Hello America. Dave Hodges here. I’m the host of the Common Sense Show. We are the show that is freeing America one in slave mind at a time. Thank you so much for joining. It’s really, really good to be with you. And this is a very, very dark day in American history. And my son and I were talking last night about the implications of Charlie’s assassination. And we were trying to recall how long it’s been since we’ve had an event like this of this magnitude. And it’s been a long time, A long time. Almost had it in Butler county last year.

But it’s. These events are so disturbing, ladies and gentlemen. We’re gonna, we’re gonna really where we go from here And I’ll just say this very quickly. The city of Phoenix, run by consummate liberals who stand against Charlie Kirk. It’s interesting because people aren’t buying the message. Charlie’s headquarters are in south Phoenix and I’m north of metropolitan Phoenix. And I have to tell you, the, the people by the thousands came to his headquarters to pay respects. And this actually got a fair amount of news coverage on our liberal TV stations. I was really kind of surprised. Now Fox has been wall to wall nothing but Charlie for the most part.

But with regard to the stations here, the cbs, Independence, abc, all the usual suspects of the. The news is what we tell you it is. The coverage has been, shall we say, rather interesting. I’ve been surprised. I am. I’ll say this before we go to our first break, msnbc. You showed yesterday why nobody should ever watch you. The things that you said about Charlie in the aftermath of his death. His kids may one day hear and replay his young girls, his grieving widow totally disrespected. I’m thoroughly disgusted. And all of you, all of you at that network need to look inside your soul and do a re examination of what you were saying yesterday.

I’m just thoroughly disgusted. I don’t believe in revenge. I really try hard not to judge, walk a mile in my shoes. But I think there’s no excuse for the stuff I heard. I heard wild eyed conspiracy theorist, far right wing lunatic and the man is dead. And this is the respect you show. And I was talking to my son about this last night and I told him, I said, you know, I don’t care how despicable political figure is on the the left who stands for everything I don’t believe in. I would never lower myself to that level no matter what my personal feelings towards the person was in an event like this.

And Then for the members of Congress, the members of Congress to jeer when it was suggested that they have a prayer and then the cat call for a moment of silence. I’m not a Mike Johnson fan by any means, but I want to give him credit that he went ahead and had a moment of silence for Charlie. And I’ll tell you, if an equivalent figure on the left had met that kind of fate, I would give the same respect. And these people are supposed to be leaders in our country and they can’t get beyond their own personal biases to display a decorum of professionalism and compassion which would be prerequisites for leadership.

And we have to listen to this garbage and this poor grieving widow is hearing that half of Congress is jeering any reference to his memory. Some people need to do some serious re examination. You know, I don’t do a holier than thou. I present the facts the way they are and say this is how I see it. And you guys take it or leave it. But I’m proud to say that I and the vast majority of my colleagues, the people are my friends, my inner circle, the Paul Prestons, the John B. Wells, Doug Hagman, Doug Thornton, Sarah Westall, none of us would ever do this.

I’m completely confident in saying that. And the thing that Charlie really stood for was free speech. And then he’d say prove me wrong and he’d have a debate with someone and never disparage them. You members of Congress need to watch some of the tapes of Charlie encountering these young people with some wild eyed views and how he would bring them back to earth and do it compassionately. Maybe you should learn to adopt a little less aggressive demeanor and act accordingly. The word shame comes to mind and I’m going to say this. Listen, I’m disgusted by both parties.

I’m just being perfectly frank. But I’m more disgusted by one party other than the other. And yesterday you showed the nation why. They’re right in walking away from your party and it’s happening in record numbers and you’ve brought it on yourself. And I’m going to make a prediction here, ladies and gentlemen. I’m going to make a prediction. Eventually the Democratic Party is going to fade away to the status numbers wise of the Libertarian Party. Although a much more hyper aggressive political approach than the Libertarians. But they won’t have much power. I believe the Republican Party is going to split into two and this is a turning point.

Yes, and the phrase is not used coincidentally. I believe people like Susan Collins and Murkowski and that ilk. They’re going to break the Republican party of rhinos away from maga and we’re going to have two distinct flavors of the same party. And the Democrats will move to a third party status. And I can’t say it’s going to happen by 2028, but this is already in process and there’s already deep division with the gop. And many of the GOP sound more like radical Democrats than they do gop, but they put GOP after their name because they live in areas that they couldn’t get elected if they ran as Democrats.

And this is the state our politics are in right now. We’re in complete state of upheaval. We truly are. I’m going to cover the impending Chicago events here. And we don’t even need to go any further than what I’m going to talk about to show you how much trouble this nation is in. We are in big trouble. And I don’t know about you people on the left, some of your views I find abhorrent. But I’m willing to set aside my personal biases in favor of helping to save this country. Because we have people internally and externally that want to take everything we have at any price, any cost, with no restrictions on their actions and motives.

