Summary
➡ The article discusses the ongoing political and economic issues, focusing on the U.S.’s sanctions against Iran and the influence of the City of London. It highlights the role of psychological warfare and the influence of the military-industrial complex. The article also touches on the power dynamics in the Middle East, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz, and the historical context of these issues, tracing back to the British Empire. It suggests that despite changes in U.S. leadership, the same issues persist, indicating a deeper systemic problem.
➡ Eisenhower once stood against the British during the Suez crisis in 1956, refusing to aid England, France, and Israel in their invasion of Egypt. This event is seen as a symbol of his stance against powerful institutions that operate outside of the Republican system. Today, these institutions are believed to be manipulating the flow of capital to benefit the wealthy, stifling entrepreneurship and creativity. This manipulation is seen as intentional, with dissenters often silenced or discredited, and is linked to larger political and economic conflicts dating back to the British Empire’s attempts to control global power in the 19th century.
➡ The text discusses the political actions and motivations of Trump, focusing on his relationships with other countries and his promises during his campaign. It suggests that Trump, like other politicians, may not have fulfilled his promises due to a lack of power or personal interests. The text also discusses the influence of corporations and central banks on politics, suggesting that they may have more power than elected officials. Lastly, it questions why politicians don’t use their platforms to expose these issues.
➡ The speaker criticizes the U.S. system, particularly its stance on Iran and the war system. They argue that Iran is not a threat and has no nuclear weapons program, contrary to popular belief. They also discuss the U.S.’s economic struggles, the rise of China, and the issues of surveillance and data collection. The speaker encourages a shift in values towards science, engineering, and education.
➡ The text discusses the growing issue of censorship and social control, particularly on the internet, which is silencing voices that could provide valuable insights. It also highlights the case of Lyndon LaRouche, who was unjustly persecuted and imprisoned. The text further explores the increasing wealth disparity and the decline of the middle class, suggesting we’re moving towards a worldwide situation where a small percentage are extremely wealthy while the majority are poor. Lastly, it emphasizes the importance of critical thinking and the ability to focus, which are being undermined by media control, censorship, and poor education.
➡ The speaker discusses the importance of unity and individualism, arguing against divisions based on race or gender. They emphasize the need for debates to be based on ideas and principles, not personal characteristics. They also express concern about the development of new weapons at the expense of education and healthcare, and the potential dangers of artificial intelligence. The speaker advocates for a system that encourages entrepreneurial spirit and the development of individual character, and believes that every person has a potential that should be allowed to develop.

You can sign up for that as well@Sarah Westall.com and remember to give a thumbs up and to subscribe on the platform that you’re watching. Welcome to Business Game Changers. I’m Sarah Westall. I have my friend Harley Schlanger coming back to the program. We are going to discuss what’s going on in with the Canadian terrorists. We’re also going to discuss Iran. Harley, you know, talks to a lot of people around the world. He lives in Germany. He has access to reports and people, we all have access to reports if we did for it. But he has access to people who are living outside the US Media circus.
People from around the world who are not inside the US See the US Differently than the people inside. It’s like being out. And you know when you hire an outside consultant to help you clean up your business because you have a different perspective in more of an objective perspective, although I’m not sure if everybody has an objective perspective of the United States, but certainly different than people who are locked into this media information war that we’re in. And so we’re going to talk about that and how that changes your perspective. But I also pushed back on some things and he pushed back.
I wanted to talk to him about the ideas that Tom Luongo and Mike Steger from the Promethean Action Group and some of the other people who are seeing the war in Iran from a different perspective, as if it’s really fighting the city of London and the central bankers and breaking up that stranglehold to have on that region. And he doesn’t agree with that. He says that’s not true. And these are the reasons why I purposely brought those ideas up to him so he could challenge them and then I could challenge him a little bit on that and just let it unfold so that people in the audience can critically think on their own.
I personally think that Everybody in the world. I went on Dave Janda’s show and he asked me about war. And I got to tell you, I think pretty much the world is against war, except the war hawks and the military industrial complex that makes money on war. Almost everybody else is so fatigued and against it. And probably a lot of people inside those corporations and those organizations are against it too. It’s kind of like the Vietnam War when the girl was running. It won a journalism war. That image where the girl was running and her clothes was burned off of her during the Vietnam War.
It was the first war where journalists were. Were able to accompany the soldiers and be. And document the war as it was going on. That one image turned the public’s opinion against the war because they saw the horrors firsthand of we’re burning this little girl’s clothes off of her and she’s running out of this village. That was horrifying to people. What we’re seeing today is that on steroids. I mean, we’re. What we’re seeing out of Gaza, what we’re seeing. Ukraine. They, they knew it was a problem in Ukraine, so they kicked all the journalists out. They’re trying to do that in Gaza too, kicking all the journalists out.
But it’s. Things are getting leaked out. Things are getting leaked out of Ukraine. People being pulled out of their homes to fight. They’ve lost whole generation of young men, women too, but mostly men. It’s a horrifying situation. People don’t want to bomb their suppliers. The people they do business with, the people they talk to online in social media, chat rooms, they just don’t want. The world’s different now. The Internet has made the world smaller. And so we don’t. We don’t care why we’re in war. We don’t want to be in war. Right. We want you to negotiate, if at all possible.
And I think that’s a sentiment that is worldwide. And when you see atrocities that could have been avoided, we see them as crimes. We just see it as crimes. And we don’t have the appetite we used to for war in general. The world has evolved, and I think the military industrial complex hasn’t evolved with it. Unfortunately, they don’t see that yet. And the United States is paying the. Gonna pay the price for that. Whether you agree with me or not on whether we need to be in this war, the reality is the culture has changed and the pushback has changed.
And we’re dealing with this phenomena. If you don’t like it, it’s still there. It doesn’t matter. It’s still the reality that we’re dealing with and you have to, you have to operate on the territory that you’re on. You can’t wish the territory to be gone because you don’t like it. It is what it is. So I hope you like this engaging conversation I have with my friend Harley Schlanger. He’s the president of the larouche Organization. He’s also, he was the senior editor of the Executive Intelligence Review and now I think he’s just the editor part of it.
