Okay. Welcome. This is our Thursday night Bible study. We’re in the book of Ephesians and we’re studying this simultaneous with the book of Acts as an adjunct out of Revelation from chapters three and four. Tonight is going to be another transition night. Tonight you’re going to move from understanding all of the applications in Ephesians 4, 5 and 6 to what you need to understand in moving into the armor of God verses in chapter six. So we’re going to spend tonight in looking at Ephesians 6, verses 10 to 12. And we’re going to, we’re going to look at this from the standpoint of you, the church.

All right? Ephesians 4, 5 and 6 is you as the individual. That’s what Ephesians 4, 5 and six is, the application or the practice of the plans of God in Ephesians 1, 2 and 3 as an individual, moving you into Acts to understand how you collectively work in the body of Christ after salvation. All right, that ought to be a distinction for you right there. Ephesians 1, 2 and 3 is the plan. Ephesians 4, 5 and 6 is the application, the practice of implementing the plan individually. Once you implement the plan called salvation, now you move into Acts and become the church body of Christ.

So we’re going to tr. We’re going to do this little, little session tonight as a transition lesson. And I thought about this long and hard before I decided to set this up. And I wanted to make sure that you understood that from this point forward. In Ephesians, it deals with you putting on armor, using tool sets for your spiritual war. But you can’t have a spiritual war until you become the church. You hear what I’m saying? You have no spiritual war as an individual unless you’ve, unless you’ve gone through the salvation process, which is what Ephesians does.

So the last part of chapter six that Paul writes is, is. Is the tool set application of understanding what you can do individually. But it’s only. Only can be applied individually. When you’ve gone through the salvation process and become the church, you follow himself. It doesn’t exist unless you’ve gone through salvation and become the church. Because it’s in salvation that you become one with the body of Christ, right? And that’s the church. And it’s only when you go through the process of sanctification, being sanctified in Christ, that you obtain the knowledge. We talked about this on Tuesday night that you attain the knowledge as to your process and putting on.

Guys, wait a minute. You’re putting on all of the tools that God has given you to fight your spiritual war, Because you don’t have a spiritual war until you’re safe. You get that you’re living in the world. The world’s not going to bother you. And it’s only when you buck the system that you have a problem. And bucking that system means that you’ve changed systems. And in so doing, you’re now going down this salvation process that we talked about on Tuesday night into the process of sanctification, through sanctification to discipleship, all along being the Church and remember Lucifer, the mystery of the Church is what threw Lucifer off guard.

He has to come after you as the Church, not as an individual. That’s key. You understand that process. He can’t come at you and do anything to you if you’re living in his world before you become the Church, because the key point is salvation. So he’s not going to bother you if you’re not saved. You can go on your fat, happy way, and he’s just going to say, okay, let me just throw this at you, or whatever, this world thing, whatever, because you’re just going to absorb it, apply it to your life, and here you go.

It’s only when you go through that process of salvation, you become the body of Christ, you become the Church, that he’s going to come after you. You follow how this works? So in the book of Ephesians, Ephesians 1, 2 and 3, we’ve understood the plan, we’ve understood the protocol, we’ve understood the process. We know the goals and objectives, 4, 5, and 6. We got the playbook. Now we can apply everything into our lives from a practical application standpoint to get you into the point of what becoming the Church. And it’s Ephesians 6:12 that the tools that Paul lays out is for you, the Church.

And that’s the reason why I felt we needed to go through this little bit of a transition, because I. I want to make sure that we have a complete understanding of what Paul is telling you that you have to do before you begin to apply the tools. So let’s look at this. If you complete everything that you’re told to do In Ephesians 4, 5 and 6, from Ephesians 1, 2, and 3, there’s one thing I can absolute guarantee you’re going to do. You’re going to run right square into the enemy. You have no choice. And he’s going to be standing there as soon as that happens, as soon as God calls you, you know What Satan knows, he’s called you.

That’s not a secret. And as soon as you elect the process of salvation, he’s standing right there looking at you square in the face. And you’re going to come face to face with your enemy right then and there. And that process, every day, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of a year, does not change. That’s your spiritual war. That’s the reason why you need the tools. So what Paul does, he says this, He says, number one, the final thing you need to know is that you have to be strong. That’s not muscle mass.

As far as human body’s concerned. That means you’re spiritually strong. You’re a spiritual being first living in physical life experience. If your spiritual being is not strong, your physical life is going to suffer. So what Paul is telling you here is that you need to know. That is knowledge, guys. That’s knowledge. That’s sanctification. You need to know that you have to be strong, which means you got to study. You have to know the knowledge of God to be strong. You can’t be strong any other way. When you become strong, and I said this the other night in a different way, I’m going to say that again.

You cannot access the armor of God unless you are sanctified. Because sanctification is the knowledge is the process of knowing. It’s the process of wisdom. It’s the process of application. Okay? So you have to know, you have to have knowledge, you have to have wisdom that comes from sanctification. Meaning you have to study and then you have to put on the armor of God. It’s not natural. You think because you’re sanctified in Christ, meaning that you’re studying the word of God and you understand what is there, he’s revealing himself to you, that there’s not another step.

Yes, there is another step. And that is called putting on the armor of God. And the reason why you have to do that is because now you’re in a spiritual war and there’s no going back. Once you’re in, you’re in. Now you can acquiesce to the battle, you can acquiesce to defeat. But if you do that, you receive no. What Blessings that were given to you in Ephesians 1 and 3. You’re on your own. And over time, God’s going to say, it’s enough, enough. And he’s just going to say, you, I’m going to turn you over to your own reprobate.

Mind in Romans. Okay, you see the process here. You must continue the process if you’re going to get to the end goal of this, which is what your eternal life with all the riches and glory of Father’s given his son through his will and testament. A few years ago, when God called me to do this, I had to go through a process of figuring out, number one, what was I being called to do exactly? Because I had many things that I was, I, I individually were putting together. And he says, no, you need to separate it.

And this is what I’m telling you to do. Well, that process required me to wake up and realize that this was not going to be a honeymoon. And it isn’t work. It’s a war. I want you to hear me out. It’s a war. It’s a war for anybody that’s going to stand in front of any one of you at any point in time in your life and tell you the truth. Because they have to go through the war battle to be able to do that. The oppression that you feel when you’re going to stand up and give somebody the truth is a battle is about.

And essentially that’s what Paul is saying here. If we are, as Ephesians 4:1 says, walking worthy of the vocation of which we’re called, remember, that’s the process. If we’re walking in humility and unity, not in vanity of our mind, as the Gentiles did. Now you got to remember the point in time that this was written. This was written to the church of Ephesus that was originally created by the Jews, and the Gentiles came in. So the Gentiles had to learn a different walk, and Jews had to learn a different walk, but because of their history, Gentiles walked outside of God.

Okay, so Paul’s using the analogy here. You walk in humility and unity, God’s calling. Not as the Gentiles walked, because they walked in vanity, because they were outside looking in. Now, if we’re putting on the new man, right, we’re putting on a new creature. We get a new nature upon salvation. The salvation process. If you go through that, you become a new creature. Two Corinthians. If you’re walking in love and not lust, if you’re walking in light and not darkness, if you’re walking in wisdom and not foolishness, if we’re not drunk with wine, but filled with the Holy Spirit, if we’re not singing the world’s songs but, but psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, and if rather than being proud and Individualistic.

We are submitting ourselves one to another. And if we are submitting, as wives should, to husbands as to the Lord, and if husbands are loving their wives as Christ loved the church, and if children are obeying their parents and parents are nurturing and rearing their children to the things of God, and if employees and employers have the right relationship, basically, and with the spiritual impact. You see how this system works. Two systems. Doesn’t matter where you’re at. Everything in your life is built on two systems. We will encounter the evil system because you’ve just gone boldly against the system by which you were born in this world.

