Summary

➡ This Bible study focuses on the book of Ephesians, specifically chapter six, and its teachings about the armor of God. The study emphasizes that the armor of God is not physical, but a way of life, and the importance of understanding and applying Christ’s principles. It highlights the need for personal study of the scriptures, conviction in the truth, and living a Christlike life. The study also discusses the concept of the shoes of the gospel, which symbolize preparedness for spiritual battles.
➡ The text emphasizes the importance of spiritual preparedness and strength, drawing parallels with Roman soldiers’ physical readiness for battle. It suggests that just as soldiers need sturdy shoes for long marches, individuals need a strong foundation of faith and understanding of scripture to navigate life’s challenges. The text also highlights the power and protection that comes from having God on one’s side, and the need to stand firm in faith, even when faced with temptations or adversities. Lastly, it encourages individuals to confront evil boldly, reminding them of their invincibility when they have God on their side.
➡ This text emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility in our spiritual journey. It suggests that we are our own biggest obstacle, and our mindset determines our life’s course. The text also highlights the unconditional love of God, demonstrated through the sacrifice of His son, Jesus Christ. It encourages us to live in the present, not the past, and to stand firm in our faith, confident in God’s strength and support.
➡ This text emphasizes the importance of living in the present and not dwelling on the past. It encourages us to be bold and confident in our faith, using the power given to us by God to overcome challenges. It also stresses the need for self-assessment, asking if we are content with our sins or if we are willing to fight for our convictions. The text concludes by reminding us that if we are steadfast in our faith, we can face any battle with confidence, knowing that God is on our side.
➡ This text discusses the importance of determination and preparation in overcoming challenges, using the metaphor of a Roman soldier’s armor. It emphasizes the need for both defensive and offensive strategies, represented by the soldier’s belt, breastplate, shoes, shield, helmet, and sword. The shield, in particular, is highlighted as a tool for full protection, capable of blocking all attacks. The text concludes by stressing the importance of understanding one’s enemy and being ready to fight when the time comes.
➡ The text discusses the concept of spiritual warfare, comparing it to a physical battle. It suggests that Lucifer, like a military commander, directs his demons to carry out his plans. The text emphasizes the importance of focusing on combating Satan himself, rather than his minions. It also highlights the need for self-awareness and understanding one’s weaknesses to build a strong defense against Satan’s attacks, and the dangers of dissatisfaction and desire for more, which can open doors to sin.
➡ The text discusses the concept of temptation and sin, suggesting that when we sin, we are believing a lie and not trusting in God’s commandments. It emphasizes the importance of understanding our weaknesses and building a defense against them, using faith as a shield. The text also highlights the importance of being content with ourselves as God’s creation and not seeking to change what God has given us. Lastly, it suggests that understanding who Christ is can help us understand ourselves and receive blessings from heaven.
➡ The text discusses the concept of free will and the choice between living in the physical world or in spiritual heavenly places. It emphasizes the importance of being content with what we have, as everything belongs to God, including ourselves. The text also highlights the need for obedience and faith to access blessings, comparing it to following school rules. Lastly, it expresses gratitude for the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the blessings received through faith in Christ.

Transcript

Welcome. This is our Thursday night Bible study. We’re into the book of Ephesians, as you all know. And we’re into chapter six, the last chapter of Ephesians. And we have, there, we have a short amount of, of passages to look at until we’re end of re of Ephesians and move back into Revelation. And we’re doing this in conjunction with Acts, which is very, very important because Ephesians is an individual viewpoint on your application of Christ’s principles. And Acts is the collective whole as the church. Same principle, different application as you’re going to see as you get into your own studies.

But we’re, we began, we began the last week with the second and, and I’m sorry, the third and fourth tool set in this thing called putting on the armor of God. And we laid out a great foundation last week. And then for those of you who need to, to go back and review that, it’s already posted out there. And, and what we began to get into at the latter stage of last week was the, the shoes of the Gospel. And so we’re gonna, I’m gonna back up a little bit just to, you know, provide cohesiveness from last week to this week and we’ll, we’ll get into this and we’ll probably finish this out tonight and then get into the helmet of salvation next week and we’ll be in there for a while.

Okay? Because that’s the crust of the matter. Do you understand? You don’t get this unless you have salvation. You don’t get this even if you have salvation if you’re not sanctified. So in your knowledge based set, you have to understand the position that you have to be in. Not physically, guys, because the Scripture doesn’t speak to you on a physical level. You have to be in the position of spiritually accepting everything that Christ has given you in scripture. And when you get to that point and then you begin to apply it now you’re obedient. And in that obedience is when you get access to all of this.

And we talked about that last time. We’re going to talk about it many, many more times. And we talk about it every week. Matter of fact, no, not just every week. We pretty much talk about it every time we’re together. Obedience, obedience, obedience. All right, so in this process of understanding this concept of the shoes of the gospel, You got to remember that this is not physical armor. This is a way of life. Okay, we talked about that last time. We talked about that for at least two weeks. The concept of putting on the armor of God is a way of life, not a tool set for, you know, clothes, swords, whatever.

Because your battle is not in flesh and blood. Those are. Those things are for flesh and blood. Bladder battle. Your battle is against the spiritual component of the be a spiritual being, that which you’re supposed to operate in. So if you don’t get that, then you’re not going to interpret the scripture correctly. This is not about physical armor. This is all about lifestyle. So the first thing you need to know is the truth. It’s the truth. And where do you get the trade? You don’t get it from a textbook and you don’t get it from going to school, nor do you get it going to a church, by the way.

You only get it from reading the scriptures and allowing Christ to reveal himself in the scripture. As second Timothy 2, 2:15 says, study to show yourself. Approved. You study. Don’t some tell. Have somebody else tell you. You study. And the one thing that I can tell you is, is, is. You know what? I love this lady so much. I love Billy R. So much. She self studies and she gets it, okay? I love to have my conversations with her, all right? And there’s been many times we’ve had coffee in the morning talking, and we’ve talked for not a few minutes.

We’ve talked hours, okay? Because the process of getting to the end game is your knowledge set. Your knowledge set, not somebody else’s. That’s the reason why the scripture says test. And I challenge you. Everything I tell you, you ought to test. So because that’s what scripture tells you to do. Now, I don’t have any problem on my end because I know it’s truth and I know the Holy Spirit’s doing it just like he’s doing it tonight. But you test it for everybody. You are to test it. So the truth, and I said this last week, but I want you to really hone in this.

