Summary

➡ This Bible study discusses the Book of Acts and Ephesians, emphasizing the importance of applying Christian principles in our lives. It highlights the human tendency to surround ourselves with like-minded people, which can lead to exclusion and prejudice. The study also points out that real change can only come through the redemption process of Christ, not just by changing our thoughts. Lastly, it discusses the early church’s struggle with inclusion, where Jews and Gentiles had to learn to coexist, reminding us that acceptance and unity are key in Christianity.
➡ The text discusses how early Christianity, which originated from Judaism, initially used circumcision as a way to exclude non-Jews. However, Jesus and his followers worked to break down these barriers, welcoming all people, including Gentiles, into the church. The text emphasizes that Christianity is about unity and equality, not division, and that all people, regardless of race or social status, are equal in the eyes of God. It criticizes those who use religion to create exclusive social groups, arguing that this goes against the inclusive message of Christianity.
➡ The text discusses the teachings of Paul and the inclusion of Gentiles in the church, emphasizing that all people need salvation and cannot achieve it on their own. It critiques the Course of Miracles for suggesting that people can control their outcomes, arguing that only God can bring about change. The text also explores the story of Peter and Cornelius, highlighting how God molds individuals rather than overhauling them. It concludes by discussing the importance of seeking God and the necessity of hearing the word of God to truly believe.
➡ This text discusses the concept of salvation, emphasizing that it is always available and only possible through Christ. It explains that salvation involves a complete change, like a shift from hate to love, which can only occur through a transformation in our spiritual DNA. The text also highlights the importance of faith and willingness to accept God’s calling. Lastly, it criticizes the tendency to water down the message of salvation to avoid offending others, arguing that the truth should be presented as it is.
➡ The speaker emphasizes that they don’t mind upsetting people with their teachings because they believe they are spreading the truth of the gospel. They argue that it’s not their problem if others reject this truth. They also stress that the Holy Spirit is given to believers immediately upon their acceptance of faith, and that this is a gift, not something that can be earned or delayed. The speaker concludes by stating that without the Holy Spirit, individuals lack the capacity to obey God.
➡ The text discusses the importance of the Holy Spirit in Christian belief. It suggests that the Holy Spirit gives us the power to do God’s will and discern truth from falsehood. It also emphasizes that the Holy Spirit is received at the moment of salvation and can guide us to share God’s message with others. Lastly, it explains that the Holy Spirit was not given until after Jesus was glorified, marking a shift in religious history.
➡ In Acts chapter one, Jesus tells his followers to wait for the Holy Spirit’s power before spreading his teachings. This power, still available to us today, helps us live as Christians and produce good works. However, many churches focus more on gaining new followers than teaching existing ones about this power and how to walk with Christ. It’s important to find a church that teaches the truth of the scriptures and helps its members grow in their faith.
➡ The speaker discusses their personal spiritual journey, emphasizing the importance of not letting negative thoughts interfere with their faith. They also talk about their growing understanding of Islam, cautioning against stereotyping and promoting a vigilant but respectful approach. The speaker ends with a prayer, expressing gratitude for their faith and asking for continued guidance and protection.

Foreign this is our Sunday morning Bible study. We are in the Book of Acts and we are doing Acts in conjunction with Ephesians. Oh, by the way, guys, we had. I’ve had over 200. We’ve had over 200 downloads of the Book of Acts on the 27 other platforms, by the way. So we’re getting the gospel out. That’s the point here. And it’s all because of your support and I appreciate that. So we’re in the Book of Acts and we’re tied the Book of Acts to Ephesians. Ephesians is an individual look at the application of how you apply the principles and rules and regulations in obedience to creation itself in your walking with Christ, which is your conduct with Christ.

And in Acts, it talks about the church and it talks the church is you. And therefore what Acts is telling us is an extension of Ephesians. But it applies to group think. Let’s just say that it applies to you becoming a group one in Christ with many. It’s a group think type thing. So some of you I know I did may have read the Adventures of Tom Sawyer at some time in your your life, especially probably in elementary school as a school book to do some type of, you know, book review on it, book report as they used to call them.

And you remember there was rather a very troublesome character by the name of Huck Finn. Now, Huck Finn was in the simplest sense a rather undesirable type of character. On one occasion, Huck had tried to infiltrate Tom’s gang and the dialogue with something like this as reported to us by Mark Twain. Now turn have haven’t you always been friendly to me? That’s Tom. That’s Tom Sawyer turning to Huck Finn Now, Tom hug Finn saying now Tom, haven’t you always been friendly to me? You wouldn’t shut me out, would you? To which Tom Sawyer replied back to Huck and says huck, I wouldn’t want to and I don’t want to.

But what would people say why did say Tom Sawyer’s gang? Pretty low characters in it that mean you Huck and you wouldn’t like that and I wouldn’t either now as adults and play games or like that less obviously in the majority of cases. In some cases it’s not some cases just completely rude. We want to exclusive put forth an exclusive fellowship. Clicks we want the fellowship of pure. The pure are those who think like we do, whether it’s right or wrong. You just want to be around you just want you to be around people that Think like you.

And we want the fellowship of the deserted, those who would be so gratified to have our presence around. And we usually manage somehow, within the framework of our structure, to screen out anybody who doesn’t enhance our image, make you look good, or strengthen your viewpoint, your opinion. Oh, my gosh, do we not get, you know, our chest buffed up when somebody supports our opinion? Oh, my gosh, we’re such righteous people. Boost our pride, reinforce our prejudice, or feed our ego. In other words, we typically surround us with people that think like us, do things like us, act like us, want to be like us, and basically put us on the pedestal.

Think about it. Self assessment time. Had a conversation lot of part last week with an individual that was in this situation. What? What? And the question was, what should I do? My comment is it said is this first, you know, if you want to change, you got to change your heart. Change doesn’t happen because you think you can change you or you think you have changed you. And the Bible says the only way that you can be changed is through the redemption process of Christ. You’re going to be stuck in this world of demonic oppression, controlled by the prince of the power of the air, with total focus of chaos as the outcome of what you put forth unless you change.

And that change has got to be through Jesus Christ. That is the only vehicle of change. Guys, you can’t change anything. You can’t change yourself, you can’t change your spouse, you can’t change your children. You can’t. You can’t change anything, regardless of what you think. I was, you know, I was this morning thumbing through some things on Facebook and I ran across a. A post about all you have to do is control your thoughts, moving them from hate to love, and everything works out. Oh, my gosh. I wrote a dissertation to that and just about the time I was going to hit send, the screen went blank.

I had to sit back and say, wow, you know, my system didn’t crash it. The screen just went blank. And I says, God, are you telling me something here? You don’t want me to go head to head with this. But, you know, there are groups out there that think that you can control your thoughts and change you by removing a thought focused on hate to a thought focused on love. That is absurd. You can move your thought to love, but if you haven’t changed your heart, what you’ve done is just changed the symptoms of your issue because the root cause of the issue to begin with has not been changed.

