I was going to ask the sheriff back in August you had you publicly stated then I agree with you 100% that if you want to prevent school shootings or whether they’re real or contrived, we should arm people in the school when you caught a little bit of flack over that. Is that correct? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Sure. As usual as usual. And I’ll keep on saying that again and again. It’s a proven fact. You hear other stories from around the country where they have armed people within. Within their schools and it stops the perpetrator pretty damn quick.

Simple thing too, that would be great. It’s funny how we have laws in state of New York here that you can’t offend people with certain signs or things like that. But yet they can put other kinds of flatter things in the area that are against what our country’s found out. I said this. Let me have a big 8 by 12 piece of plywood that says every teacher inside this school has a pistol permit. That’s all I gotta say. Yeah. I can’t put that in front of the school though. That’s offensive. You know, come on. Yeah. That’s incredible too because absolutely saying that there are trained armed individuals in the school and the sheriff’s department could get behind the training who are going to be armed all the time.

There will be nobody come to your school, you know, attempting to shoot somebody. They only go to places where there’s an absolute guarantee. Well, Donald Trump said he was going to get rid of the gun free zones first day. Sure. How do we call up Donald and say, man, you forgot that one, bro. I’ll be careful on that one, Sam, but you’re right. I know, but I’ll be careful on that one. I’m just saying he can do it. You know, he promised to do it. Let’s go. Because if we got rid of the gun free zones, we would decrease a lot of these shenanigans.

Yeah. It’s not like I want to shoot people, but I will say this. Sometimes if you crack down hard, you know, one or two or three very high profile cases kind of set the stage is like, hey, don’t do that because you will die. Don’t, you know, and every time a bad guy with a gun is stopped, it’s because of a good guy with a gun. Don’t you want the good guy? Good guys to be there sooner. That’s the only question left, right? Absolutely. Absolutely. You know, yeah. And then when I was growing up in high school, there were guns in the school all the time.

And there were all, there was always a gun in the, uh, that’s cause we’re going to go hunt rabbits after school, Jack. Well, and in the school official, the, the, the, uh, had was a hard ass and, uh, you know, he had a shotgun in the back room. You weren’t going to come into that school and create the kind of problem that’s requiring a gun and not notice that he has one. And of course, you know, things are a lot different than they are now, but that’s the way it goes. Jack and Samuel, you said that if you get to him somehow, I’m not, I’m not a guy to try to stay as humble.

I don’t brag. And that’s not bragging, but I’m pretty proud of this. And I, I one time sported a cowboy hat for sheriff Mac. And this is the guy that got to see it. And I stood right next to him and he actually signed my hat instead. He’s really happy to see a sheriff in New York state wear a cowboy hat. That’s pretty cool. You have that. We need cops, we need borders and we need safety. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s just be very, very clear. Uh, we don’t want the officers to walk out. And the best way you can have the officers not walk out as you as a member of the constitutional sheriff’s and peace officers association can go to your sheriff’s and to your law enforcement and peacekeepers and say, Hey, you know what? We want you to, to stand up and protect us.

And we’re grateful for your leadership and your service. And I don’t think the police get enough of that. They just hear how horrible they are, how they made the wrong decision. How, well, if your life was on the line every day, you wouldn’t be perfect either. So we got to give them a little bit of grace, I think is really important to kind of understand as well. Ladies and gentlemen, now, you think most of these people understand their constitutional rights. You think that they don’t understand their rights is the problem or that there’s not enough of them to stand up for their rights.

What do you think the real issue is in some of these big cities? Sheriff? Oh, there’s definitely enough people to stand up and know their constitutional rights. It’s unfortunate that many of the educational institutions are not teaching them about the Constitution, about the founding fathers and the principles of our country. And that’s our biggest problem. And then the people who have come here again, like I say, they’re not coming here, you know, to contribute, to help or to further our country the way that we know it. They’re here to literally pillage, take every advantage of what is provided by the Constitution and by our government, but not give back or not go forward and teach their children.

United States is a place of opportunity, if you’re willing to work, if you’re willing to go ahead and self-educate and learn the things. So what do you, I mean, I just saw that somebody in your state legislature at some level is now attempting to go after Ruger in the same way that they went after Glock, you know, and attempting to say that they’re building weapons that can be turned into automatic weapons. And this is a new technique, right, a new strategy, an escalation in the war against guns as to manufacture the idea that these guns can easily be turned into machine guns.

And Ruger’s got a new weapon out, a new handgun, I think they call it the XRM. But had you heard that? We’re like an automation these days, isn’t it? The new buzzword, we’re going to have automation and everything. Yeah, we’re going to have an automated automation gun, you know, my gun’s just on automation, ladies and gentlemen. Let’s make it great again. I like that, Sam. No, Jack, you’re right. It’s, you know, it is, it’s again, it’s the people who have the power or are attempting to take it from us and implement another style. You’re done right, they should be afraid of us having, you know, a suppressor’s type kind of firearm against that.