The truth is your conviction, Your convictions based upon your belief, right? There’s no way to. There’s no way in your knowledge base, in your mind, brain that you can convict yourself without some basis. If you have no basis, how are you going to be convicted? That’s an oxymoron. That’s like, okay, do I stop at the stop sign or do I roll through the stop sign? Well, what did the law teach you? Okay? You have to have a basis. And the basis of this is your subconscious mind. From a biological point, because it is that biological point that works with your heart brain, where Christ wrote What all of his laws in that convicts you for the truth.

And when you, when you get to the point of completely understanding the truth. See, that’s what conviction, conviction, all the whole thing about conviction is true. I want you guys to get that, all right? It does conviction get you to understanding sin? Get you to understanding when you go astray, get you understand evil, even wards off evil. That’s part of your offense, by the way. When you understand all of that, then you understand. Do you ready to go to battle? So it’s this one. If you’re still battling and don’t have no basis of combating the battles that you’re in, what’s the problem? Yeah, it’s you not studying.

In that process of the truth. You have to be committed to living it. You’re to be Christlike if you want the avenues that Christ had available to him in dealing with the enemy. The only way you’re going to get it is to be like him. And if you’re not like him, you can’t ward off the enemy. Now guys, this might seem very elementary and it. Oh by the way, it really is. It’s pretty simple. And I’ve said this all along. The application of the Bible to your physical life is very, very simple. Which master do you follow? That’s it.

That’s that simple. And whichever master you follow is where your learning is going to be. And you can’t have it both ways. So you have to be committed to living the truth. You protect yourself. You hear what I’m saying? You protect yourself by putting on holiness and righteousness. God works through man. Your choice to do what you want to do is your choice. That’s your free will. But scripture tells you exactly what you should be doing and how you should be doing it. All right, you’re to put on holiness and righteousness. That seems pretty simple. Define holiness and righteousness.

If you can’t define it, you can’t put it on. So what does this look like? Well, the primary problem with physical beings is the fact, the reason why we were lured into Lucifer’s economy. To be blunt with sex. Estar how many we are talking about this three to four times a week. It’s estar. Sensuality and all those other things, sexual promiscuity, etc. Etc. Etc. Those are things that this holiness and righteousness don’t look like. Self assessment. Who’s your mind? What do you watch? What do you read? Who do you talk to? Who do you follow? Foreign.

Put on Christ likeness. So the two pieces of the Armor that we’re going to look at tonight begins in verse 15. For having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of Peace. Having shot your feet with the preparation of gospel of peace. Can be very confusing to understand until you put it into biblical perspective. Remember Paul was using the Roman soldier to get into the mindset of the people at the time. And what he was using was, is the Roman soldiers preparedness to go to battle. I think in the society in which we live in today, and probably most societies in history, people understood the importance of having right shoes.

We talked about this last week and most particularly if you happen to be a soldier, because your whole ability to battle is the stability of your feet. Truths are important. If they’re important in any type of physical athletic contest, which is also war, then certainly they’re important in some kind of hand ofand Mortal Kombat as war. And we, if you recall from last week, we lost battles in our revolution because soldiers were barefoot. They had no ability to secure their feet in battle. Why? Because they wore out their shoes. Now apply it to your life. If you don’t constantly put in front of you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, if you don’t constantly put in front of you the word of God, you have no steadfast in your feet.

One, you have no foundation. See, what Paul is saying is you got to have foundation. So how you shot not your feet yourself is very important. What a shot is shot means what Steadfastness, stableness, secure, whatever. How you do that to you is very important. And see, the Roman Empire knew that or they wouldn’t have been able to conquer the nations they did. See, the Romans made sure that their soldiers with everything else they had to carry, remember it was very, very heavy armor that to stabilize him had to be the security of being able to stand.

And if you recall in ch. In chapter 6, verse 14, one of the things we’ve already looking at is standing firm. Right? Standing firm. How do you do that? Well, if you’re slipping in hand toand combat, that’s not good. If you can’t control your life on the things above and not the things of this earth, that is not good. Your focus is to what things on those things above, not the things of earth. Don’t associate with this earth. Think in the mind of God, put on Christ. Everything in your mindset ought to be of everything in heaven, not of this earth.

And most importantly, why? Because if you focused on heaven, then you don’t have to worry about this earth because one who’s got it Christ, has got it. Now, in Roman Empire they had long marches. Their shoes were vital. And because they marched so much, the shoes wore out. And when they wore out, they couldn’t do battle. Well, think about you spiritually. If you don’t constantly read scripture, what happens? You wear out. Why? Because now you’re dealing in the physical world, you wear out. And when you wear out, you can’t go to battle. There’s no way you go to battle.

Talk last time about how, how the war was in, physically worked. I mean, we talked about the ability that they set traps, that they had sticks in the ground. They had all this stuff. All right, Just think about your spiritual life for a moment. You’re walking physically through your life, you think everything’s okay, and all of a sudden you got a bear trap that snares you, cut you. Deep, put you into situations that you never think you’ll get out of. All right, that’s what Paul is talking about, your preparedness in this. You’re shouting of your feet, which means you’re shouting of your spirit filled life.

You have got to know what scripture says. If you don’t, you’re not prepared for battle. There’s no way you’ll end up on the right side of any battle. And that’s a sensual theme of the opening verses in Romans 5. Romans 5, verse 1 says, having been justified by faith, remember, you don’t get, you don’t produce your own faith. You’re given faith, that’s a gift at the time that you’re called of salvation. You get faith. God gives it to you. He get. Think about this. When God calls you, he gives you everything to do what he’s asking you to do.

Your preparedness. He gives you faith. He gives you understanding. He says, when you positively respond to this calling, I’m going to baptize you with the Holy Spirit. Which means that I’m. I paid your down payment. The Holy Spirit’s going to come inside of you, seal your spirit side up so you can’t be possessed or, or oppressed. He says, I got this. But, oh, we want to have it. See, that’s the difference. We want to control that process. So Romans 5:1, verse 1. Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Oh, peace. Peace only comes day by day if you’ve died daily to Christ. What’s dying daily? Getting rid of self. See, what does it mean to be peace with God? It simply Means that God is not our enemy. Oh, we thought God was just this loving God, unconditional love, whatever. No, he is enemy to sin. He hates sin. He judged sin. He makes you accountable for your sin even today. You know what I’m saying? You think you guys are getting away with something? Oh, just wait. Just wait. I When God begins to reveal himself and judge this world for what we have done, it is going to be traumatic.