You follow me? So we start of friendship group in these kinds of identifying circles. And it’s amazing how difficult it is for us who are in another circle to break into another circle for us to feel at home. Why? Well, let me give. Let me give some illustrations. I know a man, it’s in my investor group. I know a man that was taken to a country club in Palm Springs by a wealthy oil man from Canada who after he had shown the man his winter home that he just purchased for $500,000 in cash, then decided to take this investor and his friends to play golf in Palm Springs.

Now as I talked to the guy, it was kind of funny because he didn’t know what to do. That’s really that. I sort of chuckled at that when he said that. He says, I have never been around rich folks other than me. Okay, he was rich, he was quite wealthy. And the first thing he tried to do was open the car door himself. Can you pull up to the golf course in this mobile? Let’s just say that. And can you imagine him trying to open the door? He was. He said that when he tried to open the door, he was immediately reprimanded because there were people who did that for this guy at this golf course.

And then he tried to take the golf bag out of the trunk. And the other man said, sorry, sir, you don’t need to do that. We’ll take care of that for you. He even tried to open a door to go into the golf center. And there were ladies there who did that. But he said, I was just out of my comfort zone. He said, I got in there and a man asked me if I wanted him to shine my shoes. And he says, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing or hearing. It was a whole different way of belonging.

He said, I wasn’t dressed the right way to begin with. And secondly, he kept doing all the wrong things and he seemed to not fit in. I gave you this illustration because we do this within our society. There are these segmented groups of people. And if we. It’s. It’s really interesting. If you go back to the early part, early church history, you would find the same thing was in real. What was really in reality happening there. And it shouldn’t have, but it did. So what we have created in our society today is no different than what history taught us to do in the early church.

The church was born in Jerusalem and it was compromised mostly of Jews at the beginning and in fact exclusively of Jews with only sons. Half breed Samaritans incorporated with the Jewish. Jews. Jews, if you recall, starting Jerusalem, go to Judea, then Samaria. Samaria, then the other parts of the earth. So what you find is in that commission is exactly what history has shown us. They started with the Jews in Jerusalem, then they went to the Hellenistic Jews in Judea and then they went to a group of Samaritans, the half breeds in Samaria. And the church had become pretty much identified with Judaism.

And in fact there had grown up within this wonderful church that was just blossoming in the first nine chapters of Acts. They’re grown up within this. A party, a party, a faction of people called Circumcision Party. Look it up in history. That’s what they were called, the Circumcision Party. What did the Jews just begin to do? They headed the Gentiles. And as the Samaritans got brought into the picture, they felt like that they needed to separate themselves to protect the Jewish history of Jews being Jews and Gentiles being Gentiles. They did that in the church. And they had come to the conclusion that, that the only way into Christianity was through the foyer of Judaism.

Well, that’s their culture. Now you couldn’t get into Christianity unless you came through Judaism, which is what they were teaching. And in order to fence out the undesirables, the Gentiles, they made circumcision, Circumcision the standard. And that was their way of keeping gentiles at arm’s length. And what did Peter do in carnates? He had to bridge that gap. And they made Judaism sort of the room before Christianity. And so they decided that the way to keep undesirables out was to make them be circumcised. And circumcision became the fifth fence that kept the undesirable out of the Jewish church.

Now Jesus was in the business of smashing fences, was he not? And this was one that had to go. And so as you come to the 10th chapter of the book of Acts, the Lord adds to the church the Gentiles. That is the for fourth 12 fulfillment of the church foundation. That the church could just explode. Why did it need to explode? Is for the people to get the Gospel for salvation and the governments to remove the pagan worship idols, demons from the government and put install God’s government. So if the Jewish had their way and they split, kept this split, none of that would have happened.

You hear what I’m saying? None of it happened. Jewish would still hate the Gentiles. They would be separated for the Gentiles, the church would be completely Spit, not split, not one, not one in Christ. And the governments would still be pagans. So the pagans who were despised by the Jews and who incidentally despised the Jews as well, Gentiles who were thought to be unclean, in whose home Jews would never go, whose food Jews would never eat, and so forth and so on. Now they can includes them into the church. He Christ includes it in the church, into one body with the Jews.

Now this is not going to be an easy task as we have learned in the last four sessions looking at the salvation of the Gentiles house. This is the fifth session and the session that we complete looking at this block of scriptures in various ways to actually get the full context of what we’re being told. So the Lord had already designed to build one body. Ephesians 2 says to make one new man to join together Jews and gentiles. And Ephesians 3 said the the mystery of the church was Jew and Gentile 1 in Christ. Okay, we get the plan in Ephesians 1, 2 and 3.

We get the application individually in 4, 5 and 6 of Ephesians we get the application of building the church in Acts. So this was God’s design to have one more group of people who were his own, his body, his channel to the world. Now that scripture he didn’t say to the earth why? Because they were already one body in the earth. That was what God originally created. That was part of my dissertation that got wiped out. Today I was explaining to this group, I would have explained to this group how so far wrong they had gone off track because they didn’t understand number one creation, number two, who God is.

And number three, they were trying to define who they are by looking at something that was man controlled. And they were completely off base. And so the Gentiles had to be reached. But the Jews believe that the uncircumcised were alienated from God, they were corrupt and so forth and so on. And this ultra Judaistic, ultra conservative group segmented away within even the framework of the early church. And they tried to hold on to such distinct Christians as circumcision. I want to come back, I’m going to come back to this in, in a political sense in a moment.

And really they shouldn’t have. Okay. There was no basis for it because in the Old Testament, the Bible had very clearly outlined the fact that God didn’t play favorites. We talked about that last week. Peter says in verse 34, I perceive this, I’m learning this, that God is no respecter of persons. In other words, he has no favoritism. That’s not anything new. That’s something very old that came from the Old Testament way, way back. And last time I gave you three or four passages where it indicates that God said, I am not respecter of persons. He plays no favorites.

Self assessment. You can’t be in a group of people. I want you to really think about this. You cannot be in a group of people that plays favorites to anybody. Oh, look at your social clubs. I’m a member of Kiwanis, I’m a member of this rotary. I’m a member of whatever. Oh, I play, I play bridge with a group of ladies. I, I play dominoes with a group of men. I do all of this stuff in groups. And you begin to worship the group instead of worshiping God and administering to people. God says I play no favorites in social.

You. That means no social verse. Self assessment. How much time are you spending in social groups? You may think it’s fun and enlightening and all that, but how much time are you putting in social groups where you should be putting it into the ministry to people. Now I’m not saying ministry to people can’t be fun and engaging, but it should not be in a click. And so Peter should have known that at this very time, even though it took him a while to get it. And the Jews shouldn’t have known it. Who it knew in the Old Testament, in addition to that, Jesus himself had even said as much.