Ephesians 2. We’re running against the grain. We should expect persecution. We should expect issues. We should expect adversity. We should expect things in our lives that are not running smoothly. We should expect issues with those around us that basically do not have the same belief system that we have there. That means that they’re not in the system of godliness and righteousness. They have a different mindset. And that’s exactly where we’re at in our society today. That’s exactly where most of you in a family that has not all been converted through the salvation process are going through because you’re trying to implement scripture and they’re not there yet.

You get what I’m saying? Your battles are your battles. Now how you handle your battles is very important for you to be the church. You can’t have two masters. We talked about this on Tuesday night. Spiritual world’s all the same. You got two masters in one spiritual world with a division scripture, a divide called sin. And you can’t have two masters. So this is the point that we’re going to make, that we have begun to take a stand against some things in this world. You can’t be saved and sit on the couch. Can’t do it doesn’t work.

The battle has started. We’ve not ended the war. And the war won’t end until you go home to be with God, however that might be. But the battle has started and you’re going to battle every day. The problem is this. We have always done this, but we have not always known this. Foreign. It’s just that our size, our and our impact size is not statue size is. Is maturity. That the great blessings of God has made all of this something the world cannot ignore anymore. You can always say, oh my gosh, I gotta. You know what? I want all these blessings that’s God given me because he co heirs with his son and he gave him everything to his son, his son get everything to us through this salvation process, this faith based gospel thing and yeah, but I want to go on to and Leon thing.

You cannot ignore this anymore. You have to make a choice. Hear me out. Because if you don’t, the world is going to devour you. And you’re going to sit there and say I wonder what in the world is going on with me. I can’t figure this out. See, becoming the church means that you are going to make waves in the world. You’re going to cause ripples to exist where smooth waters were there before. And it first starts with you. And if you don’t have the knowledge base to understand what is going to happen, then you will not know what armor to put on to combat that battle.

And it’s exciting. It’s exciting. When God become begins to bless you as the church and, and Satan has no other result other than attack you, Then you know you’re over the right target. See now you’re taking hold of the battleground. Now you’re implementing a battle plan that says, oh you know what, this life that you wanted me to live is not going to happen. Now if you think when you started coming to our online body Bible studies and events that we have for the sole reason so that you can settle in your little nest there in the corner somewhere and get real comfy, you are wrong.

I think that not only are we being tested, but maybe we’re being tested in ways we have never been tested before. And because of that all tests seem to be new and we don’t know what in the world is really going on. And because we’re living outside of our comfort zone, this is happening to me. What’s going on? I don’t understand this. Let me pick up the phone and call Billy Root. What do you think? Say. The thing about life is life is only created by you when you seek the knowledge of what life’s all about.

How are you going to co create your life. When you have no basis of understanding the One who gave you life? I’ve always told you you’re not going to know who you are until you know who Christ is. And you’re not going to know who Christ is unless you are becoming sanctified in him. And if you’re not becoming sanctified in him, then you have no tools. Because the tools are only available in Him. The Bible talks about the believer being a soldier in a war. So you’re a soldier and it couldn’t be a better relationship. And Paul said to Timothy, this as soldiers endure hardness and that means suffer with.

And I really feel that because of the fact that God has blessed us, he is requiring much of us, right? Where much is given, much is required. He’s given you all the blessings in heaven. What are you doing? You know, regardless of what you think, our little ministry here, this Bible study, there is a lot of people watching us, Us as a group, us as individuals. And it’s amazing to me to see that happen. Why? Because that tells me that we’re over the target. If we’re being watched, that’s a good thing. I think about the Apostle Paul in this same town of Ephesus.

Where he went and did incredible things. The Bible caused this. The, the, the theologians and of. In scholars of the Bible called Ephesus the model church. Paul did that. He went into that town and he began to preach the word of God in what? The first synagogue. That Paul’s process never changes, the plan never changes. Paul went to the synagogue in every city he went into first. And from the synagogue he went out to the Gentiles and then created a church and grew up disciples from the church in order to minister to the people through the church.

No different than our responsibility today. And some harden their hearts. Well, now let’s get back into Acts and look at this. In Acts, chapter 19, which we’re not quite there yet, but some believe the ones that believed listened to him and he taught. But finally the others were so antagonistic that they ran him out of the synagogue and he went into the school of tyrannous. And for two years he taught every day, probably mainly from probably one o’ clock to five o’ clock in the evening for two solid years. And the Bible says that great things happened, miracles were wrought by the hands of the Apostle Paul.

The people who were involved in incredible kinds of magical worship began to burn their magic books. In other words, what Paul did, you created a riot in the city. Now I want you to think about that. He created a riot in the city that Hitler created. The reverse riot in the city. Follow 100 Law of Duality. That’s what happened in history. Look at what happened in history, Nick. What’s the next thing? History repeats itself. And the guys who sold their little silver gods that were part of the trade found that they weren’t able to do it anymore.

The gods of the government and the economy were taken out and put into hell. They couldn’t do their idol worship anymore. Scripture tells you that second part of the Great Commission, people were really becoming, you know, what somewhat bolden, different, iconoclastic. They were smashing their idols and the city was in an incredible uproar. And it says in Acts 19 so mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. You might not have believed me that the apostles had two objectives. First commission was go spread the gospel. Second commission was go get rid of the God’s goddesses idol worship and move them into hell and put in God’s holy righteous governmental system.

Acts 19 tells you this is happening right now. They had no economy, they couldn’t sell their idols. They smashed them because they were being driven out. And that great Ephesians church was in the middle of Acts 19. We’re not there yet. We’re just learning about getting the church started in Acts chapter 15. But after 15, when we get into 16 through 28, we’re going to get into churches and all the things that they went through, which is exactly the things that you’re going through. And the Ephesian church founded by Paul was later on given direction by Aquila and Priscilla.

Okay, Paul took him in, you’re going to learn that too. He took him in to Antioch and finally then by Timothy and Apollos, knew the best of men and best of circumstances and the greatest of history. And John even came in as well. And what happened as soon as Paul began to do these great mighty works. To really move Satan out, Satan began to attack. No, let’s. I’m gonna stop here a moment. No, I’m not gonna stop right after this. He began to attack in a very subtle ways because that’s always his plan. He always wants to just nib at you.

You know why? It’s just like a little small bite at a time and that bite grows into a bigger bite and soon you consume the st. The steak, right? Just one little bite at a time. But overall you’re going to eat the steak. That’s exactly what he does with you. That is exactly what happens at your point of salvation. That’s reason why it is so critical that as soon as you are saved, you get into the scripture, You get somebody to help you. You want to get in some mentorship you want to do. You want to seek a knowledge base to guide you through the process of sanctification.

Because if you don’t, you’re going to lose the battle before it ever gets. Thank God for some of those highly spiritual minded individuals that are in this family that has the time, their wherewithal and the willingness to be called upon to help. Because that’s what it’s all about. In Ephesians 3:20. Now in him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church. And then Paul goes on with his prayer after the fact. So you got to put all this in perspective.

What he say, what he tells the people of Ephesus is, oh, guys, you need to know the plan. And then, oh, I’m going to pray over this plan. So that God opens you up to, to have your eyes to see and ears to hear the knowledge of the church. He wants your spiritual mind to be completely open to all knowledge that God has given. I believe he wants glory in his church. Now, I’m not talking about the corporate church, I’m talking about you. Because you can’t have glory in the corporate church if it doesn’t happen through you.

And I believe he gains that glory by allowing the church, you, through his power, to do things beyond what we can ever dream. And I think God wants to go way beyond where we are now. Why? Because he says, you’ll do greater works than I. The greater works is only limited by you. And the more and more greater works you’re able to do, oh, you don’t get away with less and less Satan. The more works you do, the more fruit you bear, the more issues you’re going to have. But see, that’s a good thing, some of you saying, oh, I don’t even want to go through that.

