If you look at this plan and you’re not happy with it, as many of us are not happy with it, it’s your kuleana to contact your responsibility to contact your County Council member and tell them, tell them about our concerns. Now, one thing that my County Council member said was she said basically that this plan is not set in stone, that it’s just a framework, you know, and it’s like, this is going to lay the foundation for the future of the Big Island. And let me share with you guys what we’re concerned about. Just so you guys know, check out blossominnerwellness.com, blossominnerwellness.com, and that’s a freedom school, free freedom school, as well as standtogetherhawaii.com.
If you’re listening on The Voice of Kona, Mahalo so much for listening on the radio, and sovereignradio.com is where you can also find me. But let me show you guys this first. This was one of the first things that I shared with her was that on the right side is today’s land use map. And if you see the light teal, that light teal color, that is important ag land use, important ag land use is turning into this 2045 plan natural land, which means no farming. No farming, I think you might be able to build one unit per acre or something like that.
But there’s no more important ag, and our new general plan, they’re taking off all important ag land use. Why? Why are they doing that? The other thing I want to share is that my sister asked the planning department about this, they’re turning a lot of residential into, where is it at? I’m sorry, agriculture into conservation. Conservation means the state manages it. That’s what that means, the state managed. Agriculture, they’re changing agriculture land into conservation. That means more rules and regulations, can’t be on the property, no farming, you know, the state manages it. And here’s, this is interesting.
The proposed draft general plan 2045 maps are called, not changed the existing county zoning code. So they’re saying that the general plan land use map will not change the zoning code. That’s what this said is in the letter. And it’s just it’s really interesting that they added this, it does not change existing uses or allowable uses consistent with the zoning. Okay, so that’s what they say. But here, on page 236 10a, it says, amend the zoning code to create a category for lands that should be kept in a natural state, which is what that planning map I just showed you with the dark green natural land is is turning important Ag is turning into natural.
So this says amend the zoning code to create a category for lands that should be kept mostly in a natural state, but that may not be in the conservation district. And it says, um, the zoning category should also include reasonable land uses so I’m not sure what that means. But it’s interesting that this says amend the zoning code for the natural land use in the natural state. And the letter, my sister received said that this is not going to change the existing county zoning. So I don’t think it changes the code. I don’t think that it changes the zoning, but it sets it up to be changed.
That’s the whole point. They’re turning residential some residential areas into recreation, which lowers people’s property value. And they’re saying that locals help to create this plan. What local is going to want their property or their neighbor’s property value to drop what local is going to say, yeah, that’s a great idea for you to drop my property value so that my cakey when they inherit it will have less value in the property. What landowner is going to say, yeah, that’s a good idea. You know, there’s keep saying the, the director of the planning department keeps saying that the people help to create this what person’s going to want that.
So this is what I shared with my county council member and please contact your county council member about this general plan because it does go to them beginning of July. So it’s ASAP. So let’s go through. I wanted to look at this one as well. This on page 132. Does anybody here on Hawaii have water catchment rainwater catchment. Would you like the Department of Health to come in and test your water catchment. This is on page 133 26 F collaborate with the Department of Health to develop standards and guidelines for the construction and use of rainwater catchment systems to minimize the intrusion of any chemical and biological contaminants.
First of all, the government is not responsible for your health. It’s the only thing I’m going to say because I’m getting shadow band, right and left. So please like subscribe share and strikes on my channel. So, and also follow me on rumble blossom inner wellness on rumble. That’s where I would go. So, but do you want the Department of Health on your property, checking your water catchment telling you what you need to put in it. What are they going to tell us to put in it. What contaminants are they going to try to force on us.
It’s going to clean the water. Interesting. So this is again what I shared with my county council member. And please contact your county council member friends. Stakeholder I told her stakeholder is pretty much anybody in the entire world is an individual group organization that has an interest or concern in particular project decision or activity and can be affected by its outcome. That’s anybody in the entire world state stakeholders can range from entities employees customers suppliers investors government agencies members non government organizations, again, anybody in the entire world. They can influence and be influenced by the objectives policies and performance of an organization or project.
So anybody in the entire world can affect our general plan. Isn’t that interesting. So that’s what I shared with her. I also shared Oscar require require page 188 40.8 require all county departments to collaborate with require require that’s important. That’s important, because this takes off people’s testimony. This takes off people’s voice require all county departments to collaborate with the county Office of sustainability climate equity and resilience as a lead agency to ensure the integrity of the county’s goals of sustainability. Climate resilience and equity into all county operations and planning initiatives. This Oscar will take off people’s voice, because it will require all county offices to collaborate with them with the Office of sustainability and equity and resilience.
And what we say our testimony could get booted out the door because they’re going to have to collaborate with Oscar on every single, every single planning county agency. Why, what’s that about. They’re taking away the voice of the people you guys that is what that means. Let me share some more again. This is what I shared with my county council member. The United Nations, this is on page 656 sorry 56. It says, the United Nations, the intergovernmental panel of climate change has concluded so basically climate change the impacts of climate change. I just wanted to say the United Nations is in our general plan.
