2025 01 01 Soil Detox I F*cked Up

So I’m going to dump these guys out and I’ll clean everything, scrub everything. That’s one good use of municipal water. It’s definitely a disinfectant and start it over. I’ll make a new video for you that for when I redo this video just for completeness. Again, I’ve got different researchers and actually agencies now following me. So, hi. Yeah, reach out. You remember test one was the one I did at the White House when I lived at the other place and I’d built a raised bed.

And then this is test two, though. This is going just fine. Let me see if I can get this to turn over there so you can see it. So this is test two and it’s going just fine. Now, one of the issues that we had with test two and with test one, I forget the name of who’s brought it up in the comments and then I’ve had another researcher reach out to me with it. And so what I did with test one and test two is I mixed up the soil, did the thing, and took the initial soil samples and sent them in to get tested for PFAS.

And this one got tested. It’s got like 12 of them in it. Then I did the application of microbes for, you know, last time it was two months. I think we’ll do three months or more on this one. And then I took another soil sample and sent it in. And one of the possible issues with that is that, you know, it’s been subjected to rain and watering and stuff and some stuff may have washed out. And in fact, we did a spreadsheet analysis and it looks like the ones that have the higher destruction have smaller carbon chains on them.

So not sure what that means yet. But anyway, test two is going to be a duplication basically of test one. We’ll see how it goes. Turn that back. Because of that rainwater and possible water washing thing, that’s why I have two separate buckets here. And, you know, one was getting the microbes and the other was meant to be a control and that way when I take the soil test at the same time, it’ll be pretty much this, it’ll be a more fair comparison, right? So anyway, yeah. Hey, don’t tell me this doesn’t happen at big labs and stuff like that.

Everybody fucks up once in a while. You know, I mean, it was like near Christmas, I had a bunch of shit to do. I’m running here and I got to go to the community garden and whatever and then I just dumped it on them and I’m like, No! It’s okay though. It just means we lost like a month or two of traction.