Well, I’m going to tell you, my friend, if you want to see the blessings on the other side of that, go through it, go through it, because that’s the only time you’re going to get them. Now I think we’re just beginning to see what God would do when a group of people is totally committed to walk a worthy walk. We’re getting past the baby knowledge, Emphasis of understanding who Christ is to understanding who Christ is in the body of Christ. You see, because who the body of Christ. Christ in you, you are Him. And you can’t know who you are unless you know who he is because it’s in Him.

All things are possible. It’s in Him. All blessings. B. When a group of people come together, which is what we’re doing, we’re doing it in ways that allow us to know the theology and doctrine, the belief system, in order that we can build a collective whole. When a group of people are totally committed to live the kind of Life that Ephesians 4, 5 and 6 calls for, then, then you have power. As soon as that begins, not one second after it begins, Satan’s there to oppose it. And I must say, you are blind and foolish if you do not see those things around you.

You can go back into the Old Testament and you can see God sending an angel in Daniel chapter 10. And a demon withholds that angel so that that angel cannot accomplish the divine purpose. Matter of fact, for 21 days he couldn’t. And what, what God had to, to dispatch a greater angel in order to, to have a stronger angel to go blast that demon out and send that angel on his way. Mentorship program. You see, angels learn from us that scripture. By the way, what are they learning from here? You’ll find in June 9, Michael the Archangel having a battle with Satan over the body of Moses.

A dead body. Oh, but back then it was different. Back then it was different, right? They didn’t have a spirit sealed life. Okay, another study for another day. But they were fighting over a dead corpse of Moses. Satan trying to restrain Michael from claiming the body of Moses, forgot. The spirit, went to a place called hell. Bosom of Abraham separated from the actual hell. And in the middle of that crossing, there was a battle. Now in your situation in mind, we’re still with the spirit. There can’t be any battle. When we die, we’re going one place or, or, or another.

And we’re determined that in this life we get to determine that. Well, because they weren’t, they weren’t sealed by the spirit. They had a battle on where this body, this spiritual body was going to go. It’s a war. So we’re in this high level spiritual struggle and there is no way out. None. You can’t pray yourself out of it. You can’t read scripture, get yourself out of it if you chose. But you really didn’t have much choice in a calling, right? And predestined. God knew this before the foundation world where you were going. Okay, it’s just a matter of when.

If you understand all of that, you have no choice but to fight this battle. Because scripture says if you don’t fight the battle, that’s your battle. That’s not God’s battle. He brings the tools for you to fight the battle, but it’s your struggle. And if you are not willing to fight that battle, then you’re moving towards what Romans calls a reprobate mind. Not a re. What renewed mind. The battles for your mind. So Ephesians 6:12 says this, which starts this process of armoring up with the tools. And it says what your battle is, we wrestle not with flesh and blood means we don’t fight physically.

That’s not the battle. But against principalities and powers. Oh, now we’re getting into hierarchy in the spiritual realm against rulers of the darkness of this world. That means your battle is against evil and against a hierarchical government of the evil. Spiritual realm. I get spiritual wickedness. Well, that shouldn’t have any reason to not be self explanatory. And the heavenlies that might need some self explanatory, why? Because we deal with the same spiritual world. It’s a matter what master you’re attuned to. Both of them are in the heavenlies that shock you. Spiritual realm. Spiritual realm. It’s two divisions, two masters.

You get your choice. So we’re engaged in this tremendous conflict. And scripture calls this a war. Now, let’s step back a moment. We’ve been tight in a lot of religious areas of this concept of unconditional love and the fact that we should. If we focus on the unconditional love aspect, then we’re following what we need to do in order to have eternal, eternal life. That is as far as wrong as the east is from the West. You’re in a war. You’re in a war. Not a war of unconditional love, a war of battle for what? Your soul.

On one side, God has given his son unconditionally to you, unconditional love to you in order to pay the price to allow you to get out of this battle. On the other hand, you got the one to rebel against God that wants to hold you down. Now, for those of you who’ve ever been held down on a mat or on the floor in a wrestling with your, with your spouse or with your, you know, brother, sister, whatever. It is not a fun time if you can’t get out. You get frustrated and then you get mad. Okay, that’s war.

That’s the sense of what you’re going through today. You’re being held down and you want to get out. And your only ticket out is the unconditional love God gave for you by his son on the cross that died, went to hell to get the keys, was buried for three days so you could be buried alongside of him, then rose to give you the resurrection of life called salvation. I think American Christianity has become very smug and very content and almost subcultural. Rather than confronting, We’re just kind of waiting around with a system trying to accommodate it.

You’re not willing to get engaged. You’re just willing to go along to get along. We think we can win by becoming what they are. We don’t want the confrontation, we want our issues to go away. I want to wake up in the morning feeling happy, glorious, and I want to walk out the door and not worry about the dog that’s going to come up and pee on my leg before I get to the car. That is not the spiritual world that you live in. Because the opposite is true. We have to counter the system. Your job every morning is to not to conform, but to confront.

Your job every morning is not to say, what am I supposed to look like today? But what am I to be like today? Your job is not to figure out the person that you’re not going to talk to today. Your job is to be like the love of Christ, loving everybody. Do you come in contact with. You need to be completely aware of the fact that in this life that we now live, call Christianity, Satan is going to attack. And he’s going to attack at every inopportune moment that we think exists. Tell you it’s, it’s more in about, I don’t know what time, 3, 30, 4 o’, clock, whatever.

I felt something coming up from below, grabbing my leg and I was kicking it. And who I was kicking was, was Misty. And Misty started taking her feet and kicking me back, saying, you’re kicking me, waking me up. You know, stop it. I’m saying, what? We’re in a battle 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Your mind doesn’t stop working. Do you understand what I’m saying? It tells you in the Bible that in your sleep you’re going to get arrest. In your sleep. If you’re not of the right mindset in controlling your subconscious, the demonic world takes over your subconscious mind.

This is a war of constant, constantness of your life. James in chapter four says this. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Well, that’s unique of itself. Resist the devil. How do you do that? You resist the devil in your thoughts. You resist, resist the devil in making sure that your fruits are according to what it are they’re supposed to be. You resist the devil by being obedient to God. That’s the number one element. You’re obedient to God. The devil can’t do anything about it. All he can do is try to take hold. And all you need to do is just say, flee from me.

It’s when you open the doors of all of these other things that now you have to really go to battle first. Peter, chapter 5, verses 8. 9 Peter says, Be sober, be vigilant. Why? Because your adversary, the devil, is like a roaring lion walking around about seeking whom he may devour one bite at a time. Whom? Resist steadfast in faith, knowing the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. Let’s break that down. Whom resists? That’s you in faith, that’s not you. The only way you get faith is if God gives it to you.

You see? So you can’t resist and be steadfast without God’s faith inside of. And because of that faith you now know knowledge, wisdom, sanctification. You now know the same afflictions, the suffering, the issues that you go through are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. In other words, Satan is going to be there. Resist him, be sober, be aware, be alert, and know what he’s doing. How are you going to know what he’s doing if you don’t know who Christ is? Because you don’t have the ability to distinguish the two. In 2nd Corinthians 2:11 it says this.

We should not be ignorant. They didn’t say stupid. Ignorant is lack of knowledge. Right? We should not be ignorant. Lack of knowledge. It means you’re not studying, you’re not being sanctified. You just said I’m doing it on my own and I don’t care about anything else of his devices lest he gain an advantage of us. The Scripture says in real be aware of the width, the depth and the breadth of the deception of Satan. How are you going to know that? How do you know that? Do you study it? When you study one, you stay both.