We ain’t got to the judgment yet. And I pray every day that God has mercy because I You see what he did in the Old Testament. You see what he did with Sodom and Gomorrah. We’re seven times worse than Sodom and Gomorrah today. What do you think he’s going to do here? So peace in God means that God’s not your enemy, but God is your strength. We’ve talked many, many times about the power source that’s inside of you. Powers energy. Today I was writing about in John where he said that he’s the light inside the man who comes to earth.

Oh my gosh. I like to broke out and cried today. Why? That’s the metabolic light inside of you. When we learned in the last six months in our substack about the the worldwide medical associations telling us that at our center core is a metabolic light, where do you think that comes from? And for me, I’ve read this scripture, I read John I don’t know how many times, but it never got me until today. He’s the light that gives the life and he gives man the light that comes to this earth. It’s right there in scripture. He gives man light that comes to this earth.

Guys, it’s not rocket science. It’s just understanding scripture. And if you take it right back to Ephesians 6, 10 where Paul says be strong in the Lord and the strength of his might, it means he’s on your side. Especially after you’re saved and he comes inside of you. All he wants to use to let go, let go and that. And because of that we now can stand firm. Because we know that we are in reality and invincible. We have the Creator on our side. And if you understand scripture, there’s no evil that can, that can inhibit the Creator.

None. So Satan may come at us, tempting us one way or the other. We are firm in the great truth Scripture, that we are at peace. Oh my gosh, here it is. Peace. We can’t have peace unless you’re allowing him to control your peace with God. Therefore God is on your side. And I Have to think that that’s what Peter was in Peter’s mind when he grabbed his sword in the garden and whacked off the first available ear. Okay. What made him so strong? He was standing next to Christ. That’s what made him so strong. Oh, let’s just take and test this.

You have a crowd of protesters outside your house with bullhorns and everything. Every other condition of. Of immorality that exists with weapons. What are you going to do? What are you going to do? If they’re saying things like down with ice or go f ice or whatever, that doesn’t really attack you. Oh, but what did they start to do this week? Yeah, they begin to attack the very fundamentals of Jesus Christ. Now what are you going to do? Because in the scripture it says you go get. Be bold and you go confront evil. And you got to, you got to stand up for that which you believe in.

So are you going to run outside and just go into their face and say, you know what? You’re wrong. You know, what are you going to do? Do you realize that’s what Stephen did in Sanhedrin when he got stoned? What are you going to do? Are you willing to accept the fact that when you stand up for Christ you might be martyred? Because that’s what scripture says. But what’s your responsibility? What’s your obedience? Sit in your house and let it just go on? Absolutely not. You’re invincible when it comes to Jesus Christ. See, Satan might come at us, tempting us one way or another.

And we are to be firm in the great truths that we are peace with God. Therefore you know that God’s on your side. What made Peter feel so strong? Oh, Peter was a coward. Peter was a coward in human form. He said a good thing, but he didn’t fight a good fight. He ran. The reason why Peter was so strong was because Jesus is standing by his side. Why are you so strong? God says, I’ve given you ever blessing in heaven in Ephesians 1:3. That means you have ever power source like Jesus Christ had. What gives you the strength to do what you need to do? Oh, it’s Jesus Christ.

We’ve let’s just put that to bed. But the problem about it is you can’t access it. Why? Because your self IND indulgence in your human real. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s in your heart sealed or you feel like he’s standing beside you or sitting beside you. Like I like to talk to him sitting beside me when I was Driving a truck. All right, because it’s a nice conversation, great conversation. But I’m saying this. There’s absolutely no way in the world you’re going to survive in that environment. Why? Because your self indulgence is in yourself. You understand scripture, you apply it, not spiritually, but physically.

And then you wonder why you fell. I can do anything. Why? Because I’m invincible. Seriously wrong. So you have nothing to fear. And we talked about this. If God is for us, what’s the risk? Who’s against us? Well, I’m going to tell you who’s against you. Should be no surprise to you. It’s you. It’s you. Everything that happens in your life is based upon you. You determine what happens to you and you determine it by the mindset by which you’re operating in to which master you’re allowing to control. You. See, God didn’t spare his own son, but he delivered his son up.

For who? All of us. And I also with him, freely gave us all things. See, it’s because of that. It’s because of that. Do we have freedom? If Christ didn’t give himself up for you, you have no freedom. You were a slave when you decided to come into this economy and you’re going to be a slave leaving this economy. If you don’t allow the Holy Spirit to control you, your slave, you have no freedom. That we think this, that Christ just loves everybody and it’s unconditional whatever. You know what Christ unconditional love is this. He gave his own son.

That’s his unconditional love. For what? You’re sick. He give you unconditional love to go do what you wanted to do in today’s society and think that, oh my God, that unconditional love is just going to be fine. I can do whatever I want to. You know, that is not it. God’s a God’s war God. If you actually go and read history of biblical scripture, God’s a war God and he’s war God today. But he’s different a war God today in perspective than what it was in Old Testament. This reason why you have Old Testament and New Testament, there’s a different covenant.

He says, this is what I’m going to do in the Old Testament. This is what I’m going to do. He tells us exactly what that is in the Old Testament. If we did something, he would reward us in the New Testament because his son paid the price for all of that mess. He says, I’ve given you everything. Now just be obedient. It’s up to us, not him anymore. Oh, but the judgment. Judgment is more harsh today than it was then. Why? Because it’s you making the decision. Your accountability sevenfold more than the Old Testament saint. Why? Because he bought you.

And in that purchase price. He said we be obedient. Be obedient. Here are some things that you ought to consider in your self assessment as it relates to the separation from the love of God, Tribulation and I’m not talking about tribulation and revelation. I’m talking about tribulation in your life. Distress, not peace, Persecution, famine, nakedness, peril. And see, those are all the things that Pollock personally experienced and could write about. And what he said was, is they didn’t separate me from what? The love of God. I did not allow myself in the conditions of this physical realm, this human experience to allow it to get in way from my relationship to Jesus Christ.

That’s what Paul was saying. And he went so far to tell you that even when we were put to death, there were apostles put to death. Even Paul, put to death as it were, all day long, even when we’re considered as she to be slaughtered in all those things were overwhelmingly conquered through him who loved us. What he’s saying is your human experience is based upon this world. Your spiritual experience is based upon your relationship with Jesus Christ. And whatever this world does, it does not matter if you’re in him body of Christ, you’re sanctified in him, you have no worries.

