Hey, aloha, everyone. Michelle Melendez with BlossomInnerWellness.com and StandTogetherHabai.com I’m here with my amazing friend, Samantha Starkey. She is, she owns a Starkey farm, Homestead, which I was actually checking it out and it’s fantastic. But also I love, I love that farm. It’s, it, it’s absolutely beautiful. And I love that you guys, you sell the produce there and the products that you, that you grow. That’s fantastic. What we’re going to be talking about today, you guys, is her new book. And this book is amazing. It’s called Growing Under a Poisoned Sky. And I’m just going to do a quick screen share so I can show you guys.

You guys can get this book on Amazon. Super amazing, because this is exactly, I mean, right up my alley as well. So as more people begin to notice the changes in our skies, which we all have been talking about many times, many are becoming increasingly concerned about how to grow clean, organic food in a chemically altered environment. Yes. Very, very big issue. And I’m excited to talk with you about this book. You guys again, can get this on Amazon. It’s already available. Samantha, congratulations for one, completing it and getting it out there. And tell us, what would you like to share about, about what’s going on in our skies, how you wrote this book, and also how can people grow clean food.

Yeah. So thank you so much for having me. It means so much because. Okay, so it kind of started. It’s like birthing pains. Like, you know, you get this idea, the Lord just like, okay, you need to do this and you start putting your energy. But it’s like giving birth. And I had the knowledge here, but I have never. Sorry, guys. I should have turned my phone off. I’m so sorry. I have never been great at writing. I’m not gonna lie. I’m good at talking, never great at writing. So I co authored with a beautiful soul, Leslie Brant Olson.

And she was like, you write it, I’ll edit it. I’ll put your thoughts into book form for you. And I was so thankful for her because the concept is so cool. The way we broke it up, it’s. It’s two books in one. We’re going to tell you the problems that we’re facing. We’re going to talk about the chemicals, the stratospheric aerosol spraying, which some people refer to as chemtrails, but correct terminology is stratospheric aerosol injection. We’re going to talk about the reflecting of the sunlight, like, what is that doing to us as humans not to have the benefit of the healthy rays of the sun.

Just the heat, you know, we’re just getting the heat, we’re not getting the health benefits. We talk about how what goes up must come down. And now after 40 to 60 years of showing you patents and proof that it’s happening, we are now reaping this toxic mess. It’s in our water, it’s in our soil, it’s our bodies have absorbed it, our animals are absorbing it, our food is absorbing it. So the second half of the book are solutions. How, how do you clean your soil and do it affordably? I think most of us understand that, yes, you can, you know, get an entire truck bed of dirt delivered for several hundred dollars.

But for the ones of us who want to do it more naturally, more organically, we want sweat equity and not our bank account to go broke. We actually show you what plants remove, what toxins, what metals, how to incorporate earthworms, how to mulch. And it’s so cool. It’s such a great book. I’m so thankful that God led me to Maui because it’s so, it’s so cool that I’m here with you. This whole book started because of Maui being there, you know, seeing the devastation in September 2023, going back in October of 2023, and then again for the one year paddle out getting to meet you, you know, meeting Paul with Maui Investigates, being boots on the ground.

I realized that it’s so much bigger than just what they’re putting in the skies. It’s what they’re doing with haarp, but they’re doing with darpa, what they’re doing with all of these, you know, frequencies that they’re bombarding our bodies with. And now that we’ve absorbed all these metallic toxins and heavy metals, it’s affecting us so bad. So it’s kind of a multifaceted thing. I tried to make sure, Michelle, that the book was on a level that anybody could pick it up anywhere from high schoolers all the way to your 90 year old grandmother. Read it in one afternoon and be like, now I can sit down and discuss this topic with anybody because I have all the basic knowledge, I understand why it was done, who did it and how I can fix it.

So I felt like we kind of covered all the bases as quick as possible. Love it. So let’s start with the. You said, I love it. You said aerosol injection because let’s talk about the chemtrails I know that there’s a lot of information on the geoengineering.org site with Dan Wilson. Actually interviewed him a few months back, and. But this is what’s going on. A lot of times, people there, I’ve had clients before, many years ago, actually. You know, those are just contrails. But that contrail doesn’t stay in the sky. You know, it doesn’t expand in the sky.

So tell us a little bit more. What have been your research on the chemtrails? Well, what Leslie and I did was we pointed out the most obvious chemicals that they use. And what a lot of people don’t understand, when we say stratospheric, we’re talking about in the stratosphere, which is. Right. Like, it’s up like 8,000ft or so. So it’s a bit higher than what you would expect. And they will stay there. Most chemicals, whatever it is that is sprayed in that area will stay anywhere from two to five years, depending on the weight and weather, you know, and that kind of stuff.