Whatever Christ tells you, he’s given to you, whatever he’s, he’s declared upon you, whatever he’s revealing for you, 180 degrees opposite of that is Satan. If you understand God’s width, width, depth, breadth, height, whatever, then you understand Satan’s because it’s 180 degrees difference. Now you might not understand that. Whatever goodness is coming to you, whatever righteousness is in your life, whatever faith that you have in hope and glorification of God the Son, and you have 180 degree complete opposite of that going on in your life. At the same time, It’s a matter of your master. So in Acts chapter 20 went back to the church, Paul was talking to those same leaders in the Ephesians church, same Ephesians church that we’re dealing with in Ephesians, the book of Ephesians, that same church he’s now dealing with in Acts chapter 20.

And he said to them, this I know that after my departing, grievous woes shall enter in. What he’s saying is, if. When I remove the power, when I remove the power that Christ has given me for the church in Ephesus, Satan’s coming in. And not sparing this flock. And of your own selves shall men arise, teaching perverse things, meanings. If. If I. If Paul. This is Paul, the church of Ephesians. If I remove this power of the Holy Spirit that. That God has given me to bring to you from the church, Satan’s going to come in.

And the men are not of the maturity to ward off the issues associated with the persecution that’s going to happen. And they are going to teach you what perverse things. What happened to the next church? Who’s the next church in the cycle? What happened? Go to Revelation. You’ll find it. Just go read the next church. He says, I know as well as I know my name. I know as well as I know the sun comes up tomorrow. You’re going to get it as soon as I leave. From outside and inside rules from outside and false teachers from the inside.

Now, if that went on in the church in Ephesians, what do you think’s going on in your life today? Going through seven empires. Every empire is worse from the previous one going into a battle, but that we know that all of the demonic spirits were removed and they’ve come back sevenfold. What do you think’s going on in your life? And if you don’t stick into the power that’s given through you from the knowledge, from the wisdom being sanctified into discipleship, where the Holy Spirit’s taking charge of you, what in the world is going to happen to you? And you’re still trying to struggle with your belief system.

You want to conform, to get along. You want to try to figure out what that equilibrium is. You can have both feet, one in the spiritual realm of you and the other one in the physical realm of this world. You can’t serve two masters. Why am I telling you this? Because you can’t access the armor of God unless you are under the right master. You have no vehicle to fight the war. And here’s this word. Therefore, in verse 31 of Acts 20, I have not ceased to warn you night and day for the space of three years with tears.

He says part of the ministry is a warning. Ministry watchman. I am telling you exactly what is going on in your life today. And I’m telling you, I’m warning you that it’s going to only to be through sanctification. You going to get access to tools to get this war on your side. Now I don’t know whether you hear me or not. Just like Paul was telling the church of Ephesus, guys, I’m telling you, you have to be knowledgeable. You now, you now understand you’re going to be held to a higher accountability. And you need to know and expect what’s going to happen.

See, when God has blessed us, he has. In the process multiplied law of physics, multiplied his audience as he has and God is using us to cut a path through the evil world. Then okay, remember it’s law of numbers prayer. Put one person in prayer, you got one what? One person praying. If you put two people to pray in the same thing, you now got three. If you put a hundred people to praying on the same thing, you now got a thousand. If you put a thousand people together praying the same thing, you got a million.

Do you see the power that God has given you to ward off the evilness of the world around you by getting like minded people together and not associate with the world? Do you see the reason why that is even there? Don’t associate with the world, guys, because when you do, your mind is distracted. You’re not thinking on the things above. Your prayer life stinks. Why? Because you’re supposed to be praying to God 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 constantly. And by doing so you bring like minded people together. And the power of prayer is astronomically more powerful with the whole church and not just one.

Part of your armor of God is prayer. You’ve just now learned the law of power. Why are prayer groups, why are prayer warriors so blessed mainly in the afterlife? Because they’re doing it behind the scenes. Why are they so blessed? Because the power they bring together in order to accomplish the ability of the church. Is tremendous. How does Satan attack us? Number one, we need to understand his ploy. We got to understand the way he attacks. The plan is a plan is a plan. He never attacks any differently. Okay? He lays his whole plan out to you in scripture, all right? There’s no difference.

Every, every time he attacks, he attacks using one of several ways. But it’s the same whichever way he chooses. And his ploy is always the same too. And we go back to the garden to see the ploy. All right, Just go back and see what he told Eve. Oh God didn’t meant this. This is okay. You can Be just like God with the knowledge. Don’t you want it? And he wraps it up in a bowl that creates around you the lust of wanting it. You actually bring it to you. Do you understand that? He can’t come into you and do anything unless you open that door.

But he can entice you in such a way that your lust opens the door. And that’s all he’s after. He’s after your lust of what he is offering to you. If you don’t know what he’s offering because you don’t know who it is that’s doing the offering, how in the world are you going to protect yourself? Scripture says do not be ignorant of his devices. So how does he attack us? Well we get that in Revelation chapter one. And we can talk all about demon possession and the ability of deliverance ministry. And some of you, I’ve had conversations with this in recent times and it’s something that’s laid on my heart that I need to get through.

But you’ll always know demonic presence. When whomever is speaking to you. Is unlike them. Demons have to possess a body and they use the physical makeup of the body to work through the body mechanism, but they take over the body in all forms. And that’s reason why in deliverance ministry when you actually get to the point of removing the demons from the person, they must, they must remove the toxins from their system. And it could be yellow, it could be green, it could be black, but one way or the other, that demonic toxin that’s inside of them is going to come out.

And it’s going to come out in whatever orifice that he wants to come out of. It could be their nose, it could be their vomiting, it could be the ears, it could be whatever other body part you want to, to deal with, but it’s going to come out. And I’ve talked to you a couple of times about two stories of mine where demonic presence was present and what happened in certain conditions. But I’m going to tell you, you got the demonic of, of, of the spirit of homosexuality in a male and you release that is there rear end is going to flush out the toxins.

I get very, very crude here, but the world is going to show you what you’re dealing with. If you, if you have eyes to see and ears to hear, if you do not understand the devices and the ploy and the method of attack and all of the stuff that the evil spirit can use on you, you’ll never be able to ward it off. Now that’s I’m not saying that you’ll get demonically possessed, but over time it is going to nip at you and nip at you and nip at you. And remember, you can be saved and still be demonic possessed.

And it’s up to you to keep all three areas pure. The other thing I can say is this. Some of you have been in deliverance ministry before and some of you have been with individuals who are a lack, for lack of better word, a pro at deliverance ministry. And in fact, when they walk into the room when a demon possessed individuals there, the demons know them. Why? Because it’s the spirit of Christ inside of them that makes known who it is that’s in control. One of the things, Transparency, one of the things that I’m seeing more and more coming to me is this net, is this realm.

I said last night, you know, I, I mean I see this realm for whatever reason, God is moving this direction. And a lot of people don’t even get into deliverance ministry. And I don’t even know where it’s going to go. All I know is this, God is making known a presence here. And some of the people, they’re looking on this group, they know what the truth that we’re talking about is and they know what God’s doing here. And they were, they’re going to do, they’re going to try anything at all to stop it. I had an individual contact me last week and says, you know what, Jim? I just, I got up this morning and I was told to pray for you like nobody they ever prayed for anybody before.

And in the middle of that prayer, I, I got something that showed me that you were covered. And then the second part is, beware, you’re fix to be attacked. Why would I be a chance? These guys, I’m over the target. I’m telling the truth. They don’t want the truth out. And they will stop it or try to stop it through you. Because a church is a collection of links, like a chain. I’m connected to you and you’re connected to me. And Satan knows that were is only as strong as the link is the, the weakest link in the chain.

So he’s going to attack. And in the letters to the churches in Revelations 2 and 3, the Lord shows us how he does that. He didn’t, you know, all he talked about was the condition of the mindset of the people in the church and what actions that they were doing. And all the letters, that’s all he did. See. I believe the letters to the churches, the seven churches in Revelation. Oh, by the way, there were seven letters that Paul wrote in addition to those seven letters. Those seven letters were written by Christ through John to the churches.