We talk about that he had too many things to do, right? He was in charge of too many things. But he’s the president of the larouche organization and he they have really great organization at getting information to their readers. And I’ll have a link below of where you can find that. But before we get into this, I want to remind you about getting some silver and gold. The world is becoming more unstable and I know that silver has gone down quite a bit, which is, I think it’s a good thing I that I just bought more last week myself.
And I’m looking into getting my parents portfolio into safer assets. I did recently lose my mom and my dad had a stroke. So we are in charge of their portfolio and we’re moving it into safer assets. And one of those asset groups is going to be gold and silver because of the chaos there is. I just had Ed Dowd on the program talking about how the smart money is moving into having a certain percentage into cash. Warren Buffett, I believe F’s 40% in cash looking to take advantage of when the market falls because we are at such a high evaluation right now that that’s a really red sign, red flashing signs that the market’s going to fall when it’s at a peak.
So the smart money knows that they’re in cash right now. I like the better idea of being in gold and silver because when the market crashes, gold and silver typically historically always goes up and then you can sell and get, take advantage of whatever you want and buy things at a low price if that’s what you want to do. Otherwise you hold and you have just protected your assets. But if you’re going to buy, buy from somebody you trust. I’ve said this many, many times. And you can’t trust from everybody online. They’re charging you too high of premiums.
You need to check what you’re doing. People are getting scammed. My company, Miles Franklin that I work with do not sc. It’s a commodity based business. Do yourself a favor. If you’re in the market for buying gold and silver, check your prices, make sure you’re getting a good deal. And Miles Franklin puts out a special price list for my listeners twice a week. You can get access to that by going to sarahwestall.com Miles Franklin fill out that form. You’ll get the special price list and they will also reach out to you and help you with anything that needs that you may have.
And I hope that I just hope that you’re smart about protecting your assets. I think this is the time to do it. Okay, Sarah westall.com Miles Franklin and let’s get into my engaging conversation with my friend Harley Schlanger. Hi, Harley. Welcome back to the program. Hi, Sarah. Good to see you again. We have a lot to talk about. I want your perspective on some of these commentators who I actually appreciate talking to them because I think they’re smart and they’re putting out messaging that’s very different than what 99% of the media is saying. And so I always appreciate, especially in the middle of this psychological war, that we are really in a war online, putting out information that really distorts everything.
And it’s not just online. It’s also on the ground. Right. And it’s we’re in a very scary point where it could move past localized areas. It’s going to get I think it likely could get past Ukraine and Iran area because once you start really ramping up economic sanctions, that’s the indication that war that’s more serious will follow. Well, and we just are at the point where Besant announced the sanctions of all sanctions, the mother of all sanctions against Iran. And unfortunately for the US Administration, there are very few countries that are going to recognize that. And there are all kinds of alternatives.
So the question is, what do you gain by making these kinds of threats? Why not have negotiations? Why not go back to diplomacy? And this is where we run up against what, what you and I were just talking about, psychological warfare. There are institutions and individuals who favor war, who make money from war, who profit from the the wartime propaganda. And when they present their views, it doesn’t say at the bottom of the screen favorable to military industrial complex. You have to read something beyond what they say. And I think part of the problem is that we, we lack the capability for the most part because of bad education, bad media, media control, censorship.
You’re, of course, very familiar with the whole censorship problem. People don’t know how to make critical evaluations. And so they get demoralized Depressed, they think there’s nothing they can do except go along to get along. Yeah, it’s a, that’s psychological warfare is, is prop out, prop up certain people make it look like you’re losing. I mean they want you to feel like you’re losing even if you’re not. But it is confusing on both sides because both sides favor war. They just favor it differently in, in the United States, you know, whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, they both are very interested in propagating war.
And it really seems that no matter who is in office, the same old crap continues. Well, it’s not two sides. That’s the point. It’s one party. You look at Biden, you look at Blinken, they, they come from the Madeleine Albright’s big new Brzezinski crowd. You look at the Republican side and it’s the Kissinger Bush side and you have essentially one party in two different disguises. There are some differences. The whole question of woke transgender, that’s the social stuff is different. But I’m not sure if they care at that level that they operate. Well, what most people care about is are we spending money wisely, are we suffering from inflation, from shortages because we’re doing the wrong thing.
And if you look at the, the way these wars are going, we’re spending trillions of dollars to kill people who are not a security threat to the United States. And the, the debate really has to get down to what is in the interests of the human race as a whole. Well, let me, let me ask you because this is, these are the economic questions that, that I think is at the heart of this. I have done a series of interviews with other commentators and people who are studying, who have different perspectives. And so I want to hear your perspective on it.
And, and I can’t argue with their comment that the straight of Hormuz, they don’t want that to be controlled by the Middle east quagmire of that’s going on. And they’d like to see oil be transported through different channels and that by bypassing that the straight, that reduces the power of the City of London. Now I know that you’re not a fan of the City of London because they control the central bankers. They are the central bankers and they’ve created a lot of the problems in this world. Now is this a case of, I mean it’s hard to argue that that isn’t, that doesn’t sound that, that unreasonable.
But you have a different take on it. Yeah. Go back a step before the Iran War who controlled the Strait of Hormuz. There was free passage. There was not blockage of oil shipments. Every country had access to the benefit of the oil and gas exports from the Gulf region. It was the war. Now, what was the whole point of the war? And here’s where people who argue that the war was against the City of London are completely wrong. The City of London controls the whole Zionist operation as well as the terrorist operation. And this we know from Michael Flynn, when Flynn reported as Defense Intelligence Agency chief that the US was supporting Al Qaeda and ISIS.
This goes back to Brzezinski. It goes back 50 years in US politics that we used Islamic terror and played it off against Zionist expansion. And so the question is, how can someone argue they’re opposing the City of London when the present administration has facilitated the Israeli policy of war against the Palestinians? Well, and, but, but the argument that they make is that Netanyahu is, is. Is probably a criminal. The Israelis went way overboard, and they are out of line. And that even though that happened, this strategy is still sound. What do you say? Completely wrong. I’ll tell you why.