Jesus said to them in parting words, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to the Jews, right? No, to every creature. And he said, make disciples and baptize them in the name of Christ. And so Jesus had clearly indicated that the fellowship in Christ was non exclusive, that it was wide open and it was available to all. But he said another tone. He showed them that they shouldn’t do it either. Why? Let’s look back to Peter. Peter went and had his click societal cultural thing where the Jews and Paul immediately called him out face to face for doing that which should not be done as a Christian.

Are you getting what I’m saying? You are not in this world of being a Christian, a, a citizenship of heaven, living a foreign experience on this world. You should not be into any groups, clips, society chapters, whatever you want to call them. And so there really shouldn’t have been any reason for this whatsoever. But nevertheless, in a judistic, traditional framework, that’s how they had grown up. Well, that’s the reason why you’re into your society Chapters. That’s the reason why you get into society ups and think you’re one of those ups and you push everybody out. That is not the way of a Christian.

Galatians 3:26. Paul says this. You are all the sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus. As many as you have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Put on Christ. You can’t put on Christ if you are doing the society things in your culture that are against the scripture. So there is neither June or Greek. You’re all one in Christ. That’s the message of Christianity. There’s no distinction of race at all, race at all. Cultural, structural things. You’re all equal. No matter how much money you have or where do you, where you live or anything else about it, you are the same.

Now I saw a unique thing this past week talking about the definition of words and the word that they were talking about was equality. Oh, it was on Len with, with Charlie Kirk’s review Saturday night by the way. Yeah, that’s what it and the discussion was is equality in the minds of people are not the biblical way of defining equality. Because biblical wet biblical way. Everybody is equal. And if everybody is equal, all of the rights given by God to, to us in this world, knowing that we come into a fallen state and we have the rights of God.

Why? Because he’s the one that created us. So knowing that we have the rights of from God in equal conditions of humanity. The elite has said that they want equality. Well, you define equality. What’s equality for you? Well, I believe in equal rights. Okay, what are equal rights? I believe in free speech. What’s free speech? Is it free speech for you and not for me? We have been turned around in such a way the love duality. We’ve been turned around in such a way in the society that they’re using the scripture to try to to control you.

Now we’re all in one in Christ. That’s the message of Christianity. That’s equalness. There’s no distinction of race at all. When Christ came, God’s promise was fulfilled. God’s promise was this, that in Abraham’s seed all the families of the earth should be blessed. And it was not that salvation was the the Jewish inclusively, but that it was the Jews in order that they might preach its complete freedom to the rest of the world. And so really they weren’t given the gospel as at the end by means. And they failed the test. That’s the reason why Paul in the Greek Paul came onto the scenes and Christ brought in the Gentiles to the church.

Now, when you look around the world, you find that all men are equally in need of salvation. All men are equally unable to provide it. You can’t think your way out of the bases of how you were born in this world. Now, guys, I believe I. I believe a lot of. Of great passages of. Of par. Or let’s say great paragraphs or sections in books. I quote them all the time, but I quote them in a context that relates to the scripture. Yeah, I have to say this, and I might just tick off a few of you.

That’s the same way that I do. In a course of miracles. There are certain. I’ve read it. There are certain paragraphs that when you put it in context with Scripture, it provides a different way or a different point of view, and it can be understood in that point of view. And why do I want to reinvent the WH when I could just quote from some other text and pulling it in? Because there are truths in everything, right? There’s truths in everything. But the course of miracles, if taught incorrectly, produce a method by which man can control the outcome.

And that’s not true. There’s areas in a course of miracles that go absolutely opposite of Scripture. And there are areas in the course of the miracles that when taught. It’s not taught scriptural base. It’s taught, of course, on miracles based. And it’s leading people to the wrong conclusion. But let’s go back. All men are equally unable to provide that. That’s how I got off on this. Because the course of miracles say you can change your thoughts from hate to love and be okay. Now you’re in the love fest. Nope, that is not true. You can’t change anything.

Scripture says God is the only change agent. How can you become a new creature by yourself if you’re born into this world demonic, controlled by the prince of the power air with the. With a focus on chaos. And you just want to do a mind shift from hate to love without changing the core of the root of the problem. That does not work. And so God provides it equally for all men. And there can be no prejudice. Christ came to be a savior into the world. Well, this didn’t come easy to the Jews. And Peter had to learn through a series of things before he went to Cornelius.

First, God had given him a vision, right? You recall that God had broken down his prejudice in regard to Samaritans in the future. I’m sorry. In the house of Simon the Tanner, which Jews never went to mess with Tanners, he had broken down some of the other things that Peter had felt strongly about in terms of traditional background. And little by little, Peter’s ad attitude began, was beginning to break down. And finally here in front of Cardenius, he says he admits to that. I see God’s no respecter of persons. And so God has prepared him and he’s ready to preach to Cornelius.

Well, he didn’t really get a chance to. All he did was open his mouth and God shut it. Because the Holy Spirit already came. That’s how simple it is. Now, we talked about this in regards to you. God is not going to give you an overhaul. All right? I, you know, I, I, I, I like, I love my wife, okay? She’s love it. And, and Sundays after we have coffee, she says, I gotta go to an overhaul. Well, I know that that means hours. That’s all it means that she’s in the bathroom for hours doing her thing, blah, blah, blah, blah.

God does not do that. God doesn’t say, I’m going to give you an overhaul. What God says is he’s going to mold you. He’s going to take what he gave you, take your personality, take everything about you, and he’s going to mold it, mold it, shape it. He’s not going to change it if you have a very strong attitude. He’s not going to make you have a weak attitude, all right? He’s going to take the attitude that you have, and, and he’s going to mold it to his benefit. And that’s what he was doing with Peter.

Now, Cornelius is a gentile. We’ve learned that he’s a ruler, really, in a real sense, because he ruled over a hundred men in the army of Rome. He was a centurion. And Corneas is a man who has attached himself to Judaism. Remember, he, he, he sought out the, the truth about God, and in doing so, he came to Judaism and he felt that that was giving him more truth, and therefore he sought more truth. And in doing that, what did God do? Give him more light, your metabolical light. And Kes is a man who has attached himself to Judaism because he believes that God, the true God, is represented by God of Israel.

Now, he doesn’t yet know how to be saved. He’s not saved, but God is dealing with him in such a way as, as Corneas, think about your self assessment as Carneus sought. Remember the, the, the Gospels say, seek ye to, to improve towards God. In other words, you’re not going to ever get there. But you need to continually seek that at some point along the way, if you reach the capacity that Elijah and Enoch with, you’re not going to be a mortal man and God’s just going to take you. He’d do that in this life if we could get there.