Paul wrote seven letters too. The seven churches in Asia Minor, the first, which was Ephesus, and then the others that were literally born out of the church of Ephesus. There were only six in Asia. Mine. And I believe the Lord gives us insight into how Satan attacks the church. And at least once every year or so, I feel a need to study this. Been doing it all my life. Why? Because in the study of those seven letters, I find something new every time I study it. So let set the scene by looking at Revelations chapter one and verse nine.

If you recall, John blurred apostle is on the isle of Patmos, and he was in exile for his faith by a Roman emperor. And here it is that God gives him marvelous visions. And in these visions, he sees what God wants to reveal about the Church. Who’s the church? Who’s he talking about? He’s not talking about the corporate church. He’s talking about the people. You. This is you in these letters. Now, you’ll notice in verse 10, John says, I was in the Spirit. So he was seeing us. He was seeing the history of the Church. He was seeing the church ages through history in spiritual form.

One your spiritual beings first physically been living a physical life experience. So everything John was seeing was in the Spirit, which is where things live. And by that, and because of that, he was in the position. To receive revelation from Christ himself in the Spirit. On the Lord’s day, that would be on a Sunday, I heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and last. And what thou seest, write it in a book and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia, Asia Minor, unto Ephesus, Sperna, Pergamon, Thar, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.

Now, the Lord has a word for these seven churches. Most interesting, which we’ve already learned, there are seven historical, actual, real churches that these letters went to. These are not fake churches. These are not metaphor churches, allegory churches. These are real groups of people called these names, doing these things that are in these seven letters at different times throughout the 2,000 years of the age of the Church. See, we’re in the. We’re in the age of Laodicea. We’re in the last age of the church. And they are also prototypes of churches that exist in all periods of church history because each of them has a unique characteristic to which the Lord speaks up.

And there are churches in every age, including today, that could be classified as an Ephesians church or a Smyrna church, or a Pergamum church, or a thy tire church, Roman Catholic church, or Sardis, Philadelphia, Orlando city churches. You can identify churches today to fit one of these categories. Religion. Another pilling of the onion. Our religion is based upon one of these seven churches. Today, all religions are based upon one of these seven churches. Did you hear what I say? All religions are based upon one of these seven churches. Islam. Is here. Roman Catholic church is here.

Mormonism is here. Lutheran is here. Baptist is here. Methodist is here. All of church religion today is based upon one of these seven churches. Oh, go look at the doctrine of your church, your corporate church. Look at, at the words used in revelation of these churches. You’re going to find where your church is. So they’re not just historical churches though, that they are. Okay, they were there in time, but they present to us today a prototype of periods of history, of the development of the church from the point of Ephesus to Laodicea in time. And they give you a picture of exactly your associated religion in the church today of one of these churches.

Now notice the scene in verse 12. I turned to see the voice that spoke to me. And being turned, I saw seven golden lampstands. What are these seven golden lampstands? Verse 20 tells you at the end, the seven lampstands are the seven churches. So here’s John’s vision. He sees a lampstand, a church, a religion, a period of history, sees a lampstand that gives him all of the insight spiritually around that philosophy, that, that at those actions of the people of the that church throughout history, he sees this. Okay, so he sees a lampstand, which is a symbol symbolic of each of the churches.

And the lamp is blazing, it’s lit, and the church is to be the light of the world. That’s what you’re told, right? Today the church is supposed to be the light of the world. It is be the place that lights up the darkness. And so there are the seven churches of Asia Minor, each represented by a lampstand. Now, I want to, I want to say this again. Each lampstand represented a particular church in a particular period of history that was not all existent at the same time. And a religion in the future that would represent one of those seven churches over a span of some 2500 to 3000 years.

That’s what he saw. Now, in the midst of the seven last stand. There was one like the Son of Man. Son of man is critical. That identifies that. That’s Christ, okay? And he’s moving in his church. He’s moving through his church. In other words, what he was doing. His spirit was going around the lampstands, okay? Like a whirlwind going around. You know, when going around a tree and the. And the leaves blow. This spirit was moving around these lampstands. And. And he’s clothed with the garment down to the foot. By the way, garments like that were worn by priests, prophets and kings.

And so the consummation of all of those elements is Christ. So he was guarded about in his middle with a golden girdle. Guys, pay attention. Armors of God are fixing, are fixing to be revealed to you. He was girded around the middle with a golden girdle. His head and his hair were like wool, as white as snow. Speaking of his. His holiness and his purity. And his eyes were like the flame of fire, searching and penetrator. So the picture that John sees is this. Here’s the Lord. He sees him in. In his kingly, priestly, prophetic garb.

And we see him with white. So that he symbolizes purity. And in his eyes, searching, penetrating, as he evaluates the church. His feet are like bronze, and they are burnt as if they were burned in the furnace. A dark color. Why? Because he has to judge his church. Sometimes Peter even said this judgment must begin. Where? At the house of God. What’s the house of God? The church. You hear what I’m saying? Your judgment, your ability to get access to armor begins with what year? And we also see that his voice is like the sound of many waters, a great, commanding, authoritative voice.

He had in his right hand seven stars. What are they? Verse 20 tells you the seven stars in the middle of his voice are the angels of. Are the ministers of the seven churches. Every church had a minister. Every religion had a minister. And every minister has a holy angel and a evil angel. So in God’s hands, he had seven stars. Okay? Scripture’s not specific enough to tell. Tell us whether or not they represent the ministers or the seven angels over those ministers. But they represented the power. You follow what I’m saying? They represented the power.

And so in his hand are the ministers, the angels. And he moves among the churches, evaluating, searching, penetrating, examining the churches, getting ready to write the letters. His evaluation. Chapter one. The result is in chapter two and three. And so it begins. John does with the letters and starts the letters in chapter two. Now, what does the word say to these churches? Beloved, let me tell you, these are seven absolutely incredible letters. We’ve, we went through this in our initial study of Revelation to set this all up. Five of them are warnings. To the churches. There is no warning to the Church of Smyrna in Philadelphia.

Apparently there needed to be no warning at all. The church at Smyrna was the persecuted church. The church of Philadelphia was the evangelizing, aggressive, soul winning church. And it seems to me like the those two things are wonderful preservatives of the church. See, because scripture says be thankful for persecution. Why? Because in persecution you grow. If you’re not being persecuted, you’re not growing. What did I say earlier? Your battle is 24, 7, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When a church is persecuted, it tends to maintain its purity. Growth is purity, knowledge, wisdom, armor, gun.

What you think because all of the impurity drops out, You’re not about to identify with an outfit where you’re going to get persecuted unless you’re pretty serious. That seriousness is your salvation. So persecution has a way of purifying and so does evangelism. Because as long as your heart is toward the world and as long as you’re aggressive, reaching the lust, you tend to be going outward rather than ingrown. And the Philadelphia church, the church with the open door allowing people to come in to accept Christ, was a blessed church. And Smyrna Church, the church that was being re.

Rained on by the fires of the opposition persecuted church, was a blessed church. But the other five were given deep warnings. And here’s something else about this. Every warning was progressive. It showed you where you were going to go if you didn’t heed the warning. So the first church in the warning. Okay, was pergamite. No, I’m sorry, was, was Ephesus. The first warning was Ephesus. And in the warning to Ephesus it said if you did not repent, the next warning being heard of us was where you’re going to go. That’s what happened. So as you look at these churches and the letters of the churches, you see the progression of the stronghold that Satan can have in you.

The church. If you, the church, do not repent. You follow? I’m saying, Why is that important? The scripture starts at a very, very light kind of situation. The church of Ephesus. And they become so oppressive as to finally become apostate and a church which is utterly no church at all. Today’s church, There’s a descending thing that we’ve seen happen in church history. So what do we need to be warned about? Well, let’s look and see the first. First of all, the thing that hit the church of Ephesus, they left their first love. What was the first love? Jesus Christ.