Kushner, the President’s envoy, just met with Hamas, talked to them about would they be willing to disarm if the memo of understanding were carried through. Remember, the memo of understanding was agreed by Trump and Iran, and it included no Israeli interference in Lebanon. What happened right away, they immediately interfered. Rubio went to Beirut and gave the Israelis the right to interfere in Lebanon, including attacking not just Muslims, but Christians. Okay, but hold on. But that, that goes with their. Their argument, though. Israel went r. May have been involved, but it goes with their argument that they didn’t appreciate the.
The agreement and they just went and did their own thing as a rogue nation. Even though Rubio was involved. Well, so was Trump. Donald Trump did the same thing that Biden did. And for people who are trying to make excuses for Trump, and I’m not here to say Trump is the. Is evil. I’m just saying he’s following a traditional American policy of supporting the City of London intervention, which is Israel. Israel was set up from the beginning to be an extension of, at the time, British foreign policy when the Ottoman Empire was collapsing, the end of World War I, and it continued after 1948.
Now, you had an effort by some people in Israel who tried to make an agreement of trading land for peace with the Palestinians. Who sabotaged that. It was Netanyahu. Netanyahu built up the opposition to Rabin. It was the settlers movement that pre created the, the terrorists who Killed Rabin. The whole Middle east situation, which had a potential around Oslo, collapsed. And so what did Biden do when the whole situation broke out in Gaza? Sent weapons and, and supplies to Israel. Trump came in and increased the amount of weapons and money to Israel. So you’re saying that they’re pretending that they’re fighting the City of London and in reality, this is the City of London’s plan.
Well, the City of London is very clever because they’ve been at this for centuries. You know, if you, you look at what we’re dealing with, we’re coming to the end of a European imperial system. It goes back 500 years. Initially, it was the Dutch, the Portuguese, the Belgians, the French, the Spanish and the English fighting each other. And over a period of a couple hundred years, the British, backed by the Venetians, became the dominant imperial power. The United States was founded as a rejection of empire. We founded a republic based on the Declaration of Independence, the idea that governments are instituted among men to rule on behalf of the interests of the sovereign, which is the people, not a king, not House of Lords and things of that sort.
Now, the British never accepted the American Revolution and did everything they could to sabotage it, including the War of 1812, the Civil War. Didn’t they eventually accept it, or you think they still are delusional? Well, they don’t accept the idea that you don’t have the special power for the people with property, people with money, in a sense, what we now call the Epstein class. What is that? These are the billionaires. So they. You’re saying that they mentally can’t. They’re mentally. I don’t want to use defunct or mentally stunted. That’s the right word. I’m. They’re mentally stunted and only see themselves.
People with money. And the elite class, they have that hierarchy in, in England. Right. They have that status hierarchy. They mentally stunted and don’t. Can’t see the idea of everybody being equal and having rights. They. To me, that’s a mental stunt. I mean, that’s being mentally stunted. Well, but if you have efficiency in there, if you have the power to deploy armies and funny money, you can do it. Even if you’re stunted. Your power, you can do it through power, but you’re mentally defunct. But go ahead. Well, but here’s, here’s the turning point. After World War I, there was an effort to recruit the United States back into the empire, and that was at Versailles.
And the Dulles brothers, the Harriman interests, the arm and hammer, Wall street was, was being recruited, but Franklin Roosevelt was not part of that. And Franklin Roosevelt fought with Churchill throughout the war saying that the United States will not support the British Empire after the war. Now, unfortunately, Roosevelt died right before the war ended and there was a fight during the 50s. Now Eisenhower was mixed. Eisenhower at some point rose up against the British. The suez crisis in 1956, when Israel, England and France invaded Egypt to try to overthrow Nasser and to make sure the Canal, the Suez Canal was not nationalized.
They asked Eisenhower to help. And Eisenhower said no, you get out or we’re going to dump the British pound. And if you trace that track of Eisenhower through his speech, his last speech on the eve of Kennedy’s inauguration when he spoke about the military industrial complex, that’s what he was talking about. The institutions of power that are outside of the Republican system of the Constitution. Well, don’t you think that they’ve, they’ve used the institutions now to increase the ability for these billionaire class through universities, through the inability for entrepreneurs to really get going? I mean the capital flows to the upper class and the entrepreneurial flourishing that made this country great is really stunted now.
Yeah, the capital is not flowing. And that’s why if you shut down those ideas and you shut down the explosion of creativity, you shut down the flourishing of a country, but you also maintain the power in the hands of the Epstein class through universities and through flow of capital. Is that on purpose or is that a. They’re unconsciously doing it. Of course it’s on purpose. And you know, that’s why you run into a censorship mafia that doesn’t want your voice heard. If, if you don’t go along with what they’re doing, they will attack you. They’ll do everything they can to silence you, to portray you as a nut.
I think, I think it’s worse than that. But go ahead, just make the point. It’s the academic institutions, the think tanks and the political parties that are controlled by groups of money. Now the one that we’re becoming familiar with now because of Gaza is aipac, the American Israel Public Affairs Commission and the Anti Defamation League, the ones who say if you go against Netanyahu and against Israel, you’re anti Semitic. Well, Zionism is not a religion. Zionism is a political cult which was originally established by British aristocrats, the so called British Israelites. Have you thought about whether your investments are making the highest returns they can and eliminating as much taxes as you can? I think all of us want that strategy.
Right? That’s the strategy that the wealthiest use. And my friends at Ironhawk Financial are helping my listeners figure out a strategy to do exactly that. If you want the best returns on your portfolios, you want to eliminate as much taxes as you humanly possibly can, and you want to set up your grandkids, you want to set up your kids, and you want to set up yourself for having the most amount you possibly can in your portfolios. I highly recommend you look at the strategies that my friends at Ironhawk Financial do for my listeners. Go to sw hawk.com and get information.
