Please. Do not forget the punctuations! Do not forget the punctuations! Do not forget the punctuations! The sheriff of the county in which Tampa Bay is located, Chronister, was downright fascist about enforcing COVID-19 restrictions during the pandemic, even going so far as to arrest a popular preacher, a popular pastor, in the area who refused to stop holding church services during the pandemic. Chronister’s selection by Donald Trump was a real sore spot among those of us who had been Trump supporters from the beginning. It took a pressure campaign from the likes of me and a whole lot of other Trump loyalists like Laura Loomer to get Chronister out.

The fact that it took that is very telling. The question is, who will replace him as the head of DEA? Well, we have a couple of suggestions, including maybe Polk County Florida Sheriff Grady Judd. First, I want you to see this chart. 25 illegal immigrants were arrested in this operation. They were from Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. 16% of these total arrests were people who should not even have been in this country, but they were here. And they were here because we have a federal government that enabled these criminals to come into the country and then treated them very well after the criminals came here illegally.

Join us now to discuss this matter. The overall state of Trump’s federal law enforcement picks is retired Sheriff Richard Mack. He’s also the founder and president of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officer Association and the author of the County Sheriff America’s Last Hope. And it’s that point of the role of sheriffs. Sheriff Mack, it’s good to see you again. Focus on because it seems that Trump has sheriffs on his mind. Okay. Here’s a story from yesterday that read that Trump is reportedly considering expanding a federal program that allows local sheriffs to act as immigration agents, streamlining the process on this mass deportation of illegal aliens, particularly of criminal illegal aliens that Donald Trump has promised.

Is this a feasible, feasible policy to implement, Sheriff Mack? Yeah, the 287 G program has been there for quite some time where it allowed sheriffs and local officials to do that. Then Biden took it away because he wanted to do everything he could to protect illegals coming into the country. And so, yeah, we applaud that, but we also think Trump is going to need to expand that and have the sheriffs very involved in the process. First of all, who knows the counties in this country better than the County Sheriff? No one.

So, identifying who needs to get out, identifying where they live, and working with the people to do that in his County, I think will be absolutely essential to the success of this program. If you’re going to have a deport five or six million and even beyond, you’re going to need the support of the sheriffs in this country. And if you look at the map that President Trump won, he won 85% of the counties in this country. So all we need is those sheriffs to volunteer and say, President Trump, we’re here for you, we have your back, and we’re going to help you deport these people.

And by the way, I’ve already suggested Sheriff Grady Judd to take the place. He’s great. And also several other sheriffs across the country who would be great for that position, that you are absolutely correct. And we were a huge part of this lobbying effort and campaign to get Trump to take a mulligan on that choice. And thank God he did. Yeah, thank goodness he did. And I’m sure with the respected organization that you have, hearing from you all that this was a bad pick, probably weighed a lot on the decision to just ask Chronister to step aside.

I, you know, well, that was just the worst. I’m glad he corrected course. But let’s hope going forward, we do a lot better. You did reference this 287. And that is the law, you got to have the right people in place to to get these kind of policies that you want to push. So I mean, reference that 1996 federal law called the illegal illegal immigration reform and immigrant Responsibility Act with the 287. And it would allow police officers and sheriffs to be deputized as immigration officers and to enforce immigration laws that were typically administered by federal agents.

You, you said you use the word volunteer sheriff when you suggested that sheriffs across the country could get involved. Do they have to volunteer? Or is this something that the federal government, you know, the Trump administration can say, hey, there’s a law in the books, and you’re going to participate with us whether you like it or not. No, I actually sued the federal government on that very issue back in 1997. I want a case at the US Supreme Court against that the federal government cannot commandeer the Office of Sheriff for any reason.

But if you sit down and negotiate with us and talk with us and say, hey, this is the problem, we need your help. This is a huge law enforcement issue that every sheriff should want to participate in. We want all the sheriffs want these criminals out of their counties, this is going to make their counties a better place to live. So, and there, every citizen should read that book, The County Sheriff America’s Last Hope, because we, we are the only elected law enforcement office in this country that answers directly to the people.

