Summary

➡ In this audio chat, health enthusiast Kat Rodimbo discusses her experience with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. After her daughter was diagnosed with autism, Rodimbo discovered the therapy and saw significant improvements in her daughter’s condition. She explains how the therapy works by increasing the amount of oxygen in the body, which can help remove toxins and improve overall health. Rodimbo’s positive experience led her to start 1-2-3 H-Bot, a company dedicated to making this therapy more accessible.
➡ Hyperbaric chambers, which increase pressure and oxygen levels, can boost mood and reduce inflammation, acting like 40 doses of ibuprofen without the side effects. They can also improve cognitive function and emotional status. The therapy has been found to help with a variety of conditions, including traumatic brain injuries and PTSD, by enhancing oxygenation, respiration, and circulation, and reducing inflammation. Good afternoon, Patriots, and welcome to the 175th audio chat on the CUNY’s Patriot Rebel Channel series. I’m the CUNY’s Patriot, joined today by health enthusiast and hyperbaric oxygen therapy advocate, Ms. Kat Rodimbo. My name is S. Gianan. For the audience out there, this chat is going to be a really fun rabbit trail from our usual discussions around wellness, dark agendas, and geopolitics. Ms. Rodimbo is a successful entrepreneur and a longtime alternative wellness enthusiast, and she has a special focus on a little thing we all need called oxygen. You might be surprised to learn just how much more goes into our breathing than we typically think about.

It’s an honor to have her here. Kat, thank you very much for joining us today on the show. I am honored to be here. Thank you. Well, so I’ll admit I have a ton of questions on this particular topic. After I had my spine surgery in 2023, which a lot of the Patriots that follow this program are going to be aware of, proper breathing was a huge part of that recovery process. And I really credited actually to some of the rapidness, along with well-meaning prayers and intentions from folks out there. And I can attest to the benefits of hyperbarics from a self-administered lens, but your expertise goes a lot deeper.

So I want to get into that here in just a minute. But since you’re coming on the show for the first time, do you mind to tell us just a little bit about Kat Rodimbo and what got you into this labor of love that you’re doing now? Absolutely. Like many people, I fell into this world of the alternate healing through being a desperate parent. My daughter was vaccine injured when she was 18 months. And she went from being a normal developing child into nonverbal and all the things that go along with what she was later diagnosed with autism.

And I just, like any parent, was desperate to find some answers. And I was not going to sit back and take what the doctors were telling me at the time, which is you find ways to cope. This is your new normal. This is the reality. And, you know, facing the nightmare of what happens when I pass, who’s going to take care of my nonverbal child who will be an adult at that point. And so my husband and I started looking into everything. And one of the things that we found when she was about seven years old was hyperbaric therapy.

And that was just at a support group. Another parent said, hey, this helped my son, might help your kid. And we found a local doctor and I couldn’t afford at the time because we had been throwing all of our money at everything. Couldn’t afford the treatments. And so thankfully, I had some experience doing medical billing in college and I was able to do one of those quick quote pro kind of things with the doc. I did some medical billing for him in exchange to let my daughter treat. And the changes that we saw in her, she started speaking.

She started having better sleep. She started actually socializing for the first time with her peers. It was profound and it was life altering for us as well. And we needed deep from our souls to let other families know that this might help them. And so that is how it all began. Really incredible. So you all had a situation then there on the family front, a health challenge, one that was pretty intense, if I can say so myself and sort of the same old story in many regards. You explore all the main therapies, then you explore the alt therapies that people are aware of.

And then you start getting into those almost like witch doctor areas, like going and getting a can of oxygen from the store, for example, just sorts of those types of things that people think about. But it turns out that a controlled hyperbaric therapy actually dramatically improved this situation, if I’m to understand this correctly. Yes, the fact is most of us have toxins, heavy metals, a lot of stuff that shouldn’t be in our bodies in our bodies. And it’s very difficult for our bodies because we’re under perpetual attack from our environment to deal with it. And we also tend to not breathe well.