That’s why your peace, no matter what the human experience physically send your way. See, Paul says this. I’m convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depths, or any other created thing is able to separate me from the love of God. Oh, self assessment time. Go look at it. I still say that 90% of everything’s on there is physical and all of those things separate you. I take the word of God at face value as truth. I know that whosoever the Father chooses, he gives to the Son.

That’s what the whole reason for creation was. Matter of fact, it’s at a point God gave creation to his Son and then Lucifer rebel and we start this road of dual systems. So whatever God gives to the Son, the Son receives right? Well, God gave every blessing in heaven to his Son. Hear me out. And whoever the Son receives, the Son keeps and raises them all. All at the last day. That’s John 6, which means that all will, final will and testament, final will and Testament, That’s a legal thing, right? That’s a contract between two parties.

The final will and testament that God gave to His Son and His son transferred to us upon salvation. We have the same final will and testament through Christ to the Father. We have the same outcome that Christ had. If you understand that and you live your life in that condition of understanding, you have no fear. No fear of what? No fear of Satan. He can’t touch you. So shotting your feet means you stand firm in the truth. Foreign. Stand firm against the onslaught of Satan in the confidence that God is on your side and his strength is fully available to you constantly at your offense.

Now here’s the problem. Without this understanding, you’re not ready to engage in war. You’re going to be defeated. If you’re not confident in the strength of the Lord in your life, you’re going to be defeated. Did you hear what I say? Confident. What’s the word confident mean? Means you understand one way or the other, you’re either on the fence or you’re not. If you’re confident that you’re saved and you have the power structure tied to you, you should fear nothing. Go back to Judges seven. The host of Midian came against God’s people in Israel, gathered in an army of 32,000 total.

What did God say? I don’t need 32,000, I only need 300. Just give me the 300 best you have. And what happened? Not one of the 300 was slain. Not one of the 300 was injured and they won. That’s confidence in God. Say we are all born Ephesians 2, in complete and total rebellion against God. Did you get that? In Ephesians, it says you’re what, born of a demonic spirit controlled by the Prince of Power of the air, and your whole focus is chaos. You are rebelling against God the minute that you’re born. But we have to understand, this is the reason why God loves us to the point of salvation.

But while we were enemies, enemies with who? God? If you, if you rebel against God, you’re His enemy. You got that? So all of this time in your life that you live through your 60s, 1960 realm, you did the things you wanted to do. You were rebelling against God, okay? And all the while he said, what? I still love you. And oh, by the way, not only do I love you, but Christ’s death still applies to you. And in salvation through the redemption process God has made. We have made peace through Jesus Christ with God himself.

And in that God is on our side. And all the power that he gave his son we have. Now, where do you get that from shotting your feet? I want to tell you something. Human nature in this regard. Our faith is. Is based on what we can see and what we can’t see. You understand that? That’s human nature. If you see it, you believe it, right? You have to have no faith, right? But if you can’t see it, that means you got to have faith to believe what you can’t see. And everything spiritually you can’t see.

So it has to do with what’s behind you. You hearing me out? It has to do what’s behind you. What does that. It’s where your strength comes from. See, we can go into the world and we can be bold and we can be strong and we can battle because in doing so, You only comprehend what you see. And if you’re good battling, you feel good. But how does the human nature work? It allows that which is in your past to creep up behind you and take hold of you for fear that something’s wrong. What’s God say? You can’t live in the past, you gotta live in the present.

Why is that important? Because it’s a mindset. If you’re not living in the present and you’re consumed with the past, the past is going to creep up on you and take hold of you. But it’s the present that gives you the ability to tap in to the power source, receive the blessings and manifest it in your life in the present, not the past. You guys are living in the past. Many of you. I talked to some. I talked to you guys. I. You know what? I. I did this. I’m. Do I. And this is what, this is how you’re thinking about? How do you get out of the conditions of your past? Well, ask for forgiveness and be done with it.

That’s what God tells you to do. Don’t dwell on the past. Live in the present because that’s the only thing you can control. You can’t control your past. It’s done, it’s over with. But you limit your power source by living in the past. It’s a wonderful feeling when you know that you can go forward into the world, this fallen state, this evil system, and penetrate the world. We don’t have to become monks. We don’t have to go hide somewhere to find safe ground. With the word of God inside of you, being obedient to Jesus Christ and all the power source that he’s giving you in Ephesians 1:3, you can be bold in this world.

Know what? God’s got your back. He’s standing beside you. Oh, you don’t have to worry about what’s behind you anymore. Why? Because God’s there. See, it’s up to us to carry the gospel of peace. And we can be firm and take our stand. Because we know where the power source is. Not only is he behind you, he’s beside you and he’s guiding you, which means he’s in front of you. What do we talk about? Pentecost and the releasing of his spirit back into this world. You’re consumed with the spirit of God all around you, and he resides inside you.

And the connective source of energy is the connective source between your heart, brain, where the laws are, and the energy source that you breathe. And for that, he is encircling you in a protection bubble. Shields. So you want to be triumphant in cushion. So we’ve looked at three pieces of armor at this point. That helps us to understand what tools we have. To use in our spiritual battle. Ask yourself this with regard to the belt that we talked about. Do you really want to win? Is your nature to win? If you’ve never won at anything in your human nature, the human nature most likely will prevail in your spiritual control and you will not win.

Why? Because you’re in the world. Do you want to win? That’s the question. How much does it matter that you win to you? See, that’s the first issue. If you don’t want to win, you’re going to lose. If you’re, if you’re content to live in the low ground, fallen state of this world, if you’re content to live with your petty sins, if you’re content with your marginal commitment to worship, if you’re content with your marginal commitment to obedience, with your indifference, because that’s what content means. In your indifference to the things of God, you will lose.

And you’ll lose repeatedly. And the more you lose, the more severe the loss is. You know what I’m saying? Just like degree of success for those of us has climb the corporate ladder. You take one realm at a time, one realm at a time. And as you achieve that realm, you go to the next realm. You go to the next one you go to, so is loss. As you start going down the ladder, it gets worse and worse and worse. See, you’re. You’re sealed with the spirit upon, so you’re not going to lose your salvation, but you’re going to render yourself virtually useless to the purpose of God.

Therefore you’ll forfeit an eternal reward on this earth means you can’t manifest the blessings in Ephesians 1, 3, 2, you and you wind up under divine chastening instead of enjoying the benefits of blessing. You see where this is going. Your obedience and your faithfulness to the relationship that you have with Jesus Christ is the only vehicle that gives you access to the blessings. You’re not going to get them any other way. All you’re going to get is loss. That’s reason why I said you’re going to get your ticket home. But you’re not going to like the cheap seats.