And this is what a lot of people don’t realize in this country. We’re so embroiled in these intramural disputes, these domestic disputes and disagreements that we’re not looking at what’s really happening and who really threatens us. And I think if the most staunch conservative and the most wild eyed liberal would take a look at who really wants to take from me what I have, who wants to take away my rights, my fortune. We might see some different behaviors in Congress when someone of significance is tragically taken from us. And I’ll go back in time, a John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, a Martin Luther King, when these events happen, this should bring us together as a nation.

Say no, no, we’re not going to tolerate this. We may have our differences, but we’re not tolerating behaviors against our leaders. And I’m thoroughly disgusted at the selfish display of immaturity and uncouth behavior. And then members of Congress wonder why the public hates you so much. You have a 9% approval rating. The only thing worse is the mainstream media. You people ought to be embarrassed. You are not leaders. And this is why I’m calling for. Toss them all. We have midterms coming up. We can replace the entire House. Should be done in the primaries with the with the Republicans out with the people who aren’t in line with the Constitution and have gone to Washington to cash in personally with things like insider trading, which is legal for them, puts us in prison.

And we should really act against these people and get them out in the primary. Onethird of the Senate is up for re election. We need to do the same thing and a number of people and listen, I’ve heard from some Democrats in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk situation and saying, Dave, you and I are friends and we’re able to put aside our political differences and we enjoy each other’s company. I had this conversation a couple times and you say these people are incapable of doing it. And I’m saying, I know, I know, I know. I said, this is why we need to get rid of every one of them, clear the deck and start over.

Are there some that deserve to be returned to office? Yeah, there are. Jim, Jordan, Holly. There’s a few. Not many, not many. This should be galvanizing our country, this event with Charlie Kirk. If I did not like Charlie Kirk and it was someone from the left, let’s say it was Ilian Omar, this, for example, I find her views to be totally repugnant, anti American. But I would be, hopefully I would have the maturity to be the first to say this is wrong and we’re never going to tolerate this. But there are people in this country that want division.

And I was explaining this to my family last night that how can people be so insensitive, unprofessional, immature, because whether they know it or not, they’re embroiled in a Maoist cultural revolution. The objective is not the individual issue. The objective is to create chaos for the purposes of governmental regime change. Notice I didn’t mention change of the president, change of the Senate. We’re talking governmental regime change. That means getting rid of the constitution and the rights that are in it. And I see clear signs that we’re going through a Maoist cultural revolution. Many of the elements that overlap with the bolshevik Revolution of 1919.

Out of order or out of chaos comes order. This is what I believe we’re seeing. Let’s just dial back. What judge in his right mind releases a 14 time offended person before there’s. Before their term is up, well, before their term is up, releases them to kill a Ukrainian refugee young lady on a bus. And here’s the disgusting thing. You cowards on that bus did nothing to help her. And she’s laying there helpless and dying. No one came to her aid. This is really one of the saddest judgments of all because it’s just not the infestation that we see of insensitivity in Congress.

It has now permeated to the public, and many people are imitating it, and it’s disgusting. Because our national character, both the left and the right, for many, many decades, if there’s trouble, we’re going to be there first and we’re going to help earthquake victims. Remember the tsunami situation in 2004? You remember all that? Do you remember all that? That’s America. It’s what we’re supposed to be, but it’s not what we’re evolving into, and we need to call a halt to it. And it starts with changing leadership in the real term. Meaning of the term turning point for me doesn’t just mean what Charlie stood for.

Free speech, all views welcome, except maybe those that want to harm people. But I go beyond that and say the real turning point has to come in our heart and in our soul. I go to a very large church in the Phoenix metropolitan area, but it has a real hometown feel to it. And our lead pastor has said more than one time we’re seeing evidence of a revival in our community. And I agree with him. I see it, too. We need to have that revival nationwide, and all are welcome. I don’t care what your view is on something politically, you stand before that altar of Christ, and you and me are on the same side ultimately.

And the petty differences that come between us matter less and less. And if we don’t do this, civil war will come to our shores. We will go through that again. And with archaic weapons and outdated battlefield strategies. That war killed 700, 000Americans. What would happen today? And I don’t believe that the Charlie Kirk tragedy is going to be the last. And God help me for saying it, but I have told people, including my friend John B. Wells on his show, this is not the end. I believe Charlie’s murder. It looks. I mean, we’re talking pinpoint shooting from long range.

This isn’t a lone crazed assassin. This was professional. And if that’s the case, then none of us are safe. You’re not safe on the city bus. You’re not safe when you’re walking down the street. This has all the ear markings that we could be evolving into 1992, Bosnia. We’re going to the grocery store. If you were the wrong extraction was a dangerous event. It was an adventure getting home. I even wrote about it, called it Snipers on the roof. Same thing happened in Ukraine in 2014. Is that what you want to live in? Then we better look inside our soul, re examine it and stand for what Charlie stood for.

