Hey everybody, Dave Hodges here, host of the Common Sense Show. We are the show that is freeing America, one enslaved mind at a time. Thank you so much for joining us. Really good to be with you. Always great to be with you. We are the nation overcame the odds to get our leader back in. Now we just need to do our part in supporting him. And part of that is coming here, gaining whatever information you can from either me or my guests or circumstances we’re covering. And then taking that information and applying it in your own activist way.

And you got to serve in the way you can best serve. You know, God gives us different talents, calls us for different missions. And all we got to do is our part and things will improve. Things are already improving, but we need to make this happen collectively. We’re on the same team and we have very powerful and very evil entities opposing us. This is not going to be an easy job. But it’s one that if we back away from the consequences are horrendous. Hey, we’re brought to you by BodyAlign. You’ve heard me talk about some of the BodyAlign products, particularly EMF Defense.

But here I want to talk to you about something I’m using personally. Now, let me just say this. Do I ever use Big Pharma go to regular doctors and benefit from them? Yes. But I’m very selective about what I let them do to my body. And I research it thoroughly. Kind of just who I am. A little meticulous in that way. And I know it can be annoying, but I’m healthier as a result. But I find myself increasingly, as I educate myself about my body and what maximizes my performance and vitality and health. I am going more the natural route.

And I’m doing that based on just what I’ve learned, not what I’m listening to with someone, what I can prove. And there’s a device out there called the wellness band. And it’s, I’ll tell you, this is going crazy. They’re having a hard time keeping this in stock right now. It’s it’s selling so well. And you wear it on your wrist. And you can see here, it says it increases energy, boost clarity, and maximizes vitality. I want to focus on the first one. I’m sure I’m benefiting in the other two ways, but I have tremendous demands on my life.

And I put myself in that position, but I do a lot of things away from the camera and the microphone that you don’t even know about. I’m involved in a lot of other things away from media and the demands on my day, I put in 18, 19 hour days. And some of that includes working out so I can maintain my health and you get into older age and you don’t want to get sarcopenia. You know, your muscles all shrivel up and you exactly, you know what I’m talking about. So with regard to this device, you put it on and I’ve, and I was told by my friends, hey, Dave, we’re doing this.

This is great. And then I got hooked up with a body aligned people when I was doing EMF defense, but this really increases energy. Does it boost clarity? I haven’t noticed a decline and I put tremendous pressure on myself. Vitality? Well, that goes for the energy. And I wear the device and let me show you here on camera here. Okay. I wear the device right here and I take it off at night so I can sleep. I made the mistake of leaving out a couple of times and I’m waking up in the middle of night, ready to go.

It’s two 30 in the morning and I’m thinking, this is crazy. Then I realized, oh, I forgot to take this device off and it’s all natural. There can be absolutely no side effects whatsoever and it boosts my energy. And if you want your energy boosted, if you want mental clarity. And I’ll tell you, they have so many five star reviews and this is selling out like crazy. Go to Body Align, A-L-I-G-N, BodyAlign.com and you’ll see this device right there. I’ll tell you, it’s efficient. It’s inexpensive and it works for me. It’ll work for YouTube. BodyAlign.com. Well, we have an interesting story here.

You know, being a former provider of mental health services on various fronts, I’m very sensitized and I ran into this too as a teacher, as a professor, the subject of suicide. And I probably need to do something on this in terms of recognizing, assisting and I used to make this a mission when I would teach about suicide, hopelessness, depression and so forth. I would actually give my students a model to look at warning signs and destroy the myths and then talk about how you can intervene before it’s too late. And I probably need to do more of this as a PSA public service announcement because we have unprecedented mental health rates in this country and the real numbers are being suppressed by federal agencies that say they track this stuff because they don’t want you to know how bad life is that they have made it.

I do think you can live under a bad government. And if you’re spiritually redeemed, I think this helps buffer you and get you through a lot of this. But the reality is this people, we live in a country that could care less about you in terms of its leadership. And Donald Trump does care, but he’s one man and we’re over 300 million people. We have to teach people how to find value and meaning in their life, how to deal with frustration and hurt. But what the government does is exacerbate the problem through conditions and widespread neglect.

And the one of the things that really has been impressed upon me since I’ve been in this business is how badly they want your guns, how badly they want your guns and they want to glamorize death by gun so they can take your gun. But they don’t tell you the real reasons behind who dies on being the wrong end of a gun. We have some data here that I’m going to tell you, be prepared to be shocked. And it just tells you what a bad shit sandwich we have right here in America at the hands of the elite that are benefiting from your labor, your efforts and your silence.

Calls for your guns, red flag laws. What? Let me ask the question. Who’s dying from guns? What’s the major cause? You’re about ready to have a holy you not want. This is amazing. Okay, here we go. Suicides count for more than half of the firearm related deaths in America. Between 2018 and 2024, 57% of all firearm related deaths were suicides. On average, 77.8% of gun deaths across all age groups are suicides with the rate increasing among older age groups. This is just symptomatic of the fact that the mental health of this country is going to hell in a handbasket.