They are professionals and they will help you understand what those strategies are. So that you’re looking at portfolios that are making twice, three, four times more than what you would have and paying a lot less in taxes in the process. Who doesn’t want to do that? Go to sw hawk.com and learn about it today. What I was talking about is that what we have as the political dividing lines today go back to the end of the 19th century when the British Empire was trying to assert its authority over the whole world. And their biggest problem was the United States.
But they also had a problem with inter imperial rivalries, especially against Russia. And so the British created different institutions that were used to counter the unification that was occurring in Eurasia. For example, France, Germany and Russia were becoming allied in their desire to be a Eurasian, a connection to Eurasia. And the British didn’t want that. They wanted the control through the seas, through the oceans, and control the economy through, through trading. So they did everything they could to establish an antagonism between Germany and Russia and Germany and France. And one of the things they were also worried about is what would happen when the Ottoman Empire collapsed in the Middle east because the Russians were moving into the Middle east, the French were there, so they created Zionism.
And Zionism is presented as the Jewish religion, but it’s not a religion. It’s a political belief in the land for Jewish people controlled by Jewish people as an exclusive property. And it hurts Jewish people. Right. I mean, you’re a Jewish background. It’s just fundamentally harmful to Jewish people to align a political ideology with a religion that doesn’t match the religion. Yeah, and what, what you had in the 1880s and 90s, you had pogroms, attacks against Jews in Poland and Eastern Europe and Russia. And the Jews wanted to leave. They were not allowed to come to the United States or Western Europe.
They were funneled toward the Middle East. And you know, my relatives didn’t want to go to Palestine. They wanted to go to New York they wanted to go to Miami Beach. They came to the United States and there was 2 million Jews who came to the United States and only a few tens of thousands that went to Palestine. The British took the tens of thousands and promised them a homeland. This was in the Balfour Declaration. And Balfour himself, who was the foreign minister, said that they would serve the interests of British foreign policy. And that’s what they did.
At the same time they were supporting the Salafist, which are now the Islamic fundamentalists of Saudi Arabia and these other countries. So they created conflict. But what do you think? Go, continue. When there’s conflict like that, it creates the opening for a power from the outside. And originally the British and the French were dominant in the Middle East. Now after World War II, when the British Empire was starting to collapse, the British had been preparing for this since World War I. And they created a City of London party in the United States in both the Democrats and the Republicans.
The Harriman faction in the Democrats and what became the Bush faction in the Republicans. And that’s essentially the basis for cartels, economic cartels. When you talk about stifling the entrepreneurial creativity, you’re talking about the big corporate cartels in banking, finance, insurance, real estate. Wrong. They do a bunch of, they do a lip service of wanting entrepreneurship. They want that creativity. But what they do is they shut. You can tell by the patents. 80%, I don’t remember the number. Something like 80% of all patents are stolen. And by these companies, they buy these people out. It’s just, it’s a, it’s a horrifying nightmare really going on.
Also, they control credit. They control credit. And, and now it’s widely believed that the ability for an entrepreneur that doesn’t come from money is, you know, it really going to struggle. It’s the days of big tech, people building stuff in their garages and stuff. That’s, that’s not the day, you know, that’s not today. When you look at some of these entrepreneurs, they’re all coming out of MIT with some family background. And you know, I mean, that’s the importance of Epstein. Because Epstein was not just some immoral, corrupt guy. He was essentially functioning on behalf of these speculative interests that went from junk bonds to mortgage backed securities to financialization to derivatives, to control the finance.
And Epstein was, was no great genius, but he was part of that operation which today includes the merger of artificial intelligence and Silicon Valley with the military industrial complex. Well, let me go ahead just. And it includes Britain, Israel and the United States as one unit. Well, and that’s what people, they see Britain always being on the both, like on the opposite. If you listen to NPR, for example, they are 100% against Trump. Right. In the way that they present it. So how do you, how. And, and so many people are against Trump’s behaviors? How does that work where everybody’s against Trump, but he’s doing the City of London’s bidding? I don’t understand how.
How does that work? Well, you know, to be against him is more of the, the, it’s the personal idiosyncrasies that people don’t like. His narcissism, his lying, his assertion of authority. But what are his policies? The Democrats supported the same policies that Trump supported in regarding Israel. He said he was going to stop the war in Ukraine. What is he doing now? He’s sending more arms to Ukraine? Well, does he not have the power? I mean, because he, you know, I was on Dave Janda’s show the other day, and he did a reel of Trump talking when he was elected to office of all the wars he was going to stop.
And it was just thing after thing after thing about how he’s going to stop the war in the Middle east and on nonstop wars. And it was a really good compilation, and it’s why he was elected. People really like the policies talking about. And then he got into office and what he actually implemented is all these wars. Now, people, you look at that and you think that he just doesn’t have the power. Like who goes in lies the entire time and then does a 180, 180 difference to what you’re telling everybody while you’re running for office that do people knowingly do that, or do they realize once they’re there that they don’t have the power to do anything and they just give up.
Let, Let me give you two clues. One, Trump went to London in September of 2025, I think it was, and he was honored by Prince Charles, who was then King Charles. And what did they talk about? The defense sector, artificial intelligence, the tech sector of the two countries merging to win the war in Ukraine. Then when King Charles came to the Congress, what did he talk about? We’re here to make sure the brave, courageous freedom fighters in Ukraine beat Russia. Trump cheered that. So did the Democrats and Republicans. There was a UNI party, an agreement on that.
Now, Trump said he was going to end the war in Ukraine. He could have stopped all weapon shipments in the Ukraine. He did not. He could have, as could have Biden stopped weapon shipments to Israel. Israel could not fight these wars without the funding of the United States. So what is it that Israel has? Some people say, well, the Israelis control Trump because they have the Epstein files and Trump’s. I don’t believe that. I think Trump actually is not a complex thinker and is more interested in his legacy. You know, things like the Reflecting pool and the ark and the, you know, the Kennedy center being called the Trump Center.