And what we’re breathing is polluted in many cases. And so this noninvasive therapy is a way to get more oxygen in your body and to change it through pressure into a bio ready form so that it can go further faster and it can help pull out or push out in some cases, things that don’t belong. Very interesting. So, you know, for the audience out there, neither of us here are healthcare practitioners. This isn’t medical advice, but Mr. Dumbo, do you mind to give us a little bit of a window into how that extra oxygenation sort of supercharges the cells of the body? Absolutely.

So when we’re in a normal environment, like probably most of your viewers are right now, you’re breathing ambient air and in a perfect world, it’s about 21% oxygen. When you inhale, you’re able to hold about 6% of that oxygen. It’s in a gas form. And it travels from your alveoli, your red blood cells are the couriers like FedEx drivers, and they load up their trucks with oxygen molecules and they transport it throughout the body via your circulatory system. Your plasma isn’t generally carrying the oxygen, but rather the blood cells or the FedEx drivers that are carrying the oxygen.

When they encounter things like inflammation or scar tissue, things like that, that’s a traffic jam and it’s a slow down and in some severe cases, an abrupt halt to the delivery of the oxygen. And as we all know, we need that oxygen to survive. So when you put your body into a pressurized environment and you are breathing it into your plasma, it’s going to change from a gas form into a dissolved form when they’re in contact with a liquid. In this case, your plasma. So you breathe in, you’ve got that oxygen coming through the alveoli loading up on the trucks under pressure, dissolving, pouring out of the trucks into your plasma.

Your plasma becomes hyper oxygenated and in that form, the oxygen is able to not only travel faster because it’s smaller, but also pass through non-invasively your blood-brain barrier and pass through the walls of your veins and your arteries out further into your tissue. So your body becomes hyper oxygenated as well. And that encourages your cells to do what they’re supposed to do, which is clean up and heal and function properly. Very, very interesting. So then I’ve got another question that sort of piggybacks right off of that, and this ties back to my own experience with the deep breathing exercises that I did literally for months after a spinal surgery.

You know, I noticed sort of profound circulatory changes in that process, especially if I was lying a supine on my back down on the ground. That was after the initial recovery period, of course, when I was able to get down there just for the folks out there that might consider doing this at home. But fundamentally, you know, as I went through that process and I had some pretty controlled diaphragmatic breathing, I noticed that my heart rate seemed to change. I had a clarity that came to my head. It was almost like this fuzziness and then it would give way to clarity.

Can you help explain to the audience what was going on with my own personal experience based on that description? Well, oxygen is life, the breath, the chi of the body, and most of us don’t have enough of that. And so I think what you were probably experiencing is what we’re supposed to experience all the time, and yet so rarely do. Yoga breathing is so excellent. Hyperbaric is kind of a cheat for that. It’s a lazy way to do it, but when you’re breathing enough, when you’re getting enough oxygen, everything is able to fire at the rate that it’s supposed to.

And the systems throughout your body, your circulatory system, your respiratory system, and so forth are all able to function at a more optimal way. Fair enough, and that makes a great deal of sense when I reflect back and I consider sort of the overall sensations and that experience itself. So then, you know, if I can, I want to fast forward a little bit, you all went through this experience, you found this profound, you know, therapeutic that improved your daughter’s life dramatically. Is that what led to 1-2-3 H-Bot, and what is 1-2-3 H-Bot? So 1-2-3 H-Bot is because I’m so taken aback by how simple this therapy is.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3, and that’s how we came up with the name. After we saw the profound healing in our daughter, and of course we were in with her, she was a child. I used to suffer, we’re up in the Northwest, I used to suffer from seasonal depression, something awful in the winter, we call it the long dark. And what I didn’t know at the time is when I was in the chamber with her, yes, it’s helping her, but I’m in there too. The hyperbaric chamber, the pressure, it’s not just focused on one person, it’s every body that’s in the environment.

And it increases your dopamine and serotonin release. And so I found that even though it was the dead of winter, I was smiling more and able to handle things in a much more positive way, which as you know, it makes all the difference. And then my husband had been a police officer in the years before and had been in a terrible auto accident, which thankfully he survived from. But he had a lot of inflammation throughout his body. One hour in a soft shell chamber does the equivalent anti-inflammatory of 40 Motrin or ibuprofen without the toxic response.