But eventually it begins to trickle down, and then they have to reapply it. And what she and I noticed was one of their favorite things that they spray up there is a form of salt. So when we were kind of doing our research, we found in the Bible, like in Judges 9:45, where God told them to basically so salt across the entire area after the battle. And so what this I’m sure read a little bit for you, but it says the same thing happened in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. But in this case, God himself salted the earth through the fire and hailstones he sent to destroy the two cities in Genesis 19.

Now, thousands of years later, there is archaeological evidence suggesting that this destruction was caused by something like a nuclear explosion, which left elements of salt. So when you think about the fact that they’re going up into the sky and they’re systematically spraying us with different forms of salt, then you go out to your garden, and every year you’re noticing that the pest attacks are worse, the plants are weaker. Like, the soil is not absorbing the water like it’s supposed to be. All of that. Guys, every bit of that is because there’s too much salt in the earth.

Like, they’re pulling it up, dropping it in the air, and dropping it on us. If you live in coastal areas, Maui being one of them, you know that when you get a tsunami or a really high influx of marsh water, salty water, brackish, or you may get salt water around, you know, plants that aren’t used to it. It kills the roots, it kills all the good biological things going on in the soil. And that’s what’s happening when it’s raining. Your rain is changing, too. It’s too much salt. So we go on and we kind of break it down for you guys, because what I think a lot of people don’t understand are the metals that they’re spraying into the upper atmosphere.

It’s those metals that when they come down and they get in the soil, your plants absorb them. You are what you eat, and then you’re walking barefoot. If you’re like me, you’re out there trying to ground yourself, you know, and you’re, like, rubbing the ground and you’re just enjoying nature without realizing that there’s aluminum and barium and these really bad heavy metals that aren’t supposed to be there, coming in contact with our skin. Think about how many people talk to you about skin issues now, you know, and your pets, right? I’ve had so many people reach out to me, and they’re like, my animals have the weirdest skin issues.

It is because of the toxins that are coming down on us. Yeah, absolutely. And I just want to. Again, I’m going to just show your book again because I. I love the COVID I love the name Growing under a Poison Sky. You guys, it’s on Amazon. Pick it up. Because it’s, It’s. I think it’s really important, especially if you’re a farmer. You know, here in Hawaii, we’ve been having, you know, rust on our coffee trees. We have a new beetle in the coffees. We have all that we haven’t. We have a. An avocado issue where this one friend of mine has three avocados, and he said, michelle, I saw a to tons of babies, and then the next day they were gone.

So it’s like we’re having. We’re having some major issues. Another farmer friend of mine is three acres. He said, you know, his wife was talking to me and she said, we used to be able to grow so much food, we’d have to just give it away because we had so much. Now we can barely have enough for ourselves. So. So what are some of the solutions that are in this book that can help clean up the soil? Because you’re right, once these chemtrails come down with these heavy metals, aluminum, strontium, borium, all of these, you know, they do get in the soil, they do get in the plants, then they get into us and they compromise the integrity of the plant.

And that’s a huge, huge thing. And there are natural things that people can actually use to clean up the soil. And I love that you put this in a book. Growing under a Poison sky, that’s the brilliant name, because that’s exactly what it. Yeah, the sunflower. That is literally why we chose the sunflower. Because I started noticing about two years ago, sunflowers were no longer tracking the sun. So if you’ve ever grown a sunflower, we call them that because in the morning they raise those big beautiful heads and they track the sun until the sun goes down, and then they droop no more.

Your sunflower will be pointing. You can. You can plant 100 varieties. They will all be facing different directions. Now, why that is, that is completely against the entire genetic makeup of a sunflower. They track the sun from rising to setting. All day, they just gently turn to the sun. That’s not happening anymore. So that leads me to believe that the sun that they need, what they’re looking for, is no longer able to come through this chemical cloud that has been created in the stratospatosphere. Actually think of it kind of like a metallic ball around the earth that they’ve created.

They have trapped the goodness of the sun out, but trapped the heat in. So then when you start to think of it like that, it’s almost mind blowing. But there are plants. So through the research for this book, we realized that hibiscus. Hibiscus is a powerhouse. Guys, when you’re talking like bioremediation, hibiscus pulls so many toxins from the soil, and then you can still enjoy the hibiscus plant for tea without becoming sick. Like it is in itself an amazing plant. But it’s not just hibiscus. It’s. It’s sunflowers. Then when you get to cover crops like your clovers, those things are.

