Summary
➡ The writer criticizes a proposed law in Arizona that labels obsessive political preoccupation as a public health crisis, arguing it could suppress free speech and lead to unjust arrests. They believe this law could be used to silence those who voice strong political opinions, even if they’re not breaking any existing laws. The writer also expresses frustration over perceived political corruption and unfulfilled campaign promises. They urge readers to be aware of potential threats to their freedom of speech.

Because this is scary. This is really scary. And we’re going to lay it out for you right here on the Common Sense Show. My name is Dave Hodges. I’m the host. We’re the show Freeing America. One enslaved mind at a time. We are brought to you by Noble Gold. Now, this war in Iran, the White House is saying 90% chance. This is what the spokespeople were saying. Okay, well, this is going to have a dramatic impact. And I’m going to do a piece on this over the next couple of days. But it’s going to do a dramatic impact on your pocketbook.
And it’s going to affect the banks. Now, some of the banks will do well. And a lot of the banks won’t. But if your bank is one of the ones that doesn’t do well, well, they can keep your money. Dodd-Frank 2010 says they can keep it. UCC Code Section 8 says they can keep it. They can keep your retirement if it’s associated. It should never have your retirement in any form associated with a bank. Now, Noble Gold can fix all that for you. Would you rather have an appreciating asset like gold and silver backing up what you have? Or would you just rather have a dollar that’s failing? And flailing? That’s easy.
Let Noble Gold explain it to you. No pressure. They’ll just answer your questions. I’ve been a customer for almost nine years. And I can tell you unequivocally, they will never, ever try to talk you into anything. You’ll literally have to close your own deal. Call 877-646-5347. 877-646-5347. And the interest of fair play, I got to tell you, there’s never a guarantee in any kind of an investment. But show me a better one than gold. Oh, through history, there isn’t one. 877-646-5347. Now, behind every lie is an element of truth. That’s how they get you hooked.
And behind every bad intention is a presumably good intention and usually government fakes you out to make you accept things that violate your rights like the Patriot Act in the name of keeping you safe. And let me just remind you before we launch into this, that Ben Franklin was really clear on this. If you trade your liberty for security, you will neither get nor deserve neither. And this, I think should be kept in mind as we go through this. This is Arizona Senate Bill 1712. And like I said, there’s some things in here I agree with.
There’s some things in here that should scare the living heck out of anyone who wants to live under the Constitution, the Bill of Rights of the United States. Okay, now be enacted by the legislative of Arizona. Okay. Paragraph A, the director of the Department of Health Services shall conduct or support research to advance the understanding of, look at this, obsessive political preoccupation. How do you define that? I put out four to five publications a day. And I’m concerned that we live in the most corrupt times in American history. Okay, I want it to change for the benefit of my younger family members that have to live in this mess.
My four to five, it takes me with my conversations and my research that I do, I spend about two to three hours a day in prep and then I produce. Am I preoccupied? Well, this is my occupation in retirement. Okay, occupations are defined by 40 hour work weeks. It’s about what I do, sometimes a little more, most of the time, a little bit less. So how do you define preoccupation? Okay, let’s continue. They want to know the origins, the manifestations and the long term effects on individuals, communities and public discourse. The research conducted shall be prescribed by subsection A of this.
And it shall include efforts to identify the initial emergence of the earliest documented cases of political preoccupation, including historical and social analysis to trace the onset. Okay, I’ll make it easy for if you want to come and grab me and put me in a loony bin or a prison or a FEMA camp. Let me make this real easy for you. In 1980, I read Pat Wood’s book he co-authored with Anthony Sutton called Trilateral’s Over Washington. Hey, I did that. And I said, boy, our democracy is not quite working the way we thought it would. It’s being run by the elite and they have circumvented the constitutional process in many regards.
And they’ve sacrificed American sovereignty and lessened the power of the president, the Congress and ultimately the Supreme Court as well. That was my conclusion after reading Pat’s book. Now, continuing forward with that, as my father began to reveal the work he did in the final two years of his life when he knew he wasn’t going to be around much longer, I got a real education on how things worked. So my excessive preoccupation goes back 46 years, 46 years, first exposure, reinforced at 42 and, excuse me, 40 and 41 years. That’s my preoccupation. So you’re going to come and put me away because I want the Constitution to be the law of the land with no exceptions.