Why? Because then they can’t overtake us. That’s the whole thing of it. It’s nothing about breaking laws or wanting to, you know, create murder. There’s a difference between murder and fighting for what your life, fighting for your family, and for this country. There’s a difference. Well, and then when they label guns, I’ve labeled my own gun, because if we’re allowed to use labels, I can make up my own. And mine’s called a rape me knot. Yeah, that’s a good name. Pull out the rape me knot and say, listen, it’s time to go home, people. Well, they want us at a disadvantage.

And so, you know, if they had their way, we would be, remember when Joe Biden said, all you need is a shotgun with two rounds in it. And you should go out on the back porch and shoot it in the air. I guess he didn’t concern himself with where those pellets were going to fall. But yeah, that’s what they’d like to have us is completely disarmed. But it’s another technique. And I’m surprised, I guess, that manufacturers will cave to that. And of course, that I think was in California where that began. But that’s the next strategy.

Yeah, you know, to exactly they found a way to cripple them financially, you know, they throw up bigger attorneys or they find judges on on on and don’t take this out of context. But you know, they find judges on their payroll that they can use to get decisions made. That’s the problem. That’s that’s our problem. Yep, no claim into that. Okay, I got one last story that I think is worthy of discussing, by the way. There’s a US army owned facility. It’s called Lake City Army ammunition plant. Okay. It’s outside of Kansas City, Missouri, and they manufacture AR 15 ammunition.

But it turns out that their ammunition is frequently found at crime scenes more than all other manufacturers. That’s according to new data from the B.A.T.F. people. This data obtained through public records and public record requests by the New York Times and others, and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, they say from 2017 to 2024, hey, their ammunition shows up at criminal scenes more than twice as often as ever. Any other manufacturer of what do they call it? I guess it’s 223 and 556 rounds. And these findings, they say coincide with high profile mass shootings, including anyway, they go on and explain what shootings and all that kind of stuff.

Jack, my question to you is, we need to chase the money on this thing. We need to find out really what’s happening. And is this because there’s usually a government provocateur in the mix there? Is that why it’s like that? What do you think gives with that? You know, I look into that company because this story is not new. And, you know, they, first of all, they make the lion’s share of it. So you’re going to see it in more incidences. But they also provide the they’re a direct source to the government. And they, you know, they’re basically the primary go to and have been, I don’t mind.

It reminds me of Gunwalker or whatever you want to say, Operation Gunrunner, doesn’t it? Yeah, it does exactly like Gunrunner. So anyway, that’s all that stuff’s logical. They’re going to end up there. But, you know, they’re really drawn for straws if they’re attempting to go to that level to to create a way. So, you know, they’ll end up shooting or shutting down these plants, which is what their idea is. And you have companies like Remington that don’t even try to fight. So we know that they’re insiders anyway, that’ll just walk away from this. And the idea is, if you can’t have ammunition, you can’t have any protection anyway.

So it’s not a new story. And I know what’s going on. Yeah, you know, you talk about Remington, as you know, not too far from West Side, just south of me. We had the Remington gun factory right here in Ilion, New York, in fact, by Little Falls, a great manufacturer. Many guns bought, you know, throughout the years by our grandfathers, our fathers, you know, that we use for firearms for hunting and also for protection. And they did the same thing. They finally gave up. They sold out and took off and left us high and dry. And a lot of people who believed in the Remington, you know, company.

So I know exactly what you’re talking about. Well, it’s like Beretta got run out of Maryland and they said, okay, we’ll take our, I think they had in one plant 30,000 employees. We’ll just move those over to North Carolina. It takes where they went. But, you know, these states, they’re self policing that sense. Assuming that there’s still a state left where people of reason and the kind of people that would be supportive of constitutional run or have some control of. I don’t think anybody’s run by constitutionalists anymore. But if they can run to these states and then the other states, I mean, what’s New York going to have if it runs out all of its people in New York City, all the businesses and the great people that made New York wonderful at one time.

What is that going to be? I mean, is it going to be just something like Chicago, which is now what, a war zone? It’s going to be the newest place, Jack, to film a Batman movie. Yeah, or Escape from New York 2 or whatever. You’re going to have Donald Trump cameo because you can’t have anything without trumpet these days. So you got to have Trump cameo in that sucker, don’t you? Just imagine President Trump and Carbonelli, Sheriff Carbonelli cameo in that baby. I’m with Sheriff Carbonelli. It was the series from the 70s, Beretta. Do you remember that? Oh, I sure do.

It’s a great show. I watched that. I watched Adam 12, one Adam 12. You know, I grew up in stuff like that, Starsky and Hutch. Yeah, here I am today, you know, my favorite, Jack. Jack, my favorite, Marshall Dillon. Oh, yeah, well, absolutely. I should have been 20 years. I mean, but I was just thinking, Beretta, I think I was supposedly New York City, right? Don’t do the crime before if you don’t want to do the time. And back in the good old days when it was just like, I don’t know. It was a fun world when you grew up in America circa late 50s and on.

It’s all gone now. So what do you, my last question to you, Sheriff Carbonelli, is we see, and this is one of my big pet peeves, and Sam knows this, but freedom of speech is under attack, like never before in history of the United States. And of course, their method is to redefine speech into, you know, categories. You have hate speech and anti-Semitic speech, and then you have free speech, which sooner or later will be about how your cat looks after the latest shampoo and that sort of thing. But I see, you know, I see police having to go British style.