That will only. Will they clean your soil, but they put the right nutrients back in your soil. So it’s just kind of knowing what’s going on where you are. Now. The cool thing about Hawaii. Not cool, but something I put in the book is I reference all the sugar cane plantations that, you know, came in the late 1800s and 1900s to Maui. And there are places in Hawaii that even now, before they allow people to build, they have to test the soil because they are looking for arsenic. Because even though they haven’t been there in 40 years, the arsenic is so built up in the soil, it’s toxic to even breathe that soil.

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, yeah. There’s Actually, there’s actually a place in Hilo where the, the river comes down and the sediment in the ground in the, in the, in the, in the river is actually, you don’t. Nobody swims there because of the arsenic that’s in the. So in the, in, in the, under the, under the river. The river soil or whatever it’s called. So. Yeah. So hibiscus. That’s amazing. And there, what’s. What’s really amazing about this world is that there are like, there’s things to clean up the toxins. Like she can actually. It’s like our bodies, it’s like if we get the right stuff.

And that’s why I always do detoxes all the time, because if we clean out and then put the right stuff in the body is a miracle. It’s amazing. It can heal itself. And that’s the. Our bodies are part of the earth. So I love that you’re sharing this. I have a question about the sun because I remember growing up and the sun was yellow. Yes. White. Is it white because of this metallic cloud? A friend of mine was talking about the solar system and that things are changing and the sun is changing, definitely bringing in different.

Different things like earthquakes and different stuff. But what, what is your research on the sun? Honestly, from what I’ve seen so, so far that can be scientifically proven, they have already put so much, so many tons of. Excuse me, for the past 80 years in the stratosphere. Like, like I said, most of that has probably come down. What I’m concerned is what they’ve done above that that you and I may not be privy to, because we know a lot of things that deal with like DARPA are still underneath the military’s umbrella of. This is classified information.

So how many times have they sent things up into the air and dispersed it higher than a stratosphere that you and I are unaware of? Because when you look at the sun, I think if we could get above the levels of toxins and chemicals that are floating that hazy look to the sky. I think if we could get above that, we might. Would see the sun, would remember. But. And it’s funny you said that when I taught kindergarten in first grade, children drew the sun a big yellow ball, sometimes a little orangey or a little red in there, but it was always this yellowish orange ball.

And I remember my godchild was here last year. I’m sorry, I like this sun back here. Yeah. Yes, yes. Really quick because I was paddling last night and this sun sunset, it was red. It was Red, like the red on the Japanese flag and it was eerie. So. Yeah, it is. Yeah. So this is a, this is actually picture from my sis, from where my sister used to live. So. Yeah. And, and you know, even the Bible talks about that, how the sun and the moon and the stars are going to change when we get closer to end times.

You know, it’s weird because I’m seeing how the food is failing. So you did mention, like we grow food, we used to sell it, we now basically give it to free. Because in the community I live in, we’re a food desert. There, there’s nowhere to get clean, healthy food. It’s almost a 40 minute drive either direction. Right. So we’ve gotten to where whatever we grow, we just get back to the community and other people so into that and it’s this beautiful little system of give and everybody’s taken care of. The thing that, that just concerns me the most is when I watch how people grow their food with like chemical, like at the adding of chemicals to grow food because they’re afraid if they don’t, their food won’t grow.

My thing is this. Don’t add any type of insecticides, pesticides, fungicides to your plants, folks. If your plants come out the ground and they die, it is a soil issue, it’s not a plant issue. Now you can temporarily give fertilization to your plants, but 90% of commercial fertilizers are leftover chemicals from World War II. They’re toxic, like so toxic. And that, that is not the kind of food if you think my. Okay, my parents are 83. Right. They look like they’re in their 70s. Why is that? Because they ate food before the advent of modern agriculture.

They ate real food? Yes, real food. And their bodies grew on that. And now that they’re older, I look at them and I think my generation probably will not live that long because we’ve been so, you know, toxified. And then I look at children with autism and that’s what I did before. I do, what I do now is I worked with special needs kids. And I’m telling you, Michelle, in 1993, autism was a whisper. Yeah, it was a whisper. They didn’t even have a name for it. It’s not, it’s not been around that long and yet it’s something like one out of every ten kids is now on the autism spectrum to some degree.