And so the people can get involved, and the sheriff can get involved, and he can create a posse with those people. And if people will go to our website and join our posse, we’ll train you how to be on your sheriff’s posse. So please do that. Also, I’m wearing my hat today, because we have a special on this hat that my wife created somehow. And it’s way, it’s way below wholesale, all those products are. Go to the front page of CSPOA, and you’ll see that this $25 hat is basically given free to you.

So there it is, my wife’s holiday sale. We’re even, she even voluntarily said we’ll do the shipping. So I don’t know how much money she’s costing me on this one. But look, she did it. I’ll go buy it. So anyway, folks, get involved with your sheriff, get involved with this great solution called the Constitutional Sheriff and Peace Officer Association. Every citizen should be a part of that. You don’t know what to say, Sheriff Mack, about getting involved. Just look what happens when you do raise your voice and you’re active in the process.

I was on a radio interview with Gary Heasley out of Philadelphia, and they called it, what did they call it? They called it the public confirmation process. And that’s what Chronister did not pass, right? So when we raise the voices, we can’t affect change. I’m going to start using that now. I love that part. Public confirmation. Speaking of confirmations, I want to get to one more law enforcement item with you. It sounds like Cash Patel, though many predicted that he wouldn’t be able to get confirmed. It sounds like he is on his way to an actual confirmation as the FBI director when Trump takes office.

Your thoughts? Well, his office reached out to us and asked for an endorsement, and we gave it. We love Cash Patel. We’d like to see more sheriffs involved in his administration as well as Trump’s administration. And there’s a lot of good sheriffs there. Why do we want sheriffs involved and why should sheriffs be involved in the new Trump administration? Because they’re not part of the Washington, D.C. elitism. And if you want to clean something up, you need somebody from the outside usually to come out. And these sheriffs on the white horses with their white hats coming in and straightening out Washington, D.C., who better? Get the sheriffs.

Can you just explain a little bit better? Can you just explain how that would work? I mean, you say you want the sheriffs more involved with a Cash Patel FBI. I mean, what does that look like? How does that work? He makes a couple of the best sheriffs in the country, his chief deputies and his assistants. And then they make the FBI toe the line instead of this insider deep state corruption that the FBI has now. Nobody even trusts the FBI anymore. How are we going to get that back? It’s going to take new blood, not stirring the current blood.

And that’s what they usually do in Washington, D.C. Oh, it’s totally incestuous, right? That’s the word I use that best describes D.C. is incestuous and swampy, right? Real quick, before I let you go, when Cash reached out for that endorsement, did you all make that suggestion and say, hey, look, happy to endorse you, but if you get it, this is what you need to do. Yeah, we did. And I volunteered my services. I’m willing to be a participant. But if somebody were to give me the job I really want from the Trump Rubio, because I would like to be the new ambassador for El Salvador.

And I lived there for a year. And I speak Spanish. And my degree is in Latin American studies. And I would like to help out there. That would be fascinating. I you know what, if somebody asked me what Sheriff Mack wanted to do that would not have been on my bingo card. But when you explain it, that absolutely makes sense. I hope well, I’ll go wherever they want me to go. I don’t care. But if I had my druthers, that’s what I’d really like to do. I’ve always wanted to do that.

Very interesting. Let’s see if you know a little birdie can whisper in the transition teams and Donald Trump’s ear. It’s good to see you, Sheriff Mack. These are really good. Like, these are solid suggestions of how you change and reform and clean up the FBI, clean up our country. I love this such a substantive conversation. Thank you so much, Sheriff Mack, for your perspective, insight and expertise. And we’ll keep an eye on that. Don’t forget to go to Wicked. In our audience, in case you’re wondering where that came from, Sheriff Mack asked me if I was, you know, dressed to go to Wicked tonight because of my outfit.

And I, I do look that way. I hadn’t even thought that way when I was getting dressed. Thanks so much, Sheriff Mack. Always good to see you. Thanks so much. [tr:trw].