That’s overall what this says, but I also want to bring it back to the gun argument because until this government and this media can tell you these statistics that I’ve just given to you and their calls for gun intervention, gun laws, gun confiscation, mandatory buybacks. It’s all BS. It’s all BS because they want to do things to you they can’t do yet because we’d rise up with guns and they don’t want to tell you that suicides are the primary reason that gun violence occurs. It’s self inflicted. They don’t want to tell you that because then they’d have to look at themselves and what they’re doing to exacerbate the mental health decline of America.

This is amazing. Let me give you some ethnic breakdowns here since the media loves to talk about race. I’ll do it here hopefully in a productive manner. The first one really kind of gives the destruction of the myth white privilege. What white privilege white Americans 83% of gun deaths are suicide. 38% of gun deaths among Hispanics are suicide and 17% among black Americans and what you hear about gun violence is blacks are the biggest victims and it’s because of white privileged in denial of economic viability. And people are killing themselves because of white privilege that are black.

I’ve heard this argument many times, particularly when Trump was president. Nothing could be further from the truth. Every one of these deaths, I don’t care what your race is, is a tragedy. It leaves family members and friends behind that blame themselves often unjustly blame themselves for not recognizing the situation, not intervening, not stopping. And then they deal with the horrible pain afterwards. I don’t care what your race is. It’s a horrible situation that no one should have to go through. Nobody. This is unbelievable. You know, and I’m going to throw something out at you too. You guys know if you follow me for length of time.

I admire the BS that Caitlin Clark has had to go through. Star NBA, WNBA player who is Christian, white, and straight. And she’s taken attacks on all fronts. The other day, she said something when she got recognized as being an all pro in the WNBA. She acknowledged that she’s the beneficiary of white privilege. This is such garbage and these suicide statistics show this too. All human beings face challenges. Some of us are better equipped to meet the challenges and it doesn’t have anything to do with the color of your skin. It has to do with your inner resolve, your resilience, your ability to meet challenges.

It also has to do with mental illness that is irrespective of your race. Mental illness doesn’t respect race. And Caitlin Clark said something and I’ll still support her, but I see her kind of joining the other side. She said one thing that is true, but she reached a conclusion that’s bullshit. She said this league was built on the labor of black players. For the most part, she’s right. Since the majority of players in WNBA are black, that’s a true statement. But I would prefer to give credit to the individuals and not to the race. It’s the individuals who put the work effort in, who diligently trained in the gym by themselves and their friends are out having fun.

They pay the sacrifice and reap the benefit. Does that respect any race? And then she said, so I recognize I have white privilege and blah, blah, blah. That’s such bullshit. Seriously. And Caitlin, I’m calling you on your bullshit there. Your race had nothing to do with the countless hours that you and your dad worked on perfecting your skills. Nothing, nothing. And the same thing for the valiant women that came before you that built that league with their skills. I don’t care what their race is. They had to put the time and effort in and they had to have the God given talent.

And when we make race a part of this argument, it’s ridiculous. If people are struggling and there’s guns available, it’s a risk. And we need to educate ourselves as human beings as to recognize the signs of the people around us when they’re in danger, when they’re in trouble. And then provide assistance. It says nothing to do with race. And if they didn’t have guns, they would have pills. Or they’d have carbon monoxide poisoning. So taking away the guns is not the answer. The answer is being a benefit and help to people around you that are struggling.

I can’t believe what bullshit I read on this, on these topics. And to link this back into Caitlin Clark, I’m really disappointed in her statement. She’s minimizing her own work ethic to try to curry favor from the league. And part of me kind of understands it because the physical and emotional abuse she went through in her rookie year. But no one should have to apologize for the race. And when you’re successful, you don’t apologize for your race. How about we maybe just talk about the human race? So sick of this crap. Anyway, be kind to those around you.

Mental illness, is it an all-time high? I’ll give you an example of road rage. I’m driving with a friend of mine who goes, you got to turn right here, Dave. And so I turn, I slow down to a normal, I don’t want to squeal the wheels and I go around the corner. So I go to the off-ramp. And my rate of decline and speed to navigate a turn was not to the liking of the person behind me. They get like six inches from my bumper. And then I turn and they’re driving in a harassing manner.

And then they zip around me and I had to slam on my brakes as they cut me off and almost tried to come into the passenger door. All because I wasn’t going fast enough on the off-ramp to navigate a turn. And I don’t drive like an old lady. Sorry, no disrespect intended to old ladies. Can you believe that? This is the mental illness we have. This was the most unwarranted case of road rage I’ve ever seen. And people say, did you run him down and go beat his butt? No. No. I did honk my horn out of fear when I had to slam on my brakes.

And it was like an automatic reaction. That’s craziness. But this is what we have in our country. It really exacerbated COVID. And let me tell you what COVID management did. And this was intentional. This was a PSYOP. Should I save this for another segment? Yeah, I should. It’s a teaser for what’s coming up next. The PSYOP of COVID management and how it’s led us to the situation where we’re in a mental health crisis. Parents, watch your kids. I’ve never seen kids as a group so hopeless in my life. And hopelessness is the best predictor of suicide, not depression.