But we’re so in a corrupted area that it’s very, very difficult for us to keep so focused on this seeking of God to get us to the point where Elijah and Enoch were in the Old Testament. They didn’t have all of the distractions. They had time to just deal with their understanding. So Cornelius doesn’t yet know how to be saved. And he does not know that he’s found the right God he thinks he has. And so that is the reason why people, when they’re saved, must hear the word of God. Because you’re seeking it. You think you know whether or not that you’re dealing with a real guy, but you really don’t know.

You can’t do it yourself. Somebody has to come and tell you, and you have to hear it before you can believe. That’s what Peter is doing. So Peter’s going to preach beginning in Acts 10, verse 34. Cornelius is not alone now. He’s got his whole family around. He has a gathered together, his whole household of people, and they’re all eagerly waiting to hear what Peter has to say. Now in this chapter 10 then becomes a major chapter in the Bible, because it’s this chapter that presents us the presentation that explodes the Gospel to include the world.

And it becomes very important because we spend some time and some detail on this in looking at it. It’s so important because this is the transition of the church from the Jewish focus, Jewish dispensations, to the Gentile focus, and the Gentile dispensation that is later going to come by Paul in Corinthians. So in the chapter, we see the salvation of the Gentile, that the process that is set up for Cornelius is the same process that is set up for us. There’s no difference. When you read about Cornelius being saved, that is you being saved in this life.

So we look at it both historically and then we must look at it personally, because both are important. Now we’ve seen. Let me just quickly review the first three points. Already in the past amendments, we’ve considered the this, the last three we did that last time we saw. First of all, in order for salvation of the Gentiles to happen, there had to be what a sovereign call, how that God moved in and prepared Cornelius, just like he would move in and prepare you. Then there had to be a submissive will. You needed to respond, and you need to respond positively or nothing was going to happen.

Now, you might feel the calling of God happening in your life, okay. And you feel more guilt or whatever you’re feeling, and you begin to seek out God and. And what? And God says, okay, I’ll call you. You might not be ready for that. And you negatively respond to that calling. Well, the next time it’s going to be. The calling is going to be a lot more severe and more difficult for you. He starts on a very low scale. And if you negatively respond, he crescendos the scale to where at some point he’s going to get your attention.

There’ll be something in your life that happens that will absolutely draw your attention to him. And then you’ll follow, finally realize that you need God’s help in order to move forward. And you’re going to respond at that point positively. Well, a lot of people ask, why don’t I respond positively along the way? Well, that’s your free will. Remember, you’re called in Ephesians 1, you’re predestined according to Ephesians 1. We’ve had a long conversation about predestination. Okay? The reason why you’re predestined is because God knows the end from the beginning. Why? Because you were. This art was already done in heaven in the simulation of this physical world.

And God knows what’s going to happen in your life and when it’s going to happen. And therefore he moves you in the direction of that calling date based upon what you did in heaven. So Carnitas needed to respond with a desire to come to know the gospel. And so we saw a sovereign call, a submissive will. And then once that had already set. Was set in motion, God’s calling. I agree. Okay, Christ. God’s going to move forward. He’s going to move forward not only in your. In preparing you, but he’s going to bring in a messenger.

He’s beginning to prepare that messenger to come talk to you. So as these are already set in motion, all you needed then was a simple proclamation. Just the facts. We don’t need to go and embellish any more than the facts. Because if God has called them and they have responded, the only thing he knew is to give them the facts of the gospel and God takes over the rest. That’s exactly what happened with Cornelius. As soon as Peter opened his mouth, God shut it because the Holy Spirit had already come in and saved all of Carneus and his dwelling.

Folks, the heart of Cornelius was ready from God’s standpoint, just like it would be in anybody else. It was ready from his standpoint. He only needed information. And so Peter appears with a simple presentation. Now, last week we considered the presentation. Now let’s just take a quick review of that by reminding you what it was. Peter introduced introduced to Corningus in verse 34 and 35. And his instruction was this. Cornelius and friends. Hello. Welcome. I’m Peter and he’s standing in their house. I’m happy to announce in the city of Caesarea and to you and all Gentiles, salvation is what available.

That’s what he was saying. It’s available to you. That was the first thing in Cornelius mind. Can I get access to this guy? If you think about the process of doing anything, regardless of what it is, the first thing you knew might need to know is can I get access to what I want? Is it available to me? Well, that was the first thing on corning his mind. And what Peter did is put that to bed immediately. God doesn’t play in favorite. Any man in any nation who fears God does righteously. God will accept him. So it Salvation is always available.

And the second point which is the. Which was Peter’s major theme is salvation is only in Christ. Change is only in Christ. New creature is only in Christ thought process. Change is only in Christ. And that’s what Corneas needed to hear. Who is the Savior? Who is the Messiah? Who is the Redeemer? And he says it’s Christ. And he goes all the way down the line and he says, you see, Christ is your Savior on and on. Verse 42 he says he is your judge. I want you to think about something Self system. We tend to judge ourselves.

How do we do that? It’s consciousness. We’ve talked about that. Our ability to know right and wrong is through our consciousness and how it interacts with our emotional control system. We fear fear or. Or have an upset stomach. Our hair’s raised on the back of our head or whatever it is when we come close to evil and then we feel comfort and joy and all the things peace and rest and all those things when we see good. How can you take that which you can’t control by the way and change your mind to think that you can go from hate to love and I’m automatically okay, can’t.

He’s your judge and he exalts Christ and. And says Christ is the judge. And you can compare John Chapter five with that. Because John chapter five presents the fact that Jesus Christ was given judgment by the Father. So he presents Christ as the way of salvation and the only way of salvation. Change. Salvation. Define salvation. It’s change. 180 degree change. Giving, as Ephesians says, giving up your old self and putting on the new. You exchange all of your old ways to your new ways. And your new ways can only come through being a new creature and receiving the new nature of God, which is your DNA, by the way.

So let me go back once again. If the change agent associated with you being changed is salvation, new creature, new nature, then that being required is only provided by a change in your DNA. So I’m going to go back, man. How can you change from a hate focus in your thoughts to a love focus in your thoughts and think that you have changed the root problem? You cannot. Why? Because your DNA is not changed. Now this he concludes with a powerful imitation in verse 43, to him give all the prophets witness, in other words, that this testimony isn’t just mine, that through his name, and that means through his person, through all that he is, whoever, whosoever in him hats scared me to death.

Whosoever believeth in him shall receive forgiveness of sins. All right. Salvation is available. It’s introduced. Salvation is in Christ. Main thing. Salvation is by faith, invitation. This is the beautiful thing about salvation, because Peter simply says, cornelius, you can have it. Here it is. Here’s how you get it. That’s all you need to know. It’s simple. And the fantastic thing about it, it doesn’t tell us what happened in Scripture. It just says, the Holy Spirit interrupted Peter in verse 44. And you say, what were the results? Well, you can believe me. Peter had results. Peter never preached without results.