You know, I think he’s more interested in making a fortune through Bitcoin than he is to actually rebuild the legacy of the United States. And so he’s made bad decisions. Well, what do you think of the ndaa? There’s two. There’s one in the Senate which is. Has to do with military intelligence, and then there’s one in the House which has to do with the military itself. Merging. The US Military. They don’t say merging. They say, I got pushback on this. They say integration, but I don’t know if integration is depending on how much you integrate. Sure seems like it’s merging.
Integration and merging seems like they’re synonyms, but they claim it’s totally different. Is it integration on procurement and production? Those. That’s the actual language. And what that means is that the discoveries that are made will be shared. Now, why does the United States have to share its discoveries with Israel and the Great. Great Britain? You have a. With Great Britain in there, too, or is it just Israel? Well, Great Britain’s been in it since the. And since NATO. So is. Is the agreement that we have with Great Britain already the same agreement that we have with Israel? Pretty much.
Okay. And that’s something nobody talks about? Well, that’s because nobody really wants to know what the. The British are about. The essential thing about the City of London, and this is where people who say Trump is fighting the city of London are wrong. The City of London is committed to the idea of a global free trade agreement in which corporate cartels override the power of elected governments. This was presented clearly by Mark Carney, who’s now the Prime Minister of Canada, in the Jackson Hole, Wyoming fed meeting in 2019, where he said, the great reset is that we’re going to have the corporate cartels in banking and finance make the policies as opposed to Congresses and elected parliaments.
And the reason he said, is that Congresses and parliaments get influenced by the constituents and make the wrong decisions. We need technocrats working on behalf of the corporations. Now, this is technically called corporatism, but was called in the 20s and 30s fascism. It’s fascism but it’s all, yeah, there’s two factions, so there’s either fascism or communism. They want to give more power to that same group. Either they’re giving it to the government who’s working with the corporations or you give it to the corporations who’s working with the government. Yeah. So it’s, it’s, it’s the same thing.
But now here’s the deal with Carney. People argue, you know, Carney’s a central bankers, central banker of central bank. I mean he was a, was a powerful central banker and then he got the head of the European Central bank, the bank of Canada. Then he went in and he, it feels to me like he was parachuted into Canada to run Canada and to create issues between the United States and Canada. Now the fact that, that Trump and him are fighting and Trump’s has a 50% tariff, the tariffs and the tariffs on the United States from Canada, there’s like a couple hundred percent that, that we have to pay, you know, the import tax, it’s incredible.
The out of balance tariffs between Canada and the United States and Canada acts like that. We should just have to continue doing that. It’s frustrating. They have to actually read it. You have to read it. Now that being said, 50% tariffs are still a hell of a lot less than the tariffs they’re putting on us now. So what is going on with Carney? If you’re fighting, if you’re fighting Carney, it sure looks like you’re finding central bankers. So are you saying that that isn’t real? Yeah, because it’s not going to change anything. The tariffs the United States are pushing are constantly on and off.
They’re voted down. That’s not the way to do it. If you want warfare against the British Empire, you go after the central banks, you go after the control of credit. But does he have the power to do that? Has he given up and said, I’d rather make money and I don’t have the power myself to go after the central bankers? That’s what it looks like to me. It looks like he just merged fold. Shouldn’t he try? Shouldn’t he try? He promised us. He promised he would. Yeah, and he didn’t do it. Just like every other politician who promises to give us a fair deal.
Remember when Obama came in during the height of the mortgage backed security crisis and the housing collapse? Obama met with the bankers and said, I’m the one standing between you and the pitchforks, so you have to give me the control to do what I want. And he did the Dodd Frank bill which essentially legalized all the swindles, the, the speculative swindles that went into the mortgage backed securities crisis. So as Trump said, anything about the control of credit in the hands of four or five major banks. Oh, that’s not even. Yeah, well, the Epstein thing, you know, you look at like Cash Patel and Dan Bongino who were really vocal about all that stuff.
Then they got into office and it’s like they were terrified. I mean you, you looked at the Fox News interview they did, which was a softball interview, but they look like they were hostages being interrogated. They looked terrified. And these are supposed to be two tough guys. You know, you listen to them talk outside of before they got in office and Bon Gino now they’re like tough guys and they were terrified. That told me they did not have any power and that they were being threatened. Well, if you look at the British Empire, how it works, it has a financial side and it has an intelligence side.
MI6, Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, RUSI, the Royal United Services Institute. If you want to know what the policy for the United States is going to be, read the papers that come from there. Now in Trump’s first term. And as you may remember, Sarah, I was a defender of Trump on Russiagate and all the attacks against him because they were attacks to keep him from doing what he said he was going to do. He actually in the 2016 campaign promised he would carry out Glass Steagall banking regulation, bring it back to stop the consolidation of the global banking system.
He never did that. Once he got in, he never really made a deal with Putin. Why? Because he was under constant attack. I just don’t know if the presidents have any that much power. I think it’s, it’s almost like a theater or something. They get in there and they really don’t have the power to do this. They make it look like they’re the most powerful person in the world and they’re in there and they’re controlled by others. Well, they are. So why don’t they use the bully pulpit as Teddy Roosevelt called it, Go in front of the American people and tell the truth.
Remember he was going to declassify the Kennedy assassination papers, the 911 papers. He never did. Why? If he’s threatened with being killed and he’s running for president, promising to do something, get the security around you and go on television and say, here are the people who are destroying our country. He could have done that. Well, I think once you’re at your age you know, if you’re in your 80s and you’re there, it’s like, why not? He might be afraid his whole family is going to get killed. Well, and, and that is a real fear. They actually have tried to kill him.
And so I, I don’t think we should. That’s, that’s why I’m not just here attacking Trump. I’m attacking the system. The system that he’s become a spokesman for now, the war system. There’s no reason for the United States to join Israel in a war against Iran. Iran was not a threat to American interests. Iran agreed to not have a nuclear weapon. And it was. Our own intelligence community repeatedly had access to investigation and said, as Tulsi Gabbard said recently as six months ago, Iran does not have a nuclear weapons program. So why do we use the Netanyahu line that Iran is weeks away from having an atom bomb? That was to have the war.
