Hello everyone and welcome again. Here we are. Another Wednesday already mid July. Exactly. Well, pretty close. July 15th and it’s another cspoa.org webinar. We’re together again with Sheriff Mack who’s back from a lot of exciting activity and he has a big bag full like Santa of stories to tell us about his enjoyable time in Las Vegas. And we know that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but I think some of it’s got to be told. Sheriff. We’ll get to that. Just wait. We’re going to, we’re going to, we’re going to plug it again. We need members, folks.

Sorry and, but I know you were out there doing a good service for humanity. Tell us a little bit about your, your travels. Yeah, it would have been pretty tough to get on last week. Go over to the event, come back to the hotel and try to do this. Anyway, it was, it was really fast paced and lots of Republican celebrities and some, some conservative celebrities as well. Let’s see, where would we place.

I sent you a photo of Rob Schneider. He, he did a breakout session and I was there and I, and I talked to him afterwards and he and his assistant Clint and I told him who I was and, and I said have you ever heard about me? And he goes no. So I said well, when I was sheriff, I sued the federal government and won a case at US Supreme Court against the Clinton administration. He goes what, What? He really? And he, and he goes I’ve never heard such a David and Goliath story. And I said yeah, it’s been a while since something like that has happened.

And he goes here’s my card, here’s my assistant’s card and I want you guys to connect and I Want you guys to talk about it. Somebody should be doing a movie about that. And that’s, you know, I didn’t even mention it. He did. And so, you know, I don’t think I would have him play my part though. He just doesn’t look big enough to be a walking tall sheriff. In fact, he’s quite short. Yeah. So he, he’s barely, he’s very barely taller than Don and Don is short. But before we get going into everything I wanted, I want to do a quote, in fact I’m going to do a quote every time from my book.

And this is from President George Washington in his farewell address. And the book really goes big time into the, into translating and making sure everybody understands the sophisticated English language that George Washington was so adept at. And he said this. Political parties are likely to become potent engines by which cunning, ambitious and unprincipled. That’s why I would have used corrupt. But he put an unprincipled man will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government. You see, that is where we’re at. That is why we wrote the book.

And of course the book, the title and the front cover make it makes it look like we’re just picking on Democrats. Well, in probably 90% of it we are. But the thing of it is I don’t see too many Republicans. Now look, we’ve had socialism for a long time and Republicans have gone along with it. The New Deal was like the biggest thing that we bring out in the book. That was the biggest time for America to really start the welfare state and entitlements because people were hungry and politicians, people were hurting. And politicians are always going to try to, to take care of people because that’s what they think government is for.

And as you and I know, government isn’t here to take care of us. Government is here to protect our God given rights and our civil rights. So George Washington called it in 1780. What was he first got the presidency? I can’t remember. So this was probably like 1792 or so. I don’t remember the date when he was, the eight years he was president, but when he was leaving he did this. And so I would think it would be 93, 94 right around there. 1793, 94. If you see it in front of you, if you’ve checked it, please set a straight on that because I don’t like to be wrong about history.

And anyway I will check. Did you see it? No. I mean I’m gonna look it up right now. What you have? Yeah. Okay. I just quoted George from his farewell address in an article I wrote a couple days ago. It’s incredible. I mean, that that particular farewell address was just. I mean, he was talking to us today. He was talking to us a hundred years ago. The man was absolutely brilliant. But he also saw, in the eight years or so that he was around government as president, he saw the Whigs and the Democratic Republicans and he saw the party system and he knew what it was doing then.

He knew what it would be used as. And quite frankly, we the people have turned over the reins of government to the Democrats and Republicans. And, and, and we’re seeing they. Not the fruits, but the poison. We’ve seen. We’re seeing the poison from the poisonous tree. And that’s the. The political structure that we have today. Parties are not mentioned in the Constitution. They’re not guaranteed by the Constitution. These are private clubs, private organizations that have stolen and usurped power that was never intended to be theirs. And so I really like that quote. It’s really the nexus of what we wrote the book about.

But again, to dispel some of the Uni Party things. And I’ve said uniparty before myself, but I see very few Republicans supporting the communist takeover of America. Some of them in the, in their past have, yes, they voted, especially John McCain voted for socialistic laws and whatnot. But right now, what we’re fighting against as Americans, and as I’m going to say this as Republicans, we’re fighting the communist takeover of America. And if, if a, If a staunch Republican does it in 2028, then Republicans will probably go along with it. But I do, I do appreciate most Republicans who, first of all, do not want to fund Planned Parenthood.

