People are talking about, and we will too, the controversial, and I don’t think it’s controversial at all, appointments of people like Tulsi Gabbard to be the head of DNI, Director of National Intelligence. People are freaking out over that. We’re going to talk about that next, in the next segment, but right now I want to focus on who I think is the most controversial appointment. And it’s the one that could bring one of the biggest changes to the landscape of the politics of America. And it’s someone who most of you will never have heard of.

He’s a veteran Republican named Brendan Carr, and I’ve watched a couple of interviews with him, and I’ve got to tell you, if you think Matt Gaetz was aggressive, if you think Jim Jordan in Congress is aggressive, you ain’t seen nothing. This boy is tough as nails, and he’s on a mission to change the nonsense that’s going on. Now, most of you are aware, I used to be on YouTube, and I had hundreds of thousands of followers, and I was doing really well. I was careful about what I put on there, and I put on our TV show our more controversial content, still do, at thecommonsenshow.tv.

But I never had a strike, wasn’t demonetized, and I woke up one morning right after Thanksgiving last year, and my channel was gone. First, the explanation they gave me was dangerous conspiracy theories, and when I was calling on at the time, it was in the 60th anniversary of the JFK assassination, I called for the lawful release as mandated by congressional action, all of the files connected to the Kennedy assassination related to the CIA. And they have worked feverishly to block it, because they’re the ones that planned the killing. And for that, without any strikes, without any discipline towards me, my channel was banned, tells you the CIA stepped in and said take him off.

Now, I do admit, the Kennedy assassination is something I know a tremendous amount about. I spent 30 years working on it, and I was connected to people like Jim Mars. And also, too, I’ve formed a relationship in terms of interviewing with Jim Di Eugenio, who’s Oliver Stone’s consultant on the Kennedy assassination, and he does a great job. So I have some advantages there, and I do know a lot, but it was no reason for me to be taken down. Now, the Bible says, vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord. Okay, I picked up my pieces, and I began to go in a different direction.

And we’re not quite back to where we were, although our podcast is kicking butt and taking names. Yeah, we’re in the top one half of 1% of 3 million rated podcasts. We’re doing really well there. But in other areas, no, this YouTube thing really sucked the wind out of us to a large degree. And vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord, and vengeance is about ready to be delivered. And if you’re sick of the I have to measure what I say, I’m afraid to express opinion in a college classroom. I have to be careful what I teach.

I have to be totally woke. And yes, we should cut all kids’ genitals off and make them asexual. Yeah, I could go on and on. You get the idea. And this all stems from cancel culture. And we have a man now named Brendan Carr. His appointment is going to be blocked with extreme effort. He said, I am eager to fight the censors that for too long have discriminated against conservative voices online. He said, combating tech censorship is going to be one of the top priorities for the FCC. We need to restore Americans’ right to free speech.

You mentioned Facebook and other companies. Okay, YouTube. They’ve been part of the censorship cartel that has worked with advertisers. They’ve worked with government officials to censor free speech rights of everyday Americans. Well, I can tell you how they got YouTube to go along with. They’re costing themselves money by not having me on their platform and other people like me. They’re costing money. Sarah Westall, perfect example. But their ESG score from BlackRock, which is the most heinous evil organization on the face of the earth, controls major corporations through asset management, 92% in America. And then ESG ratings, you’ll do what we say, or we’ll destroy your ability to get loans.

We’ll get you fired as the CEO. We’ll replace the board. And they send people out to deliver that message. Now, they conspired illegally with government officials to censor Americans. That’s been covered in Congress. That’s illegal. Hello, they’re breaking the law. It’s called fascism, violation of First Amendment rights. It’s absolutely incredible what’s happened. So let me go on and sum up a little more. Section 230. Before I go here, I want to tell you my experience with Section 230 that’s going to be brought in. I’m at a conference with Gary Haven, good friend of Rand Paul, the founder of Curve.

So I think you know what his net worth might be close to. But he’s the most down-to-earth guy you’ll ever see. Wrist his life in Haiti along with my good friend, Doug Thornton. Oh, yeah. Doug, Joe Biggs, who Alex Jones cast aside, worked with Gary Haven to bring necessary life-saving supplies to Haiti. And they were in some dangerous situations. I interviewed Gary about that many times. We’re at a conference in Branson, Missouri. Doug Hagman is there, good friend of mine for years. Gary. And we’re sitting around talking, and I said, man, we’re coming up. In seven weeks, we’re going to have the midterm elections.

And this is after our day of conferences, and we’re at the pool having an adult beverage, which I rarely do. And I said, why isn’t Trump invoking Section 230 to stop the censorship and the bias against him? And Gary said, well, Dave, what is that? And I explained it. I said, if you are the owner of a platform, you’re not responsible if someone comes on and promotes pedophilia, as long as when you discover it, you remove them. But you’re also, if you have that protection, you’re not allowed to censor. If you do, now you’re accountable for everything that’s on your platform.

And Gary was like, well, you should. We got out our phones and looked it up. And it doesn’t matter how I found out. I just did the research, and it’s pretty basic. Well, Gary got on the phone, and we called someone connected with the Trump administration that he knew. We were on speakerphone, and I spent 20 minutes on the phone with this individual explaining Section 230 that he was unaware of. This is a bright guy, a very successful guy, a guy who I admire. And I’m not going to get into names here because he might become associated with Trump again.

So that was my experience with 230. And I said, Trump is going to lose the house if we don’t stop the censorship. And that’s exactly what happened. All right. So let me read to you a passage here about Brendan Carr, the nominee for FCC chairman in Section 230. Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. Back in November, Carr spoke out against the tech industry accusing tech companies of participating in a censorship cartel that not only included technology and social media companies, but advertising, marketing, and so-called fact-checking, which are joke organizations, as well as the Biden-Harris administration itself.

The relevant conduct extended from removing or blocking social media posts to suppress their information and viewpoints, including efforts to delist them, lower their rankings, harm their profitability, in my case, totally obliterate them. And the same with Sarah Westall. You know, Sarah was actually reinstated. This is kind of funny. She told this story on my show. She was actually reinstated for one day. And she didn’t even make a controversial post. And she was gone by the end of the day. Okay. Now, here’s what Brendan Carr is going to do. And it’s what I called for six and a half years ago.

As I told the Trump person, he needs to invoke Section 230 and hold YouTube, Facebook, and all the rest of these bastards accountable. Any time there’s any kind of porn on there, boom, nail them. Oh, well, then you have to stop censoring and we’ll stop fighting you. This is what Brendan Carr is going to do. It’s about damn time. By the way, this is what a joke YouTube is. I’m removed from dangerous conspiracy theories for calling for the release of the CIA files on JFK. That’s hardly a conspiracy. It’s not even a conspiracy. It’s saying it’s a fact that I want the law that was passed by Congress to be enforced.

There’s no conspiracy there. Now, when I appealed, they changed their tune because they had to cover their tracks that it was CIA driven. And then they said, bullying and harassment. Who the hell was I harassing? Oh, the CIA? Wait a minute. It’s a government institution. It’s our constitutional right. And some people would argue our duty as American citizens to hold our agencies accountable and are right under the First Amendment to express that view. YouTube, Brendan Carr is coming for you. I don’t know if it’s how Christian of it is me to say that it’s about time.

I’ll just say it this way. I’ll pray for the best outcome for everybody in Jesus’ name. And it’s about time. YouTube, Facebook, and all the rest of you communists, you’re in trouble.