Well, one, one, I, I said that to Tom Luongo recently and he goes, yeah, but here he goes, that’s, that’s wrong. He pushed back. I’m pushing back on you. I disagree with you vehemently. And I said, okay, how do you, what do you think? And he says that Iran, once they got a nuclear weapon, we are in a situation where they could control the straight and we could do. There’s nothing we could do at that point. It’ll be like all the other countries. That was his argument before that. But that’s a false argument. Before the war, the strait was open.
Let me tell you why there’s a war against Iran. Iran believes in defending the interests of the Palestinian people while the rest of the Arab government sold them out. The sheiks and others are so entitled, or so feel entitled to being billionaires from the oil money. They didn’t stand up for the Palestinians. The Iranians did. They stood up for the people of southern Lebanon. So what? Secondly, go ahead. Iran became a member of the Bricks. People don’t know this. Iran was joining with Russia, China, India to try to move away from the petrodollar system. This is the other underlying element.
The existing empire that’s ruled the world for 500 years is collapsing. Look at the United States, $40 trillion in debt right now. We’re struggling. So. But the rest of the world, I wouldn’t say all of the rest of the world, but a large chunk of the world does not respect what we do or say, and they’re not going to follow through. Now when you, this is where it gets for good reason. But this is where it gets fusing. When you listen to like npr. I do it on purpose because I want to, I want to hear where the culture is at.
They are saying those same things that you are, so. No, they’re not. No, no. How is it different? Let me, I want to understand how it’s different because they are saying there, there’s an, there are some underlying currents of them supporting academic, you know, all the academia and the big institutions and all that, don’t get me wrong, but when it comes to the rest of the world not supporting, supporting the, the Trump’s tariffs and they’re saying all of that. Well, that, that’s because the rest of the world is not supporting the tariffs because they don’t see that as a solution.
The problem is not tariffs. The United States pushed through a world trade system called globalization. They did it because of the American corporations and the British and the German corporations. They at the same time went with environmentalism. Two terrible mistakes that undermine the ability of the, the physical economy to produce new value, as you call it, entrepreneurship to develop the new technologies that will increase productivity. So that’s because they went after CO2 and it was stupid. Instead of things that actually hurting our oceans and things. But you know, because the plankton really is decreasing, there’s some solutions we need to do.
But they were being stupid. They were stupid, but they were also stupid when it came to how you deal with debt. Now the United States, the way we deal with debt is we bail out the biggest swindlers and we crush the entrepreneurs and the homeowners and the small guys. Now here’s where it gets controversial. And I had a chance to just travel in China and see this with my own eyes. China is a, is the future. It’s cities that are clean. It’s, you know, high speed rail Systems. You’ve got 800 million people lifted out of poverty while the middle class in the west is going into poverty.
Many of you have heard of me talking about my weight loss journey and how I’ve lost over 25 pounds with peptides. Specifically with retatrutide. Reddit. True Tide is a next generation GLP1. They value science, they value engineering, they value the actual education. Now Moscow is the same way. It’s a clean, well run city compared to what it was. They, it’s different, but they don’t. I don’t like credentialism, which is what we’re doing in this, in this world or in this part of the world.
And I do think China and some of those places are into credentialism too, instead of meritocracy. Well, I, I would urge you to go visit China. I did in 2019. I spent. Okay. And you probably saw some things that, that were eye opening. I did, I think I, I, I got, it was the Silk Road tour and I got to see a lot of things and I, I, I saw many different perspectives. I think that there’s, that’s a culture that’s scared because the people were afraid to talk because I tried to talk to people and it was really weird how they were afraid to talk to me.
I also saw entrepreneurism that was growing there. I think that everybody has their own light that they, and lens that they want to see stuff in. And I think that there’s positives and negatives to what’s going on in, in China. And I think that you either want to look at it as a lens of this is all great or you want to look at it as a lens as a totalitarian, totalitarian nightmare. And I don’t think either is right. As Bill Binney said, the surveillance system they have in China, which, the scoring system and everything else, we are way ahead of them in our technology.
But we plant it and we make it look like they’re ahead of us. And it’s not true. No. We also have the illusion that we’re free when we’re not. That’s right. Yeah, but they are very controlled there. They don’t get to see what we get. This, their, their freedom is, they don’t have freedom of speech like we have here. They are more controlled, old. So it’s not all rosy there. Well, I’m not saying it’s all rosy, but I got to speak at A university, the Shanghai Institute of American Studies. And there was a wide diversity of responses from the students in front of their professors, some of whom were members of the Communist Party.
They weren’t afraid to speak out. They were asking about China, about bricks, about US Policy. They were very open. And I would I find that more open than I think you might find in the United States right now. Well, yeah, but let me go back to the, the central issue here, the empire system is self perpetuating in that it’s generating credit against the loot they’re taking from parasitical looting of foreign countries. And now increasingly the American people with taxes. And what do our tax dollars go to? Well, we’re about to have a one and a half trillion dollar defense budget.
We have a trillion dollar defense budget last year. How could we run out of systems, defense systems with a trillion dollar defense budget? The so called artificial intelligence, the AI systems, these are mostly surveillance, the, the sophisticated camera technology, metadata collection. You know, I had a chance to meet with people in, in Great Britain who are working on the fight against Palantir. The metadata collection centers that have every bit of information on you so that they’re now, they’re now saying they can predict what you’re going to do. Well, but they did before. I mean Bill Benny was talking about it, they did before.
Now they’re just being more sophisticated about it and people are starting to wake up to it. The data centers are becoming like a symbolic, it’s symbolic, it’s not even real because part of it is. But the data centers are symbolic for the average person. But it’s not going to solve the AI surveillance problem to fight it. Although I’m glad they’re fighting it. But. Well we, but we have to fight it. Those of us who know something like you, Sarah, you know a lot about the way the censorship works in terms of the Internet. Your voice needs to be heard.