Continuing. An investigation of the long term psychological, social or behavioral impacts of obsessive political preoccupation. Let me stop this bullshit right here. OK, I’m going to call it what it is. This is the old Soviet Union where they said, if you disagree with the government, you must be mentally ill. Therefore, we’re going to diagnose you with political schizophrenia and put you away and drug you for your own good. That’s exactly what this is. And remember, I said we export our nonsense to other states. We are, without a doubt, the most corrupt state in the country. You say bigger than California? Yes.
Yes. Continuing. An analysis of contributing factors such as media exposure. We ain’t going to get it from the mainstream media, so they must be talking about alternative media. Political polarization and social dynamics. Well, yeah, I don’t like people that are on the Epstein list and are serving in government. I don’t like people that are dual citizens and serve other nations interests before mine. Sounds like I’m pretty polarized there, doesn’t I? I guess I’m guilty again. Moving down here. Exploration of potential interventions or strategies. What else could they do to you? Can they take away your internet like you’re some child predator, like they do with people that commit those weird crimes against undeserving young victims? Well, they could, but I think it’s more likely we’re talking confinement and the old Soviet model of political schizophrenia, and they’re going to drug you.
And they’re going to confine you, and they’ll keep you as long as they want, and there’ll be no predetermined sentence. Like, if you get determined, I was reading this the other day, for First Defense, DUI under 0.15 in Arizona, you have a mandatory 10-day sentence with a $1,250 fine. That popped up on my news item today. Okay. If you get busted, you know when you’re getting out. With something like this, when you get locked up involuntarily, because you are a threat to other people or yourself, there is no release date. It’s when they say so. So, maybe if you start signing statements, oh, I’m so sorry I did this.
Hey, listen, I’ve now changed. I’m a Christian Zionist, and my dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the final covenant. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I take all that back. Please let me go. Is that what you have to do to get out? This is unbelievable, isn’t it? It says, not later than a year after the effective date of this section, the Director of the Department of Health Services has submitted a report to the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House. Okay. Do you remember this song? It was popular when I was a little kid.
They’re coming to take me away. Haha. They’re coming to take me away. Remember that song? Yeah, exactly. Okay. And they go through the various research things. Okay, but let me go right here down to paragraph F. The purposes of this section are obsessive political preoccupation means a behavioral psychological phenomena that is characterized by intense emotional or psychological reactions to Donald J. Trump, his actions or public presence or groups. Uh-oh, I’m guilty. Listen, I supported Trump in three elections. I spent 10 years of my life campaigning for this guy. I donated a lot of my professional resources and some of my private money to help get him elected.
And today I just called him out for corruption by handing out a lucrative war contract that will involve Iran war to his son, Eric, and his friend Howard Lutnick has big conflicts of interest with crypto. And I said, you know, crypto is going to explode because this guy’s going to make a hell of a lot of money and he’s put in charge, take advantage of it. And when he got caught, he just handed off the operation to his son. Does that sound? Yeah, I might be being a little critical of the President. I’m critical of the President because I think Netanyahu’s hijacked his presidency.
I guess I qualify. I have political schizophrenia. The legislature finds that the United States thrives on liberty, opportunity, and civil discourse. Yes. And I’m allowed to have a strong opinion, unlike what you’re saying here in this document. I can be supremely pissed off because purplocks aren’t happening with regard to the Epstein files. Purplocks haven’t happened to the Russian collusion delusion. Trump, this was against you. What are you waiting for? I saw the Senate hearings. I saw the House oversight committee. These people should be indicted and on trial right now. How come Waltz and Fry are walking free in Minnesota after $15 billion of theft of my tax money? Uh-oh, I’m a little bit pissed off.