And it looks like we’re back to doing that again. So. But the Communist Manifesto is now replacing our Constitution. And it’s not a surreptitious movement. It’s bold in our face. And yes, it’s happening. And I really like the line from the book as well. America is dying. She’s on her deathbed. And this is a very intentional, an orchestrated movement to murder America and to replace it with Communism. So I. That really gets me going probably the most of anything, that we fought four or five wars the state actually made, and perestroika was a movement, the word for the movement, to at least not destroy communism, but to contain it.

And I actually remember studying that in junior high civics. So, folks, I just sent Jack a photograph of some of my food storage. And I don’t know if you can put it on there or not, Jack, but I want everybody to see that. When I told them I was going to go buy a bunch of canned goods, I want them to see that I did. Yeah, man, look at all that. And that’s only half of it. I couldn’t get the, the, the. The wall on the other side of my laundry room. And this isn’t even the pantry room.

This is the laundry room. And we got a big shelf up there on top of the shelves. And so there it is. That’s New Mana Foods over there on the right in the big plastic buckets. And then we’ve got some silverware and some plastic ware and then canned goods. And the big white box right there in the middle, the big white box on the bottom of the shelf, that’s Welch’s grape juice. And one reason I like it is because even if it gets fermented, it’ll just turn into wine. No, I don’t drink. But it’ll last a long time.

That they’ll still provide some nutritional value. And it’s 100% juice, no sugar added, which I really, really love that. And so actually, and Jack, remembering that we’re actually going to. And if. And if you could pull this up during this, this would be great. Dulce. D U L S A. I met a. I met a lady who’s in charge of making sugar. No, not, not. Anyway, B U L S A. Let’s see if we can get that on there. It’s name of a. Of a completely organic, healthy sugar. And it takes the place of sugar. Yeah, that looks like it in the orange package.

Yeah, that orange package. She gave me one of those. And we’re actually going to set up a contract with her and market that on the CSPOA website. Tweet and enjoy your health. I mean, could you imagine? There’s been lots of substitute sweeteners, but some of them are worse for you than sugar. So. And, and people know that. But what’s the one. What’s the one they use in the lemonade at Chick Fil A? Oh, yeah. Stia stevia. Yeah. And. And so anyway, she’s got one that’s a powdered form. And, and, and you guys all know I make fudge, at least most of you.

I’m going to use that stuff to make my mom’s fudge and see if it’s still tastes the same. I tasted it there with her. My wife tasted it with her also. And we Said, hey, we got to market this, because I’m already surprised she’s not a multimillionaire. But anyway, we’re going to. We’re going to try to try to do that. So anyway, we sold about five cases of the books. And folks, let me. Let me tell you about this. I am trying to find celebrities, and we already have one that has agreed to do it. And it’s the first big endorsement of the book that I received, and that was from Mike Lindell, and he is a friend of mine, and he had a big conference in Springfield, Springfield, Missouri, about eight years ago.

And he asked me to bring 10 constitutional sheriffs, which I did. And we. We had a great meeting and we had a great panel discussion with these great sheriffs. And it. Ever since then, Mike Lindell and I have been very good friends. So he’s endorsed the book, said it was one of the greatest books he’s ever read. That endorsement is on our website, murderofamerica.com if any of you want to read it. But I’m going to ask him, and I already did. And he said yes, not just to endorse the book, but to send it out to his email list.

And you can imagine how many emails he has. What we want, all of you, is to do the same. And, and so if you need the same email that we just put out to all of our list, my own personal list. So we haven’t sent it out to the CSPA list yet. But if any of you got that, if you’re already on my list, maybe. Ian, did you see this? Because you’re on my personal list. Did you get the email from us, from Sheriff Mac, or. I don’t think it would have showed csp. It might have shown cspa, but it’s my own list of personal emails, and we sold about so far, just within the last 20 hours, because it hasn’t even been a full day yet.

We sold about 28 books off of that. What I want each of you to do that. Get this, we want you to send it out to your personal list, whether it’s 50, 100, 500, 5000, and send that to everybody, because that seems to be working pretty well right now. And so Mike Lindell and I are still working on that, because if some of you are on his list, you’ll get that one as well. Oh, Ian already sent it out. Well, maybe that’s why it’s doing so well. Ian, thank you. Thank you so much. Okay, so I should have known you were already ahead of me.

And so thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much. So but the celebrities there at Freedom Fest were amazing. Glenn Beck, Rob Schneider, Kelsey Grammer, Steve Forbes, Senator Rand Paul, who I gave a dirty look to and wanted to go tell him that he should try to not support the government and putting innocent people in prison, including constituent of his by the name of Sam Jarrod. Yeah. So Stephanie. Okay, good. Thank you Stephanie. So anyway folks, you know, we really hope to do pull off a miracle here. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Sheriff Mack and Dan Perkins get the Nobel Peace Prize for the best book of the year? What is that? Literature or for non fiction books or for what? Promoting the cause of peace and freedom? Yes, even with this horrible looking cover and title we’re still the, the entire intent of the book was to promote liberty and freedom and peace.