Like, what is that? Where is that coming from? I believe it’s coming from the toxins. All of them. The ones, you know, all of them from all the different places. I can’t really say it because I’ll kick you off, but you know what I’m saying. Yeah, that one and that up there. So it’s all connected. But food can heal. Good food can heal your body. It’ll heal your soul. You know, so. But I do appreciate you so much for letting us do this because we’re so excited about getting this information out to people. Well, it’s so important.

It’s so important. You know, I live on a farm. I live on a coffee farm. And I see, I’ve seen, you know, the different issues that are that farmers are having these days compared to what they used to have. My sister’s been on the island big. I live on the big island of Hawaii, and she’s been here for 30 years. I’ve been here almost every single year. Then I moved here January 2019. And I’ve seen such a huge difference in the farms and what they need to do to grow their food, to grow food and to keep it clean.

So let’s talk a little bit more about the soil because that is the first. That’s the first kind of where you got to start is you have to have clean soil. So how else can people can farmers actually start to really clean up their soil so that they can really have a good starting foundation to grow healthy plants? Okay, so there are different, like I said, the different plants you can use, like if you plant something called Indian mustard, it will actually remove metals like lead, zinc, cadmium and nickel. It’ll absorb it. Right. Sunflowers, you can use willows.

Even hybrid willow trees are very good, what they call photo remediation. So you can do that. You can also do something called biore remediation, which is where you’re utilizing microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi to degrade and transform heavy metals into less toxic forms. So that is just what I tell people. It’s like I use a combination. And I know this is going to sound gross, but I raise rabbits. And that’s the only manure that I use in my garden because it’s cold and it’s just so full of nutrition. But I take something called biochar that I make on my property and then I soak it in rabbit urine and then I put that around the base of my plants.

So when you’re that what that does is all that does is it goes. It soaks into the soil and it begins to strengthen the fungi as well as bacteria that are present. And when those numbers when your bacteria numbers go up and your fungi numbers go up, they themselves will break down toxins. But most people don’t have soil. They have dirt. And dirt is dead. And the reason it’s dead. Let me ask you this. If you want to get rid of bacteria or even fungi, one of the first things that you can do is expose it to high heat or to direct sunlight.

If you know basic science, you know that what I just said is true. Both heat and sunlight will destroy fungi as well as bacteria. So I want you to imagine soil that has been tilled and left completely bare to the sun. There’s nothing alive in that because the sun has dried it out and killed everything that’s living in the first three to six inches. So one of the ways that we tell people, if you want to save your soil or you want to transform dead dirt into living soil, it has to be damp, it or moisture, and it has to be dark.

So what you do is you cover it. You cover it either with mustard seeds and clover, and you let that grow up and it protects the soil and you plant into that, or you cover it in heavy mulch. And when you want to put your plants or your seed, you back up the heavy mulch, plant what you want there, and then bring the mulch back around the base of the plant. Either way, if you do that, your bacteria and fungi are going to go crazy underneath that mulch. Your soil is going to come back to life, and it’s naturally going to cleanse itself, and you can sit back and let your soil take care of itself.

You know, I love that you talked about bacteria, because people are taking this hand sanitizer, antibacterial when they don’t understand how important bacteria is, not just in the soil, but in your body. You actually, we have more bacteria on our skin and inside of our body than we do cells. And it’s meant to keep us healthy. So it is extremely crucial for good health, not just in the body, but obviously in the soil as well. And I love that you brought fungi, because that is the mycelium. I think it’s called mycelium. Let’s talk a little bit about fungi, because that’s actually really important, like so much more important than people understand for good healthy soil and good healthy bodies and ourselves.

So talk a little bit about more about fungi. So one of the things I noticed was I got interested in growing food and I realized, like, I was standing there and I was looking at my yard and I’m like, I don’t have a Tiller. And I called my dad and I said, dad, I want to put a garden. This is right in the middle of COVID so. But I don’t have a tiller. He goes, teal, what was that? Have you ever seen me do that? I went, no. How do you grow food? So he came over and he showed me how to, literally, he said, cut your grass where you want to put your garden.

Cut your grass as low as you can get it. So I did. He said, now rake all the cut grass into the center back on spot. And so I did. He would go out there with a whole bunch of cardboard. We soak the cardboard wet, we place it on the ground, and we cover it with wheelbarrows of leaves. I’m talking this is probably a ten by ten spot where we must have filled it with like eight or nine wheelbarrows of leaves. He goes, now wet the leaves down. So I wet the leaves down. I’m all excited.

