Meet Ron Partain

Ron Partain is the host of the Untold History Channel. He grew up in a small conservative town on the eastern edge of the LA Basin in Southern California and attended elementary school there.

Ron was raised by his mother, an English teacher, father, a pharmacist, a small business owner, and a military veteran who served as an infantry officer during the Vietnam War. Ron’s father was also active in local politics, having been elected to the hospital board and School Board. Ron’s parents instilled in him a strong sense of patriotism and morality.

Ron has always loved history, especially U.S. history and military history. When he was young, he constantly read books about war and the army. He was always active and opinionated about politics and held a conservative mindset due to his upbringing, mainly because his parents owned a small business.

Ron’s unique perspective was that children whose parents had jobs instead of owning a business did not get to see what he saw growing up. This shaped Ron’s worldview into a hard-core conservative viewpoint, especially regarding fiscal responsibility and the size and scope of government.

Ron graduated high school in 1987 and entered the Navy in 1988 as an Areographers Mate (AG). While in the Navy, he served on the USS New Jersey and the USS Peleiu. Ron looks back at his time in the Navy with affection, but it was not what he wanted to do for a career because he intended to follow in his father’s footsteps as a pharmacist. He exited the Navy in 1992, went to work as a pharmacy tech, and went to school to begin my prerequisites.

As Ron grew older and became a man, he began to see the world through the lenses of his eyes without the influence of his parents. While they shaped many of his core beliefs, he had no idea how far apart they would ultimately become, yet in time, he helped reshape their views and significantly influenced them to bring them to his viewpoint.

Ron’s awaking journey began in 2004 when he watched the 911 In Plane Sight documentary. Realizing what happened that tragic day in September 2001 had a profound effect on him. It completely twisted, in a positive way, his understanding of historical events and altered how he looked at the world.

Ron has been down countless rabbit holes since he got red-pilled and cannot satiate his thirst for understanding. Truth is his only dog in the fight and retains an open mind regarding most of history.

Ron plants his flag and defends a few topics to the death, but not many. He also asks his audience to correct him if he gets something wrong and will freely debate those who disagree to come to a better understanding.

In the final analysis, Ron simply wants to share what he has discovered with the world and help others on their journey from being asleep to awake.