That’s a lot of anti-inflammation. Absolutely powerful. And as you were going through that there, I pulled up an article here on this end from PubMed discussing oxygen therapy in patients with breathing disorders. And we have a conclusion here from the abstract. Long-term therapy improves cognitive function and emotional status. And so the audience out there for this show is going to be pretty familiar with the idea that our bodies are both a physiological specimen. They’re an organism, but they’re also a biochemical and a bioelectric organism. And oxygen, along with other things, sort of seems to be the fuel that ignites that fire.

We think of it as a rocket fuel, but it’s really sort of the fuel for our rockets as well inside of our own bodies. How much of that do you all get into on your end when you look at the effects of oxygen on the ability of the brain to function? You described a car accident a moment ago and the ability of the body to be homeostatically at peace with itself. Well, over the years, we worked with a lot. We ended up opening up a clinic and treating people, over 20,000 individuals, coming through the doors with a myriad of issues and conditions.

But we lived near a military base. So there was a lot of traumatic brain injury, PTSD, things like that. And we noted a lot of people experiencing relief from those symptoms, whether it was a physical injury or an emotional one. When you go through some trauma of witnessing someone that you care about blown up in a Humvee, for example, you can’t get over that easily. Most people can’t, and your brain will encapsulate that emotion to protect you. And with hyperbarics, we found time and again where people would suddenly remember something traumatic that had happened to them and then feel a release.

And so, yeah, I think oxygen is an amazing natural thing that you can harness and heal from. I have to say, I’m very compelled with it in my own personal experience. And so we’re coming in here to our closing segments for the audience out there. Some of these chats are going to be shorter and some of them are going to be longer. You know how things go on this particular platform. But I want to come over here to your website, Mr. Dumbo, and go through a segment of 123hbot.com. Oxygen is the foundation for life. Every single cell in our body requires it to keep bodily processes functioning correctly.

It’s carried throughout the body, of course, via the circulatory system. We come down here a little bit. Pressure can lead to narrowing, excuse me, the swelling caused by fluid buildup inside the body through the inflammatory process can put pressure on blood vessels and it leads to narrowing or blockage of blood flow. So in other words, you’re talking about a noninvasive safe therapy for improving the vascular system, for improving the cognitive system, for improving the functionality of the cells. I would wager probably at the mitochondrial level. We’d have to dig up some research on that. But there seems to be some indication, some crossover there is based on things that I’ve read before and things I’ve personally experienced.

And something I find very, very interesting is the anti-inflammatory properties of increased oxygen and air pressure affects almost 200 conditions which hyperbarics are able to be intersected with for success. And so do you mind to give us, without making any medical claims, of course, what some of those conditions out there that may afflict individuals watching this show, what sort of conditions are applicable to oxygen therapy? I would say any condition that can benefit from better oxygenation, better respiration, better circulation, all the Asians, I guess, the things that can benefit from less inflammation above all, which if you look at most conditions, whether it be post-surgery or just, you know, it worked out too hard at the gym, if you have inflammation, which is not necessarily a bad thing at first, but you need to work through that.

This is a really nice way to make that happen. Absolutely fantastic. So I just want to double check, Ms. Rodenbo, as we close out our conversation today, is the website the best way for patriots out there to reach out and learn a little bit more about oxygen therapy? I would say it’s one of the best ones. There’s a lot of websites out there, but they can always reach out to me through that site, and I’m happy to give whatever information they have. It’s my passion to share this. Fantastic. Thank you very much for spending a few minutes to come on the show and discuss this very neat alternative therapeutic topic for the audience out there.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the information as much as I have. You can navigate to 123hbot.com or see the link in the description box below the video to learn more. This is S.G. Anand. I’ll be back with each and every one of you again soon on the Q News Patriot. God bless everybody. Stay safe today. Thanks. Bye-bye. Thank you. [tr:trw].