He goes, now leave it for about three weeks. And then plant. What I noticed was almost immediately underneath that cardboard, fungi started popping up. So what my dad was doing, without giving me all the science behind it, was creating the exact environment that fungi need. So I think of fungi like little brains. They are the warning system. They are the, the feelings. They’re the emotions of the soil. If you want to look at it like that. They’re the nervous system. And when you have dark, damp, covered soil, the fungi create all these little connections. And they’ll tell the plant you’re hungry.

They’ll tell the plant you’re being attacked by pests. Let me help you out here. And by the fungi underneath the soil, wrapping around the roots of your plant, they will protect your plant. Now the bacteria feed your plant. That’s so cool. People don’t realize this. It’s why I do not use any commercialized products. I don’t need commercial fertilizer because the bacteria in my soil feed the plants. So as they’re breaking down sugars and all this cool stuff, the roots are just eating all this poop, I guess, from the bacteria. I’m not even sure what it is.

But then the fungi are like, okay, that’s enough. And the bacteria stop. And when you have healthy soil, the fungi and the bacteria are one to one. When I started farming, they came and did a soil test. I had like 20,000 bacteria to every one fungi. Once we covered that soil year after year with COVID crops and organic hays and we just kept planting. And we would go out there with biochar and rabbit manure and just keep layering the soil. I think the last one I had on my third year doing that, it was more like 5,000 bacteria to one.

Fungi, your goal is one to one and it normally takes about five years to get there. Wow. Wow, that’s amazing. It is. And if you go into the forest, I guarantee you it’s very close to one to one. Yep. Because that’s, that’s where they grow also just by themselves on their own. Like we were, I was, my last farm, I was at, you know, I did put the cardboard down and we had the mulch and then I noticed that, that the, the fungi was growing there and I thought, oh my gosh, that’s. They love it. Just knows what to do, which is amazing.

So you, you know, again, these man made products with the chemicals and stuff, you know, when nature actually is the key, going back to what’s natural and, and helping it out by doing the mulch and doing the cardboard and whatnot, things like that. That’s amazing. And I just want to just remind people and if again, you guys are listening on the Voice of Kona radio or on Sovereign Radio, this book is on Amazon right now. Growing Under a Poisoned Skin Sky. And we’re talking with Samantha Wood Starkey of the Starkey Homestead Farm. Homestead. And she’s just a wealth of information here and super excited about your book.

I know it’s going to be very successful because so many people need this information right now. You know, where the farmers are really doing the best that they can to try and grow, keep growing food in this chemical environment. And I love that you’re giving them cheap solutions. You don’t have to go to the store and pick up man made chemicals, fertilizers and things like that. And I loved what you said about fertilizer as well, because that is true and a lot of people don’t understand that. Can you talk a little bit more about the fertilizers that people get in the stores? Yeah.

So, okay, most people, when you think of fertilization, you think of the big three npk. So nitrogen, potassium, calcium, that’s. That is what you think of. Or phosphorus, sorry, that’s what you think of. That’s what you think your plant needs. But it’s so much more than that. So when you use a chemical fertilizer, about 30% of that is actually uptaken by your plants. The other 70% is going to be washed off into the ditches and the roads. And if you look right now, it’s August So it’s extremely hot in south Louisiana. But if you will look at the algae bloom that goes from Texas all the way to Mississippi from the mouth of the.

Where it pours out by New Orleans. That is all nitrogen overflow from the forms along the Mississippi all the way up through America. So it’s actually extremely toxic to the water. The second thing people don’t understand about your plant is your plants can only take up so much of any one chemical without killing the plant. So you go out there and you’re like, oh, I need to fertilize my tomatoes. And you put this, you know, 30, 30, 30, or October 10, triple 10, whatever, around your plant, and then you notice that your plant grows a little bit, then it starts looking weak.

It’s because you. It’s called vitamin toxicity. The same thing happens in dogs when you feed them the exact same kind of dog food day in, day out. They have kidney failure, liver failure. Your vet’s not going to tell you what it is. It’s vitamin toxicity because you’ve been giving them vitamin A at 800 milligrams every day of their life when they only needed 10 milligrams. So it’s this. It says, like, over. It’s too much. So when you’re using something like rabbit manure, which is. I’m not going to joke, y’. All, it has more nutrients than cow manure, rabbit manure, goat manure.