So ask yourself this, are you putting the loose ends of your life together? Do you really want to go into this battle? You’re already in the battle, your soldier meeting upon salvation. But if you’re not willing to go into the battle, you’re going to prevent the winning occurring. This is not a choice that you have, this is a choice that you make. You want to win or lose. God doesn’t want you to be in poverty. He didn’t make you and give you redemption to live in fear. In a dungeon state of the mind. So you have to make the choice of whether or not you want to be committed to the truth.

If you’re committed to the truth, then you’re going to study. If you’re committed to the truth, you’re going to be obedient. If you’re committed to the truth, you’re going to do without sin. In order to do that you need to ask yourself this. Do you have the convictions about the truth? Self conscious, the truth in your self, in the heart that he wrote in your heart applies itself to the self consciousness of the human being in order to convict them of their sin. Now if that’s the process, Then if, if you live that way, what you’re doing is asking for forgiveness every time you s.

Because we’re all going to sin, we’re all going to fall short. But. If you’re not asking forgiveness and you’re not being grievous on the sins that you do as you do them, okay, it means that you are not living inside of the church because the truth will convict you immediately upon sin. It doesn’t delay. And the last question here, self assessment. Are you willing to go to war for the truth convictions? Are you willing to battle yourself. For the convictions of truth? Second thing, you need to support all of that with the holy life. So here’s a question.

Oh my gosh. Don’t you really think about, are you content with your sin. Hey, you know what? Just a small life doesn’t really matter. You willing? Are you willing to be content with a sinful life? Oh, it doesn’t matter what movie I watch. That’s okay. Not putting any junk in my money. Oh no, I won’t think about it any, you know, whatever. Oh, that concert that I really want to go here with a kiss. Let’s just say that. Or, you know, Jagger, it really doesn’t matter. I like their music. Are you content with your sense? Say that’s really another way of looking at the same thing about the truth.

Are you willing to go to war for the truth of your convictions? Or same thing. Are you content with your sins? Sort of the same. Scripture says you need to be bold. So here’s another point, self assessment stuff. Do you have the kind of confidence that it takes to march into a den of the roaring lion? Can you go to battle and know that you’re going to win? Have you studied yourself, yourself to show you approved 1 Timothy 2:15. Have you got to the state of mind that you understand who Christ is, who you are, so that when any issue comes up, you’re able to speak the energy of God into the energy of the universe to have the evil run.

Do you even know what to say. If you do, It’s a wonderful thing, guys, I’m telling you, I’m telling you. I remember what Jesus said to his disciples. Don’t worry about what you’re going to say. That’s interesting. When you get there, I’ll tell you what to say. How does that work? Huh? How does that work? No, I thought. You can’t do that if you’re living in this world. It doesn’t happen. Say, I’m amazed I’m not an apostle. I don’t profess to be apostle. I don’t profess to be a prophet or any of those things. I’m a teacher and therefore I don’t get the same divine revelation that the apostles has.

I have a different level of revelation that God gives to me because I’m in a different part of his office structure. But what, you know what’s amazing to me when we’re into Bible study, it’s really amazing me when I go back and I listen to what I say and I’m, I, I, I figure out what’s coming out of my mouth because it’s not me. Especially when I’m not plan to even touch about that topic. God just sort of puts it all together and says here, this is it. And in Those settings. I don’t have to have any fear of what anybody’s going to do to me.

I don’t have any fear that anybody’s going to destroy my faith. No matter what arguments one may have, I’m steadfast in, in my faith. I know my rock. I know what I know about scripture. I don’t know everything about scripture, but I know a whole lot about scripture. And what I do know, I’m steadfast in the truth. Therefore, I can go to battle. I’m so confident that the one who supports me is not against me, Because if God was against me, it means that I am his enemy. So my, my question to me has always been, and I have, and I have things around me that remind me of, how much do I want to win? That’s a question I ask every day.

How much do you want to win today? Do I want to seek to live a holy life today? Am I bold in this battle? Am I confident in the strength that is provided for me? How much do I want to win? Where do you want to go? And that’s really the basis of the armor of God. Shoulder faith should be obvious. If you have any familiarity with whatsoever with ancient armor, Roman armor, you’re. You’re very familiar with the idea of a shield. Verse 16 says this. In addition to all taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one.

Oh, you think he’s just going to stand over there with a bow and air and shoot missiles at you? You think he’s going to take a gun and shoot missiles at you? Is he going to take a bazooka? And you know he’s gonna, you know, what in incoming on whatever. No, doesn’t happen that way. There’s several kinds of shields that were used by different types of armies at the state of Paul, by different branches of the same Roman army. Why? Because it was. Who’s doing battle at what stage? You know, are they high in the mountains? Are they lower in the valleys? Where, where are you positioned in this? And if you want to understand this, go look at movies of ancient Roman gladiators.

You’ll see the different chills that they used. Some are small, some were very small, some were very round, some were very large. You’d hold it in your hand, it’ll be strapped around your wrist, and it would be easy to move the shield around to parry the blows that you’re coming to you at whatever environment that you’re in. Oh, and of course it matters which, which hand you, is your, is your strong hand. Are you right handed or left handed? Different shield. Just think about it. If you’re left handed with the, the sword in your left hand and a right handed shield and you’re battling, battling a right handed person with a left handed shield and a right handed sword, it’s like you’re playing chess.

When you strike somebody, you’re going to strike the shield, you’re not going to win the battle. You got to figure a way around the shield. So if you’re right handed on the battlefield, you want to fight somebody that’s right handed because what you can do is you can move the shield out of the way and you have the sword to get them. If, if you’re not, then what you’re trying to do is move the sword out of the way with the right hand. All you’re doing is putting this, putting the shield in front of your sword.

No, it doesn’t work. The word therion is the Greek word that Paul uses in describing the shield. And this word that Paul uses when you study words in, in, in scripture, it’s not a small shield, a very large one. In fact, if you look at history of Roman history and take that word and look back in time, the shield that exists in this, with this word theon is about four feet high and about two and a half feet wide. Very, very large shield. The design of the shield was to put it in the ground and be able to put your entire body behind it.