And so yeah, we really, we really believe that it’s going to take something drastic like this cover to wake Democrats up and obviously some Republicans as well. And we put out in one book or one of our email blasts make sure you get one for you and for your favorite Democrat. And a couple of people actually did that. They bought two books so maybe they’re taking it to their library or something, I don’t know. But we really appreciate those of you who are helping us promote the book. Thank you, thank you, thank you. So and then okay, so the freedom, the Freedom Fest lasted from Tuesday to Saturday.

I finished a book signing on Saturday and then we left at noon and went right over to the Red Pill Expo at the Ahearn Hotel and we’ve done several events there ourselves. And the Ahern Hotel is a, owned very, by a very conservative family. And there’s no gambling, there’s no smoking, there’s no gambling. And it was wonderful, beautiful. And I spoke there at 2. So I finished a book signing at Freedom Fest way over at the Caesars Forum and it was big, nice conference center. And then we unpack, we undid our, unpacked our table or we packed up our table and then unpacked it again over Redfield Expo.

I spoke at 2:15 and I’ll tell you what, after you speak the books really sell. So they did. And then we left Sunday to come home. So from Vegas to Phoenix about a five and a half hour drive and Donna and I were really tired so I told her she couldn’t sleep till she had to make sure that I stayed awake on the way home. So we made a lot of good contacts and probably the best one is Natalie who is the owner and Founder of that business, Dulce. And there’ll be a lot more information coming about that very soon, folks, because it’s, it’s the new sugar and it’s good for you.

And it tasted, it had a vanilla flavor and it tasted really great. And so want to make sure that all of you are still getting your food storage, because if I am, you know, I totally believe in it and Jack totally believes in it and you need to be doing it. So should you have canned goods? Yes. Should you have freeze dried foods? Yes. And a lot of other stuff. Don’t forget the maple syrup and the honey. And both of them keep stored for a long time. It’s got to be organic maple syrup because then it’s all natural and it’ll store well.

So the next one is paper goods. And I don’t know if that photo showed some of the paper goods or not, but it was on the very far right of that picture. But I have a lot more. I have an entire closet out in the garage that’s just paper goods. An entire closet. And do we still get paper goods? Yes, I want that for emergency. So. Wow. Okay. Now I feel like slowing down, Jack, and say, what else do you have for us, Jack? Well, that farewell address was written in 1796. 96. You do have what looks like some paper goods right there.

Those look like tissues and stuff. Yeah, it is. Yeah. Yeah. That’s another thing. But off to the right of the buckets is more. And then like I said, I’ve got an entire closet out in the garage. Just paper goods. Just paper goods. And. And so we even bought feminine hygiene products because I honestly feel that maybe some of my granddaughters are going to need those later on. So we did, you know. Yeah. So I’m always thinking, I’m always thinking, you know, so trading is a. Another factor. And by the way, I don’t know if I told you this, but I did try to invite Sheriff Schwank on the show today on the webinar with us.

He got back to me and said that he’s at a corrections graduation today for some of his new employees. So, yes, always be prepared. And yes, I was a boy Scout and the motto was Be prepared. The slogan was do a good turn daily. So folks, I’m trying to do my good turn daily to make sure that all of you be prepared. And I also, to be honest with you, I wanted to make sure that, you know, I was keeping my word that when I told you I was going to go buy a. And it was over.

$1,000 worth of canned goods. Yeah. So I did it. I wanted you to see it and you know, I, I don’t know what it’s going to look like that we’re ever going to have to use that, but I know I don’t like it and I don’t like what’s coming. The handwriting’s on the wall, folks. Jack just saw an article about some planes were not able to refuel the because they weren’t getting enough fuel in the first place. And so I honestly believe that there’s a lot bigger problems with diesel fuel and fuel altogether that politicians are going to look like they got egg on their face because they have not been telling us the truth about the gasoline and diesel fuel shortage.

That is according to some big, high up people in the industry that it’s irreversible at this point. So this is nine commercial airliners in flight emergency over London, low fuel because, you know, they’re used to being able to circle around on I guess, fuel full tanks and apparently not being able to fully load. And major flight disruption due to British Airways aircraft suffer technical issue, block the Runway. The closure force rising planes flip. The availability of aviation fuel is so tight due to the closure of the Straits of Hormuz that many planes are being fueled just barely enough to get there.