Me, I free range my chickens right through the middle of my garden. And they go in, they turn everything up. They. They do their little feet, they poop on the spot, they eat all the bugs. I wait a few weeks, and then I lay some hay down and I replant. You can really hurt your soil with these commercial fertilizers. First, if you would just take the time to vet what I’m telling you. Where did commercial fertilization come from? Well, at the end of World War II, they had way too many chemicals left over. Tons and tons, thousands of hundreds of tons.

They didn’t know what to do with it. And somebody said, hey, this has a lot of nitrogen in it, so let’s just bag it. And that’s anhydrous, right? So. And that’s what they did. And then because they realized that these fertilizers were burning the soil, they began to genetically modify the seeds to withstand the fertilizers. It’s the same thing with that GMO corn that people use that can withstand that herbicide that makes everybody so sick. So I want you to think about that. When they have to recreate the plants to grow in that environment, we’ve got a problem.

Like, would it just be easier to stop? And if you have a grow house, like, if you’re somebody that grows inside of a high tunnel and you’re using commercial fertilizers, you need to about every six months, soak the inside of your grow house. The water needs to get about 8 inches into the soil for a good 45 minutes. We’re talking thousands of gallons of water because it leaves behind something called salt. Now, it’s not the same salt they’re dropping from the sky, but it is a buildup of toxic chemicals that your plants can’t break down or absorb.

So, yeah, it is a catch 22. It’s like going to the doctor, you know, and you take an antibiotic because you have a cold, but now you’re going to need a yeast medication because you have a yeast infection or you have thrush. You know, it’s like this constant. You just have to stop. You have to stop. Let this. Let the soil just be bare for a minute. Start covering the soil. Plant what you want. And then when you notice something’s not growing, understand, it’s not the plant, it is the soil. The plant wants to grow. That’s what it was designed to do.

It’s not going to grow and then die for the fun of it. So if that’s happening, you have a soil issue. So, yeah, that’s what we’re going through here. My garden did amazing till mid July, and then the rains came. And there must have been something in the rain because I have the worst case of mildews and molds, and it killed the plants from the roots up. I just pulled everything burnt. It burnt everything. Yeah, you don’t compost disease. You can’t compost that out. So I burn it. I create it into biochar. Oh, my gosh. So you’re saying that you had a healthy garden and then a lot of the rains came and something must have been in this.

In the. In the rain, and it burned your plants. Yeah, my dad’s garden, too. Both of us are very organic. Like, we don’t. We don’t even have any. Any type of chemicals on our properties. Like, we. We use things like Epsom salt, Borax, and, like, we’re using, like, the natural things that come out of the soil to heal the soil. Like, we’re real big on that. We make our own calcium like I make my own potassium. I make all my own stuff here on the farm. Using what’s already here, plants and animals. I use their byproducts.

But when I have disease, plants, Michelle, I pull them roots up. I pull as much of the root out of the soil as I can. I do not compost that because I’m not quite sure what that disease is. I don’t know if it needs to get to a certain, you know, temperature to kill it. I don’t know if it’s bacterial. I don’t know if it’s fungal. I don’t know if it’s nematodes. So what I do is I put it in the biotor pits and I create biochar from it. And then I can catch the nutrients and put them back in the soil without accidentally putting something in the soil that’s going to haunt me for many years.

So burning it kills the toxin? Yeah, biochar will kill it because biochar is creating. It’s similar to charcoal, but it’s in the absence of oxygen. So when you burn with a biochar pit, the temperatures are like 1600 degrees. It’s tremendous, but it burns it very quick down to small pieces. It looks like charcoal, but it’s not. It’s just. It’s amazing. I have yet to go watch the videos or. It’s so cool. Biochar is fun, but you can literally put any form of organic material in biochar. And if you’re somebody who’s off grid and you want to use, like, your dog’s manure or your manure, I don’t do that because I give my food away and that’s actually breaks.

You know, the usda, nrcs, all that, the health, you cannot. You cannot. But if you’re just growing for yourself and you want to recycle byproducts from your animals or yourself, a biochar pit is the way to go. Okay, so you’re saying you can’t use your dog’s feces, but you could use your, Your. Your rabbits and your chickens? Yes, within reason. So there are rules, like if you’re going to sell or give out produce when you lay manure down, we have to do that and be able to prove that it was within so many, like, months before the plant produced its fruit.

So if I’m going to fertilize, like, say, my tomato plants when they’re flowering, I’m. Okay. Once the tomato starts coming out, I then have to go with something like worm tea. You know, I can’t put fresh manure at the base of the plant if I’m Going to sell that produce there. Oh yeah. The government makes it almost impossible to be an organic grower at this stage with the hoops that we have to jump through. But that commercial, you know, huge 2,000 acre monocrop forms do not have to jump through the same hoops. That’s all, that’s all by design.

