Hello, my name is Paul, and I am the voiceover for a ministry provided to you by Jim Pugue at God is Government, called Your Daily Bread, taken from Christ’s teaching of the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6, verse 11. This is a daily devotion ministry, focused not only on uplifting Scripture, but Scripture that will grow your spiritual connection with Christ. We hope that you receive these devotions to uplift you, encourage you, but most importantly, advance your knowledge base of the Holy Scriptures. Today’s focus discussion will be on understanding the law of the kingdom.

This law is the law of direction, or the how-to-act law, or the how-to-think law. It explains to us why we are to care and love one another. This law contains the rules by which we are to live our lives while here in the physical form. This law tells us that the only thoughts we should have in this physical world are thoughts of healing. Healing in this sense is of the mind, for it is the mind which controls our every thought, action, communication, whether we are sick or healthy, loving or hateful, getting or giving, caring about ourselves or not, and many more things.

At the root of all thought is to heal of mind. This healing is not only of our mind, but those of all people. This is the calling that Jesus made when He told us to follow Him. He would make us fishers of men and heal the mind of men to see the way of God. We deal with a dual mind, one that was given to us by God, universal communication system, and the other we created called ego, physical communication system. God’s man is nothing but truth, seeing everything as if we are seeing God Himself.

The ego mind is full of perceptions that we develop when we decide that we want to control our life. This is the separation from God as spoken about in the biblical teachings, regardless of what religion you may affiliate with. When we see ourselves or when we look upon others as being sick, we perceive ourselves as not whole and therefore in need of whatever. By doing so, we separate ourselves from the Kingdom of God. We obscure the Kingdom from our mind and our body. Sickness is not of the Kingdom. It is a perception we give from our ego, perceiving what is not of God.

So to heal, whether it be incorrect thoughts about the truth of God or from illness to our bodies, is to share the connection with the Holy Spirit within us. It is this connection which intercedes for us to God, which through us then works the miracles required. When we are connected with the Holy Spirit, we are now within the Kingdom. And, in doing so, the Holy Spirit restores its wholeness in our mind, links the control of our physical ego mind to that of our Spirit. We are unified with God. A Course of Miracles tells us that, outside of the Kingdom, the law that prevails inside our inner soul is adapted to what you project you believe.

This is its teaching form, because outside the Kingdom, learning is essential. This form implies that you will learn what you are from what you have projected onto others, and therefore believe they are. In the Kingdom, there is no teaching or learning, because there is no belief. There is only certainty. God and his sons, in the surety of being, know that what you extend, share, give, you are. That form of the law is not adapted at all, being the law of creation. God himself created the law by creating by it. And his sons, who create like him God, follow it gladly, knowing that the increase of the Kingdom depends on it, just as their own creation did.

We came into this life knowing this law, but the ego mind has translated this law for its own purpose and now truth. We cannot change our minds nor live in the Kingdom by ourselves, because our minds, yes, our right mind that of God and our ego mind made from us, are conflicted. Our mind cannot be faithful to one meaning, and will therefore always change the meaning to what we want it to be, our perspective. This is the reason the Holy Spirit was provided to us. It is the Holy Spirit’s purpose to translate the laws of the Kingdom to their original meaning, regardless of what language we speak in the physical world.

God’s law of creation does not involve the teaching of truth to us, to convince us to do what he requires from this law. The reason is that the Kingdom is only of truth, and it rests only on the knowledge of what truth is. This is our inheritance of God, and it requires no teaching us to learn about it at all. It is only when we have disinherited what is rightfully ours, the Kingdom of God and all that is in it, that we now have to learn out of necessity. Because we have separated ourselves from the right mind of God, we now have to learn.

However, we do not have to learn to do new things. All we have to do is learn that we have a memory, and in that memory are all the laws of God and how to co-create our life experiences. This is why the Holy Spirit is teaching us a lesson in remembering not a new skill. There is no confusion in the Kingdom because there is only one meaning. It is in this meaning we seek to be taught by the Holy Spirit, to remember and forget about everything we have clouded our memory with our ego.

It is in these laws that we must abide. In doing so, our Source’s entire universe is at our disposal. It becomes our playground of life. The will of our Source does not vacillate. When we are not at peace, it is because we choose to not believe He is not within us. Yet we are told He is in all things. His laws govern us because they govern everything. We cannot exempt anything in this world from His laws. We can disobey them, and when we do, we feel lonely and helpless, because we are denying ourselves everything of this universe.

Not too long ago, a group of enlightened people came to know these laws in modern-day captions labelled the Law of Attraction, the Law of Deliberate Creation, the Law Art of Allowing. For these three modern-day reconfigurations bring these mental laws, as principles within them, in an effort to apply them to our lives more simply. Each and every one of us is a manifestation of this single universal consciousness. There is profound truth in the ancient teaching that we are all one. We are all connected, not only to each other, but to all of nature and to everything in the universe.

This is the Law of One. What you do to others, you do to yourself. The way you treat nature, you in fact treat yourself. The separateness you see is an illusion of the ego. The true nature of reality is non-dualistic, meaning that while things may appear distinct, they are not separate. Mind your reality. Looking again, God creates Adam and Eve. He places them in the Garden of Eden to tend to the garden. He puts in the garden two trees, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

In accordance with his own law of free will, God gave Adam, humanity, a choice. We could eat of every tree of the garden, except those two, and be covered underneath God’s plan with all his sovereignty. Or we could eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and go it alone. We must realise that God’s kingdom is eternal. He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, whether we recognise him as such or not. We can only be part of his kingdom when we recognise him as our king.

When Adam ate fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that Eve gave him, we find that immediately there was no delay. They were outside of God’s kingdom plan, and the boundaries and blessings he had established for them. God’s sovereignty. Let us make an analogy here, so you can clearly see what God means by his kingdom. If you purchase a home, and I am fortunate enough to visit you in your home, and I tell you that I do not like the placement of your furniture, or the colour of paint you chose for your walls, it is irrelevant to you, because it is your house to do with it as you want.

It is your kingdom. Let us take this further. Many of us still have teenagers at home, or can surely remember as though it was yesterday, how it was around your home with teenagers. They were constantly pushing the boundary of rules, and even sometimes wanting to set their own rules in your house. So how did you feel when your teenagers pushed the rules of your house, your kingdom? When people want to come into your kingdom, and begin to set up shop with their rules and their agenda, we know what happens. There is a clash.

In fact, more often than not, a war breaks out, because you cannot have two kings in one kingdom. If we need it spelled out, God does that in Matthew 6.24 and Luke 16 verse 13 KJV, where it says, no man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. He cannot serve God and mammon. What God did is set up his kingdom on earth, gave humanity dominion on earth to rule in his kingdom authority. Instead, what we see happening right here in our own backyard, and what we have seen for millennia, is people demanding to serve two masters, themselves, and occasionally, when it is convenient, God.

And it is not just the heathen acting like spoiled brats, it is also immature believers, or so they call themselves. They want to bring the earth’s rules and their personal views into his kingdom, and expect God to give his approval. Think about this for a moment. What we see in these laws of creation is the foundation of the keys of the kingdom that we are to use to fulfil our divine purpose on this earth as a heaven citizen, living in a foreign land. We are to be a spiritual source in human form to reflect, replicate, and rule over earth as God intended us to do.

Thank you for joining us in this exploration of the law of the kingdom. Until next time, remember to keep the faith, stay strong, and continue to shine your light in the world.