The, the voice of, of, of people who are understanding the, the effect of social control. And they don’t even have to tell you in the United States, don’t say it. People begin to fear they’re going to lose their jobs, they’re going to lose everything. And so they shut up. And as there, there’s a quiet, Go ahead, say as a result, consensus. Well, there’s a quiet consensus. And the people like me and you and others who have voices that, that make sense that people would listen to, those are the ones who, that’s why I say it’s beyond just regular censorship.
It’s not just because I don’t support an agenda. It’s because people who are articulate and can make sense to people are the ones that are being shut down. And I also think that even if they do agree with me, they just don’t want anybody but themselves to have the power or to have other people know that they agree with you. You know that Lyndon LaRouche was a victim of persecution the former Attorney General Ramsey Clark said was the worst case of government persecution he ever experienced in his lifetime. And in his studies, Larouche was given a five year prison term.
Actually he was given a 15 year prison term. With what? Conspiracy to one man. Conspiracy to defraud the irs. Now how did he do that? What did he really do? Was it completely fabricated or did he do something that they use as a colonel? No, he did nothing. He did nothing. He filed his papers. They just said they were false papers. They didn’t. The, the responsibility made it up. Yeah, because he originally, following originally, originally he was accused of defrauding his contributors. But they couldn’t prove that in court because the people they said we defrauded all said they gave the money willingly.
Well, that’s what they’re doing to all the crypto entrepreneurs. They’re all in prison, most of them, or they’re all being attacked. There’s a guy I had, Keith McHenry, who has this program, over a thousand chapters, feeding the homeless. It’s called Food Foods Not Bombs. He was actually classified at the same level as Antifa, his organization. And all they do is feed people. They’re not like, we’re not even protesting. We’re just trying to feed people. So there’s some weird crap that goes on. Let me come back to this. The overview though, to just make clear what I’m talking about with Larouche is talking about when we talk about the British system, it’s the idea that you put the influence and interests of the corporations, the corporate cartels ahead of everyone else and as long as they have a flow of money, they’re happy.
And you see the, the growing disparity between the super wealthy and the declining middle class and there’s no one really speaking for the middle class. Are we becoming, are we becoming a point where, I mean I, I see that as a third world situation where you have a small percentage of really wealthy and everybody else is. Yeah. And everybody else is poor. I think we’re moving towards a worldwide situation like that. And the idea of smart cities where you have gated communities for the wealthy and everyone else lives in a kind of slum where you have cameras everywhere.
This is a neo feudal system. That’s why it’s proper to call it an imperial system. Now the antithesis to the imperial system is where you have institutions of self government, where it’s the people who are sovereign. And the people may make mistakes but that’s, they’re entitled to that. The, you know, we try to establish a system in the United States which is oriented toward the improvement of the great majority and that’s been lost. Now how do we fight this when we have AI that’s automating people’s jobs and taking over big sectors? I mean it’s going to get really weird.
Well, that’s, that’s why I think it’s important that we identify what the source of the problem is. And it’s a financial control, the, the ability to control the, the supply of money. The credit system, the American system was based on Alexander Hamilton’s idea of a national bank in which credit was made available to entrepreneurs to. He called it the Society for Useful Manufacturers. And that, that circles back to what I was saying with the entrepreneurs. And the flow of credit is not going to any of these people. But that’s how our country became a powerful economy.
That’s right. And today we think it’s powerful because we read about the billionaires who can fly anywhere they want and do anything they want. The majority can’t. And the question is who will speak to that majority about the cause of the problem? The cause of the problem is not China, it’s not Russia, it’s not Iran, it’s not North Korea. It’s the inability of the American people to think critically about what’s being done to us because of the media control and the censorship and the bad education. And I think critically is, is becoming worse. And is it like the Roman time would give them bread and circus? I mean that’s what it looks like.
They’re just creating this circus environment. I spoke with someone who’s a Harvard language professor the other day and he said they’ve done studies that show that the average person’s vocabulary has shrunk by 30%. The number of words they know and use. 30%. Since the 1980s, people don’t read books anymore. The whole Internet, social media is controlling the mind. And if you read the studies that were done by the people who did this, they intended to do that. William Sergeant’s Battle for the Mind. Go back to that. The, the brainwashing that was done in the 1950s. Well, I did that 10 part series on mind control and fifth generation warfare.
I felt this need. I had to do it. It was kind of weird. Harley and I and I did this 10 part series that talks about all this stuff, but when I remember that I felt like. And that’s what we’re in the middle of now. We were in the middle of it then, but holy crap, right now. But I taught at the University of Minnesota in 2016. I. There’s multiple things that I saw from students and one thing is when they wrote papers, their papers were awful. My daughter who was in high school, who was at a good school learning how to write, could write enormously better.
I always thought when I was a college student I wasn’t the best writer, but my writing was. I’m a pretty decent writer now. But as a college kid back then I compared myself to what these students were and I was like, holy crap. I mean they don’t know. They didn’t. It was like somebody who was in fifth grade writing papers. The other thing I noticed and I actually did a created a section because of this. I couldn’t get my class, not all of them, but a large enough portion to pay attention, like to actually have. And it wasn’t their fault.
I don’t, they didn’t have the attention span. So I did a section on how to gain a larger percentage, how to be better at focusing and having a longer attention span. Because if you don’t do this, this is going to hurt you for the rest of your life. So you might hate me, you might hate this class, but this is a skill you need to succeed in life. And it was, it was incredible. Well, I’m here in Germany which supposedly has a great education system, the Humboldt system. It’s gone. My children, to get them to read a book, you really almost have to bribe them.
Once they read, they get excited, but it’s hard to get them to do that. Now the, the, a lot of this is intentional to bombard people with symbols and images and, and fast moving things, the way the Internet works so that you can’t concentrate. The idea that being a multitasker is good. Well, it is good to be able to do several things at once, but not at the expense of thinking. That’s right. And I think this is the problem, one of the problems we face. And to come back to this question of the, the British system, the Anglo American system, we have still people who understand the importance of what it means to be a sovereign republic.
