It’s not as solid of a framework as we would like. Funding is at the core of that. We’re working on a database. We’ve got all 3,000 sheriffs in it, and we’re working on getting our state directors in each state and then to start putting the citizens in it as well so that we can make a lot of difference. So, there is some prerequisites. Yes, we’ve got to vet people and get to know people. And what we’d really like to do, if you really want to be involved, is have you work with one of our regional and or our state directors at first until you kind of get your sea legs under you and everything else.
And then, hey, if there’s enough action in a given state, we can certainly model it after our Florida example, which is working very, very, very well. So are some other states. Anyway, there you go. Now, someone says, hey, I agree with Sheriff Lamb about see something, say something, but that was the first time I heard that it was to build up the deep state. That’s true. So, the question is, the question is who’s in charge, right? When you have good people in charge, a see something, say something is really a tip to investigators to stamp out crime.
I mean, a neighborhood watch is a see something, say something program, right? Well, a neighborhood watch isn’t evil. It all depends on who’s running it and what their agenda is, Sheriff Mack. No, that’s all true. And we do have some real opportunities. And I would tell you right now, if I could move anywhere, and like I think Jennifer said she lives in Idaho, if I could move anywhere in Idaho, I would move to Hawaii County. It’s almost pronounced Hawaii, but it’s spelled O-W-H-E-E, Hawaii. And with Larry Kendrick, Sheriff Larry Kendrick there, one of the best constitutional sheriffs in America.
And he takes it very seriously. And he doesn’t put up with any BS. So, there’s probably four or five sheriffs in Idaho that are really good. But one of the best in the country is Larry Kendrick. And so, like right now, if I could move anywhere, his county would be one of the three I would move to anywhere in the country. Okay, there you have it. Anyway, but you got to have enough people to stand with their sheriffs against these crime sprees. Sheriffs can call posses. Bob Sanger, our sheriff in Washington, put out a manual on how to set up a sheriff’s posse in your area.
So, are you part of your sheriff’s posse? Does he have a posse? And we have that available to everybody. Listen, everybody, you already know you can get a copy of that template. But that is one of the main things we want to do on this program, folks, is address your questions. Absolutely. This is your time. It’s only an hour every Wednesday. So, we do want to make sure that we address your questions and concerns. That you have a personal problem, like, you know, you got a traffic stop and the cop wrote you a ticket, and you told him it was illegal, and you don’t have to have a driver’s license, and you want us to take care of that for you.
That’s not going to happen. Well, and then the next person says, hey, we need grand juries. Do you want me to respond and say, I agree? Yeah, we all do. I mean, I agree. A hundred percent. And now you say, well, hey, we can just create our own grand juries. And, okay, now to me, you’re creating this problem. So, if you want a grand jury, you need to go to your county or your state, and you need to get the right people to impalate and panel a grand jury. These grand juries that just operate because Sam wants to create his jury, and Ian wants to create his grand jury, and Larry wants to create his own.
And, okay, those aren’t the way to go about this. So, do we need grand juries to lay out probable cause into, you know, affectable action? Okay, I’ll agree. A hundred percent. Now, people say about 80% of the people I work with are immigrants, right? I’m trying to teach them about the Constitution. Well, that’s good. First, you got to teach them English, sir. I’m trying to be rude. I’m just, I’m not downing it. And I do support a fully informed grand jury. Don’t misunderstand my point. What I’m saying is that without money and without a big, huge, and I don’t want to use the word army, but citizens contingent, this is very hard to focus on all these topics people are bringing up.
They’re great topics. I’m not at all downing them or disagreeing. I’m just saying, what resources do we have and where should we focus our time, Sheriff Mack? That’s really, in my mind, kind of the roundup question for a lot of these things, right? Yeah. And I mean, look at the focus that we did for a while on CPS. And I even worked with Sheriff Lamb back when he was still sheriff on addressing the concerns of CPS, taking children when they weren’t supposed to. And that’s huge, especially for a family that loses a son or a grandchild to CPS.
And then you never get them back. You know, that’s absolutely horrifying. And it’s one of the reasons that the Ammon Bundy is on the lam right now. And so, folks, the CSP way is doing a great deal. And we get pulled in lots of different directions as well. Funding is always an issue for us. It is. This takes money to do all this. We run on a skeletal budget as it is. But where I am right now is my office. It’s in my home. I’m on the southwest corner of my home. My home is like 2,000 square feet.
We have three bedrooms and two baths. That’s it. So it’s just an average home. But we have made 90 percent of it dedicated to CSP way, especially the garage where we store all of our merchandise. And if you go there, you’ll know it’s actually true. Yeah. Yeah. Just walk in. But we only have a minute left, Sam. So one last question somebody asked, I think it’s really a worthy one. How do you go about asking a sheriff about starting an investigation? Let me quickly answer and then you can respond, Sheriff. How do you go about asking a sheriff to start an investigation? And my response is the first thing you need to do is walk in the front door and build a relationship of trust.
If the sheriff thinks you’re a kook and you come across all half-cocked and crazy and offended because he doesn’t do exactly what you say, you don’t really even know him that well. You’re making a mistake. You want to go in with the idea of how to win friends and influence people. And if you want him to start an investigation, the more probable cause you can give him, the more facts you can give him. And I don’t mean drop 3,000 pages on him. To where he’s overwhelmed, you might say, I got it all wrapped up. All he’s got to do is sign off and he’s done.
No, no, no. He’s got to do his own due diligence, but you’ve got to give him a simple one-page way to understand. And then you’ve got to basically supply some evidence or, hey, he’s going to say this. Why should I launch this investigation? And you’re going to basically say, because here’s the evidence that a lease meets probable cause at the least. And then you need to behave in a friendly way that gives him the opportunity to ask questions, to build trust. In my opinion, that’s how you want to do this stuff. You’ve got to start patient.
You’ve got to give him a chance. Just because you think you’ve got the investigation all wrapped up, that doesn’t mean that he does. And so you’ve got to start slow and build a relationship of trust and document yourself and do so in a way that, hey, if Sam Bushman goes to his sheriff, I want him to go, I don’t know what’s going on, but if Sam Bushman is bringing this to me and if Sam Bushman has this one-page document that lays it out for me, I’m going to look at this seriously because you know what? Sam doesn’t play around.
He’s got his ducks in a row. He’s kind and respectful. Okay, that’s my opinion, Sheriff, but I’m a citizen. Let’s hear from you. Oh, that’s good. No, that’s perfect. That’s perfect. And we got a lot of positive comments on your comments. So folks, I love all of you. I love your support. I love what we’re trying to do here for America. We need to increase this a thousand-fold and we all have a lot of work to do. Let’s get behind what’s moving well in our country right now. I never thought I’d see the day that we were actually going through and addressing all the corruption and all the corrupt spending.
We are. It’s a miracle. Let’s run with it. So again, thanks all of you for being here, Sam. Thank you for moderating today and hosting, and God bless us, and thanks so much. We’ll see you next Wednesday. Yeah, one last quick tidbit. We do have CSPOA leadership meetings. If you want to get a hold of us and you need to be on that list and it makes sense for you to do so, email me libertyroundtable at gmail.com and I will see about email me your name and your phone number so I can talk to you.
And then we’ll see if we can’t get that in place to add you to that list because we do have those meetings. And there are a lot more detailed than the general training that occurs that occurs on the posse, right? The posse is a big group. The state directors are a small group and there’s a different meeting for those people just so you know. Thanks, everyone. Have a wonderful day. [tr:trw].