Once Peter got the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, Peter never preached without results. They either came running to Christ or they got mad. That’s it. Two results. Same thing. That happens today. Okay, we think, oh, my gosh, you know what? I. I ruffled the feathers. I. I said too much. I did whatever. You know what? If you’re presenting the facts, which is exactly what we talked to before we talk we again, this Bible study, if you cite the facts, who cares whether they get mad or not? The truth shall make you free, not set you free. Make you free.

Well, so in the second chapter of Acts, Peter’s great sermon, 3,000 people were saved. Why? Because the Spirit of God had done the preparation work in their hearts. God is not going to send you on a task. He’s not going to call you to do anything if he doesn’t provision you with the proper outcome. All you have to do is move. Because there was no work of the Spirit preliminary to that. Why? Because they had already willfully rejected again and again. They really were apostate by that time. And Peter presented the gospel to them, even offered them somebody in.

I was had to get out of my spot because he had to offer them an invitation. That’s all he had to do. Neither is your salvation in any other way as well. There’s no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Oh, oh, what’s safe? Change. If you can ever get in your mind that synonymous with change is saved, then you can actually remove all of the man’s principles, regardless of what you read, what you see, what you hear and understand, that change is only going to happen by being said. You get it.

He lays it all out, but nothing happens but animosity and bitterness and hatred. And there’s two things that make the difference. Sovereign call, submissive will. Where they are present, salvation occurs. Where did I say? Positive response, negative response. Where they are not present, salvation does not occur when God has done the preparation work and the heart of man has not responded. There can be no response to the gospel but animosity and indifference. But here, God has done the work. I mean, I’ve been. I’ve been showing you for the last four weeks. The first 33 verses of this chapter is the work of God in the life of Cornelius and Peter.

And so Peter just gets up and says, salvation’s available in Christ and by faith and uamo, they all believe. Why? Because the preparation is already done. We think we’re going to get a calling. We’re going to go have to go do all kinds of things to get the results. No, all you have to do is being a willing participants to God’s calling and move and allow him in the preparation of what is you’re going to give and the preparation of you to give it. And when you open your mouth, God is going to take over everywhere in the New Testament scriptures, that’s exactly what happened.

So if it’s going to happen in the apostles, why doesn’t it happen in here? Why? Well, here’s the reason. Because we are so ingrained in the cultural aspects of what we are trying to do to not ruffle the feathers of the person that we’re talking to that we water it down. I have to laugh, guys. I get comments all the time. You’re brass. You’re you know what? You, you ruffle the feathers, you, you get people angry or what? You know what? I don’t care. Why? Because I’m allowing the Holy Spirit to do what we’re doing today.

And it’s the truth. I’m not in charge. And what we talk about is all scripture based. It’s all truth. Why should I care? I’m not going to take on your guilt or your anger or your animosity or your bitterness because you don’t want to accept the gospel of Christ. That’s not my problem. My whole focus is to provide you with the understanding of the truth and allow the Holy Spirit to do what he does. And in doing so, I planted the seed. In some cases, I’m harvest harvesting the seed. In others, I am actually building fruit.

In others which happen again this weekend in a situation of a family oriented process. I don’t care if you’re angry because when you’re angry with me, then you’re angry with the Holy Spirit and you’re grieving the Holy Spirit. See? And that by scripture is something that you’re told not to do. So in verse 44, while Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all of them who heard the word. Now let me tell you something. God doesn’t give the Holy Spirit to unbelievers. Wow, you don’t get it. Guys. You stay. Think about this. I want to change my thought from hate to love.

I’m automatically going to be shifted. Blah, blah, blah. God does not give the Holy Spirit to unbelievers. Therefore you cannot change. We’re masking the root issue. God gives his Holy Spirit to, to believers. And you know what? It’s a beautiful thing that he doesn’t say in their verse 43a. And Cornelius believed and everybody else believed and they all said, come into my life, Jesus and all that. There doesn’t need to be any of that. These churches, it says you have to stand up and profess. Your faith of what happened to you in the experience of salvation is against scripture.

Why? Because it’s an individual thing. It’s shown as an outcome of your actions to the rest. Let’s be honest, from a human standpoint, there’s the only way we can verify anybody’s salvation is by their fruits. You know them. The only way you can really see what God did in a life to see. To see what happened in that life is by their fruits, not a mouthy profession of faith. Three things followed. Three things led up to the salvation. Silent call, submissive will, and simple proclamation. Three things that followed. Spiritual power, symbolic confession, and sweet fellowship. Now, let’s start with spiritual power.

The first thing that happened in verse 44, while Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all of them who heard the Word. But what a thrill to preach the gospel or to teach the gospel and have everybody in the crowd get saved. That would be fantastic. What an exciting thing to do. What. What is an exciting thing for Peter? His message was suddenly interrupted while he was speaking. Look at verse. Look at chapter 11, verse 15. He goes back to report to the folks in Jerusalem about what happened at Cornelius. And he. And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them as all on.

As on us at the beginning. In other words, he’s telling the Jewish leadership just like happened to us at the beginning. What, the tongues, all that good stuff, the fire. Because Peter and everybody need to have the. The experience of seeing the exact same thing. So did that happen to Carus and all of the followers in his house? And that’s what he went back to report to the Jerusalem council in chapter 11, verse 15. He didn’t even get warmed up. Just gave the message and got going. And the Spirit came. You said. You say, well, what does that mean? It just means this.

I’m going to expand this thought for you in a moment. Salvation is available. It was in Christ. And then the minute he says it is by faith, bang. They believe. That’s all they needed to hear. And immediately when somebody believes, God grants what that somebody? His Holy Spirit. You’re baptized with the Holy Spirit. What they zap in your heart, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. And it closes. It’s sealed. Nothing can come in or go out. That’s not something you wait for, by the way. Contrary to what you hear so often in the pulpits. It’s amazing that it doesn’t say.

And then they were out. Went out. And Peter told them how to get the Holy Spirit. You know, there are some Pentecostal friends, friends who teach that you get the Holy Spirit later on. Oh, and the Catholic Church says you have to work for it. And other religions like Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism says you don’t even get the Holy Spirit. You just get Buddha and Muhammad and the Hindu guy. You know, there’s. And. And you don’t have to take this pass. Du Plessy does this. You have to take this. He’s a writer for the Pentecostal viewpoint.

He then says, Cornelius was already saved, and this is only the time he got the Holy Spirit. The problem with that is in chapter 11, verse 14, Peter was telling the people in Jerusalem what he said there. Who shall tell the words by which thou in all thy house? What words shall be saved? Not only that. If this was the occasion of Cornelius getting the Holy Spirit, why did Peter preach him the gospel? Why didn’t he give him something on the Holy Spirit? Because it doesn’t make any sense. This is his salvation. And the moment he believed, God interrupted Peter and in effect he said, all right Peter, that’s sufficient.