And Trump played on that with his, his make America great again. What was great about America was that it was the people that were sovereign and the. The people could make decisions and, and could have open debate and free discussion with. Without fear of being censored. And when you lose that, you lose the ability for self government. And that’s the problem we have. And people then choose from column A or column B. They, they choose their support, what they’re going to support based on the crowd they’re hanging with. This is the same thing that’s done with nations.
This is what geopolitics is about. How do you get the Afghanistan against Pakistan? How do you get India against Pakistan? Everywhere the British ruled except the United States, you have these splits and these splits which are used to prevent countries from uniting. We’re split now, though. We are very split now. We are, we are. And maybe. And that seems like it’s by design. It’s really dumb. Some of the split that we’re having. I don’t even. And we, we can’t allow the split to be a personal split between this character versus that character. It’s got to be based on ideas.
You can. I love the idea of art. I love arguing ideas. That’s why I’m debating you a little bit here, because I wanted to. I wanted to bring in some of my other interviews and their ideas and debate you on those. Even if I don’t, it doesn’t matter what I think on that. But that’s important for us to establish. But debating people on whether you’re black or white or female or whatever, it’s like, so stupid. Yeah. And that’s the way you divide people so that you make them feel helpless, learn helplessness. You start to think, well, maybe my values are wrong or why don’t people have the same values as I do? And people get attached to what they think is their identity.
But, you know, it’s. I remember when I was going through the late 60s and I started growing my hair long, and my father said, why are you doing that? And I said, because that’s who I am. That’s my individualism. And he said, all your friends do the same thing. Exactly. You’re not individual. Everyone around you does it. My children are going through something similar and I bring up that same question and they. They laugh and then they say, that’s true. But then they continue to go with the crowd. Well, yeah, because they’re young. Right. They’re teenagers.
Young. Yeah. But there’s an element of growing up and being able to have an ability to choose an identity or to make an identity based on Principle and character. That’s the best education system, the Greek education system, the Platonic system, where the idea is you develop the individual character. This is what Friedrich Schiller meant by the aesthetical education. You discover what is most beautiful about human beings. Is there creative potential if they’re free. If they’re free, yeah. And governments must protect that because that creative potential may lead to cantankerous debates. But they’re debates from people who have a commitment to a principle.
That’s right. And I, I have this slogan I use quite a bit from Sholem Aleichem, the Yiddish writer who said, the truth never dies, but it lives a miserable life. And what LaRouche always said is our job is to make that life less miserable so the truth can come out. And to me that’s the essence of statecraft. And we don’t have that in our country anymore. And it’s a terrible tragedy, but we could get it back. And the way to get it back is recognize that every country has human beings, all of whom have a potential, a God given potential.
And the potential should be allowed to develop. And we should work to help other countries as well as our own to develop the potential of all human beings. Well, I think we need to work on our own and then not get in the way of people developing elsewhere. Unless you. Unless they’re getting in our way. Defense is real. People aren’t angels all over the world. But we don’t need to get into people’s way of thriving. That. That’s B.S. yeah. And, and we don’t need a new development of new tactical nuclear weapons for the next war. They are working on that at the expense.
At the expense of education, health care and infrastructure. That’s very serious. Okay. Where can people follow you? Learn more from you. You’re. You’re. You’re the editor of the Intelligence Network report, right? That one’s freaking awesome. Are you still it, still the editor? I’m. I’m the head of the American Political Intelligence Section of the Executive Intelligence Review. Long title, but it just means that I’m in charge of the debates of what we cover. You used to be the senior editor that dirty you kind of. I thought, then you stepped on and said, God, this is too much freaking work.
I’m now the president of the LaRouche organization. Okay. So you said, okay, I’m doing that. I can’t do with this too. I have all kinds of hats. But the main thing is I work hard to try and get out, get myself to recognize truth and help other People find the capacity in their own minds to determine between truth and, and manipulation. And you’re really respected around the world and I know you speak all over the place. And one of the things I said before we got on air, it’s amazing how those of us from this country who are speaking and saying smart things are respected outside this country more than we are inside this country.
Yeah, that’s true, it is, it’s, it’s a sad kind of situation. But that’s because we’re in a bubble of, we’re in a psychological warfare medium war. Hybrid warfare is the technical term. Hybrid warfare refers to how ideas are, are stunted and, and thinking is manipulated and it’s connected now to lethality of the new artificial intelligence. You know, the, the AI companies are building destructive weapons systems. Yeah. Not just concerned with language and, and it’s bad, it is so powerful though. And I, I say the consensus they have, they use, use a consensus of what’s out there as truth.
And that consensus can be based on psychological warfare or hybrid like you’re saying. Next thing you know, you got these AIs. Even if the engineers don’t directly programming program them, if they’re using the consensus that’s planted everywhere, they can still be a weapon. And here’s one thing to keep in mind, Sarah. The AI bubble is going to pop. It will, it will. It’s based on the same thing, same principle as the mortgage backed security bubble. But AI is not going to go away. It’s just, it’s going to pop like year 2000. Like the dot com bubble, it’s going to pop, but it’s still going to.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We have to control those things. We have to get engaged and we have to be able to critically think. Yeah. And we need a credit system which honors the idea that there’s no such thing as a bad idea until it’s tested. And we have to have a capability for the entrepreneurial spirit to be free. That’s the key. I really think the entrepreneurial spirit that we are suppressing needs to be free. And it’s just so sad because that’s, I mean that’s what I spent my, you know, I taught entrepreneurship at the university and I, I built companies and I’m just watching everything just be totally suppressed.
And it’s very sad. But I gotta tell you how much I appreciate you. I, we’ve been talking for years. You’ve become a friend of mine. I just really appreciate you staying in this fight, doing everything you can, the best that you can. To get information out there. Well, and I appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. And sometimes I wish we could talk more often. Yeah. Yeah. And we probably should get more going. Okay. Yes, we agree. Thank you, harley. And have a wonderful rest of your day. Sa.