So yeah, and would, would, would, would Iran be all more than proud to create a gasoline shortage or to at least be part of it. They would love that. They would absolutely love to shove it in Trump’s face like that. But yeah, Michael Williams just mentioned that there’s a JBS meeting that they’re going to have my books at. Michael, just pop up, back it up and tell us where that meeting is, what time, when, where and all that. So if you can put that, repost that about where the JBS meeting is. I’m a proud member of the John Birch Society, folks.

My wife’s parents were for most of their lives the number of daily flights, so. And they were right. They were right all along. I remember when I was a little boy seeing signs and posters about how the United States should get out of the United nations and boy, were they right. Yeah. And you know, then I started thinking about it when I was at their conference in Salt Lake City a month ago. I said, you know what? I believe in everything that they believe in. Why don’t I become a member? So I did. They’re spot on about a.

Oh, Sequim Washington, 6:00pm tonight. All right, very good. Thank you, Michael and thank you for having Our books there. But yeah, folks, this. The John Birch Society has been correct about the Article 5 convention. Shouldn’t have it. They’ve been right about gun control. Should have. Should not have it. They’ve been right about the constitutional sheriffs. They’ve done probably half a dozen articles about that and in fact they’ve dedicated a couple of the front pages of their. What’s the name of the magazine? John Birch Society magazine. Is John American Freedom or America Today? It’s. What is it, Michael? I know that magazine like the back America Today or the True American or American Today.

Some. I know that’s not right, but I know something about American. But anyway, Michael, thanks for taking care of that. Thanks for being with us and I’m proud to be with you. The new American. Yeah, it’s been around so long I was thinking of the old American. But yeah, the new American. Great magazine, folks. Thank you. Any of you join jbs, Please do. It’s a great group. And, and Michael’s living proof that I joined. I’m sure he knows that I joined. But while I was at the conference in Salt Lake City. So what else about Sheriff Schwenk do we have that we can show everybody? Because he, he wasn’t able to be on with us today.

But we can show, we can show what he’s doing and integrity matters. Sheriff Swank. Yeah, no kidding. That article was out yesterday. Anyway, there’s a lot of good stuff in here. The usual things that we’ve heard from Sheriff Swag, but this is, let me see what he first accused him of. Go back right there. Accused Washington’s Democrat leaders of running a bait and switch on voters promising affordability and safety at election time and delivering the opposite once sworn in. Way to go, Sheriff. Swing man, he calls it like it is. Good job man. Isn’t he up for reelection here in this off season? It’s.

It’s pretty soon. I don’t know if it’s this. I don’t know if it’s this one or not. I really don’t. I think he said it was in this article. So he’s saying he doesn’t really care whether he gets elected or not, but in fact that sheriffs have to go on. And I thought it was interesting among other things that he talked about not be he’s not willing to hire non citizen deputies. Can you imagine hiring non citizen deputies that we’re even talking about that. Which means other sheriffs and chiefs are hiring non citizens. Yeah, yeah, it’s Jack.

I’m sorry, it has gotten so stupid. And just like the book points out, the Democrat murder of America folks points out that we’ve gone too far. That is obviously one of them. That we’re actually having members of city councils, a mayor who actually just got arrested for being a operative for the CCP and she’s going to jail for 10 years. That because she was a mayor and of course she had all access to all sorts of stuff and passing everything on to the ccp. Now this has gotten. Man, does the book make us look prophetic every day.

Yeah, no kidding. So we already need to start writing volume two. Absolutely. This article has a number of interesting things. And it’s not typical that you got a sheriff talking about, you know, what the governor promises and what he actually does. He’s talking about the usual stuff that we’ve heard from every one of them. They repeatedly promise not to raise taxes. And then according to Schwank, this is the largest tax increase. And I don’t know what he said, like in, in the state history. So yeah, they raised, they raised all the taxes nine and a half percent.

Nine higher taxes, large package in state history. Nine and a half percent. Nine point nine. Nine point nine. Yeah. And then he said. And then he, you know, he switches from there and he begins to talk about the, the other politicians many promised improve public safety only then to reduce penalties for sex offenders and those committing violent crimes. After that, same old story. And now they’re trying to work diligently to remove the sheriff from the community. Who. Not only is he, you know, a constitutional servant and a fixture in our history, but he’s also from the community.

And you know, the further from the community that your law enforcement people are, the less they care really at all about anything specific. They don’t even know the people’s names. Whereas a sheriff, he drives around, he knows the, you know, the community, etc. The whole thing makes complete sense. If you’re trying to disarm and destroy a civilization, you’d want to start at some position within the smallest level and move out. And this works. As far as I can tell, this guy’s a great guy. He’s got a lot of nerve too. We have another article here where he, he continues to fight.