Which is you can have your view. No, we’re not going to get to threaten people. You’re not going to get to harm people. But you get to have your view. And you shouldn’t have to worry about retaliation. Oh, but we do. And cancel culture, censorship and now assassination. We are becoming a sick society. I don’t think most people are sick. But our society is infected and the disease is spreading to the people. The bus in Charlotte is perfect proof of what I’m talking about. And if ever any institution needs replacing of its personnel. Its judges. Its judges.

You won’t know the judges you’re voting for in the next election. Vote no on every single one of them. Well, woods are republic. I don’t care. Vote no. Toss them all. Who’s going to start that website? Toss them all. Dot com. Toss them all. We need to hit the reset button while we still have the opportunity. This ship is sinking and if we don’t start to bail water, which means get these people out, we’re not going to survive. This message has been brought to you by Noble Gold. And I have to tell you, ladies and gentlemen, as bad as the Charlie Kirk thing is, the more lasting impact on your life personally is what the Fed’s doing.

They’re wrecking this economy. You can call it incompetence, selfishness, greed. I don’t care what you label it, it’s happening. And at the end of the day, when our dollar is nothing in your bank account’s been confiscated for bailins of failing banks under Dodd Frank 2010. You’re going to say we should have done something. How did this happen? Well, there have been people like me and some of you who’ve been sounding the alarm for a lar. Very, very long time. I’ve been in radio since 2007. The website came online in 2012. I began writing for various publications back in 2003 and 2004.

I’ve been at this over 20 years. Some of you predate me. And we’ve been saying, it’s coming, folks, this is bad. We’re not going in the right direction. And if you wanted the cherry on the pie of that thought, it’s the death of someone who wouldn’t harm a fly. And that was Charlie Kirk. He wouldn’t harm anybody. And everybody that knows him knows you could be the most vehement political opponent and he had given you the shirt off his back. And that’s the spirit that we need to encourage and promote in this country. And it’s the one that’s missing in Congress.

Selfish people there for selfish reasons. Self aggrandizement. Selling out their soul to the corporations. Voting against the welfare and benefit of the people for their own personal gain. Why is insider trading in Congress still legal? Why aren’t there term limits? Why do we have people serving in the Senate and the House that are too old to even know who they are? Why? Why isn’t the 25th amendment invoked, both going back to Biden and now you see Nancy Pelosi and the clown that used to be the head of The Senate, Mitch McConnell, sell out, in my opinion, to China.

Why do we allow our politicians to take money from countries like China, our enemy? China’s already threatened us over Venezuela. They’ve threatened us over the South China Sea. They have sent people to this country that are now on trial for agro terrorism against. And they were agents of the ccp. We’ve been infiltrated at every level. They’ve compromised some of the members of Congress. We have shown this time and time and time again. Why? Why are we allowing people like Mark Kelly, Senator from Arizona, to take money from communist China? Why do we tolerate it? Are you tired of it? I’m tired of it.

Toss them all. I’m Dave Hodges and I’ll tell you if you want to protect yourself, you’re going to go to davehodgesgold.com I’ll get you hooked up with Noble Gold. Their phone’s ringing off the hook now. People. People that are beginning to see what we’re talking about. Davehodgesgold.com and at the end of the day, you got to take care of yourself. That means don’t. Don’t invest in the Federal Reserve note. Don’t invest in your bank. That Dodd Frank 2010, the UCC Code Section 8. They can take your money when they want. They can bail in means, oh, you know, $100 you had.

Well, it’s now worth 30. That’s the best case scenario that’s coming. Don’t be a victim, Dave. AES Gold.com set that aside. Toss them all. This needs to be our banner call. We maybe need a national list who deserves to be reelected. That’d be a short list. People will be able memorize that list. I don’t think you have to take off your shoes to cover the ones that deserve to be re elected. You count them on two hands. And if we don’t do it. We’re not going to turn this around. And this, if we toss them all, so to speak, this could be the ultimate turning point and perhaps the senseless murder of Charlie Kirk, whose two little girls will never see him again, whose wife is widowed at a young age.

Perhaps this will be Charlie’s greatest contribution as he serves to be a turning point. And I would ask you to remember too what he stood for. Free speech for all. Started it when he was 18. He was a visionary. I believe it was God’s purpose for him and he carried it out well. And I’ve had such a range of emotions as I know a lot of you have. I like Charlie. Every time I encountered him, I respected just about everything he did. Was there an occasional. I don’t know about that Charlie, but that’s how we are with our own family.

At 31, he was truly a great American. And he was a symbol for the younger generation, which if you ask me, Dave, what could be a possible motive for this? I don’t know. I don’t know. But you know, I’ll tell you one thing pops in my head. He was changing the minds of young people about the importance of being in politics and respecting each other. And that’s a message that some in this country, including some of our so called leaders, they don’t want that message out there. Say a prayer for Charlie’s family and ignore the people like members of Congress that would jeer you for doing so.

God bless Charlie Kirk in turning point that I don’t believe ever harmed anybody. What was that song by Billy Joel, Only the Good Die Young. That may not be universal in its application, but the lyrics are appropriate in this case. I’m Dave Hodges. This is the Common Sense Show.