The United Nations is not part of the United States government, which is a corporate corporation I don’t want to get into that. The United Nations is not part of Hawaii State. That means that an outside government agency is impacting our general plan, and that is treason. That is treason and people you know can think that I’m too intense or whatever. But this is interesting that Tennessee. Let me show you guys, Tennessee and Maine, both have bills that district that take off the agenda 21 United Nations agenda. So, SB Tennessee SB 1147 this pill prohibits the state and its political subdivisions from adopting or implementing policy recommendations that deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict private property rights without due process, as may be required by policy recommendations originating in or traceable to agenda 21 as adopted by the United Nations.
Tennessee just put a bill through that says they are not allowing the United Nations recommendations to affect their legislation. Okay, that’s big. This one too, Maine, Maine legislation, protection of private property rights. It says agenda 21 as used in this section unless the contents. Okay, this bill. This bill prohibits the state or any political subdivision of the state from adopting or implementing policies originating in the United Nations agenda 21 or other international laws that restrict private property rights without due process in our general plan. If you go into the planning department and you want to get a permit, they will inventory your property, and it literally says somewhere in the plan for possible acquisition.
They’re going to inventory your property. So both Tennessee and Maine have said no go on the United Nations agenda 21 and I told my county council member this I said do not put this through. This is a general plan that has been affected by an outside government body, which makes it a treasonous document. And that is what I told her, and she basically she’s amazing I really thank her for her time, but she said that the plan is just, it’s basically she made it sound like it doesn’t have any weight that in order for amendments to happen zoning to happen.
A property owner would have to come in and talk to the county council. And, but I told her, I said, electric vehicles, they want zero emissions by 2045. That means no diesel. That means people’s electrical electric bills going to go up. That means more stress on the grid, which already doesn’t support what we need here on the big island we get we get outages sometimes for hours, because the grid cannot sustain the power that the big island needs. And now they want to have it be even more challenged with electric vehicles, electric vehicles and I told her this, that spew toxic fumes if the engine cracks.
If the engine cracks, you have an issue with toxic waste and toxic fumes that are spewing. I said, who’s going to pay to move these vehicles off island, who’s going to take them, where are we going to store these electric vehicles. Who’s going to want to pay, how much of the intensity will it take on the grid to power an electric tractor for farmers, an electric mower, an electric bus, you know, so this is very concerning. So I told her, I said, we don’t want this plan to go through. And this was not created by the people.
This was influenced by an outside entity, the United Nations agenda 21, not Pono. So you guys, I hope I’m, I hope I’m speaking to people who take action. All right, I believe I am. I believe in you, just like you believe in me, and I have people coming up to me that I see around around the big island and thanking me and I appreciate that. But I want to thank you. I want to say thank you so much for contacting your council member. Thank you, because we need numbers. We need them to know we do not want this as the foundation for the future of Big Island, the foundation for the future of our of our cakey.
It’s not Pono. And we say no. And we want them to stand for the people. This is supposed to be supposed to be a government for the people by the people. Let’s make that happen, you guys. I cannot do this by myself. We do this together. That’s why I created stand together Hawaii calm, because we do this together. It could be one phone call, contact your county council member, tell them, do not put this plan through. It could be an email. I met with my county council member for 15 minutes on zoom. So neither one of us had to travel.
You can do that. That’s way more powerful. Okay. Just doing the best I can. Love you guys. Infinite creator. You know how much I love this island. You know how much this people and the big island mean to me into my heart and to my family and great spirit. We just know that what is right is here. We call forth that every single county council member do what is right for the I know for the land for the people for our Ohana our family that live here. Great spirit. I know that each person who hears my voice has the courage to just send an email or pick up the phone or may meet on zoom or in person with their county council member and tell them no, we do not want this plan to go through great spirit.
We trust in you give I give it to you great spirit. I have done the best I can and now I just give it to you, like all the works I always do. I trust you. I know that what we’re doing here is for the betterment of the I know for the land for the people for our cakey. I see this island thriving with so much abundance of food for all people, the way it used to be. We didn’t have ships coming to island the island. Hundreds of years ago, this whole place was sustained by an abundance of food that grew everywhere.
Great spirit we call that forth back, we call it here again that this I know this land these islands can thrive. But with our farmers and with each other with each other creating community together, where we barter and we share and we laugh and we hug. Thank you so much great spirit. I trust in you. I know it is done. And so it is. Okay, Ohana contact your county council member ASAP. This is going to be going on for the next six months are going to be reviewing the plan, and I’m going to be at every meeting that I can be at.
I hope to see you guys there. Much Aloha, please join stand together Hawaii calm, and of course blossom inner wellness. Aloha. [tr:trw].