This is where he. I think he says that he’s, he’s on the ballot. But anyway, the amendment headed for November would scrap the elective sheriff and hand the choice to the county executive. With the county council signing off on the pick. He notes that it would also remove Swank from office on January 1st. At the halfway point of the term, voters. Okay, so that’s halfway point handed him in 2024, a movie is vowed to fight. Now, I don’t understand exactly why that’s the case, because my understanding the bill would only give them the right to get rid of.

Of specific sheriffs they might want to get rid of. Is that what he means? They’re going to try to get rid of him? Oh, yeah, yeah. There’s a big movement to get rid of Sheriff Swank. And the same reason why they’ve tried to get rid of me, tried to shut me down, try to shut CSPOA down, try to shut down all constitutional sheriffs and all sheriffs together because they don’t follow orders. They don’t do what they’re told by other politicians, including judges, which we just learned a few months ago from Sheriff McMahell in Las Vegas. And he refused a court order from a judge, four different judges 11 different times to release dangerous criminals back into the.

Onto the streets. Career dangerous criminals. He said, no, I’m not going to do that here. We’ve done it before. It doesn’t work and I’m not doing it. And one judge got really mad at him, tried to find him in contempt. So, folks, the constitutional sheriff movement is still doing very well in some aspects, in some respects, but it’s never been big enough and it still isn’t. And for the, for the funding that we’ve had, we’ve had an amazing run at the constitutional sheriff movement. And I’m really proud of the people that, that the sheriffs that have stood, the hundreds of sheriffs that have stood at one time or another, but especially during COVID 19 mandates there, there were lots of sheriffs who stood.

And it’s. Where would we be if the three times in the last 40 years sheriffs, three different times sheriff stood against the president of the United States, one was Biden, one was Obama, and one was Clinton, who saved the Second Amendment. If that hadn’t happened each of those three times, the Second Amendment would already be gone. Do I need to remind any of you how catastrophic that would be for the American people? So it’s, it’s been gratifying in a lot of ways, folks. But it also is probably one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever tried to do, and that is to get sheriffs converted to the Constitution and thus the importance and essential nature of their jobs in protecting liberty in this country.

Taking, taking back America county by county is still the purpose of the book and the purpose for which I live. And you know what? I’ve talked to Jack, everybody, you might as well know. I’ve talked to Jack about when I might be able to retire sometime. And it just doesn’t look like I ever am. People asked me at Freedom Fest and at the Red Pill Expo. Well, g. Sheriff, are you ever going to retire? No, I don’t think so. I’m going to keep doing this as long as I have breath in my body to one degree or another.

But you know, I’ve wanted to spend more time with church activities and my grandchildren and my children and so that doesn’t look like it’s happening. But as I showed in the photograph of dawn, my wife and my son Jim were with me at both the Freedom Fest and Red Pill Expo. And I’ve had two of my granddaughters do that with me two different times as well locally here in the Arizona area. So we did it in Prescott and we did it in North Phoenix. And so there’s my youngest son, Jimmy. Jim. We. He goes by both.

Sometimes he goes by JC because it’s James Corey Mack. And Jim is also a former MMA fighter. He was very good friends, those of you who know him with Justin Gaethje who just won the championship at the White House a few weeks ago, maybe a couple of weeks ago. And he and Jim used to work out together. And, and Justin Gaethje is from Safford, Arizona, where I was. From where I was sheriff and where I went to high school. Well, grade school, middle school, junior high, I mean, and high school and then junior college. So I love Safford, I love Justin Gaethje.

And I’ll tell you what, folks, I use my son Jim as a security guard because he’s, he’s about 6ft tall, weighs about 280 and he has the worst, most devastating right hand I’ve ever seen. And you get punched by that, you’ll be asleep for a little while. Yeah, he, he’s really a good fighter. So he got in a, he got in a motorcycle accident and that probably ended his career. He could go back now though. He really could go back now. But we’ll see. Nice to have your own built in security team. I like it. Yeah.

And so when I start doing more public events, I’ll probably take him with me because the way things are getting with people not liking the COVID of our new book, well, they’re going to fight over that cover. Of course. Yes, they will fight over the, the issues, but. Well, the Democrats that complain about the book, I just keep telling read the book first. Then let’s talk. Right. So. But. And I want to talk to him. I really do. Maybe we need to call a special meeting for CSP Way. Invite all the Democrats we can, but usually when we invite Democrats, they don’t show, so.

Right. But would be happy to. So maybe I’ll call the Democrat chair for the Maricopa County Democrat Party. I’ll see if she or he wants to do that, wants to team up. And then. Oh, I know. We’ll call the Green Party, too, and the Libertarians. And. And we’ll invite them all. Awesome. I. The couple things that I have remaining here. There was a comment underneath a story. And the story is about A Charlotte man, North Carolina criminal, who is had 24 arrests and 50 charges. Found guilty of strangulation. Even though the entire strangulation was caught on camera.

