There are many relevant points to review here. These points were taught to us through our religious affiliations, in our formal educational process in schools and universities, and what our parents and informal influences may have been. It is the collective total of these that have formulated our beliefs about life before birth. I can tell you that I probably was no different than the majority of the world. I lived my life, but what I was taught to believe as truth, instead of challenging our mind, to come to the knowledge as to what is really the truth.
In our religious settings, we are taught that there was a supreme being. Being is not a physical being, but something of supreme powers that created the universe and all that is within. Based upon the specific religion, we are taught some differences about how this occurred, but all agree that it happened. Given this belief, I stated a belief here because most of us have blindly accepted this belief without knowing the real truth. All religions have come to understand that the spiritual world existed before the creation of the universe. This belief, however, is supported in the ancient writings, as well as translations of these throughout time.
We are told from the ancient writings that as part of the creation, the creator created the angels as part of the creation of heaven, as defined in the Torah in the first chapter of Genesis. Whether we look in the Torah, Old Testament, angels are called malak, or in the Greek books, New Testament, calling the angels agelos, we find that the meaning in both languages is the same, messenger. The specific timing of angels creation have not yet been revealed, but if we look to the King James Bible in Job 38 verses 4 through 7, we are told that the sons of God shouted for joy when he laid out the foundations of the earth.
Given this text, we can determine that probably created the angels right after creating the heavens and before he created the earth. Throughout the ancient texts and all the subsequent translations, we are told of the use of angels as the messengers of God. It was God’s angel Gabriel who came to earth to the Virgin Mary to speak to her about giving birth to Jesus. Angels are spirits and according to the ancient texts, we are told that these spirits never die and are one with the creator. They are able to think for themselves like humans.
Therefore, even in the realms of the spiritual world, they are able to make choices about their spiritual and physical experience. Not a lot was written in ancient texts or in subsequent translations to provide a solid foundation about the subject of human spirits existing before birth. As seen in many other accounts in these ancient texts and translations, it was not until our time that scientific evidence determines the truths about life and how it was told in writings. For instance, we were told in the Kabbalah, Torah, Quran and Christianity’s books that we were made in the image of God.
But what did that mean? It was not until recently that science charted our genetic code and applied our code to the actual codes of our creator, what that really meant. It was not until we discovered through quantum physics that particles do not create more particles. Rather, they are said to proceed from what are described as waves of energy. This is extremely important in understanding the creation itself, previous differences in understanding the theories of religion, theology and science. And what about the recent discovery of Noah’s Ark? Before all these and many more that have been made, we had to take what ancient writings told us and subsequent translations on pure faith.
It was not until man, under the commission of our creator, as identified in Genesis 17.1, began to perfect ourselves that we came to discover and understand that what we have been told in these ancient texts are truth. So it is with the study of life before birth. There are not many distinct, the operable writings in the ancient texts about this, but there has been a lot of discoveries along the way since they were written. However, as discoveries are made and we go back to ancient texts, we can then thread the writings into the meanings they have for us.
Let us look at what this means as far as our relationship with this life before birth. Before our birth, the only relationship we experienced was our relationship with our God. But since we were, at that time, non-physical and therefore non-resistant, we experienced no discernible separation and therefore no discernible relationship between ourselves and God. We are told in Ephesians 1, verses 4 through 11, that we were with God before the foundation of the world, according as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known unto us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, even in Him, in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will.
In our life before birth we were with source of one mind, in loving harmony with the spiritual realm, knowing of everything and able to see life as it really is, pure energy, pure love. Thank you for joining us in this exploration of understanding life before physical birth. Until next time, remember to keep the faith, stay strong and continue to shine your light in the world.
