RIP Denise Boland s Heartfelt Tribute Loving Remembrance

I’ve spent a better part of last night into this morning processing this, and still she passed away from the dreaded C word. She had told me about it months ago. She asked me not to say anything about it until it was made public, which it is on her Facebook. Unfortunately, I found out through, as I said, Jennifer and through the family, Jennifer relayed the message to me, which I appreciate them doing. So today we would like to honor the memory of the wonderful Denise Boland. Many of you knew her from her channel Remember This, which I was honored to go on several times, but that’s neither here nor there.

Denise is, was a loving wife, mother, patriot, truth teller, and fierce advocate for all things New York and her community. And I respect and respected her on so many levels, as does and did our team. We just felt it was fitting to pay tribute to her. And so I’m going to show you a couple images today. And then the service officially will be later that day in Staten Island, as you can see here, I would like to quote a couple of verses that I know where typify who Denise is and was Philippians two, three to four. Do not be selfish.

Do not try to impress, impress others. Be humble. Think of yourselves. Excuse me. Thinking of others is better than yourselves. Don’t look only for your out for your own self-interest, but take an interest in others. Well, I can’t think of a better person to live out that word than Denise. Matthew 634, don’t worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will bring its own troubles. Today has its own concerns. First John two 15 through 17, do not love this world nor the things that offers you for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the father in you for the world offers a craving for physical pleasure for everything we see and pride in our achievements and possessions.

These are not from the father, but from the world. And this world is fading away along with everything that people crave and anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. Well, again, in my humble opinion, I don’t know too many other people that could exemplify that the way that Denise does and has and is now doing in heaven. She’s no longer suffering, but it’s the hardest for those left behind, particularly her family. But Denise, you will always live on in our hearts. We love and salute you. Thank you for everything that you did for this community.

She interviewed countless scores of people from everyday people to actors, childhood actors, musical acts, directors, she paid homage to the past and not just the latest flavor as it were. So she had a memory for the fondness of her childhood and to pay homage. And so we in kind would like to pay homage to her. Thank you for giving me a platform Denise five years ago to even have this opportunity. I’m deeply indebted to you for that. We promised the Lord that we would use this podcast and this channel responsibly and humbly and to get out the truth as much as possible.

And that is certainly no exception today. Our sincerest prayers go out to the family and I’m in touch with them if they should. Not that there’s much we can do, but if there’s anything that we can do for them in the future to make their burden lighter, we’d like to do that. And we’d like to offer you folks who loved her as much as we did the opportunity to do the same. In closing, I’m going to leave a moment of silence and just share her a picture posthumously of her.