See what the, what Paul is describing there. It’s very large, it’s a long shield, like a small door. Interesting point. Designed for full protection. You wouldn’t be holding it when you got into hand, hand combat. Was it what it was meant to be used for? It was designed for full protection in the initial stage of the ancient battles that the Roman Empire fought. Because why they were dealing with arrows first as you walked across the battlefield and what you would do is you put these, think about the, the 300. Remember the movie 300 where they all got into a circle and put their shields around the circle and the second tier, put the shields on top of the first tier shields.

And they built a fortress that they all could stand under to sustain all of the arrows that were coming at them. The battle of 300, that’s what this is. The shield that Paul is describing is a full body shield to protect you. Another thing to look at is, is fighting in a line as a phalanx in Roman Empire. Whatever history you want to look at, they would come like a side winding snake across the ground like this, all shoulder to shoulder. And they even did this in our revolutionary war, by the way. It’s so powerful of a detection.

Not a detection, but a prevention mechanism that they, they use this in our, in our revolutionary war. Because why they fought with arrows and they fought with single shot weapons and all they needed to do is protect them. So what is that, what is that in, in looking at the armor? God. Well, we gotta, if we’re gonna break this down, we got to know some very important components of this. You have to put on the belt, right? That’s the first thing. You have to remove the loose ends to all of it so that you don’t, you don’t stagger, you don’t fall because you’re not prepared.

I understand. Oh, and then you got to put the breastplate on which protects your vital organs. And then you have to have the shoes that gives you stability to stand firm. And then on top of that, you need a chill. The shield provides double protection. God layers himself with you. We’ll get to the helmet next time. So you have basically three pieces that are fixed and three pieces that are added. Fixed offense, defense. Three pieces that are fixed is your defense. Three pieces that are added is your offense. A soldier has his belt on. A soldier has, has the preparation, the readiness to go to battle.

He’s got the breastplate on, he’s got the shoes on. And most likely at that point in the battle structure, he’s at parade rest, just standing there waiting to go. That’s defense. That’s defense. You’re ready to go. You are prepared. You are studied up. You have applied yourself. Dying daily into Christ. Christ is in your life. He is controlling you. And you’re standing at the ready. That’s your defense. Let’s see. Once the battles start, you have to pick up your shield, you have to put on your helmet and you have to take up the sword to go to battle.

That’s your offense. Those six things combined is immediate readiness to battle safe. You’re not only thinking routine, constant protection, but you’re thinking long range. You’re looking at, out around you to see what’s coming at you to understand where the battle is going to be. Know your know your enemy. And when the enemy starts and it gets hot in the battle, you grab the things of offense that you need to go to battle. So when there’s a little bit of a lull in the battle, the soldier may lay his sword down, he may lay his helmet down and he may put his heavy shield down, but all the while he does that, his feet are shot in.

He keeps the breastplate covered and his belt on, so when the call to battle is given, he can pick up the pieces and go to war. The first of these additional above all components in is in verse 16, which is called the Shield of Faith. And what’s it for? It’s so that you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the EV1. Or if you look at it from the Old Testament, the fiery darts might come to mind. Whatever it is, it’s missiles, it is specific bullets from the wicked one too. Now, I’m not sure that we need to understand who the wicked one is because it’s Satan himself, but we understand he is the source of the attack.

Regardless of whether it’s demonic or evil spirit or whatever. The controller of what you’re being attacked with comes from the general in charge of that area that is in the air, managing the battlefield on this earth. You have a structure we’ve talked about that. Say we don’t fight evil in the world. And that’s a misnomer that church pulpits typically talk about because they give you illustrations about how you can deal with situations in your life. See, that’s not true. You fight one and one only being. You fight one and one only controller of the evil system and then you know how to battle.

Look at war. Let’s go back to the Civil War or Revolutionary War. All of the elites, the generals, the officers are on white horses on a hill looking down, and they were directing by flags who should enter from what position at whatever time in the battle that they were at. In today’s world, you have AWAC planes up in the sky that have the communication. You got generals that are sitting in front of a screen. And the generals look down through the AWACS aircraft with their battle plan. Lucifer’s got his battle plan right with their battle plan.

And they say, this is how we’re going to execute our plan of attack. Or airplanes type thing. Oh, bombers go. That’s what they’re doing. That’s the same way Lucifer does. He tells his demons and his evil spirits to go do whatever he tells them to do. And if you’re caught up in what they’re doing, you don’t see the overall game plan. So you don’t know how to attack. You only attack that which you could feel. And you lose. Scripture says you attack the evil one. You go boldly in front and you declare Jesus Christ to the evil, not the demonic or the evil spirits because they’re just demean, they’re just little puppets controlled by Satan himself.

If you’re going to win the war, you’re going to have to go after Satan. You go and say it. If you go after the small ones and you win that battle, you haven’t won the war, mother. Some other entities just going to come and refill the lines of a battle. You got what I’m saying? It’s not an abstract, it’s not an impersonal thing in understanding evil. Evil is not some kind of floating force. There’s an army that’s being directed by Lucifer himself in his playbook to get to you. Now what did I say? The more of a relationship you have with Jesus Christ, the more of the evilness that Satan’s going to send to you.

Oh, let’s, let’s understand. Oh, I’m just going to sing you this one over here to get your attention while I flank you over here with the, with the army. You follow what I’m saying? If you’re not paying attention to the overall scheme of things, you’ll lose the war. It’s not just a reality of negativity in the universe. It is a personal direct attack by the devil himself. Say in 1st John 5:19, it says the whole world lies in the lap of the evil one. You deal with evil based upon what the evil one wants you to deal with.

And if you’re not conquering the evil one, you’re not conquering to win your bet. What Paul uses as an analogy based upon these shills was if you looked at the battle of ancient Roman Empire, The Romans were smart. Oh, their tactics of battle came from Alexander the Great, by the way, a fearless general, he died too young. But you want, you don’t want to mess with Alexander the Great on a battlefield, if you understand history. But in from that the Romans learned that there were many ways that you attack men who have shields. They made arrows.

They would have metal tips. They would put around those metal tips or behind the metal tips, pitch, which was a kind of tar. And just before shooting them they would light the tar which in high oil content they would become flaming arrows. Those are fire arrows. Now chills at that time on the outside were, were particularly made covered by leather. And so the leather would be thick and sometimes the leather would be saturated with a kind of oil that would extinguish a fiery arrow. Okay, if you know how you think about this, if you know how you’re Going to be attacked.