I guess that I have to be medicated under state control. Unbelievable. Extreme political polarization has fractured our national unity. So I guess that you must fall into line. You can’t, I strongly disagree. Oh, don’t raise your voice. They’ll come and take you away. Don’t protest with a sign. Doesn’t matter if you cross police lines or you obey all police commands. Hey, you’re polarized. You don’t believe what we believe. We’re coming to get you. So we get this bullshit here from 2017 to 2020 and president Donald Trump’s tax cuts and jobs reduced the corporate tax rate from 35 to 21%.
What the hell does this have to do with the law and free speech? I acknowledge Trump did a good job in his first term. He deserved a second term consecutively. He’s like I said, his presidency has been hijacked. Uh-oh, I shouldn’t have said that. I’ll lock my doors. President Trump’s first term achieved record unemployment, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay. And this person, uh, champ goes through and says, uh, Trump deregulated. Okay. The Abraham Accords. What the hell does this have to do with political free speech? So he’s done all these things, right? You can’t speak against him.
Well, you know, I’ll tell you the best way to keep me from speaking against president Trump is for him to follow his own damn campaign promises. Unbelievable. So they’re still going down to here. Okay. Now obsessing political preoccupation has led to the significant social harm. American support. President Trump’s policies reporting discrimination, intimidation, ostracism, and professional academic and social settings. Yes, we have laws if they were enforced to defend against this. Workplace harassment, hostile work environment, personal harassment. Am I right? Assault and battery. There’s laws against this. Why do we need this free speech suppression element here introduced into the Arizona legislature? Coming to your state.
I’m going to do a search on this. Find out if it’s national. I’m sure it is. Okay. And so they still go through and basically if you oppose Trump, you’ve got political schizophrenia is what they’re saying. Okay. Now the legislature declares obsessive political preoccupation is a public health crisis and affects the mental health and social cohesion and political stability of the state. Okay. Let me explain something to you from my therapist background. There’s the Bible of mental illnesses. It’s called diagnostic and statistical manual. I believe they’re on the fifth edition now. And it is a listing of all the symptoms and the criteria for diagnosing every mental illness known to man.
And when I trained under DSM four, I think it was about 900 pages. Okay. It’s thick, really thick. Okay. Nowhere in there is their obsessive political preoccupation, i.e. political schizophrenia. Nowhere. Not listed anywhere. The Arizona legislature is turning itself into a mental health judgment body and they don’t have the credentials to make the judgment or make the calls on who is and who is not sane. Okay. The job of law enforcement is to determine, okay, criminal, non-criminal. Now you can’t threaten someone, but you sure as hell have the right to raise your voice in opposition to the tyranny that’s going on in this country.
But according to this document, you don’t have that right. Here it is. Your safety clause. Never been Franklin’s quote. The purpose of this act is to protect public health and respond to the harms of political polarization. Directing the Department of Health Services to conduct or support research on obsessive political preoccupation. It’s psychological and social impacts. Unbelievable folks. Requiring the Department to collaborate with mental health professionals. Oh, we finally get to bring mental health in here. Okay. Stakeholders to develop intervention. So if we don’t like what you say, we’re going to engage in pre-emptive crime prevention. So before you ever commit the crime and we think, gee, I don’t like what they’re saying.
They haven’t threatened anybody yet, but I think they might be going there. We need to go arrest them now and forcibly medicate them why we incarcerate them. That’s where this is going. Tom Cruise’s movie, right? This is unbelievable. This act may be cited as the Obsessive Political Preoccupation Study Act. It’s preliminary to the Suppression of Free Speech Act. I hate communism, but I have the absolute right to say, I believe in communism and we need to redistribute the wealth of the country freely. By the way, they’d put Mondani in prison over this. Seriously. Bernie Sanders would be in prison over this.
I can’t stand Bernie Sanders. I think his policies are treasonous to the fundamentals of the United States, but he has the right to say and do what he’s doing. He’s not breaking the constitutional laws that are in existence, but this could turn that on its head. And what’s that old saying? First, they came for this group and I said nothing. Then they came for that group and I said nothing. And then I said the wrong thing and they came for me. And they said I had political schizophrenia and they put me in a nut house and they kept me there for the rest of my days, forcibly medicated, yet very happy.
Folks, it’s coming to a neighborhood near you. I’m Dave Hodges. This is The Common Sense Show. The Common Sense Show. [tr:trw].