We know that. But what’s really amazing right now, I mean this is the time of awakening and so much truth is coming out. I really feel, I mean it’s, it’s going to be quite the journey to, to get things to turn around in our favor. But, but I feel that definitely with people like you and with the divine creator, this is a game that we came to play. And this is our Kuleana, Our what’s, what is ours to do. So, Samantha, again, I do want to share your book one more time and then any last comments? Comments? This is amazing.

Growing under a Poison Sky. You guys get it on Amazon, it’s on Kindle, the paperback. And if you are a farmer, this is a definite book that you’re going to want to get. If you’re interested in growing I, which I am totally growing my own food, definitely check out this book, Growing Under a Poison sky and Samantha Starkey. Any last things you want to share? Yeah, I know that, you know that I, I kind of do like the carnivore. I eat vegetables, but I’m in a meat. Just let me really encourage anybody that still eats meat.

Please get this book and read the section on cathode systems. If we’re gonna, if we’re gonna continue to be meat eaters on this earth, then we have to do better with the animals that the Lord gave us. The system that is, is right now is cruel. It’s inhumane. The animals, their cortisol levels are through the roof. And I do believe that is why we’re seeing so much disease in our, in our meat eaters. Whether you choose to be vegetarian, carnivore, somewhere in between, I, I will never judge because I think it’s everybody’s free choice. But I do believe that if we are going to continue to eat meat that I don’t understand how we can think as a mammal species that our children are going to be healthy when we are basically tormenting animals in cages for cheap meats.

And I think as sentient beings and, and children of the most high king, the creator of the universe, he’s not going to be happy about that. And there are ways to change it, very easy ways. But you know, I really Want people to pay attention to that. Those couple of pages I do on the cathode systems because that, that is a book in itself. But it’s got to change. We cannot continue to do it that way. 100% agree with you. I actually went to a, it was a meditation, a 10 day meditation and you know, just vegan food at that point and came out of that and I went to try to eat meat and I actually felt nauseous.

It was like so weird. And I had not planned to not eat meat again. And now I’m a pescatarian. I’ll eat fish, I will eat eggs once I know where the, for the farm where they’re coming, right? But I like chicken. I just can’t do it. And I, and I cannot either. I didn’t even decide. I was not like. It wasn’t a decision. It was like my body’s like, no. So because you’re in tunes, you’re in tuned, Michelle. And it’s like. And I am not, folks. I come from the most redneck hunting family in the world.

But I am telling you that if you, you, if you can’t go to a grocery store and buy a pound of beef and go home and the smell it makes when you’re cooking, it doesn’t make you nauseous. I need you to see a doctor. I now have to purchase my beef that I intake from a local slaughterhouse where the cows are locally grown in fields, raised in fields who are not under stress. Because if you try to give me Walmart meat, ask my husband, I can’t cook it. I cannot, I can smell, I can smell it, the cortisol.

I can smell the high levels of fear and I cannot ingest that. It literally physically makes me ill. So I think a lot of people or turning away from meat, but you didn’t know why. It’s because the way the meat is being raised is the I tell people frequencies have everything to do with it. And these animals frequencies are off when they’re slaughtered and therefore the meat is tainted. Your body knows it. It’s why it’s revolting. So if you want to be able to continue to eat meat, you need to work with somebody that grows or raises that type of animal and be part of the upbringing.

Like be a responsible meat eater. Just like I will not eat vegetables that are not organic. You’re not giving me gmo. My body can’t stand it. You know, like I know the difference. As soon as I take a bite, I’m like, oh no, I can’t eat like that anymore. So I just hope that helps some people. If you’re having some food allergies, you didn’t know where they came from. It’s either the toxins that they’re giving the animals to keep them on their feet, or it’s the cortisol levels in the animals before they butcher them and your body’s rejecting it.

That’s what it is. Absolutely. And what people don’t understand is that when they’re, when they’re looking at labels and they look at things like natural flavors, that’s just a label. That doesn’t mean anything. It just is a label. And they actually can put. Pus can be a natural flavor. So it’s like they don’t. The natural flavor has so many things under that definition. I know. Yeah. And free range. If you understood what they do at free range, that still means that they’re caught up in a building. They’re just not in a cage. They’re still in a building.