Well, that seems to be beginning of everything. We just said that you cannot fight the armor with the armor of God. You don’t get access unless you’re sanctified in him that is your first love. If it is your first love, you must want the knowledge and wisdom of that love in order to obtain his blessings that assure you the ability to fight the war. They left their first love. Notice verse one unto the angel of the church of Ephesus. Right? This thing said he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, Jesus Christ, who walks in midst of the seven golden lampstands the churches.

Now he’s writing this to Ephesus. There’s seven. What is he saying? Guys, what is ever happening in the first church is going to happen in the second church. Whatever’s happening in the second church is going to happen in the third. Whatever this third is going to happen in the fourth, fourth, the fifth, fifth, the sixth, sixth, the seventh. And it gets progressively worse. No different than the conquering empires identified in the book of Daniel. Daniel gave you the prophecies of empires. John gave you the. I love this. This is. This is the aha. Moment I had two weeks ago.

John. John gives you the condition of the church that ends at the feet of David’s vision. This is the same thing that is happening today. And it’s the same thing that can happen in you see, you could start off so good, so much fire and vinegar. You start out like the Ephesians church did and the descent comes and pretty soon you got nothing left. The descriptions of the church, remember, the church is you. The descriptions of those letters, seven letters of the church is your life is you. So what do we need to be warned about? Well, Ephesus was the first love.

And he says in verse two to them, I know thy works and man. It was a fabulous story in Ephesus. It was an incredible history there. They had lurie thrown a city into confusion and chaos. They had overturned the system of religion, paganism. And that little group of believers started out in the midst as if they were an island of purity in a sea of wretchedness and had been able to so infiltrate what, put on wolf skins and put on sheepskins. And wolves being sheep and sheepskins, remember this. Infiltrate Both sides infiltrate. Okay, there’s scripture that says both sides infiltrate.

You get what I’m saying? You have wolves in sheep’s clothing and you have sheeps in wolf’s clothing to infiltrate both sides. Why? Because you need to know what is going on. That’s your knowledge base. You need to understand the depravity the the process, deploy the devices. You got Satan in sheep’s clothing infiltrating you the church and you got church who are disciples who are sheep with wolves clothing infiltrating the other side to understand what’s going on. Is that not war? So this little group believers start out in the midst of and they were an island of purity.

And they infiltrated and purified parts of the city that they brought to the halt some of the most complex evil system of religion at that time. What are you doing? What are you doing? That little group of people had a such an incredible beginning. And who could think of a better one to begin it than Paul your apostle. And then the other leaders that Paul brought into that wonderful pastors Apollos. Look at verse six. This thou hast that thou hatest the deeds of the nickelodeons which I also hate. And the nickelodeons apparently were resulting from an individual named Nicholas.

We already talked about this. He was part of the Roman Empire. He was part of the Pope’s system that went out and did C section on women to take babies for what? The destruction of baby sacrifices. He’s giving you history here. What’s going on with Planned Parenthood today, Guys? Where are your votes on that? See your history is this history. Nicholas was a man who espoused sexual immorality. Someone said of Nicholas, he abandoned himself to pleasure like a goat. Well, he was the priest that actually went out and got women pregnant so he could take the babies at the right time of the year for sacrifice.

It was. It is so corrupt system of the Roman Catholic Church. You don’t even believe. And it’s not today’s world, it’s yesterday’s history. From the scriptures, whatever this thing was. And we’re, you know, we’re not going to get into all of seems to have come from that the process of Nicholas, the Roman Catholic Church, sexual immorality in the church, sacrifice to Molech. This process that we’re talking about in what the return of the gods in today’s world. Planned Parenthood abortion and child sacrificing directly to Satan himself. See, we know that today to be litious, lewd, immoral, evil, fornicating type of behavior.

And. And what Christ says is you hate that you have the works going. You’re laboring, you’re patient. You don’t tolerate sin. I want you to think about that. Think about your self assessment. You don’t tolerate sin. You even try them who say they are apostles and not in other words, you do your test and verification. You deal with some false teachers. You have a biblical standard base of knowledge. You’ve got a statement of faith, you’ve got a theology, a belief system, and you measure everybody by it. So you’ve got a good foundation. So you’re doctrinally solid.

You’re dealing with sin and you’re working hard at it. You can say, boy, that sounds like a great person, right? A great church. You have home, you’re born, you’re together, you have some form of unity. You’re in. You’ve endured things in the past and you’ve come out all right, and you have patience and. And for my name’s sake, you have labored. That’s the greatest motive for anything a Christian does, really. So what was wrong with Church of Ephesus? It starts here, guys. It starts here. You can say, well, you know what? I got the great motive.

You’re serving my glory, my name. You labored and you didn’t faint. What they lacked. Was the desire, That burning flame of fire. That Christ had when he what? When he used it in evaluating the churches, the seven churches in Revelation 1, where it was penetrating, it was searching. What they did were doing all the right rituals without the love of the one that gave them the faith to begin with, they lost the first love. That’s where it starts. Self evaluation. You, spiritual being first, living a physical life experience, need to evaluate what your love for Christ.

Where is that? Look, if you loved him so much, what ought you be doing? And if you’re not doing what you should be doing, what have you just done? You’ve opened up the door to the next level. Now, I’m not going to go through all the churches. We’re running out of time. I just want to lay the framework here, because what I need you to understand is this. That armor of God is there for the obedient follower of Jesus Christ. You don’t access it without it because he’s the only one that can provide it. And if you’re not obedient, he’s not going to give it to you.

You must. This is not a positional point of view. You must. You’re commanded to be sanctified in Jesus Christ. Do you know what that means? That means knowledgeable of who he is understanding the wisdom of what he’s teaching you and allow him to reveal himself to you so that what his spirit can teach you. If you’re not there, are headed in that direction. You don’t have access to the armor of God. You’re on your own because you’re disobedient. And remember, disobedience in one thing is disobedience in all. It doesn’t matter what you might want to psychologically work through in your mind that it’s okay to do these and not those.

That’s not how it works, guys. The process is the process is the process. Obedience is obedience is obedience. There is no fence lying on that. What you’re going to find in Revelation, we get back to Revelation. You’re going to find that you will follow the letters of the seven churches in your life from Ephesus to Laodicea if you don’t stop, repent, get sanctified through discipleship. In order to glorify his Son. So we set the stage where we set the stage for getting into the tool set. And you know that the ability to access those tool sets is you.

It’s only you. Your decision, your choice. You can have all the power given in Christ, your joint heirs with Christ. You can have all the power, all the. We’re going to get into that. How much power is power? You can’t even imagine the power that you have. When you have access to these tools. There is no difference between an apostle like Paul in you. There is no difference, tongue in cheek of Christ and you other than what he lived your life sinless. He gave you the tools to do it. You were the one that disobeyed. You’re the one that came into sa Lucifer’s economy.

And if you want to go home and you want to access everything that you left, you have to do something. You’re only entitled to salvation. You get what I’m saying? You’re only entitled to salvation because in salvation all things happen. God gives you the faith, he gives you the blessings. He gives you everything. In that process of salvation. You block it. With that, I’m gonna call an end. I think you got enough to understand. Who are you on your self assessment are in this process? As we move into this next week and we begin to identify the tools, we said, boy, those would be great to have.

Well, evaluate yourself because you can ask all you want. If you’re not living the life in accordance to receiving the tools, you’re not going to get them. Questions? Comments? Yeah, David, Jim, you Were speaking earlier on about you having a terrible dream last night. Exactly the same thing happened to me, but I kept dreaming of evil things from my past. And I’d wake up and I would. I would just say, get thee behind me, Satan. Jesus Christ lives in me and I worship our Father. Get thee behind me. And I’d go back to sleep. He’d wake me up again.