It was found not guilty. Yeah, he was found not guilty. He was found out guilty. And he could clearly be seen with his hands around the neck of the woman who was kicking, screaming, strangling to breathe. I mean, did he get completely exonerated? What? How? How and why did that happen? There’s a two minute story here if you’d like to hear it. Yeah, let’s do it. Yep. And then under that, there’s a comment that involves you. So that’s one of the reasons that I found it interesting. Oh, okay. This is the moment DeMont Forte kicks his girlfriend in the head, then pummels her to her back on his porch where he’s seen placing his hands around her neck.

We’re stopping the video here, but this freeze frame tells you everything you need to know. You can see her feet kicking, shaking, swelling because she’s struggling to breathe. Leslie Stevens is a prosecutor who leads the Felony Special Victims Team at the Mecklenburg County DA’s office. She says common sense would tell anyone this is strangulation. The 2023 attack went to trial this month where a jury only found DeMont Forte guilty of assault on a female, not guilty of assault by strangulation. Even the jury was perplexed. Everyone agreed on that jury that she was strangled. But under our current law, we have to prove that the strangulation caused physical injury.

The victim did have physical injuries, but she was kicked and punched multiple times, too. It was enough for some jurors to wonder which injuries came from what. It’s why District Attorney Spencer Merriweather is calling on lawmakers to change the law. It should be enough that someone takes their hand, claps it around someone’s neck, and tries to Demonstrate for them that they have power and control over whether or not they breathe again. That in and of itself in any civilized society would be felonious conduct. And somehow in our law, it isn’t. He’d like to see lawmakers throw out the requirement to prove physical injury by strangulation in order to get a guilty verdict.

And he wants enhanced penalties. Right now. Probation is likely the sentence. Forte was sentenced to probation for assault on a female. He’s currently in prison on a separate conviction. And a new strangulation law was actually introduced last week in the state Senate by Senator Woodson Bradley. She represents part of Mecklenburg county and she is also a domestic violence survivor. We will be sure to keep a close eye on this one as it makes its way through the process and keep you posted. Anyway, so that was the story that brought about the fact that I was. Had found a comment under it regarding you and it wasn’t under this one.

It was under somebody else who reposted it as black and. Oh. So hang on one second. I’ll have, I have to go back to email and grab it. Oh, I see. I have it in the, have it in another browser. That’s okay. We’ll get it up here in a second. So someone else who has a large following had posted that story and then under that story was this comment. It might come if only the sheriff would step up. Former Sheriff Richard Mack founded the csba, actively travels the country teaching these classes. His seminars focus heavily on the idea that county sheriff’s highest law enforcement authority in their jurisdiction and can block federal or state laws they deem unconstitutional.

I don’t know about that part. You could certainly put a muzzle on them in there. We, we certainly want to block corruption and tyranny from government. Yeah, but when, when they finally get something right, we, we don’t do that. And, but, but still, that’s not the way we put it. And you, you know that. That’s not the way we put it. But anything, anything repugnant to the we believe should not be enforced. Who said that the most? Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You know, we, we don’t enforce, we don’t obey laws that are unjust and laws that are based on hate and prejudice and racism and tyranny.

And most, most time you just say tyranny. And you know, as we said hundreds of times here on this show, the deputies or the two officers that arrested Rosa Parks should not have done so. The, the deputies and officers and sheriffs that arrested Martin luther king over 30 times should not have done so. The, the, the prosecutors who went after Trump and charged him with 34 felonies shouldn’t have done so, you know. So anyway, the stupidity keeps marching on. There’s a question about a lot of stupidity rampant in this world. I have this video from Ohio regarding a new law and I just like to get your opinion on.

It’s a minute, 25 seconds. It has to do with traffic stops. And also somewhere in there I heard him say this was going to apply to pedestrians as well, about having to identify yourself when there’s no probable cause. And they’ve just manufactured a law saying that that is absolutely going to happen. And so if you don’t mind, we’ll watch that for a minute. Yeah, let’s do it. Great. It’ll soon be illegal in Ohio to not identify yourself to a police officer during a routine traffic stop. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed House Bill 492 into law this week.

It creates a new offense that prohibits a driver or their passengers from in illegal traffic stop from refusing to give their name, date of birth or address, making it a fourth degree misdemeanor. It specifies that people in the car aren’t required to answer any questions. Beyond that, we have drivers that just absolutely refuse to cooperate. They refuse to answer questions, refuse to provide identification. Police groups, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol, lobbied in support of the bill. Police currently have the power to arrest somebody if they don’t identify themselves. When officers believe they’ve committed a crime, they can charge that person with obstructing official business, obstructing justice, or failure to disclose personal information.