And that is now gone to people’s doors and say, you know, we didn’t, somebody didn’t like what you said on social media. You offended this community or you offended that community. How do you feel about being told as it gets progresses that, you know, you’re going to have to go arrest somebody because they said something anti-Semitic, or they said something anti-whatever. I find interesting about the anti-Semitic term is that if you say anything that the Jew doesn’t like, then you’re an anti-Semitic thug hater. Absolutely. But if they treat me as a white male, heterosexual, married, Christian, conservative, constitutionalist, and they abuse me, there’s not even a word to describe it, is there? Not a word.

No, no, you’re generally. So do you feel that’s coming your way? You know, for me, no, I’m not, at least not in my area. I’ll go back to this again. I’ll go back to the COVID era. You know, I was called, there was a school that was stopping some of the parents from speaking out and this and that. And one night I decided to go to one of the schools, you know, just random. I walked in the back of the auditorium, sat down. I watched the superintendent, the principal, and some of the better members starting to tell parents they couldn’t say this, they couldn’t say that.

This wasn’t going to happen. And then I raised my hand way up in the back. And somebody said, can I help you? And I stood up and said, you sure can. I walked down and I said, Sheriff Carpinelli. Well, the whole place erupted in applause. And I said, I’m here to speak on behalf of these people you’re not going to let speak. And I think you forgot all about the First Amendment. And I’m not going to take your three minute limit either. So, you know, either we can solve this, like, like, like human beings and understanding our Constitution, or we can go down the, you know, the idiot hole.

What’s it going to be? And we went out, we did went out and it was good. So, you know, I’m the same way here, you know, and anything else with the people. Jack is where enough people stand up to count right there. Yep. I wish I were in the room. I would enjoy every minute of that. My life sometimes, but other than that, I’m okay. That’s part of life. Sheriff, do you have a parting shot for us today, sir? Um, you know, I just again, and I just want to thank you guys for what you do.

Sheriff Mack for what he does, and for putting put it out there for everyone, giving people the opportunity to interact and talk with you to hear you. And, and I know it’s, again, not, um, well, I’m just going to say it, you know, I think it’s a darn shame, uh, with Charlie Kirk, what happened. Um, and, you know, you talk about, uh, silencing speech that any, any of us that speak up, um, it’s, it’s terrible to say anything like that happened to any of us. That’s not the world that we should live in.

It’s not the world that’s going to be. And, uh, as long as we follow our, again, our constitution, our, our, our, our God-fearing ways, uh, we’re going to steer this country back in the right course. And we got to take the pledge out of the playbook of Charlie Kirk and say, look, we want to peacefully restore the Republic folks. We’re not the violent ones. Let that be resoundingly clear. No doubt. We have a right to self-defense, a God-given inalienable right of self-defense as an individuals and as society at the same time.

We’re not the ones that are starting this violence. They’re out of control. And it’s evident for people to see if they’re just taking the time to look about who the peacemakers are and who the violence makers are. And let that be your guide. Let the fruits of their labors tell the tale, Jack. I agree with you a hundred percent, Sam. And, um, I want to say, you know, men like Sheriff Carbonelli and the others that we have on here and those that Sheriff Max tell us about, uh, that are heroes in his mind are just great men.

And the world that we would live in and paint and produce is a free world. And for whatever reason, these people who control our lives have no interest in anyone being free. And yet they want to, and to make that happen, they further teach the individual that being free is not something they want to be. And, uh, you know, I want to go out today playing free bird, Jack. Yep. It’s just, I want to live in a world where I’m not told what to do and, uh, I can do with that. I need to do within the limits of my ability to do it and not hurt anybody else.

And I want everybody else to live the same way. And that’s all we’re looking for here. You know, it’s so everything they make up and say about us is a lie. And, uh, you know, I only know how to make that clear. It’s just, that’s what it is. But I want to say, thank you, Sheriff Carbonelli for being there. And, uh, and thank you, Sam, for doing what you do every, every single day, getting up and. You’re very welcome. Sheriff Carbonelli, thank you. We owe you lunch, my friend. Thank you guys a lot.

Appreciate being on with you big time. You bet. There he goes. By the way, Jack, the reason I say I own the lunches, I always take the opportunity to get a good lunch out of it. Come on. Well, I’ll meet you in New York and we’ll, uh, we’ll do lunch. All right. We’ll see you all. Thanks folks for, uh, hanging out with us today. It was a lot of fun and I enjoy very much, uh, speaking with Sheriff Carbonelli, um, seems like the kind of guy I’d like to, uh, know personally, but, um, among all these great men is the idea that we live in a constitutional Republic and we need to somehow secure it and to once again, uh, assert our right to continue to live the way we want to live.

So the only way we can do that is to spread the message, help people understand the cspua.org is where they can begin. They can sign up, become a policy member and, uh, you can help us out in any other way you see fit, including buying things from the store and using the donate button at cspua.org slash donate. We’ll see you all next week. Thanks for coming. Talk to you then. Bye. [tr:trw].