It happened four times last night. And after the fourth time, I had a very peaceful sleep, but. Oh, he sure tried it on. Well. And you know what? At the, at when I. I didn’t wake up to do it, all right, I was. I felt like I was oppressed and I. That I. Because I was under attack in various ways. I just said my feet. Okay, I was under attack in a lot of different ways. And. But the only way, I mean, the only way that I know to come out is either throw my fist or kick my feet.

And I can tell you that when Misty woke me up, that’s exactly what I did it, David. Exactly what I did. What you did. I just says, God, whatever this is, get it out of here. I. They have no place here. You know that. All the same stuff. And, and I got back to sleep and I didn’t sleep till noon, but close to it, so it was a very good sleep. So, yeah, we’re dealing with. We’re dealing with a lot. And what I’m finding. What I mean, some of, Some of you have talked to me about this.

I mean, this. We. We said. Norma Jean said this Tuesday night. She says it’s like going to school. You know, it goes to kindergarten, to elementary, to great. To grade school or whatever you call it, to junior high or middle school, whatever you call it, to a senior high or high school, whatever you call it, to, you know, a college degree of some sort into a full scale degree, into a master doctorate degree. The level of learning that Christ puts you through is just like that. And along the way, you’re going to get to wherever he wants you to get.

You’re not. Not everybody achieves the Golden Nugget. At the end of the day, there’s only two people in the Bible that did that. That was Enoch and Elijah. All right? So it becomes very difficult understanding that we’re not going to get there. The Golden Nugget is not going to be there for everybody. But you’re going to get somewhere on that realm. As long as you’re pursuing knowledge, you’re going to get somewhere on that realm. Well, that realm also takes you through various callings and in those callings, you need to walk through those. Number one, to be obedient, but number two to get to the next round.

And. And I’m moving grades. Let’s just say that I’m moving up a grade and. It’s sometimes treacherous and sometimes very exhilarating as to how this works. I’m learning just like you guys. I, I love it. I love it. I love learning just like you guys. I get a two by four big time. Two by four. What taken to you? Yeah. Yeah. Because I got a lot of pride, guys. Had a lot of pride. That’s what kept me alive for years. That’s what gave me my drive. That’s what gave me knowledge of how to live a life and to tear down.

That is. The onion goes deep. I thought I was pulling the onion down very a long way and I’m at the about the core. I’m not. I’m back out on the surface again. It’s coming down again. So I guess, I guess the analogy of going into Griffith Gray gives you a different onion. You got to pill it out, pull it out again. So it’s, it’s. Anyway, thanks for your prayers though. I feel them. Appreciate it guys. What else? Anything else? You sure? Kind of a sensitive one for me. Jim is family situation, brother in law, man of God, always devoted himself to, you know, children ministry.

My sister is an amazing woman of God. This man has not been going to church recently and, and just he just looks worn out, tired, etc. And he’s very on edge. It really struck me when you said if we’re not being attacked. So as I’ve been speaking truth over the last several years in their lives. He filleted me like a fish not too long ago because he was unhappy with the relationship with my sister and I that she respects me too much. It took me several days to realize what had happened there. I was shell shocked, probably more so that my sister said nothing to call him off.

But I also shell shocked at myself that I didn’t say anything in the moment. You know, like David said, he called out Satan right then and there and said get behind me. And I know that’s what I should have done, done. And I’m not shying away from him because I refuse to let that come between my sister and I. But I, I just pray before I go into the situation as I had to last weekend. And he had a couple of side comments that I just ignored. I just wonder if you have any advice around. Yes, prayer, but a type of prayer or I mean, you know, he’s my sister’s husband.

I mean, it just feels very sensitive. Is there something in this realm that I could be doing that I’m not, I guess, is my question. I need to be careful about direction on. On this type of a prayer for this particular situation by. But I will tell you that the base of his issue is fear. Something, something that caused him to be in this position is based upon fear. Let’s go back to. Let’s go back to the conversation that we had on Tuesday in dealing with Joe. What we said was, you can, you can be good or you can go.

You can go backwards. If you’re not moving forward, you’re going backwards. Right? Okay. And that happens in everybody’s life. So either you’re moving forwards or you’re moving backwards. You got steady, all right? There is no steady Susan here. You’re going one way or the other. But scripture is very sound in the going backwards, all right? Because something occurred in moving forwards that you question. You question whether that be self strength, whether that be, you know, God doesn’t burn you out. You hear what I’m saying? God does not burn you out. God. God wants you to work till you die.

That’s scripture. So God does not burn you out. So something has occurred in a manner of questioning his ministry, his relationship with God, whatever. And that something was based upon fear, typically the fear of loss. All right, If I continue this way, this is what I think is going to happen to me. I am going to lose my health. I’m going to lose my mind. I’m going, you know, I need a break. Follow. I’m saying, hearing what I’m saying. Yeah, it totally makes sense because he did. He pulled away from the, the church, the men’s group, and he, you know, he’s.

He’s just been working double shifts and he hasn’t been. He hasn’t been doing his ministries that he loves. Well, okay. And that’s the other thing that gets me is because in that something, a fair base something. Yeah. He’s thrown himself like Job did. This is a classic joke picture to me through throws himself into his. His world and not that of the Holy Spirit’s world. So, so prayer, I would say. I would say reveal to him the fear that which is overcome him. All right? And that person, you pray for him to have God reveal the fear that you see has overcome him in an in accessory manner.

Okay. And. And then ask in your prayer that God reveal himself to you that, that you may say the things that God wants you to say in order to support his. His revelation of. Of getting back to Christ. Okay. You can do it in your own words, but that’s the same thing that happened to Joe. Okay, Exactly. Even in the sickness, because he’s really struggling with his health right now too. Yeah, Yeah. Y. Really so very good word. Thank you, Jim. Thank you. I want to ask my sister, Billy Ruth, do you see anything that I missed in that? No.

I would pray because that is your sister and her allegiance is to her husband and it is not going to change. I would pray for him and I would ask the Lord as just as Jim said about your words, I would. This is just me. I would ask God to guard my mouth, that I would not say anything that was not ordained of the Lord. And because in this situation, it’s very personal. That is your sister. So naturally you see something wrong there, so you want to. It’s only natural for you to want to jump in and try to help and fix.

Very protective of her. Yes, I am. Yes. There’s one other thing. There’s one other thing I want to add to this. You need to ask for patience for you. Get you out of the way. Get you out of the way. Make sure that you seek the patience necessary in order to achieve the end result. And the second thing I would say is you need to ask God to give your sister peace. Okay? Because she doesn’t need to feel any anxiety over this. It’s not hers to deal with with. Right. She can’t control it. So. And. And you don’t need to.

You don’t. You. You. You should do this in a manner by which you don’t say a word to your sister. You do this through your actions led by Jesus Christ. She’ll see it. She’ll see it. Okay? And if she ask you what are you praying for, tell her the truth. But you don’t need to. To press upon her what you’re doing. You need. You need. You need to ask Christ to give your sister peace in this and understanding that the conditions between your relationship does not one, interfere with God’s work. And number two, come between that union because if she’s of the spirit, she’s going to choose him over you.

So you need to make sure that. That you see that peace and that understanding and ask God to give it to her. And you need to have patience so that you don’t go overpowering into something that God is not ready for you to. To deal with. And also you’re dealing with a man and God has to move upon the man because the man is the head. And so that’s where your prayers come in. That God will move in his life, you know. But that’s all I have to say. Thanks. Were you gonna say still you’re gonna say something else? No, no, I just say thank you both.

I appreciate it. Yeah. And I, I just want to say kudos to David. Yeah. Yeah. I was going, hey, the next time he comes, it may be just two. Two times, you know, hasn’t been to me for the rest of the day. Yeah. You left me alone. Yeah. And Jim, you know, you were talking about. I wasn’t going to say anything, but since I will. You were talking about something was. You felt like something was attacking your feet. Isn’t attacking my feet. It was actually carving my feet. Okay, okay. Th. This is what I feel the, the Lord put on my heart when I, when you were saying that.