Why don’t you build your defenses in order to take care of that offense that’s coming your way? Makes sense, right? Belt or righteous? Okay. Breastplate shoes. So. I believe that these fiery darts, these arrows, fiery arrows are, is a depicting symbol of seducing temptation. I think every which way he’s going to come at you. He’s going to send whatever bullets your way. To do what? He knows you better than you know yourself. He’s going to come after you whichever way he knows he can get to you. Impurity, your lustfulness. Or it might be your greed or your vanity of materialism.

Pride, could be anger, impatience, covetousness and all other kinds of things. He’s going to come at you. Not with fiery arrows, but your own self, human nature. And if you don’t identify in your self assessment what your vulnerable areas of human nature is that you should be working on, by the way, that’s called sanctification. He’s going to get to you. Your defense is understanding you. And when you understand you, you study to build your battle plan with a protection accordingly. Now I doubt very seriously Tong and Chick cavalier comment here. I doubt very seriously that you guys have looked at your self assessment.

To understand where your vulnerabilities are. You need to. You need to. How are you going to build a defense if you don’t know what your vulnerabilities are? Your battlefield weakness. Different term. Your battlefield weakness. How are you going to build a defense against your weakness if you don’t understand where your weakness is? See, all of what Satan is doing is using his hierarchy of demonic government and this world system. Two systems in this world system that comes at you 100% of the time. That’s what he’s doing. And our problem is this human nature. We’re really not content with anything.

If you got what you got, you want something else because you got what you got. And when you want something else, because what you got is what you got, you open the door to allowing the world to fulfill what you want. If God’s given you. Oh, I’m going to use this example, Misty. Probably kill me. If God’s given you the best spouse that you could ever have. And one day you just say, you know what? That’s not really good enough anymore. What have you just done? Open the door. The door. Absolutely right. You did. Because you weren’t content with what God gave you.

See, what we have is we’re stewards over what, what God has given us. We own nothing, we possess nothing. We’re stewards over what God has given us. And when enough is not enough and you open the door, then you’ve opened the door to the world to supply more. And that was not God’s intended purpose to begin with. So you just open yourself up to sin in whatever form that might be. You can call that whatever materialism, covishness, greed, vanity, all kinds of things. Oh, what happened to David when he didn’t accept what God had given him in his throne? What happened to him? You saw Bathsheba.

Oh, and what did that lead to? That led to fornication. Oh, that led to a child and it led to murder. See, you’re to be content with what God gives you. If you have a need, he will supply your need. If you’re obedient, you get more blessings. See how this works? And when you’re not content, you open the door to the world and oh, now you have a battle that you didn’t plan for. You did it though. You see, the mindset is this human nature. You’re going to lust for anything that you don’t have. Did you just hear what I had said? You’re going to lust for anything you don’t have.

Those, those guys that don’t have a boat. Do you not sit around and think about a boat? Oh, you want a four wheeler? Because you live on trails and you know, you think about four wheeler. You want a new car, all right, you’re not pleased with the one you have. Guys, we all lust for what we don’t have, whether it’s a material thing or another person. In our human experience, we’re never to be satisfied. That’s how we’re made. At the heart of all sin is dissatisfication. You would never sin if you were content with what you had.

Did you? I mean, think about it. Looking at me. You would never sin if you were content with what? Yeah, period. It wouldn’t work. Oh, yes. You know, you stop. I knew I was in trouble when I did that. Anyway, do you get what I’m saying? Say the darts that are compared to the symbolism that Paul points out in Ephesians is based upon symbols of seducing temptations. That’s what they are. Impurity, lustfulness, greed, vanity, materialism, pride, anger, whatever. Those are your doors. And those are. I’m going to say something. Those are your constant doors. See, that’s exactly what was going on at the garden.

That’s exactly the relationship between Eve and Lucifer himself with regards to the transgression. Eve was put there as A point of acceptance. Let me just put it that way. Lucifer was out for what he didn’t have. He wanted control of God. He didn’t get it. So therefore he was going to get control of what? His creation. So it went after them. And oh, the deception from God is, is, Is the story of the lifetime. Because in that process, When God knew this condition before the foundation of the world, remember Ephesians 1, 2 and 3. And he planned how to combat that, the chess plays that he needed to do.

He put Eve in there as what? A prostitute? To do what? Seduce or succumb to Lucifer. Because that union was the only way we had a vehicle to go home. Lucifer didn’t know that. See, when Satan came to Eve in the garden, what did he say to her? The implications? What he said to her was, God is not who you think he is. Oh, she knew who God was. You think God is so wonderful and so good, but the truth of the matter is that the tree over there, true life trim knowledge, good and evil. True knowledge, good and evil is what he’s talking about.

Was so beautiful fruit, good to eat. And he told you, he, God told you not to eat of that fruit. There must be something wrong with God. I’m the good guy. I’m telling you it’s beautiful. It’s a delight to eat. Think about it. And you ought to have the right to eat it. And in fact, if God is telling you that you can eat it, that tells you there’s a flaw in God. Because what, he’s withholding something beautiful from you. What did Lucifer just do? He attracted Eve in scripture. This is what we’re supposed to understand after the fact.

He attracted Eve in scripture from her lust. She actually went from a knowledge of thinking about it to a lusting for it to the actual act, which is exactly what. What we do when we are seduced. And what he said is this, There is a guide who has all of that for you. It’s the God of this world. And what he concluded with Eve. Was that any restraint. Oh, feminism, guys, women. You think about feminism. Any constraint that you have is unacceptable. And you shouldn’t want anything to do with a God who puts restraints on you.

You should be free to do what you want, when you want it, how you want it, with whom you want. Estar, feminism, homosexuality. See, that’s what Satan was doing with me. Those are fiery darts. Not arrows that you sling through the air, but arrows that come through your open doors. So what extinguishes them? Faith. Faith, extinguishes them faith, believing in the guide that does have the best for you. So the question goes this, and I want to finish with this. I see that we’re running out of time. This is the last comment I’ll make. So, when you sin, who do you believe? When you sin, who do you believe? Sin is not from God.

So who do you believe? Satan. You deserve this. You have a right to this. You should enjoy this. You should do this. You don’t need to be restrained. You don’t need to be limited. Just jump in and do whatever you want. That’s the fiery dart that Lucifer sends your way because that is where your human nature is. Your defense shield is not adequate. And in doing so you have the remaining sin, the sin on top of sin, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, and the system that comes at that with all viciousness.

And you can either say, you know, you’re right, Satan, or you can say, I’m going to trust God that his commandments are best and his commandments are true. That his commandments produce the greatest fulfillment, greatest satis. Satisfaction and the greatest joy. That’s what it comes down to, you guys. If you sin, you believe a lie. When you do what is right, you believe God. When you look at at the temptation of Christ, you can see that because Satan comes to Christ. If you recall scripture in Matthew 4, Satan comes to Christ. He has eat. Christ hasn’t eaten in 40 days or 40 nights.