But in some cases, courts have ruled officers can’t arrest somebody simply for not providing ID during a routine traffic stop. Police groups who lobbied for the bill say this creates a legal gray area and has also led to legal debates between officers and drivers about providing ID on the side of the road. It is becoming a problem as a dangerous situation for police. The House passed the bill in November. Eight Democrats joined most Republicans in supporting the legislation. It passed at the Senate along party lines last month and got the governor’s signature on Tuesday. The bill goes into effect 90 days after that.

Josh Group 13 Action News. Anyway, you can see there that if you look at some of the comments, state law does not supersede the constitutions. Passengers can’t be required to ID violates fourth amendments. State of Ohio is about to get sued. Drivers are under no obligation. But. But Jack, did you hear the one thing they said? I heard it all. Which one? Pursuant. Pursuant to a legal Stop. If the stop isn’t legal, then they still don’t have. You would surmise, assume, I guess, that you still don’t have to do identification thing. But you know, I’ve, I’ve seen this happen.

I saw it happen when I was an. An officer and other officers get all. Been out of shape. What I think they should make illegal for law enforcement nationwide to get into pride fights. We call that badge heavy cops. That because they have a badge and a gun and a uniform, they can demand anything from suspects. And you could see some of the shorts there. You can see these happening all the time where suspects tell somebody that I don’t have to answer any of your questions. I don’t have to give you a driver’s license. I’m not answering any of your questions, but it has been maintained.

And I saw this happen that you did. You could stop answering. And they even said this in this, what you’re talking about. You can stop answering at any time after you provide your driver’s license. And you don’t have to say anything else. In fact, I always like it when somebody tells me that they got stopped and that the officer asked, where are you going? Where’d you come from? And can I. Do you know how fast you were going? And so, officer, why are you asking me all those questions? Don’t you know why you stopped me? Yeah.

You need me to make up a reason? Yeah. Right. So. But yeah, it. If, if somebody were to hire. Hire me as a consultant, I would say be very courteous. And this one, this one still gets to me. Two, the officer says, I need you to see your license and registration before he tells you why he stopped you. And then the person in the car says, I am not answering any questions or providing any identification until you tell me why you stopped me. That’s the pride fight. And the officer says, no, you have to tell me first.

You have to show me your identification first. Officer, why tell them why you stopped him. If, if you, if you didn’t have a legitimate reason for stopping, they don’t have to give you anything. You know, so if your stop was bogus, why do they have to show you identification? You’re the one that pulled them over. Tell them why you stopped them. Then they’re without excuse, they should provide identification. Okay? And the officers end up shooting somebody or dragging somebody to jail or beating them into jail because of that is absurd and ridiculous. You’re an officer of the law and you’re there to protect people, not to push your weight around because you’re a heavy badge officer.

Okay. You’re, you’re the one that needs to be respectful. You’re the one that needs to de. Escalate the situation. And, and you’re the one that needs to not use excessive force because somebody refused to show you an identification. Come on, officer, let’s get with it. And that’s one of the reasons why we provide our constitutional training for law enforcement. And it’s one of the best de escalation trainings on the face of the planet. So. Okay, I gave my two cents. Good. Two cents. That was actually worth a dime. I think you mentioned that they’re there to protect you under the law, but that would only apply to a sheriff.

In my opinion, a police officer is more of a political policy enforcer. And you know, it looks like that it’s a police. Police. See? Policy, Policy enforcement. Police. Yeah. And we, we teach to say peace officer. Obviously. There’s sometimes I say law enforcement. Like I was the Law enforcement Officer of the year for the NRA back in 1995. You know, they called it that. So it wasn’t called the Peace Officer of the Year, it was called the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. And I, I’m not, I’m not strictly against that, say, ever saying it, but I do, you know, cspa, Peace Officers association, you know, and so when we can we promote that big time.

Right. In the remaining time we have, we have about five minutes. I don’t see any specific questions. I do have one or two more short stories if we want to bring them up. But let’s see here in the chat. And most LEOs are only bill collectors. Yeah. So when these people say, you know, routine traffic stop. Routine traffic stop is always a fishing expedition. And, and there’s no other reason I could imagine even call it a routine traffic stop. I just feel like not always, but it’s, it happens frequently. Yes. Yeah. I mean, what would be the other reason? Yeah, to see if your license is up to date or if there’s any.