They’ve got the message. I’ve I got to give them the Spirit. Because they believe God withholds not the Spirit from the believing heart. Now it is wrong to say that somebody can be saved and not have the Holy Spirit here. They believed. And God even interrupted Peter’s sermon and gave him the Holy Spirit. This was the Pentecost of the Gentiles. That is why this whole chapter and our focus on saving the Gentile is so important. Important because this was the shift in Jewish traditional dispensations in Gentiles church and the dispensation by faith. God gave them the Holy Spirit when they believed.

Now that becomes the norm for every believer. From then on, from Cornelius to now, everybody’s the same in the dispensation of receiving salvation through faith. When a man believes God gives him the Holy Spirit, there are no tricks to getting him. He’s yours at salvation. The first thing that happens when you put your faith in Jesus Christ instantaneously God gives you the Spirit of God who then dwells within you from then on to death and is present, is as eternal as your salvation. He’s at home. Now God even interpreted, interrupted Peter, to bring it about. This is the immediate result of saving faith.

The Spirit indwells in the believer instantaneously. Now I want to expand on this a little bit because this is a very confused issue in today’s world. And people are forever and ever saying, I’m searching for the Holy Spirit or I’m seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or I’m saved, but I’ve not yet received the Spirit. Now I want to clarify once and for all about this area. I want you to hear me. When you believe. That’s the condition, by the way, salvation belief. When you believe the moment that you believe, the moment you put your faith in Christ, you are at that very instant receive the presence of the Holy Spirit, of God within you.

You don’t wait for it. You don’t get it. You don’t do 49 spiritual push ups, any rituals, whatever to earn is given to you at the very moment in faith you believe in Christ. That is absolutely clear in scripture. And you can begin by looking at Ezekiel 36 in the old Testament to show you how clear it really is. First, Ezekiel 36:26. Here’s the promise of God. It goes that far back in the Old Testament. A new heart also I will I give you. Now that’s salvation. The man needs a new heart because the old one is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.

So he needs a new heart. You need to become with a new heart becomes a new creature. A new heart requires new DNA, a different blood flow, a different algorithm of electrical currents stimulating the mind. You become a new creature with a new heart. That’s salvation, guys. And a new spirit will I put within you. Notice salvation and the Spirit are connected at the same moment. Ezekiel, I’ll take away the stony heart of your flesh stoning chaos stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes.

Oh, why? Because he wrote the statues in your heart to begin with. And you shall keep my ordinances obedience and do them now. Let me tell you something. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you can’t and couldn’t obey God. You would not have the capacity to obey God. For God to say to you, now you’re a Christian, do this and I’ll give you the Holy Spirit would be ridiculous. You wouldn’t have the power to do what you’re needing to do to get the spirit by the way, because you don’t control it. You must have the spirit in order to have the power to do anything.

In John chapter 14, not by my before say John 14:17. While you’re turning there, you don’t have to turn there. I’ll just. I’ll just do it. Remember what the Old Testament said? Not by might nor power, but my spirit, saith the Lord. The only possible energy. Energy. What do we talked about? Outward energy. Here you breathe inward energy, that which controls your heart. Stimulus to your physical brain. The only possible energy or power for anything that pleases God. And Now John in 1417 he says this. Even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive. Stop.

I said I was going to get to this political. I’m going to get to it now. You cannot receive the truth from this world, no matter what resources you go after. If they are not with it, have the spirit of God inside of them. You’re to discern. You should discern the people that you’re listening to in order to see their background, to determine the fruits. Because you’re by fruits, you’re going to know that they’re safe. If they don’t exhibit the fruits, they’re not saved. Therefore they can’t tell you the truth. We get so ingrained in what the mainstream media tells us and what our government tells us and what anybody else tells us because we have an opinion.

If you do not discern the facts, you are going to be caught up in this world to such degree you’re going to cut off the relationship that you have with Jesus Christ. In order for you to know the truth, you have to discern the person who’s telling you the truth. And if you’ve not done that, then you’ve not done the work of scripture that tells you that you need to verify the everything and in verification tells you the only way you’re going to know that they’ve been saved is, is by their fruits. And if you’ve not seen their fruits, then you need to question the truth.

The world cannot receive him because it sees him not, doesn’t know Him. Watch it. Watch this. But you know Him. Now listen to this. For he dwelleth with you and shall be in you. Period. No qualification understanding that nothing changes without salvation. You can’t physically change your situation if you don’t change the root cause of your situation. And you can’t know the truth if you don’t discern the people who are giving you the truth. The promise of God is giving the Spirit to be within us. Now, John chapter seven, and I want to show you something very important here.

John chapter seven introduces us to the Spirit of God in a very unique way. And I’m going to kick this off and show you how important it is for us to have the Holy Spirit and want, I believe unequivocally, with no contradiction, that we absolutely, at the moment of salvation, receive the spirit. John 7:37. This is the feast of tabernacles which is going on at the time. The pouring of the water symbolizing, of course, God’s substance of Israel in the wilderness. Now, people have been saying Israel’s words, I mean Isaiah’s words about drinking at the well of salvation.

At that very moment when somebody’s looking at water, Jesus stands up in verse 37 and says this. If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. In other words, Jesus takes the whole illustration, the whole deal, and turns it to himself and takes advantage of that, that situation. You know what’s going. What what he’s saying? He’s saying that if you’re thirsty, you can drink. Well, what do we say? If you’re thirsty, go get a glass of water, go get milk, go get coffee, tea, whatever. You know that salvation could come at that day to those people.

If they would turn to Jesus Christ, they could have received the water. Interesting. Your body’s made up of over 83% or other thing it might be. Yeah, I think it’s 83% on water. The life is in the blood. Think about it. What flows in you and water in a saving salvation is not only a new heart. With God’s presence in your heart, you have a new DNA. You have a water source that supplies your blood flow in a different flow. I said that while ago. And you now have a new nature with a new electronic stimulus from the heart that is sitting there with God’s son and spirit.

And they’re directing what you should be doing. The question is, are you listening? They can receive the water. Remember that. The water that he gave the woman at the well. He said, if you believe in me, I’ll give you water and you’ll never thirst again. And so there was the promise that they could have spiritual water, spiritual refreshment, a spring of pure cleansing water of life, life, the blood, the life’s in the blood, life inside of them. But he goes on a second step in verse 38. This is a powerful statement. He that believeth on me.

Notice the qualification here. He that does what believeth on me. No other qualification necessary. As the scripture has said, out of the heart shuffle rivers of living water. Wow. Biological salvation changed new creature. Water changed. The flow of life in your blood changes. The water has changed. The DNA has changed. New electrical current stimulus has changed. You now got a heart that’s stimulating your brain instead of you trying to do it yourself. Why do they want to intercept the the the signals from the heart with MRNA vaccines? To control the electronic stimulus from the heart to the physical brain.

