. It’s what I’ve been saying all along. It goes to the propaganda, it goes to every aspect. It’s. They’ve created a problem and they’re creating a solution. They decided to feed us opium. It was them doing it. And now they have a reason to close the gate. And how did they choose? China didn’t do it. Just. No, no, the U.S.
did. Yeah, the U.S. china doesn’t do it to their own kids, is what I. They had. They made a decision they could have done and had our kids looking at wholesome stuff. Oh, yeah, absolutely. They chose to do this. They wanted to create this problem. That way they have cause to have a solution which is everyone has to surrender their identity. That way kids are safe online. Okay, now how do we. What is the better way? Because as a parent you’re like freaked out when you see some of the things that these kids see and that you don’t luck.
Luckily my daughter got off and you got off for mental health. They need to get off these things. So what, what, how do we solve this problem? I’m fearful that this digital id, this will work. This will work on the people because. And then it will. And I mean, one of the things that would really work is to clamp down on the platforms that are actually targeting kids. I mean, Facebook, Instagram, all of these in TikTok, obviously all of them. Like we said, the AI algorithm is specifically designed to target kids and to manipulate them. And not just kids, everybody too.
Everyone. Yeah, yeah, but, but that’s one of the main things. But instead of doing that, we’re giving them more power. So the solution should be, let’s force everybody into this biometric digital id. The solution should be platforms. Knock it off. You aren’t going to manipulate people and turn them into psychopaths or, you know, really dysfunctional, unhealthy people. You are damaging not just children, but everybody. And, and it’s a national security issue. Really. This is a national security issue. I also think one of the big issues of it is that if you look at maybe my generation, that was one of the first generations growing up with Internet being part of their childhood in their teenage years, and I think parents didn’t really, they didn’t understand what was there.
And so I think it comes down to them. You know, everyone wants to outsource everything. They just want to put their kid in front of an iPad. They want the government to make the solution so the iPad safe for the kids. The Epstein class cares about your kids, but not in the way that you want them to. You know what I mean? So it comes down to self responsibility. How do you set it up properly for your kids? And you just have, I mean, part of life is there’s always going to be risk and that’s something we always have to accept, unfortunately.
Well, you guys are doing classes for people and we’re going to do a special webinar you’re going to run for my people, my listeners, and I hope everybody watches this and shares it and gets everyone there, as many people there as possible. You’re going to learn things that way deeper than what we talked about today. You’re going to learn things that are important for you, for your neighbor, for your grandkids, for your kids. So when is the webinar and tell us what, tell us more about it. Yeah, so the webinar is going live Thursday, September 9th at 7:00pm Central.
And you can go to it by privacy academy.com Westall Glenn, if you want to tell people what you’re going to cover. Yeah, so, so basically what we do is we’re going to first of all cover what the issue is and really talk about privacy and how our privacy is being violated and that type of thing. But then we’re going to get into some real practical steps that you can take to start the process of getting private and secure. These are very real, very effective steps that you can take to start this process. Then we’ll get into a little bit more in depth about how all the pieces come together and we’ll talk about next steps that people can take and we’ll get into Q and A.
Well, and you’ve done this one time before, right after Trump won his presidency. But the world has changed so much since then that I think that this is something everyone needs to go and watch. And they needed to watch it back then, but I don’t think they felt the danger that people inherently know is there now. And, and I hope that people can see the importance of this. Yeah, I do, too. I hope people care enough about this issue to start researching it a little bit more, because if you don’t, you’re going to become much more vulnerable.
You’re going to find your privacy taken, taken down notch after notch after notch. But you’re also going to one thing we haven’t I guess we started this in the very beginning, but we haven’t really talked much about it. But it’s the three threats online are really the big brother is, I think, you know, government surveillance, the surveillance state is the big ultimate one. But then you’ve got big tech, which is really kind of related to that. But then you’ve got the hackers and scammers. And hackers and scammers is something we haven’t really talked about much today.
But they’re very dangerous. It’s kind of we talked a little bit about the gold scam, but this is, that’s one element. Element of it. But there’s more. Yeah, they’re getting superpowered with AI and they’re getting very, very dangerous. And I actually stopped my father just two weeks ago. I stopped my father from getting scammed on the phone. And, and they sound really real. I, I had somebody call on my phone. And the phone the call came in, the caller ID was Apple Computer. And they said that my account was, was hijacked. And the reason I knew they were full of crap.
They told me that I’m an engineer. It was an American, no accent at all. Sounded like it’d be he, the age of an engineer, you know what I mean? All the stereotype of an engineer. And that he was going to help me repair my, my domain. And then he said, I want you to go to Apple Dot. And I don’t remember what then, but it wasn’t the Apple domain name. And I said that’s crap. That’s not the Apple domain. And I’m like, I’m not going to go there. And he goes, he got kind of shooken up.
And he said, well, that’s what they told me the domain was. And then I’m like, that’s not the Apple domain. And then he hung up the phone. Yeah, and then I told, you know, I reported it. But how many people would have known that’s what it was? My father was on the phone with Apple support and he was, he was about to go down to Home Depot and send them $14,000 worth of home Depot gift cards. Was it the same scam then that I got? It’d be similar, yeah. I mean there’s a lot of variations on the scam.
But one of the things that’s, that people kind of overlook. They say, you know, how could you fall for that? How could you fall for, you know, going to get gift cards at Home Depot and sending them off in the mail and all that stuff. But, but here’s the thing is they create this bubble, this, this illusion, illusionary bubble in the moment where they get your emotions worked up and once your emotions get worked up, your brain stops working. And this is how they did the older people more vulnerable to that too, because they, they just are for some reason.
They are. But it also hits younger people. I mean there was another case of the financial columnist at the New York Times wrote a piece about how she was scammed and, and she, they got her worked up in, she was in this bubble of illusion that if you read the stories, like how could you possibly get into this? I mean, it was like, it was like a Tom Clancy book is what they were. They got her in, but she eventually put 50,000 bucks into a shoebox, handed it to a, an SUV that drove by. They lowered the window and she held it, she handed it to them.
And then she’s like, what the hell Did I just do? But it’s. It’s a form of hypnosis, I think when they control your emotions and they get your emotions. So happened with COVID They did this on the mass scale where they got people so scared and so emotionally turned up that they couldn’t think that, you know, what they’re saying is ridiculous. Yep. Yep. But your brain doesn’t work anymore. And so anyway, no, that. I think you’re absolutely right. We lost Eric. I don’t know what happened. Yeah, Eric. Eric is saying that his Internet just went out, so.
Okay, well, we’re almost done. So we missed some at the very end, but yeah. So I hope people make it to the webinar. This is so great. And I agree with you. The scams. My sister got scammed out of something. I’m not going to share it that much, but she got scammed out of something that she’s really embarrassed of. And I think it’s embarrassing. Right. People are embarrassed of it. And so you want to keep from getting scammed and like the gold scam. You guys helped a lot of people, but. Okay, thank you so much. We missed Eric at the end.
We’ll have the webinar. What was the date again? I think he said September 9, didn’t he? September 9 at 7pm Central Time. And I’ll have the link below. They can sign up for it@privacyacademy.com Westall and I’ll be sharing it more. Thank you so much, Glenn, for joining the program. I really appreciate it. Sa.