Something. Yeah, but, yeah, but they have to have a legitimate reason to stop you. They can’t just be fishing and they, they, they can make a lot of them up and sometimes they do. So you have a tail light out, you have a license plate light out, or your, your brake lights aren’t working, or you got a front head, front headlight out. Any, anything like that at all. Now how about this one? They’re behind you and the officer decides just to run your plate for the heck of it. This one, this, that that one, he goes, oh, well, I decided to run your plate.

Well, what was the cause, what was the reasonable suspicion for running my plate? Now that. No reason. I just did it and it showed. You have a warrant. I think the officer is going to be okay on that. Do I agree with it? No, but the officer lawfully, I think, is going to be okay on it. See, what you just opened there is a can of worms that is, I know, credible. That’s why, that’s why you don’t want to have the state plate on your car, right? Because you got, you got this situation here and this is only related to it, but you got this woman here who’s accused of, of stealing packages off somebody’s porch.

This is a well off, older, middle aged woman who has no reason to steal packages. And they come up and they arrest her, you know, basically because of these flock cameras. The flock cameras said they saw you. Now, this is not just one incident, but what you’re talking about, flock cameras. And they’re everywhere. They’re on UPS trucks, FedEx trucks, you name it. They, they constantly notify police of, of plates that, you know, are either whatever, you know, you’ve been issued a warrant for your rest or your plate is actually dead or whatever. This is a terrible situation that puts humanity in at this point.

Because in the old system of law and the things that we grew up with, there was room, wiggle room for the fact that not everything’s perfect. I mean, I don’t, I don’t have all my paperwork up all the time. I can’t, I mean, it’s every minute I’m like, oh my God, you know, inspection stickers, gone. They’ve been gone for 30 days. And you don’t know that. And so now with these flop cameras and stuff, it’s like we’re living in a cyborg world where, you know, you would have a, an AI that told that does all this for you.

Well, that’s not really possible. So how do you see, how do we reconcile that with the fourth Amendment and, and shut this down? And that’s a big question in my mind. Well, that’s the whole thing and Stephen just mentioned it on one of the pop ups that, you know, folks, the police go outside their prescribed authority numerous times and why do people get stopped? And does, does the officer use his power to stop people to fish? Yeah, he does. And that’s why we have got to remember our rights. And we can refuse to answer anything of that officer except for the identification and yes, what comes first? The Chicken or the egg, it should always be the chicken.

In that case the officer. And I’m not calling him a chicken or anything like that. The officer should always tell a motorist why he stopped them. First thing up. If he wants to ask, hey, do you know how fast you were going? Go ahead, ask it. But they don’t have to answer that. But when he gets up to the car. So I don’t know if you know this, but you just ran a red light back there. Can I see your driver’s license and registration? If you don’t show it, then that’s on you definitely should. Do I like that whole system? Do I like the system of us having to have on our license plate on our vehicle, on our property that it belongs or owned by the state and that they can have our address, sometimes even phone numbers, name and address on every plate in this country? No, I don’t go for that.

Not at all. Great vision of privacy. Yeah. Anyways, that’s all we could do is keep fighting for the fourth Amendment. All these amendments and they were actually just there to give you a reminder of what you already had in the way of your life in the United States as a citizen. Your liberties. And being required to have car insurance. That’s completely bogus. That is, that is absolutely an outrage. Should you have insurance? Yes. Should you be required by law to have it? No. And, and get a TR. And get a ticket just for that, you know.

Oh, no proof of insurance. Oh, okay. You’re going to jail, man. Yep. The, the government cannot promote an industry or a company. And that’s it. That’s what we’re doing. And so if I. Okay, so what do you, what should you get? You should get your car insured and everybody in there. And then you should also get extra insurance for non insured motorists. They provide that already. Okay, so leave us alone. You know. No, I, I’m totally. That, that’s. What difference is that? For the government to promote that you have to get insurance from my brother in law down on.

Who runs a state farm office down on the corner of Main street or funding Planned Parenthood. They’re both private companies. And, and yeah, no, absolutely. I’ll get off my soapbox on that. Leave us alone. That’s laissez fair. You know, that’s the idea. Do we have a right to be left alone? Yes. And they’re supposed to guarantee that. Leave me alone unless I’ve heard somebody else. Yeah. That’s all there was. Criminal charges for no victim, no crime. And you know, if no one was harmed, bring them forth. Otherwise, if no one’s harmed, how can you get. How can you get a seat belt ticket? You know, no one’s harmed.

I know. All right, well, and the insurance companies brought those laws to. To the legislatures, too, and they paid a lot of money to get those laws passed. Right? I agree. I guess. I guess we. I guess we got another one under our belt here. I’d like to apologize, people for how busy I’ve been and didn’t make it last week, but I want to thank all of you so much.