Because they know more than you know. I have a twofold promise. Hang in here with me. Not going to make it all the way through. Number one, you’re going to receive the water. And number two, it’s going to gush out of you. Not a trickle, but what Rivers, Gushing rivers of water. Two promises here. Number one, you get spiritual refreshment from him, Christ and a flowing of the water of life. New flow in the blood that comes out of me, Christ to the world. Yeah. Now just saying that is evangelism. That’s what he’s talking about that the life that is in me by Christ flows out of me to reach others.

Prs that’s the promise. Once you’re saved, if you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you, you now have rivers of water that he’s given you in the new creature that you’re just going to need to open your mouth and let the Holy Spirit takes over and you’re going to have them gushing out of to others. Now here’s the key. Verse 39. But this spoke he of the Spirit, whom they that believe on him should receive. Future tense. It’s coming. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given because Jesus was not yet glorified. That’s the reason for the two dispensation periods.

The Jews had to wait to receive the Holy Spirit in water baptism because Christ was not yet glorified. But the Gentiles could get it automatically because Christ had already received his glorified body. Well, we’ve talked about this body. This body looked like Jesus as he walked this earth. This by body. The glorified body showed exactly all of his scars and his imperfections as he walked this earth. Remember he had. He had nails in his hands. Therefore he had holes. He walked up to. To Thomas and says, put, put your fingers him through the holes of my hand.

You want to touch the. The. The where the spear went into my side. He, his glorified body looked like his physical body as he walked earth. Why is that important? Because that’s what you’re going to get. Your body in your glorified state will resemble the same body that you have here in this physical realm. Christ says, I’m the. I’m the same yesterday, take tomorrow. If he got a glorified body that look like that, so shall you. He doesn’t change. Now watch this. This is saying this about Jesus. Jesus says, people, you can now believe you can drink the water of life.

Someday you will gush with me water of life to the world. But that can’t happen until the Spirit comes in. You say, look at it again. This spoke he of the Spirit. This is he. Jesus Christ spoke of the Spirit whom that they believe should receive future 10. But he was not yet given, which means he didn’t. He was not yet glorified in the body, so he couldn’t send the Holy Spirit. Yet. The principle is this. All who believe will receive the Spirit. Now if you look at it backwards, who receives the Spirit? Those who believe.

That’s the only qualification. We’ll say, well, why don’t they Receive the Spirit yet. And we’re talking about the dispensation before Christ was glorified because the Spirit hadn’t yet come. You can’t send the Spirit of you unless you are glorified first. But once the Spirit had come, in Acts chapter one, the promise was, ye shall receive power after the Spirit comes, and then you shall be witnesses unto me. Almost stop after this. Now what he’s saying, Watch this. He’s saying, men, women, all who hear, come to me and you can have spiritual nourishment. The water of life.

Oh, changed, changed person, changed creature, changed. You may. Your. Your. The water is not contaminated inside of you anymore. You now the water of life flowing through your veins. And someday when the Spirit gets here, you’ll become a gushing river of that water to the world. Did you ever hear Jesus in the gospel say, men, I want to. I want to let you know you’re not doing the job. Get out of there and evangelize. No, he didn’t tell him that. In Acts 1 he said this. I’ve told you everything that there is to know. I’ve spent time with you post resurrection.

I’ve informed you, even teaching them the Old Testament prophet prophecies so that they would know how Christ fulfilled it, which gave them then the boldness in believing in who Christ was. I’ve talked to you about the kingdom. And now he says, men, don’t do anything. Stop. Wait. That’s exactly what he says. Stay in Jerusalem until you be endued with the power from the Spirit of God. Don’t do anything. Why? They were not under the influence of the Holy Spirit to have the power to allow them to further the gospel for Jesus Christ. Once the Holy Spirit came, they received power, which is the same power that you and I have today.

Our own issue is, are we allowing that power to shape us, sanctify us to be sanctified in Christ so that we absolutely know, number one, you’re a Christian. Number two, you’re walking in fellowship with him. You’re walking worthy of your calling and you’re producing fruits. And we’re going to stuck right now. I get into the rest of this next week. We talked too much at the beginning. That’s okay. I thought we needed to do that. So, Jim, then when they’re out of their mind, they’re out of the river and they’re in the wilderness then. Right? Okay.

Because they’re low on current, they’re low on scripture energy, the whole nine yards. Right. All right, thank you. Okay, guys. Does that make sense? Do you understand what Sam just said? It’s important. Do you understand what Sam said? You live in two systems. Yeah, live in two systems. All right. From within the very beginning of Genesis. Genesis 1:1. It’s. It’s the law of duality. And at its best, it’s telling you about the two systems. You don’t go in and out of Christianity. You go in and out of two systems. When you disobey, when you close off, when you grieve the Holy Spirit, you go out of the system of control.

Christ didn’t leave you. Holy Spirit didn’t leave you. You go out of the system of control into the system of the matrix. You put yourself in the world. You defeat yourself. So what Sam was saying in his way is, did they go into the wilderness? Yes, they did. What’s the wilderness? The matrix energy flow. Real quick, Jeff. Yeah, that’s us being mammon, not serving God. That’s right. Another way of doing it. Another way of looking at scripture about what it’s telling you. Okay. That’s all it is. Well, that just kind of brought up something that I realized in my spiritual walk after receiving the Holy Spirit when I was nine.

I think that what I see as a weakness in most of the churches is they’re looking to try to save people, which is really God’s job, because of free will, instead of helping those that are already saved, recognizing the power of the Holy Spirit and how to continue to walk with Christ along as we go through this matrix. So that’s just my revelation recently that I realized that I had never had that teaching until. Well, until you. So thank you. You’re welcome. So I know Billy, Ruth and Bobby’s gone to church, but this is an issue that Billy and Ruth and I talked about.

I don’t know what. Tuesday night, I think the ordeal of the church. And we’re not in disagreement, but there are. There is some theological and doctrine differences in what people think about the church. And what’s the truth about the church. If you don’t discern the church, Just like I said about discerning people that are telling you what you think is the truth, if you don’t discern the church in the doctrine of the church and the. The. The message, the scriptures, the teaching of the church into its componentry of the biblical scripture, if they’re not matching that, you’re at the wrong church.

Church does have a role to play in this, but the role to play needs to be in support of what the scriptures say, that it’s today’s church, you’re more going to sensationalism salvation, emotionally driven salvation instead of God’s calling. That’s today’s church. If they’re not saying the three things we talked about today, it’s available. You can get it by faith. If they’re trying to give you any other description of the gospel but that what? 2nd Corinthians 2:15. I mean, 1st Corinthians 2:15, the gospel, that’s simple. If they’re not teaching that, they’re not teaching salvation truth. Once they’re taught it, it goes on.