I think that’s symbolic of your feet, is your walk in the Lord. It’s the path that God’s calling you to. And you said that you feel like he’s calling you to something higher, maybe adding something into your ministry, a different path, and that that is symbolic that the enemy is coming against. What he’s trying to thwart your path in this walk, that God is calling you to this additional thing. Right, Right. Well, that’s what I felt this morning when I got up and I came upstairs and did. I was doing my thing and, you know, is saying, what in the world you know, is, guys? It’s like.

It’s like you’re there, but you’re not there. You probably can’t realize what I’m trying to say. I felt blades cut my feet. Yeah. I felt the cuts on my feet. I felt the, the agony of getting, you know, the fact that I couldn’t move my toad. I, I, Yeah, it was like the presence was like I was there. It wasn’t like it was done, like, subconsciously. I just literally just felt it. It’s. Yeah, the enemy’s trying to. To stop you from going that new, new direction. And also when things happen like that, that’s you, you know, what to pray now and come against.

Yep. You know exactly what to come against. Yeah. The first thing I did this morning says, God, would you wake me up sooner? That’s the first thing I said, God, please wake me up sooner so that, you know, I can deal with this without going through the agonizing condition of the fact that I’m actually thinking my feet are being cut off. So you Know, that’s, That’s how I felt. But you guys got to know my relationship. I just have this open conversation. Why, you know, come on. What, what’s. What, what’s going on? Yeah, well, now, you know there’s going to be opposition, so now, you know you can be on the offensive.

Yeah, stop that opposition, you know? Yeah. I mean, I, I’m just like a, like, like, I’m telling you guys, I was just fat dug and happy in this conf. Conversation with God. Okay, God, what’s this next level, how we’re doing it? What do I got to do, dude? You know, on and on, getting my, my, you know, my planning phases down so that I, I can sort of get myself. And then all of a sudden, this hit and I wasn’t prepared for it. So. Thank you, Don. Let’s go. I just, I’m going to say for me personally, you’re calling out the spirit of feminism has been a life change because women of power can be seduced into that, I think, more quickly.

And they. How do I put this? We can support a marriage or we can undermine it. And I’ve seen relationships that I’ve invited into my life that have undermined my marriage with will and those that have supported it. And it’s essential to get where the spirit of a woman is because she. If she hasn’t really identified that. Rebellious. I get it. I get why it’s so seductive. I get it by heart. Right. So I think that one of your gifts is to point that out, because the role within a marriage is so much better than anything I ever imagined, ever imagine.

It’s incredible. And there’s no way I would be here within my own marriage without you calling that out over and over. And I know that is one of Satan’s favorite tools. I know. It so totally makes sense to me that you’re getting attacked. Totally. Well, I’m glad things are coming more clear to you, David. Sorry, I’m just reading Misty’s message. Oh, yeah, she’s kissing. She’s kicking back. Yeah, she. She did. She’s. She. She thought it was one of the cats attacking her feet. So she, you know, because that was. So she just was trying to kick the cat off and then she.

It was like, oh, I’m getting kicked, and I wasn’t kicking nicely. I was so. I glad I didn’t hurt her. All I was. All I was going to suggest is revisiting what you were talking about with the power of prayer, where 5 can be 50, Etc. So if. If this Room prays for you, Diane. It’ll, it’ll help strengthen whatever God has. That’s absolutely correct. I, I would hope, I would hope guys, maybe, maybe my hope is not yet quite founded in the right position, but I would hope as people speak out about conditions of their life, that you add those to your own prayer list for them so that you do that.

And we, we don’t have to continue to remind you, let’s pray, you know, let’s, we need to do that over some time. But what I hope it is is you see a sister or brother in need and you just fill that need with your own prayer. That’s what I hope because that’s ministry. That should be your ministry. Total, I think. Go ahead, Jennifer. I think also like I, I listen to, and we know usually every afternoon and I like how he ends, you know, his, the prayer. He goes over most everything that he’s talked about and I, I really, I mean, because there are a lot of people who listen to him and so that prayer goes many directions.

So I, I don’t know. I mean, I just wanted to bring that up. I, I mean, he says a lot, so. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, just like you do good at trying to bring closure to the message that he’s sending out with the, as it relates to the spiritual side of things in his, in his concluding prayer. And he also, he also has a gift of picking the right scripture that goes in the opening and the closing of that as well. So. Yes. Yeah. Scott. Hey, Jim. I too have had a similar experience somewhere between yours and David’s quite a long time ago.

Is it okay if I share? Sure. Quite a while ago I wasn’t a new Christian. I, I knew enough to, to, to deal with this situation, but it was quite, quite nerving. I was, I lived alone in a condo in a, you know, middle class neighborhood, very safe. I was sleeping one night and all of a sudden I, I, I become almost like paralyzed and I couldn’t move my arms, couldn’t move my legs and I, I started to sense that I was being held down and I couldn’t open my eyes and I couldn’t speak and I felt something over my mouth, over my face.

I knew, I felt like it was demonic. At least if that was a dream or if it was my subconscious or whatever, my consciousness. I knew that, that if it was demonic, all I needed to do was say the, the name of Jesus. But I couldn’t because they were holding my mouth shut. Well, eventually I somehow worked my way through that and said, you know, I was gonna, you know, say, you know, Jesus, get behind me, but all I could say was Jesus. And my eyes opened, my body was loosed and I saw something moving out the door of my bedroom.

And that was the end of that experience. And I woke up, I was awake because I, I, I was alert, I was awake, I was conscious. And it really made it clear, the power in the name of Jesus for me. Yeah. And again, what, what the Bible says is in the face of evil, you speak a rhema word. And, and it doesn’t say, you have to give a whole paragraph. It says a word. And word can be 1, 2, 3, 5, whatever you need to, to get the point out in the universe for the energy to remove the evil spirit, whatever that might be.

The one thing assurance that you have is, is the name Yeshua, Jesus, Jehovah, Elohim, are Christ itself. Okay? So that immediately opens things up. And if you need to continue on saying anything else, at least that should set you free because basically scripture says that you are set free in the name of Jesus Christ. So it’s all it took. Yeah. Thank you. Anything else, guys? All right, let’s pray. Father, what a tremendous night of study in your Word, what tremendous truths that you have provided to us. Thank you so much for revealing this to us. We can only ask that you prepare each one of our hearts in a manner to understand that what you’ve given us is predicated on a covenant, a contract that’s unconditional on your side, but conditional on ours.

And may we see that the conditionality of that covenant individually with us is based upon our ability to be obedient to you. And it’s through obedience throughout all of scripture where we move from the direction to you, away from the direction of you. It’s why Paul wrote every epistle that exists, is because the mind of the church in those particular geographical territories had beginning, had begun to shift in their theology and doctrine of what they had been taught based upon what man this world Satan system was bringing back into their life. Father, may we ever know the wisdom of this universe, the wisdom of you, the knowledge of you, who you, who Christ is.

But it’s only when we know that that we absolutely then can understand who we are, because we are Him. And we thank you for that because that paid a price that gave us our ticket home. Father, the many, many things on many of this family’s hearts tonight. Loved ones, conditions of people that have removed themselves from their daily walk with you to sickness, to, to death. And we just ask that you give them the peace and joy and understanding and if you control the power in you and the loving grace that you have to offer to him.

Be with us. As we continue through this week. May we ever have peace and understanding of the of the conditions of this world and the and the hands that this all this in. We ask that you give us the great night of joy based upon the ability to come together as this family and the fact that each one of us loves each other and that can only happen by us loving you first. Father Continue on with this special blessing to those are in operations around the world. I would pray for this a long time good out loud to people but there are many many things going on right now and we ask for protection of those that are in harm’s way and protection of those who have loved ones on the battlefield and the fact that basically they need them to come home.

And we to you for the protection in doing so. We ask all these things in my son’s life.