Just not in a cage. Y’, all, my chickens are running all over my yard right now. I cannot even imagine a chicken in a building. Like, what is that? So I can’t eat eggs away from my house anymore. I don’t care what they say they are. I just know when I, I, I can’t do it. I can’t. I can’t do it. Yeah. And it’s. And you’re right about frequency, too. You know, I teach, and that’s why I do the visualizations that I do at the end of all my shows, because it’s, it’s a frequency. When we actually get into a frequency of knowing that this world is a better place, of knowing that our food is clean and we can feel the frequency in our body that goes out into the field because our emotional frequency is connected to this empty space frequency field, which, which is not empty.

So I love that you’re doing this. You wrote an amazing book. I can’t wait to get my copy. And again, you guys, if you’re listening on the radio, it’s on Amazon. Growing Under a Poisoned Sky Samantha Wood Starkey, author. And Leslie Branded Olson, author as well. Growing Under a Poison Sky. Kindle or paperback, right On Amazon, if you are a farmer. Definitely need to get this book. Absolutely. And Samantha, thank you so much for joining me today. And let’s do a quick vis visualization, calling in what we want. Amen. I’m good with that. Infinite Creator of all things.

We just give so much gratitude to Samantha and this amazing book that she wrote and her the inspiration that you gave her to write this book and get it out into the world, because that really is a journey in itself, Great Spirit. And we just know that all the people that are inspired to learn more, to grow their food in an organic way that raises their emotional frequency, that returns them to what is natural under the earth. Great Spirit, we just know giving so much gratitude for this journey of watching the movie that you put us all in.

And we get to watch as this world becomes a place, as the earth is healed. We get to watch as the soil is replenished and growing and thriving with amazing fungus and bacteria and worms. We get to watch as our plants grow and thrive under a beautiful clean sky. We call forth the clean sky. We call forth the clean water. We call forth the clean soil. And Great Spirit, we know it is done. And. And we bind anybody who does not value that, who does not value human life, who does not value clean soil, clean air, clean water, clean food.

We bind them from doing any more harm on the planet. We bind them with the Christ consciousness of unconditional love. Because we have. Uncle. We are unconditionally loved right now, Great Spirit. And we call forth that power to bind anybody who does not value human life, who does not value the Earth, the aina. We bind them. We. Or we turn their hearts, their hearts are turned toward doing what is right. Not what is easy, but what is right for the planet and what is right for all people. Great Spirit, we know that this world is becoming a better place because we see it and we feel it and in our hearts.

And we know that it starts from there, Great Spirit, that frequency of love we send out to ourselves, to our family, to our friends, to our neighbors. And we, like the wave of the ocean, goes out to wrap around the earth, touching anybody right now who feels alone, anybody right now whose home was attacked by the fires or by floods. The spark that things can be better. The spark that they’re not alone. The spark that we are in this together and they are not forgotten. Great Spirit, we call forth the frequency that all sentient beings are treated with respect, are honored, are thriving in wherever that they’re at.

And that farmers who are harming animals right now, that their hearts, their hearts be turned to again doing what is right. What is pono for the animal, for the sentient being that is there, Great Spirit, because that sentient being is part of you. And we give so much gratitude for all beings on the planet knowing that we are free, we are all kept safe, and that this World is becoming a better place. We call it forth now. Great Spirit, we give so much gratitude to angels and guides that are always with us. We’re never alone. We give so much gratitude to watching this world become a better place through us and through all people around the planet.

We know it is done. Great Spirit, we know it is done. And so it is. Oh, I love that. Thank you. I needed that. Yes, it’s. It’s quite the journey that we’re on. We’re never alone. I always have to remind myself that too. We’re never alone. We’re always kept saf safe and we’re just doing what’s in our hearts to do. Like you were inspired to do this book, that’s not an accident or mistake. This is needing to get out into the world. So thank you so much, Samantha, because I know what it takes to do a book.

And I know, I remember I kept asking you so many questions when you were doing yours, and I’m like, it was a birthing process. I will say part of me is like, I’m never going to use a publisher again. But now that the book is out and I realize, like, it’s late legitimately everywhere, I’m like, oh, wait, maybe I like the idea of a publisher because they’re taking care of all the backside of it for me, you know? Yeah, it is a little longer. Yeah, yeah. Self publishing is, is, is quite the thing. But just getting a book completed is such, is such an accomplishment.

So if you guys are listening and there’s a book inside of you, keep going. Don’t give up. Give up. It’s. It’s possible to happen, you guys. Okay, Sam, we’ll talk to you soon. Much. Aloha. Aloha, Michelle. Talk to you later. Thank you.