Scripture says to be shepherd to your flock. What does that mean? That means teach them what? A scripture. The first thing that the scripture says after salvation is to be sanctified in Jesus Christ. Okay, what are they teaching about sanctification? If they don’t have those two fundamental elements in biblical scripture taken care of in the pulpit, that church is not following scripture. You’re at the wrong church. And I completely agree with you because I’ve attended different church churches. Most of them are independent. They’re not part of that national structure or whatever. And, and, and the two that I primarily go to right now are Bible based.

But one of them that I actually met Friday night, the minister, the pastor that my children grew up with, who since retired, and I had a conversation with him, and the whole, whole structure of that particular church has changed. He did talk about, you know, building that life of sanctification. And the current church does not. I mean, they’re still Bible based. They still talk about scripture and they talk about discipleship. But in a sense, the discipleship is going out to try to save more people rather than addressing the needs of those that are already saved. So that’s Norma Jean.

Let’s just walk through that. If a church that saves people. This goes back to today’s lesson. If the church who saves people does not teach them the next step up, then what they’re doing is they’re saved but living in the world. And therefore they don’t have the power to do what the church is asking them to do. Exactly. All right, so you guys who participate in churches, that’s fine. Just make sure that you understand there’s only one church. There’s no religion in scripture, and the scripture is profoundly ritual. I mean, not ritual, but rigid in the process of the teaching of the scripture and sensationalism.

All of those things are not part of it. Yeah, they had song in the church and so forth and so on back in the ancient times. But now you have A stage performance that sensationalizes your emotions instead of focusing on the truth of Scripture and allow the Holy Spirit to do its job. Enough said about that. Okay. You get where I’m coming from and you get the truth. It’s yours to make sure that the truth is identified as the truth. Not mine, yours. Don, are you going to say something? Yeah, I’ll keep it brief. It just keeps coming back to me over and over how Christ said, and he’s our model and he’s.

He’s the one we’re looking to, for how to live this life, be in this world, not sitting on your couch, not in some club, some religious club, which, you know, some churches are using that same. Our church is better than your church. So it’s being in the world, but not of it. So then we are his light and we’re shining without saying a word. And I totally agree with you the whole, don’t say anything until the Holy Spirit takes over. You know, I come from a background where pride, like I was a scrapper and I ended up, you know, being a system wide supervisor at Alaska Airlines.

And I was, I had to fight against the unions and with the unions and against management and with management, I got caught up in that. So I’ve got this prideful self. So it’s really important for me to know God is gonna mold me, he’s gonna use me, my personality, but I’m gonna have a propensity to be prideful, to be right, to not read the room, to think I have something to say. When really Holy Spirit would rather me be quiet and know that he is Lord. I think talk about the ultimate reader of any room. Holy Spirit knows everybody’s story.

He knows everybody’s next step. So if I get in any kind of opinion about how anything should go or how this is right or that is wrong, I could be losing the most powerful thing that I have as a tool, which is just surrender and let him speak. Yeah. So thank you. This, I, for some reason, Jim, for at least two and a half years, I’ve been letting Satan get in the back door with, you’re not really saved. If you were saved, you’d have this perfect life. That looked really good. So the recent, the recent lessons have just been so important to like help me slam that door.

Like, are you kidding me? My 7 year old running down that aisle, absolutely filled to the brim with, oh, I’m a sinner and I need God was as good as it gets. And then I failed to do the next step, which is Sanctification and I belonged to churches that weren’t a part of that biblical foundation that’s required for us to be so to be God’s children and to be of use for him. So, yeah, right in there with Norma Jean. It’s just like it’s all coming together, able to see it. And I’m really looking for, anytime I’m doing club like, oh, Muslims are, are bad.

And what God is really revealing to me is if, if they take, if a Muslim is into the Tehran and reading it and believing it, they will kill me. Maybe that’s just how it’s going to go. But there’s all sorts of Muslims along the way and I’m kind of feeling like I might be being led to really understand how to confront some of those flaws in, in that man made religion. So I think it’s more about really getting. God wants every soul on this planet. He longs for every soul. So I just can never afford to go along some stereotypical line and live in this kind of righteous hatred.

Yeah. Thank you. You’re welcome. But guys, I want to go on purpose with you here a moment. Islam was created for militant religion. Islam was created by the Catholic Church to go, to go against the, the Jews when Jesus came onto the scene because they needed a way to combat the Jews without the church doing it themselves. So they needed a front group that was Islam. So the basis of Islam’s religion is militant. This is discernment, guys. It’s militant. When you look at how you deal with the militant religion, it doesn’t say. The Bible says love your enemies, okay? Pray for them.

But just like what Nehemiah had to do when he was given the ability to go rebuild Jerusalem, they had to stand watch with swords to protect them from just what is islan today. Don’t go in with an attitude that everything’s going to be okay. Now, Nehemiah is your example. Nehemiah prayed for his enemies. Nehemiah said, okay, as long as you don’t, you know, attack us. You’re around us. We, we see that, we’ll talk to you, engage with you. But, but we are on the guard. We’re on the guard of protection. You need to do the same.

Okay. You need to do the same. Anything else, guys? Sure. All right, let’s pray. Father, thank you for this morning. Thank you again for getting the family into your word. It’s, it’s. You know what? Every time we do this, it’s we. The Holy Spirit is present and we feel it and we learn all kinds of new things. I’m probably fired. This is going to be one of those things that I go back and listen to, because as I was opening my mouth and allowing you to speak, there are things that have come out of it that I just need to hear again.

Father, thank you so much for your love. Thank you so much for what you do to us, with us and for us, the blessings that you give us. And most of all, thank you for. For giving your son. As you know, as you knew that was the. Before this physical world was ever created, you knew that was the only vehicle that would give us the justification to go back home. And we want to thank you for it. We want to thank you that we live in a time and age that we can actually worship you, come to knowledge of you, gain wisdom from you, see your revelation, and participate in the recreation of this worldly power, Civil, civil obedience and the Revelation and the revival of hearts for you.

Father, we know that this is biblical. It’s already been. It’s already coming out that way. Way. Okay, we see it, we now begin to understand it, and we ask that you just basically continue to reveal the truth and how to reveal the truth of your great activities. And, Father, we just want to give you praise and glory for that. Be with us as we go through this next week. As we’re getting into crescendoing of the activities leading up to the final battle, the fight, the final stage, the final actions, before we actually begin to see the remnant that you’ve already given to us, I want to thank you for that as well.

We ask you, you to heal those that still need to be healed. Give the strength to those who are in debilitation. And, Father, just make sure that we’re protected in all ways. Ask all these things in my son’s name.