He’s hungry. Think about your mind. He’s been led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of of letting the devil after him. Why? Why did he do this? Not only did God want him to pass the test and vindicate his holiness, but he wanted to show us that man could do the same. We’ll stop there. You’re getting where this is going. It’s your lifestyle, it’s your mindset. That’s the reason why Romans 1 says he’s going to give you over to your reprobate mind if you continue down the path of sin. Why? Because God’s going to say, I’ve tried everything I can try and it’s not working.

And enough’s enough. And so I’m just going to let you go do whatever you want to do. On the other side. You could actually become obedient. And follow Christ. And in doing so, you receive all the blessings in Ephesians 1:2 and 3. Ephesians 1:3. All right, guys. Comments? Anything? We’ve done four of the of the armor we got more to go. We’re going to take up the helmet starting next week. Yeah, David, Jim, I was just thinking when you were talking there about when she was taken into the wilderness and the 40 days where he didn’t eat and drink, that God was also probably making a statement to Satan to say, you can try and test me, but you are not going to win.

Yeah, I mean, you have to. Look, guys, you need to look at the. The conditions of Satan’s interaction with not only Christ, but Satan’s interaction to humanity and build your playbook. Build your playbook. You got to know your enemy. How are you going to know your enemy? Study history. Okay? History is going to tell you what he’s done because it’s. The playbook’s the same. There’s no difference. Christ said, I’m the same yesterday, or God said, I’m the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Do you know what Lucifer is? I’m the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I told you that the spiritual realm is absolutely the same other than the condition of sin.

You have an evil master and you have a holy master. You go to them the same way. Whether or not you want to call it summons or requesting the face of the master to come see you. Whatever it is, you go to them the same way. They’re the same. Your playbook is the same. So in order to understand your playbook, you got to understand the history and build it. Build it. I can. I can’t tell you how many times that I have sat down with pencil and paper from Old Testament and I’ve outlined a battle plan, Satan’s battle plan against the Israelites.

Why? Because in that battle plan, it tells me where I’m vulnerable. I know what my weaknesses are. All right? I know what my weaknesses are. So I can look at history and say, oh, he did that. And that’s how he did. Oh, and he did that over here, too. And he did that. So it’s. You can see the consistent pattern and you can build your own battle plan. Study to show yourself approved. Okay, that’s just me. Don’t have to do it my way at all. But some way you have to get to a point where you can identify the depth, the breadth, the width and the height of your enemy.

And then you take that and apply it to you. But you know what? You got to know you. That’s one of our problems. One of our big problems is we don’t know to know us. Why? Because we don’t like what we see. Just think about how often do we like to change something. I want to change the color of my hair. I want to try this different eyeshadow. Guys, I want to try whatever. You don’t like what you see, so therefore you’re going to change it. Well, you know what? That prevents us from understanding that we’re steward of ourselves because Christ gave us us.

You’re God’s creation. You’re steward over God’s creation. You don’t own. And because of that, if you apply the same principles to you, you’re not content with you. And in doing so, you now want to change. I want you really think about that. Because that principle applies to every aspect of your life. God gave it to you. Are you content or not? If not, you’re going to want to change. That applies to everything. God says. What I gave you is sufficient enough to what, meet your needs. And it might not be your wants, but it’s your needs.

And if you’re obedient to me, you get your wants because I’ve gave you every blessing out of heaven. See, that’s how it works. This is a building process. Sanctification. You build on being satisfied with you. Now what you’re trying to get out of this is you want to know who Christ is. So you need so then you can know who what you are. You’re not going to know who you are unless you understand who Christ is. If when you understand who Christ is, then you’re going to understand that what he’s giving you is sufficient. You’re content.

You’re not opening the door to sin. And by being obedient, think about this. By being obedient in that process and moving throughout life now you get this inventory of blessings that heaven is overflowing to you. That’s how it works. Can’t go after the blessings without going through the other stuff. Just doesn’t work. If he did, then Job would not be in the picture. This Job was not content with himself after a period of time. And then Joe became fearful. All right. Non contentment, however you want to put it there is a process to this and it’s pretty simple.

You’re a gift from God through your parents gift. That gift just so happened to be your host body system that gives you the free will choice of whether or not you’re going to live in this world world or live in heavenly places. And your choice determines where you’re going to spend eternity life. And it gives you the ability to understand where your home is. Once you understand that, then you become citizens of heaven or citizens of this world, whichever choice you make. And then if your choice is a citizen of heaven through salvation and redemption, then you need to be content with what God gave you here, because you own nothing.

You don’t even own yourself. And then by being content, you have all the doors closed. And because you got all the doors closed and you are content as a good steward, then you’re obedient, because what’s that? You. Salvation requires you to be obedient. You see? And if you’re obedient, then you have access to the inventory of the blessings in Ephesians 1:3. And all you have to do is through your lifestyle and all of the arm of the God and how you. How you live your. Your life in associating with God. You can manifest those blessings in your life by what he said.

Ask. Just ask. They’re there. You’re already there. I know what you need before you ask. I have already given it to you. It’s in your inventory. Before you ever ask, he tells you that your problem is you can’t manifest it in your life because you’re not fully engulfed in the process of sanctification. You don’t know who you are. Some cases you don’t know who Christ is, then you’re disobedient. It’s like going to school and following the rules. You walk into the door, there’s a set of rules, you follow them, you’re okay. You don’t follow them, you have a problem.

Well, that’s the same here. Not us, guys. We’re good. All right, let’s pray. Father, thank you for such a great evening. Thank you for allowing us to share the truth of your word, and not only sharing it, but come to an understanding of exactly what it means. And thank you for the Holy Spirit to guide us through this study. Father, Give us the ability to understand exactly who Christ is, so that we may come to the realization of who we are in Christ. And in so doing, how we can actually achieve the sanctification of life in this kingdom of heaven that you’ve allowed us to live this physical life experience in and to experience the blessings from heaven as you’ve identified in Ephesians 1:3.

And we just love you and thank you for all of that, and thank you for your son, because without him, we would not have the access not only to. To our spiritual home, but we. We didn’t have access to you. We wouldn’t have access to the blessings. We wouldn’t have access to the relationship with each other. Father, we just love you for it. Now we ask all these things in your son’s hand.
